Fordeler: "Brand new, clean and comfy plane, wonderful entertainment. However, frustrating security check performed by Gözen Air Services, mediocre food (it was way better years ago), useless cabin crew with terrible English."

Ulemper: "Weeks before the flight, Turkish Airways denied giving me a seat. In the day before the flight their on-line computer system did not recognize my ticket number all though it has for the previous three legs of the ticket. When I arrive at the airport I was told the flight was over booked and giving a stand by boarding card. There were about 15 of us with stand by. Only two were denied boarding. Although they did not say so it was clear it was because it was a Kayak reservation. It took 3 1/2 hours in Istanbul airport to get a boarding pass on the next flight. I spoke to eight Turkish Airway representatives. None of them were helpful. Each shifted me to another office elsewhere in the airport without giving me clear direction. Apparently the issue was that they did not want o pay compensation although I never asked for this. In the final office back outside passport control I said I was looking for a boarding pass not compensation.. They gave me on on the 6:10 pm flight and had me sign a statement that I had received 600 Euros in compensation. When I arrive at JFK, my bag was not on the flight. They say they will deliver it today."

Ulemper: "We were traveling with our 1 year old. On any other flight, we've been given seats with extra legroom and a bassinet when available. Turkish airlines put us crammed in a window and middle seat for a 9 hour flight. It was absolutely un-doable. Everyone around us realized this and tried to help as we asked the flight attendant to help us and she said that I should ask other people to move around not her. We had to go around the plane begging people who were sitting with a bassinet and no baby to trade seats with us. It was an absolutely horrible experience. It was the airline's mistake, and we were the ones forced to try to fix it. Yes, we got a bassinet eventually, but not before we saw how mean and selfish other passengers could be pretending not to hear us and ignoring us. And no help from the crew."

Ulemper: "NOTE: THIS IS NOT A CRITIC OF THE AIRLINE Having personally experienced the latest in the consequences of travel related rules mandated by US public officials, I am yet again left wondering if they, and their families, go through these rules that they impose on the general public. Or if they just breeze into their private airport wings and planes. I doubt they take off shoes, belts, and such, or go through irradiated machines. But going through about 3 extra layers of security while transiting is a bit much. Not to mention the extra hours spent relinquishing and reclaiming laptops etc. Frankly, non of these acts makes anything safer. It is akin to the permanently parked police vehicle on the Brooklyn Bridge in NYC since 9-11. What is that supposed to deter?"

Fordeler: "This flight was more comfortable and has less overall radiating plane/ engine noise (it certainly could have been because of where my seat was on the flight). Again the food was delicious, and I appreciated just how often the crew came around to give out water (I get very dehydrated on flights so I appreciated that very much)"

Ulemper: "Retrieving the electronic equipment was a chaotic nightmare. There was no order. There were two lines where passenger did line up in than others cut the line claiming they had connecting flights. Those in charge never verified whether they were connecting to another flight. Never asked for their boarding pass. I heard some laughing saying they did no have connecting flights. I better job and method of handling this situation is needed as long as the ban is in effect. Otherwise, Turkish airlines is fine. My wife and I have traveled most airlines and travel extensively. So, we are aware of good service and bad. Your service minus the electronic equipment is good."

Fordeler: "They accommodated my service dog even without being in the system.They are always very nice and look after me perfectly!I was super late for boarding on the way from NYC and they helped me out!"
Ulemper: "I called the Customer service to let them know I have a service dog and she wasn't in the system neither the way to Hungary or back!I had a little trouble because of that!I asked to sit at the isle for the same reason and they gave me a seat and then moved me because they said I cannot sit there with a dog.They wanted to give me a middle seat but fortunately a nice girl swapped with me for the Isle seat!"

