At the gate in Vienna we were not permitted to enter seating area unless business class or wheelchair... this was very bad and actually impossible to understand. So uncomfortable! I have been all over the world and have actually never seen this policy. It is very bad for business and will hurt the airline’s reputation!
Food and confort is worse than ever
The flight was fine. Legroom on this airline is not as good as others, but we were saved by the fact the flight was not full and two of us were able to stretch out over three seats. I found some interesting movies to watch. The TV show selection was rather lacking. Food was ok.
Everything went very smoothly.
There was no food. I’m not sure if that is due to Covid restrictions or just cutting corners, but I was disappointed.
Seems strange when there are so few flights because of corona that everyone is stuffed into a bus to drive out to the plane for boarding instead of using the airbridge. Not sure what the reason for that was. No problem with using the airbridge on arrival. The flight itself was otherwise fine.

Flight to my final destination was cancelled (first it was delayed, but I did not know that untill I got to the gate) I was diverted to other country (by other company), had to pay for hotel and taxi, missed almost two days of my vacation. On my flight back home, they have lost my luggage... hope they will find it. Now I am trying to get refund for cancelled flight, hotel, taxi, food... I will never fly with this company by my own choice any more!!!"

They skipped our entire row serving morning refreshments and then complained and tried to shame us all for calling them back. Food quality was on par with Alegent Airlines. We even got charged for one piece of checked luggage 46lb on a international flight. That was a first!!!"
Fordeler: "It got me where I wanted to go, non-stop, for a reasonable price."

Ulemper: "Passengers should be notified of the process of changing airplanes at Vienna. What a nightmare. We were scheduled for 50 minutes between flights. Not really enough. If we were aware of what was required it may have helped, however the distance we had to walk was rather extreme."

Fordeler: "The outbound flight from Vienna to IAD had much better service. The return flight from IAD to Vienna, the crew didn't come back to refill water or ask to top up drinks. The food choices were more limited. The entertainment system on the flight needs a larger selection."
Ulemper: "Designs of Business Class seatings need some improvement. It seemed there was waste of useful space. Therefore, the area for Business Class seating was big but there were not enough space for everything."

Ulemper: "The Internet didn't work. Although boarding was good the person making the announcements needs to know she should speak up."

Ulemper: "Check in at Vienna airport was awful! Chaotic, no help! Kiosk software was horrible. Touch screens didn't work. No back button so, if you made a mistake you had to start from the beginning. Passport reader was not working properly. Machines were slow and delayed in responding. Not enough staff available for assistance. Arrival at LAX was even worse. Plane had to taxi for 30 minutes all about the airport runways. Finally got to a gate -almost on the beach! Then had to bus everyone to main terminal. Slow in getting bags to the passenger pickup. It took us 2 hours post touchdown to get out of the airport! Almost missed the airport shuttle,"
Fordeler: "Even though I was very disappointed at what the Austrian airline did to me, the staff and crew and captains where professional and the flight was comfortable especially on Lufthansa. However, I missed the experience of enjoying the flight with the group of people that I joined on the way to Vienna and to Egypt."
Ulemper: "I didn't like the fact that they cancelled my Austrian flight to a completely different company (Lufthansa). I paid extra money when I reserved the tickets in the USA to make sure I am on the same plane as the other three families that i wanted to be with as a group. They had reserved their tickets and I got the flight numbers and when I reserved my booking I paid extra to be on the same airplane as the rest of the group. My plan worked going to Vienna and to Cairo (although one of the planes were delayed 3 hours which ruined our stay in Vienna) but on the way back from Cairo to LA, I couldn't be with the group because I left 2 hours early and arrived in LA 2 hours late. I pleaded that I came with a group but they said I have a different booking so they couldn't honor keeping me on the same plane as the group. I am very disappointed and will avoid my future travel with Austrian airline"

Ulemper: "The crew at the airport before boarding was a little impolite. As people were getting ready to board and waiting in the line, they were told to go back to customer service to register passports and get new boarding passes, without prior announcement. That could have been avoided if they informed us."
Ulemper: "No entertainment - probably due to short flight time. On my flight from la to vienna the entertainment was remarkable."

Ulemper: "Boarding was chaotic, cramped. Passengers kept lining up only to be sent back to the end of the line after documents were checked three separate times. Only first class passengers were allowed at the gate. Chaotic and frustrating. Not what one would expect of Austrian efficiency!"

Ulemper: "At 11h30 of 14/9 we (HOANG MINH CHAU and NGUYEN SI THANH) were standing at the ticket counter in Vienna and we could not check in due to no payment yet for the ticket and so the reservation has been cancelled. Due to this reason we had have to buy new tickets at the airport ticketing counter. So please sort out your problem with the airline and get back to me. From my bank the payment has been done yet to you. We had have double pay for one trip."

