This was the worst meal I ever had on a flight. It was undercooked pasta with unflavored tomato paste. Horrible.

Ulemper: "Please don’t be black and travel with Turkish Airlines. They are rude and racist. Over booked flights, chances of missing connections. My son ranged the bell to ask for water. When the hostess came, she spoke to the white lady sitting next to him, the person told her it is not be that ranged it is him. He wants water, she walked away did not speak to him and never gave him the water. The only food they served was pasta. If you don’t eat that no other options. They will pump you off a flight that you purchased because they are over booked and expect you to be ok with it. No customer service at all."

Ulemper: "No alcohol beverage service before take off. One of the only airlines that does this. Also flight was delayed again in Istanbul. We were delayed on our layover in, and out of Istanbul. Both times stuck on the tarmac. I see this as a common problem"

Ulemper: "I was penalized because of a political issue between USA and Turkey. I couldn't get the visa to travel there, and despite that I couldn't get a refund. I am 1k with united air, and will never include THY in my plans."

Ulemper: "When I check-in for flight from Rome to Istanbul and Istanbul to Los Angeles, only the first leg of trip was confirmed correctly. For the leg from Istanbul to Los Angeles I confirmed a window seat when I checked-in online. However, when I arrived at the airport I has a middle seat and could not change it and the 15 hour flight was miserable. I also asked to be upgraded to business class and told it would be $3,500.00, which was ridiculous."

The flight from JFK got delayed and for unknown reason when arriving to the gate in Istanbul my seat was given to other passengers - though I came to the gate before the boarding was closed. I have never in my life received such a poor service. I was lied/misled/attacked by Turkish airline employees in the gate and in the transfer desk. I would never recommend taking Turkish airlines to anyone"

For long international flights, the airline still provides disposable slippers, toothbrush, and eye cover for every passenger 3. Crew members on board were friendly and service oriented"
Ulemper: "1. Poor support for passengers with international transfers. We took Turkish airline to fly from Rome to San Francisco with an overnight stopover in Istanbul. The airline promised overnight stay and transportation. When we got into Istanbul airport after 11:00pm as scheduled, there was no support from the airline. Different airline staff provided different answers. Very confusing. The on-site transfer desk support was unfriendly and not helpful. 2. Tight seat configurations for international flights. For our 13-hour flights, the seats were not comfortable."
Fordeler: "Boarding procedure was not organized. Boarding of business class and special needs passengers was not prioritized and were boarded along with economy passengers. Good choice of movies."

Ulemper: "This was one of the worst days of my life, health-wise, so it could be that my observation of the passage of time was somewhat distorted, but Turkish did everything either slowly, or more slowly on this day. First, name two things on a flight line that are wheeled, movable objects. Did you answer bus and plane? Well done. So if both bus AND plane are theoretically mobile, why then must I endure a long walk AND a long bus ride? Boarding was an hour-long event, probably due again to inefficient ground services. I fell asleep and woke up twice before it was over."

Ulemper: "There was a problem getting my "walker" upon arrival, but Turkish Airlines provided a wheelchair right to the baggage claim area. Very nice service!"

Fordeler: "I enjoyed receiving food on the flight with real silverware, a warm roll and friendly service. Having a choice of entertainment was also nice. Best of all, I like the fact that the airlines offers a guided tour of Istanbul in English during a layover there; I only wish I'd read that in the in-flight magazine before going off on my own to sightsee."
Ulemper: "I didn't like the multiple screenings to get on the plane, but suspect that was more a decision of the airport than the airlines. Being singled out for extra screening wasn't my favorite either!"

Ulemper: "Entertainment option was restricted to one movie for everyone on the flight. I wasn't interested in the movie. This flight was not equipped with the entertainment suite attached to the chair like the previous flight."
Fordeler: "Priority lounge access made 12 hour layover less unbearable."
Ulemper: "Missing tray table. Was allowed to keep my bag for takeoff but not for landing. Defective headphones (three pairs). Long waits for lavatories. Animals in main cabin. No ability to turn off main cabin screen while landing. Neighbor vomited due to roughness of landing. And the 12 hour layover (CDG-IST-JFK) was pretty harsh, though not as bad as 16 in the other direction."

This was a United flight. Seats were way too small. Zero space for bags. My toddler and I were crammed in the middle back of tnr plan with no option to upgrade. Food was awful. Crew was late getting to the plane - it was just pure hell.

Førts flyen blir 20 minutter forsinket . Etterpå når vi sitte i flyen og skule fly hadde mye bråk som vi visste har teknisk problem . Så etterpå vi måte og sitte i flyen og venter cirka 2 timer . Det var veldig dømt og sitte i en fly og vente 2 timer ?!! Og hele tida vi følger ikke trygg siden vi hørte om flyen har teknisk problem. Vi forventet bytte flyen ikke tar samme fly som har teknisk problem . Og siden vi hadde en langs tur PGA flyen hadde problem vi fått ikke noe ekstra service som matt ellers litt drikke . Det var veldig dumt . Derfor vi følte veldig dårlig og det var veldig dårlig service !!! Mvh Salar Abdipour Elham Soroori .