Ulemper: "I was first seated next to the two largest people on the plane, a couple. There was hardly room for me in the seat. I had the aisle seat. I asked the flight attendant if I could be reseated and she said the plane was full and there were no open seats. She eventually found me a middle seat in the back of the plane, which was so cramped I could harpy move. For a 10 hours flight, not good. I have gold status on Star Alliance, which got me an upgrade from Bishkek to Istanbul, but didn't help on this flight."

Ulemper: "Repetitive, intrusive, unsmiling screenings at Istanbul airport"

Fordeler: "I got a special meal -- Asian Vegetarian -- and it was delicious. I have also had the regular Vegetarian on other Turkish Air flights and they have been great too. So congratulations on good food! I just have one suggestion about the food: Just because someone is vegetarian, it doesn't mean that they don't want dessert! I notice that where others have chocolate pudding, for example, I get fruit. I like fruit... but a piece of cake or some other sweet is good too!"
Ulemper: "The pull-down food trays are often angled down so that the food slips into your lap. I often have to hold the cup or glass so it doesn't slip off."

Ulemper: "Stop over in Istanbul, flight to US. Had to go again through security with not enough staff, stood around 40min in a messy line with no air-conditioning​ or water to go thorough security again. There were elderly people having to do the same. Later, after landing, there was no parking for the airplane, so after 10 hours flight we we're held for 25 minutes inside the airplane. New regulations will make me reconsider using Turkish​ airline for US bound flights, although it's a great company, unless they find a more comfortable and organized way to do the security check."

Fordeler: "My wife says when liked Turkish airlines staff more than her travel on other airlines. She is very happy with her flight."

Fordeler: "Everything was great. Seats were comfortable, the Entertainement was great and the food was very good. Plus, sat next to great people."
Ulemper: "There was nothing I didn't like."

Ulemper: "Never got window, i lost a connection because the delay in NY and i had to wait an entire day, lost one day of my vacations"

Ulemper: "I had a problem and I was not able to fly. I bought insurance and I tried to contact them, but they denied my request and I would definitely recommend to remove this option because it doesn't give a good image of KAYAK. If I want to trust this application, I have to be confident to use the services and I service from the insurance was fake. I tried to reach the airline to cancel my ticket and they said it's not refundable. Therefore, I would definitely recommend showing refund options when selling tickets. I lost every penny I spent because I was not able to fly. I am sure that my message is delivered now!!!!"

Fordeler: "Customer service and professionalism of crew was outstanding. It felt like how it USED to be on other airlines, and even better! The food service was great, and I appreciated the little necessities bag. The travel experience was a positive part of our trip, instead of the usual exhausting drudgery of traveling very far distances."
Ulemper: "The bathroom did get a little smelly, and, as a tall person, the leg room was very tight when people put their seats back."

Ulemper: "I booked my ticket on Kayak two months prior to the departure date. The whole reason I booked it with Turkish Airlines was because the seats were listed as "lay flat". So I paid $150 more over the other airlines for the lay flat seating on my 8 hour flight from Katmandu to Istanbul and another 10 hours on to JFK. Well the seats weren't lay flat so I feel like I got played by Kayak and didn't have a very comfortable flight."

Ulemper: "It wasn't communicated beforehand to check in our baggage to electronics."

Fordeler: "The staff was excellent - wonderful service except the people who let some dog owners on board without bothering to check that they were in their soft cases and not smelling up the plane and walking in the aisles when food was served."
Ulemper: "I wish the seats were just a little more accommodating of a normal sized behind! Hard to squish for 10+ hours."

Ulemper: "There wasn't electricity at all on my seat and on some other in the same area. The screen didn't work and I couldn't even charge my phone. Very bad experience!"