We paid Lufthansa for reserved seats months before this flight. Apparently this was not forwarded to ticketing as the clerk at check-in gave us seats at the very back of the plane next to restrooms and storage. Needless to say, we didn’t sleep at all on our overseas flight. We sincerely hope that our accommodations are better when we return to the US on October 11th.
We connected to this flight very late, in fact at departure time. We were last to board. The crew was very empathetic and welcoming. The plane was impeccable. We flew economy, so it was a bit cramped. We were served a snack that was more than expected these days. All in all a good experience.
Førts flyen blir 20 minutter forsinket . Etterpå når vi sitte i flyen og skule fly hadde mye bråk som vi visste har teknisk problem . Så etterpå vi måte og sitte i flyen og venter cirka 2 timer . Det var veldig dømt og sitte i en fly og vente 2 timer ?!! Og hele tida vi følger ikke trygg siden vi hørte om flyen har teknisk problem. Vi forventet bytte flyen ikke tar samme fly som har teknisk problem . Og siden vi hadde en langs tur PGA flyen hadde problem vi fått ikke noe ekstra service som matt ellers litt drikke . All luggages got lost, one of them had my dad’s 3 month supply of medicine (hence we had to check), and none of the Lufthansa nor United customer service have been helpful. This is outright horrible… Will always try to avoid Lufthansa whenever I can from this point on

Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."

Not sure why the gate information would show "boarding" and then "gate closing" before anyone had actually started boarding. Was ultimately sat before the scheduled takeoff time, although takeoff was after the schedule. Favourable flying conditions allowed us to land 5 minutes early, although as there was another plane still sitting at our gate on arrival meant we were ultimately late to the gate (giving gate / disboarding times would be more honest than just the scheduled landing time). Somehow, even though there was a plane sitting at our gate on arrival, when we were allowed to taxi to the gate, there were apparently no ground staff there. What? Even though there was an incoming plane, they went elsewhere? Staff on the plane and the meal service were fine.
I was booked in economy and was upgraded to business class by bidding for the upgrade. The business class experience was excellent. The seat was very spacious and comfortable. The meal service was provided by trolley service so each course was chosen at your seat so you could view each selection. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The only negative thing was the entertainment selection. There were few movies to choose from in comparison to other airlines I have flown.
All services were satisfactory. I I was impressed With the BGO airport. The angst I had about making my BGO connection to OSL to EWR was all in vain. I had time to enjoy the time between flights to shop and use up my unused Krones. I'll use SAS when ever they fit into my flight schedule.Thanks.
My flight was delayed. They rebooked my ticket by flying to Bergen to Oslo, Oslo to Copenhagen then Copenhagen to SFO. Once I got to Oslo, the flight was delayed again going to Copenhagen. By the time, I got to Copenhagen, my flight to SFO was already boarding. I had to run one mile from terminal A to terminal E and was stuck in customs because of the long line. The good thing is that half of the passenger for the SFO flight were also stuck in the custom line with me so the plane had to wait for all of us.

Bedre håndtering av kansellering, rebookinger med bedre alternativer. Bedre tatt hånd om etter en kansellering i form av oppgradering av klasse, sete, matservering. Ingen kompensasjon for ulempene før turen eller under turen.
Billettene våre ble kansellert pga streiken. Nye billetter tur/retur Barcelona kom på 19.500,-

Flight got delayed in SFO. Had layover in Copenhagen for 1 hours but missed my connecting flight because of delay in SFO. Had to wait 6 hours in Copenhagen for next flight :'(
SAS er i ferd med å bli håpløst utdatert for business reisende, dessverre. Man kaller det Plus og selger det inn som en business class, men det er jo bare tull... Reise fra CPH til Island var med Icelandair, full business og topp service, reise fra Reykjavik til Oslo, med SAS, var et svært gammelt fly, gamle og dårlige seter, fullt av mennesker som sild i tønne og dårlig mat. Mens flyet fra Oslo til Stavanger var nytt, alt var bedre men det burde vært motsatt; lengre distanser, bedre komfort, for fullt betalende passasjerer, men det tenker ikke SAS på. Jeg faser ut SAS fra nå av og vil fly mest mulig med andre selskap ut fra Stavanger, så det blir nok mer KLM fra nå av..

Fordeler: "Crew was good. Flight was delayed by incoming flight from Oslo so I was anxious that I might miss my connection in Oslo. Flight attendants announced connection gates for transit which was very helpful."
Ulemper: "Perhaps a little more communication about delayed flights. Even though passengers were asked to let connecting passengers through at disembarking, it was still very difficult. Perhaps back stairs to the plane as well as front would have helped."
Fordeler: "food wqs decent entertainment options were also good."