The flight arrive to Sarajevo late and I was almost loosing the chance to catch my next flight to Dammam.

Lufthansa is the worst airlines ever !! Very unprofessional I then booked another flight back to Dubai on Emirates

Ulemper: "Leg room. US domestic flights have more legroom than this transcontinental flight. Seats recline into your face, knees bump seat in front of you and some kind of equipment box took the space In front of me for my leg. I had to use the leg room of the passenger next to me to put my foot down."
Fordeler: "They were smiling and very welcoming"
Fordeler: "Booked a flight to Italy in economy section and was worried that it would be a difficult and uncomfortable flight. However it exceeded my expectations and never felt that I was in the economy section. They provided excellent service and made sure you were comfortable and attended to. Would recommend"
Ulemper: "Larger seats! More legroom! No seats which don't recline. Specifically, the seat in front of min reclined -- literally into my lap, since my knees were against the back of that seat ALL the time. Min didn't recline, since it was too close to a partition."

Had to go through security a second time even though it was a connecting flight. Luggage got crushed in a carousel pile-up and took a long time to come out."

Ulemper: "Horrible experience. Stranded for 3 hours inside stationary flight, 4 hours in a long queue. Very very poorly managed. I slept on a chair in the cold weather. Atleast make arrangements for bad situations, apparently I was booked on another flight but they made me stand in a 4 hour long queue to find that out. Kiosk outside showed I was put in no flight. One of my worst experiences and rest assured if I’m given a chance I will never choose Lufthansa again."
Fordeler: "Flights to/from Prague are generally late and we missed 2 connections in 1 week"
Ulemper: "Connection. Ft from Prague was 2 hours late and there was no connection. We missed our dinner with dear friends that we rarely get to see."
Fordeler: "Upgraded from premium to Business class. Very good service and a good night slep."

Ulemper: "They ran out of food- I didn’t have dinner on that flight. We were almost 2 hours late to Dubai. I was irritated to say the least."

Ulemper: "Food was tasteless - of very questionable quality, too much sugar and fat, unhealthy. Space between seats very tight, very uncomfortable. Music sound poor"

Ulemper: "Cabin Crew does not pay much attention to customer need even in business class. They need to learn lot from KLM."

Ulemper: "Food was awful. Muslim meals were gross. Need to find a new vendor in Germany. Breakfast was very poor. We were starving when we got to Washington. No snacks were provided. I would prefer a seafood or vegetarian option. Bathroom were filthy. For such a long flight there has to be a backup for dirty bathrooms"
Fordeler: "Top notch in-flight entertainment. Chicken meal was not bad. Friendly crew"
Ulemper: "These flights in and out of Newark have the tightest leg room I've been on. I feel bad for tall passengers. The boarding gate from Düsseldorf was way too crowded."
Fordeler: "Everything except the delay. I love the free movies and free headphones. I love getting two blankets. The flight attendants were great!"
Ulemper: "two and 1/2 hour delay before taking off."
Fordeler: "I am 6'1 so I wish could have afforded 1st class, but I am grateful to the desk staff who made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Great movies. Good food."

Ulemper: "The food wasn't good. The beef goulash was chewy and a piece of gristle got caught berween my teeth which I had difficulty removing. For lunch I had a pizza margarita and nothing else. Something else like an ice cream cup would have been nice. I tried to check in a second bag online and was unable to do so. I paid $75 at the check in counter which is exhirbitant compared to other airlines. my brother paid $100 for a bag which was 9 pounds over the limit- that's outrageous!! The person at the check in counter had difficulty with the credit card machine and we waited over 20 minutes to resolve the issue."
Fordeler: "Clean, new aircraft with comfortable seats, excellent in flight service by the cabin crew, great selection of in-flight entertainment. Punctual departure and arrival (very smooth landing of the B747-800!!)"
Ulemper: "I asked at the gate in Frankfurt if I would need to show all our passports again before boarding. The Lufthansa gate agent said she didn't think they would be checked again and to just have boarding passes ready. So I packed the passports on my carryon backpack and just had our 7 boarding passes for our family. Then at the end of the jet bridge right before getting on the aircraft, two people were checking passports again. I had to unpack them from the folder in my backpack. Not a big issue, but the gate agent gave me bad information and should have known we needed boarding passes and passports for boarding."
Fordeler: "Extremely roomy seats! So glad to have the room after a cramped flight from Europe!"

The flight was ok in general. The main problem is that Schiphol airport in Amsterdam is a mess in terms of having a smooth connection and layover. I had 2 hours to make the connection and almost missed the flight to Lisbon. I would NOT recommend at all The use of KLM and Amsterdam as a hub to any other city. Not at this time of caos.

being a flight attendant and using spécial fare I apreciate being treated equally to the other pax, the fact that the crew, when I informed them of my status, went to check if I had a good seat ( no one beside me, to be able to get good rest.) Those are important gestures towards the person. I look to more flights with KLM

Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."
Ulemper: "The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing."