Ulemper: "The flight attendants were uniformly rude and nasty to passengers from start to finish. As I boarded, I asked for a piece of art to be stored in the wardrobe compartment. This was treated as an inconvenience. During and after boarding, flight attendants addressed passengers rudely when encouraging them to take their seats in a timely fashion. Later, when my seat mate politely asked a FA to repeat the food options, she asked, "Excuse me?" several times and seemed very irritated to have to repeat the choices for him. Also, near the end of the flight, a pillow was on the ground and a FA asked those seated in my row to pick it up. We responded that it wasn't ours and she said something to the effect of, "Oh yeah? So how did it get there?" (Maybe because someone else dropped it and we didn't notice?) The FAs seemed irritated to serve passengers at all. Each time they passed through for beverage or meal service, I felt like I was imposing on them. I have never witnessed anything quite like it. Makes me wonder why they were all so upset and and felt it appropriate to speak and act disrespectfully toward customers. (Delta, do you have any insights?) I hope they all got a good night's rest after that haul."

Fordeler: "Boarding was easy. Mess up at JFK left us on the tarmac for an hour before getting to our gate. Pilot kept us informed. Pleasant crew."

Ulemper: "No assigned seats on second flight til we got to JFK."

Ulemper: "Check in was very hectic due to limited staff and getting bumped by the red carpet flyers. Boarding is always a little congested due to the lines. Better snacks please!!"

Fordeler: "the meal was OK and they served ice cream midway between SFO and JFK."
Ulemper: "Late departure. Long delay getting to the get because of congestion at Terminal 4."

Fordeler: "They kept me fed and hydrated the whole time, they let you watch brand new movies free, the seats are super comfortable. They allow a personal item and carry on at no extra charge."

Fordeler: "I loved that the plane was equipped with televisions. I have a hard time watching a movie on my hand held device."
Ulemper: "That an international flight didn't allow free luggage and that liquor purchased at the airport could not be consumed on the plane."

Fordeler: "Flight crew took very good care of us. They served several snacks, meals and free wine on the 8+ hours flight from Prague to NYC. The hot towels to freshen up before meals was a nice touch!"

Fordeler: "Over all the flight was smooth and great"
Ulemper: "Kayak, the confirmation email that was sent was incorrect, ended up flying delta - had a scare when checking in at the air europa desk and the attendant says "theres no flights to Malaga" - after further investigation from the staff, we found out it was a Delta flight and NOT and air europa flight"

Fordeler: "In flight entertainment interface and options were great!"
Ulemper: "Very uncomfortable!! Spent the entire flight with my knees pressed against the seat pocket. One flight attendant was somewhat rude and unpleasant."

Fordeler: "It was on time."
Ulemper: "The plane was dirty and there was a lot of trash around my seat."

Fordeler: "Food was nice and plenty. Great movie selection. Very polite crew."

Fordeler: "They expedited me in line in Havana because I was on the 1:35 flight to New York and were nothing but friendly about it."

Fordeler: "Flight was on time and even landed early. Boarding was seamless with bag tag. Seats were comfy. Crew was professional."
Ulemper: "A drink with no napkins? I know airlines need to cut costs but what if I spilled my drink or want to wipe my hands after eating pretzels Delta? You can still provide napkins."

Fordeler: "They did fly.... finally"
Ulemper: "Missed connection to Bangor. Had to overnight in NYC. Substituted smaller plane for this transcontinental flight."

Fordeler: "The flight attendant. Lovely and professional."

Fordeler: "The seats were comfortable. Loved that we all had our own TV's with free movies available. And loved that we were all served free food."
Ulemper: "No complaints."

Ulemper: "I didnt like that my flight was canceled and rebooked for no reason. This created me big problem in Athens that they couldnt find my ticket in delta. Also I didnt like that i had to stand and wait for 3 hours in the line because my flight was canceled but no one could let us know if there gonna be any flights within the day. I slept in the airport because i couldnt find a hotel to spend the night close to the airport. They were all full and i had no time to find one since I was waiting there for 3 hours with no informational. I slept on the floor and delta didnt even offer us a blanket. That was my worst trip ever."

Ulemper: "The flight was insanely delayed. Three hours. With a major product launch the next day, it was not ideal."