Fordeler: "Plenty of room on this flight. The plane was about half full."
Ulemper: "Everyone's breakfast was supposed to be an "egg and bacon" flavored wrap of some sort, but there was absolutely no egg or bacon flavor associated with it. The flavor of bacon is very distinctive. This thing's flavor and texture suggested some sort of very tasteless doughy material, with certainly nothing tasting like egg or bacon inside of it. Ugh."

Fordeler: "Transfer time is not sufficient due to customs in Sweden customs inspection takes too long for only one staff."
Fordeler: "Great legroom for premium seats. Even though not an emergency exit, bags need to go up, which doesn’t make sense at all."
Ulemper: "Seats itself uncomfortable for long flights. Boarding process could be better."
Fordeler: "Crew Flight delayed. Said 30. Actual 1 hour"
Ulemper: "Kayak sold me a one way usd 500 ticket and did not give me the option to add the luggage. Had to pay 60 eur in the airport. Is probably better to buy in the airline directly"

Ulemper: "All airplanes are 2 Noisy. (Of course this is not the fault of SAS). I use noise canceling headphones that helps a lot. EBut the background noise level always strikes me as too much!"

Ulemper: "Boarding was shambolic and the 737 is not as nice as the new A320 in terms of comfort or amenity. Boarding was all over the place - and the gate agents clearly need extra people around for a full flight. One person for 170 ppl didn't feel right."

Fordeler: "Every one from the check-in counter to the baggage claim was gracious, courteous and very interested in my well-being. It was quite a lovely experience.."

Fordeler: "Setene er behagelige, og selv i SAS Go er det mulig å legge setene lenger ned enn jeg er vant til hos en del andre flyselskaper i samme seteklasse."
Ulemper: "Det er ikke mulig å bestille spesialmåltid samtidig med billettene, man må ringe. Dette virker unødvendig tungvint, spesielt med tanke på at det var ekstra lang ventetid hos kundeservice i den aktuelle perioden. Heldigvis var det mulig å få hjelp via Facebook, men det er visst ikke vanlig."
Ulemper: "My 1st experience on SAS & everything was late: takeoff over an hour late, and upon arrival in CPH we were delayed again to exit the plane because they couldn't get the skyway door attached to the plane."
Fordeler: "Friendly crew. First meal was good."
Ulemper: "Small movie selection. Second meal/snack not great. Older plane (still had ashtrays in arm rests)."

Plutselig kun 15 minutter med internett! Jeg hadde koblet meg opp før avgang uten å være klar over denne vesentlige endringen, for at nettforbindelsen så ble kuttet mens den fortsatte å telle minutter, for så å få beskjed om at de 15 minuttene var brukt opp, nåe jeg en times tid senere prøvde å koble meg på igjen :(

Ulemper: "There wasn't a huge selection of movies/episodes of shows to watch."
Fordeler: "Rakk ikke flytoget, fordi det gikk FØR det sto at det skulle gå. Ble derfor for sein til flyet.."
Fordeler: "Absolutely nothing"
Ulemper: "Fight could leave on time. It was one hour late. Not even water served complimentary. Seat old and cramped. Outdated entertainment with no variety."
Fordeler: "Great movie selection!"
Ulemper: "After 6 or so hours, they ran out of many snacks at the snack bar! Chocolate muffin and brownie, etc..."
Ulemper: "Making and being offered a solution that wasn’t two days later. When our plan had to emergency land due to engine surge there was no one working at the Norwegian desk. You had to wait in line for an hour and a half for a person to give you a slip of paper to call. They should have just told everyone"
Fordeler: "Very efficient"
Fordeler: "I liked Landing and leaving off the flight."
Ulemper: "They provided no drinks or food for a 12hr flight. I was Charged $100 for my luggage when the check in process didn’t give me the option to pay at the kiosk. We were delayed by 2hrs and missed all connecting trains to my final destination."
Fordeler: "Everything turned out well but..."
Ulemper: "Neither the website nor subsequent communication let me know I could buy dinner or snacks. Nor did I know that blankets and headsets were not provided. It was actually better than having carts blocking the aisles for so long. There was just insufficient information ahead of time"

Ulemper: "I changed seats with another passenger and I had preordered food. After telling this to 4 crew members, they still kept delivering my food to the wrong seat. I ordered vegetarian, so I got my food before everyone and then they kept forgetting to serve me drinks and coffee and so many other things."
Fordeler: "The fact that the plane was newer"
Ulemper: "Perhaps offering water to passengers who didn’t select in flight meal option. Eight hour flight with no water is horrible. There is an option for buy bottled water for 4 Euros but I think basic customer service should include water. Terrible... I’ve never seen this before!!!!"
Ulemper: "Legroom. Complimentary coffee."
Fordeler: "Efficient boarding"
Ulemper: "Not only do you have to pay for a meal or snack, but there is absolutely no free drink service at all, not even water. Want a can of coke? $3 on your credit card and I’ll get that right out to you. What a joke. Have to pay for a blanket too. The most penny pinching airline I’ve ever flown."

