The flight was ok in general. The main problem is that Schiphol airport in Amsterdam is a mess in terms of having a smooth connection and layover. I had 2 hours to make the connection and almost missed the flight to Lisbon. I would NOT recommend at all The use of KLM and Amsterdam as a hub to any other city. Not at this time of caos.
Our flight was canceled and had to stand in line for 3 hours and 11 minutes to get on a flight to Florence Italy for the same day. They couldn’t get us to Genoa for 36 hours and had to go through Rome no direct flight. We will be contacting customer service for compensation for a hotel stay in Florence and train tickets to reach our destination Genoa Italy.
The flight was delayed at least one hour. The bathroom inside the aircraft was really dirty. On the other hand the cabin crew was really nice.
Very cramped flight, overhead bins were all completely filled, and passengers had to fly with bags by their feet which was not very comfortable for me personally.
The flight from Rome to Ams was delayed. The flight from AMS to Moscow was missed. - We spent 2h in a linewaiting for the service desk to rebook the tickets - Then, we spend more than an hour to get the hotel - Then waiting for the shuttle another 30 minutes Unexpectedly poor and slow service. The next working day is ruined with the flight in the middle

The flight attendants did not come around to give out headsets but I had mine so I did not ask if they had them. The second meal was better than other flights I've been on, it was a stone oven baked pizza and not some sugary breakfast full of carbs. I tried the red wine, it tasted sweet and low quality. Would not get that again. The beer selection included an IPA, which was not really craft because Goose Island is owned by one of the biggest beer companies Anheuser-Busch. However, I did appreciate having an IPA on the menu from a former craft brewery which was better than all the other big brands. I'd like it more if it was a real craft beer from a non-mass producer. Snacks were made available to pick-up in the mid-plane galley which not all flights do so it's a plus. Movies selection was expansive and it included multiple films that were nominated or awarded at film festivals such as Sundance, Tribeca and others. I was very pleased with the selection. Keep up the quality! Plane was clean, seemed new, bathrooms fairly clean, nice soap and had all the required paper supplies.
Everything about the flight was pleasant - crew to taxing and landing.
I am not happy with the whole experience
The new Zirrus seats on A350 are comfortable in both sit up and lie down positions. And the one in between. Funny thing, they kinda click back and forth
Finnair crew is always polite and professional. Food was fine beautifully presented. Champagne is plentiful and the blueberry juice is delicious
Check in was a disaster. We had to check in to each leg separately - and had to figure that out on our own. Buying a FinnAir marketed flight created a nightmare.
Alt fungerte meget bra. Crew var vennlige og opplagte, hadde fokus på jobben og hadde kontroll på oppgavene. Bare positivt å bemerke! Reiser mye med Finnair, og den gode opplevelsen er standard. Personalet får antagelig skolering og kan omgås passasjerene med vennlighet og respekt.
Ulemper: "The passenger sitting next to me smelled REALLY bad. Like he hadn't washed himself in weeks. Other passengers around me got a whiff too and also reacted the same. I asked the main crew member from my aisle for a seat change but he came back 10 mins later saying there was nothing else available. Later when I was walking around to stretch my legs, I saw there were AT LEAST 10 seats open in the next cabin. Why lie? The entertainment system touch-screen was not working properly and the headphones kept falling out of my ear."

Fordeler: "Check in staff at counter in Chicago was very friendly and saved my trip by safely keeping a critical document that I accidentally left behind on the counter. Really friendly and attentive flight attendants on the flight."
Ulemper: "Aging seats and interior of plane were showing badly and it downgraded the ambience of the flight."
Fordeler: "Was great on the way to Helsinki and extremely poor on the return trip."
Ulemper: "Seat pitch was horrible! Almost as bad as United and American. Very uncomfortable!"

Fordeler: "I flew in economy. 9+ hours from ORD to HEL. The seat was average size. We were provided with a pillow, blanket and headphones. I did not use the in-flight entertainment, which was on an LCD screen. It was warm, so i didn't use the blanket. I also brought a neck-pillow, which is vital on overnight flights. They served a full dinner shortly after takeoff: I had meat lasagna which wasn't that bad, along with corn, a roll w/ butter, two saltine crackers with decent cheese and a chocolate pudding. Upon waking, I ate the breakfast, which was scrambled eggs and two sausages and a roasted tomato, a roll with butter, fruit cup and orange juice, coffee on the side. All pretty good, it was nice to have a meal before deplaning in Helsinki and waiting to get through passport control. Attendants on this flight were quite friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. No problems with luggage. All in all, a real bargain price, and I got more than I bargained for."

Ulemper: "It may be not about flying process but airport environment or service. ARN airport was a bit cold even inside of the building . The WiFi was offered only limited time , which was very shorter than I expected but overall status with cosy mood made me as if I were at home . On the other hand , the finnair check in counter had only two , one of which was business and the other was economy it took about 40mins to send my luggage and check in ."

Ulemper: "I booked this trip thinking it was with a European carrier - I had specifically wanted to avoid an American carrier. I was unable to confirm my flight online and had to ring because at NO POINT was I sent info that it was AA and not Finnair. I was charge almost $60 for this service because I did not have the right references sent with my confirmation email. T he seats were cramped and uncomfortable, I was unable to pick my seat on any flight and despite my request could not change it. Boarding at Chicago was a farce, none of the ground crew seemed to be in charge and we barely started boarding with 20 mins to takeoff. Needless to say the flight left late and we had to wait to take off, and of course had to wait to land in London."