Fordeler: "Smooth flight; informative crew"

Fordeler: "The crew and the flight were all very pleasant. Highly recommended."
Ulemper: "Unfortunately the trip was marred by being stuck on the tarmac for the better part of an hour while we waited for out gate. Even when it became available however, we were forced to wait while ATC sent every other plain taxiing through our route which was clearly visible from our vantage point. Not an issue with Delta per se but nonetheless it left us all exhausted and frustrated."

Fordeler: "Super friendly and attentive crew. Good food. Nice new seats. Great tv entertainment options!"

Ulemper: "The tv screen corresponding to my seat 9A was not working so could not see any movies nor information during the whole flight SDQ to JFK. The condition was reported twice to the flight attendance but was not able to correct it even after resetting the TV settings twice"

Fordeler: "the majority of delta flights i've taken over the past few years have had huge issues - either long delays or cancellations. i won't be flying Delta again"

Fordeler: "Clean plane, friendly crew. Ahead of schedule arrival, pilots did beat to keep in smooth air."
Ulemper: "Took a bit to get first beverage. Thy ran out of KIND granola bars before reaching the back of the plane."

Fordeler: "We upgraded our seats to Delta Comfort, at a cost of round $90 per flight. It was well worth it!"

Fordeler: "I make this trip every month. And this crew is the best I had in a while."

Fordeler: "Delta was smart with boarding early once they realized everyone had cleared security. Flight took off on-time and arrived early. The crew was excellent and exuded energy although it was the end of the day."
Ulemper: "I ordered a special asian vegetarian meal and it was just plain horrible. I had to settle for the cookie. It's nice that they serve a complimentary meal on the red eye flight but the quality of the food was bad. Entertainment options were also limited although they had some recent box office entries from last year. The leg room also wasn't great but that's expected in economy I guess."

Ulemper: "Entertainment was working, watching movie when they said done didn't have do they were resetting system. They tried twice taking over an hour and it never came back on for anyone..... :("

Ulemper: "The airline lost my suitcase and deliver it only 72 hours later... They refused to give me proper compensation for items that were broken..."

Ulemper: "Very nice crew and great food"

Fordeler: "Pumpkin soup instead of a heavy entree was welcome and tasty. Breakfast yogurt portion was generous, the granola less so. Accompaniments were good. Butter was not ice cold, thank goodness."
Ulemper: "Inbelievably chaotic boarding process for Kili to Dar leg. No boarding lanes so had to fight through the crowd. Was able to observe cleaning process at Dar stop, which was cursory and am sure there was no cleaning of seats of those who boarded at Kili."

Fordeler: "Crew is excellent, polite and personal!"
Ulemper: "Plane is super old and outdated. Comfort seat is not, comfortable, very tight. TV screen is not good quality, with the old controls on a handset. No touch, no 1/8 inch audio jack (it has the old 3 holes one). Wifi for streaming freezes every other second. Just make a face lift to the plane, everything else is good."

Fordeler: "The socks offered in business were comfortable and nice looking. The red wine was good."

Ulemper: "Screens need a serious upgrade, my seat didn’t recline all the way nor could it be restored to an upright position. Not very comfortable and I paid for a seat upgrade."

Ulemper: "The air conditioners fan was bad and they had to fix it in London which took over 40 minutes off travel time...we arrived much later than expected in Lagos"

Ulemper: "As we landed we had to wait on the plane for an hour and a half because another plane (Spirit) was in our “parking spot.” This made it very difficult for people and connecting flights."

Fordeler: "Very personable staff. Food acceptable for airline fare. Ticket price was outstanding."

Ulemper: "The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing."

Fordeler: "Travel on Crostian Airlines did not pappen. KLM flight to Munich was cancelled and I was rescheduled on Air Setbia to Belgrade, the Split."

Fordeler: "She was cheerful and genuine. I have dietary restrictions but was unable to preorder a meal. She went out of her way to find an available meal for me. I also saw her bring other passengers extra snacks and drinks."