Fordeler: "I liked the look of the new 787 plane."
Ulemper: "I didn't get served or offered a meal for the entire 10 hour flight. I doubt the food had to be purchased as people all around me were eating and I think I was the only one on the plane not served. The flight attendant crew was very rude yelling at me and not serving me a meal. Never Norwegian !"

Ulemper: "Be on time and not spending my night at the airport because i lost the flight and they could not find anything earlier. I will never travel with kiwi again."

Ulemper: "Seats were very tight. Crew was not at all friendly. There were no free food or drinks. Even water and coffee were not free. I tried to order a muffin and were told they ran out. It was a very long 12 hours!! I am sorry I will be taking Norwegian airline home."

Fordeler: "Supert at den sure passasjeren i midten flyttet seg til kjente annet sted i flyet. Hun var sur fordi jeg hadde plass C som hun ville ha, jeg ba henne flytte seg til sin plass på en høflig måte. Det er en grunn til at jeg reserverer på forhånd."
Ulemper: "Maten var under enhver kritikk. Helt ihjelkokt i microen. Det som skulle være broccoli var blitt en grønngul gugge. Gulrøtter uten substans, og til slutt mørt kjøtt. Men alt for salt. Åja, glemte fløtepotetene. De var så mye varmet at den var brun og tørr helt igjennom."
Ulemper: "Seat space, boarding process, cost of food"

Ulemper: "Alt for varierende temperatur ombord. Det gikk fra iskaldt til kjempevarmt flere ganger. To runder iskaldt og to med kjempevarme. Det må vel kunne gjøres noe med?"

Ulemper: "Security and check in process need much improvement. No loungers even in premium."
Ulemper: "Avgangen var avlåst slik at vi ikke hadde noe sted å sitte ned mens vi ventet på avgang"
Ulemper: "None of the staff could tell me which gate number it the flight was due to an error in number switching, causing me to go through security check 3 TIMES over 3 HOURS which ruined my experience and put me in an aggravated mood! Crew spoke without empathy & redirected their anger of gate errors at me!"
Fordeler: "Excellent flight. Smooth."
Ulemper: "They didn’t let anyone check in online. So there was a huge line of people all trying to check in at one time and caused a problem for other ticket desks in the area. If they just let you check in online like every other airline it would have been more seamless and saved everyone a lot of time."
Ulemper: "Pretty good cheap filthy on the 787 Dreamliner!"

Ulemper: "Både tur og retur var forsinket med 30 og 60 minutter. Lite info som vanlig. Mistet transport videre som vanlig. Godt nyttår"
Ulemper: "We were trying to connect from Denver through Newark to Barcelona. Our flight from Denver was delayed. We still could have made the Norwegian flight if they had allowed us to ticket the segment from Newark to Barcelona in Denver. We tried, knowing the connection was going to be tight, to no avail."

Fordeler: "The movies helped distract me from how cold, parched and starving I was."
Ulemper: "LAX to Barcelona with no complimentary water or snacks?? So bad for your health. This level of horrible bare bones service goes beyond inconvenient and is simply bad for your health."
Fordeler: "The nearly lie flat seats in premium class were nice."
Ulemper: "No Dreamliner—more like a nightmare liner. No online boarding pass meant reentering security line with no fewer than 500 people in front of us; 3 hour delay departing newark; filthy, crowded, standing room only lounge in Newark; no sight of flight attendants until 2 hours after take off (by that time it was 4am and no beverage)."

Ulemper: "Our flight was delayed by six hours. We did not leave until 5 AM from new work. It would’ve been nice if they had given us water, crackers or something in that time since all the shops were closed"

Ulemper: "I booked an isle seat, however it was switched to a middle seat without my knowledge. I was not informed that movies/entertainment could only be accessed from United app on my phone, so I didn't bring my phone charger with me. Seats were quite uncomfortable."
Fordeler: "Nice clean, new plane"
Ulemper: "Be prepared to bring out your credit card for a crappy cup of coffee, and again for water, toilet paper, and anything else you might need. Then it took a full 50 minutes to get checked luggage at destination (Barcelona). Staff was rude and simply did not care. After paying for seat assignment and checked bag, it is not a bargain airline. This was first and last time on Norwegian."