Fordeler: "Fairly nice flight. 7 hours AMS to JFK. They had ice cream cones for us mid flight and an after dinner cognac if you wished."
Ulemper: "Not a big fan of paying for a few extra inches of leg room in a better seat after paying for a ticket."

Ulemper: "Boarding was very confusing. There was an area where they were checking people's bags or something near the gate and you didn't know if you needed to stop at it or continue. They didn't collect garbage before landing. Not only did we have to take our bags off the plane, we had to carry our garbage (drink cups/food served) to the front of the plane to throw out."

Fordeler: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Fordeler: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Ulemper: "There was no amenities pack given in Premium economy. The food was ok. It would have been nice to have been offered another bread roll. Seat comfort was fine, but I kept getting hit by the separating curtain as the flight attendants went back and forth from economy."

Fordeler: "The seats were much more comfortable then my last flight. The entertainment system was also updated from the 1980’s remote and cord ones on my flight from DC to Paris."
Ulemper: "There was no food between the two meals on an 8 hour flight. I had a flight attendant rudely tell me that there is nothing to offer until the next meal. No one reached out to me about the horrible flight and comments I made from the last flight."

Ulemper: "1. Boarding - Learn from maybe Turkish Air who allocate people zones based on where you are seated in the plane. People seated all the way in the back should be allowed to board first and fill the plane back to front. Makes it less likely for you stand around waiting for people as well people all the way in the back making contact with every possible human already seated in the aisles. 2. Comfort - Window seats are too hot, middle aisle seats are too cold 3. Thankfully they do have halal offering. Now if they will even let me choose that I am allergic to seafood. Glad for the chicken. Nothing to boast about."

Ulemper: "I will not use o recommend to anyone to buy a ticket with the agency, at the airport in China we were treated like criminals because as they said we were not register in the system as passengers it was really a nightmare"

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed. We were told that it was just a half an hour delay by the man that was informing us of the delay and then we were then told by a woman that it was going to be over an hour. We weren’t told any specifics of why the plane was delayed, other than: “ the engineers are looking at the issue now”. We received messages saying that the flight was cancelled but then we were told to ignore that. We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

Fordeler: "The flight crew was excellent. My husband and I flew economy and I saw the crew keep passengers well fed (several meals and snacks) and were attentive to everyone's needs and all done with a smile. I thought the hot towels for cleansing our hands before meals was a very nice touch!"

Ulemper: "It's an a380, stains everywhere, aisles between seats narrow even for business, caos at CDG, no clear queues, ground staff shout at passengers, food selection good but huge gap between describtion and reality, in JFK we waited for 30 minutes cause the docking spot was too narrow for the captain, sky priority? The economy got their bags before 1st and business."

Fordeler: "Seats were comfortable, but the sliding action, instead of recline, took getting used to. Food was very good. Snacks available on demand, along with drinks. Complimentary wine with meal was also quite good. Entertainment system was first rate with plenty of options for TV. movies, music, games, etc..."
Ulemper: "Sitting in the middle two seats in the center of the 777 left me stuck for most of the flight. Got up only once. Wife's feet and ankles were swollen by the end of the flight. Not enough legroom to move much during the flight and not enough aisle space to get around with the plane so full. Have made flights twice as long on the 747 and were able to get up and walk."

Fordeler: "The flight crew was excellent in accommodating the passengers. One specific flight attendant was very patient in dealing with a continuously demanding passenger by being helpful and firm at the same time; a difficult combination of skills."
Ulemper: "The ground crew in CDG was very disappointing and unprofessional and very specifically in the luggage area. When I was told that my carry on luggage exceeded the allowed weight I argued that my luggage was weighed in Cairo and that it was less than the 12 Kg allowed weight. The Air France attendant then waved with annoyance to speak with her supervisor. When I approached her supervisor, who was speaking with another Air France employee, she looked annoyed and said just just to to booth #7 or 8 that handles excess luggage issues. My reaction is to avoid traveling through CDG in the future and I will focus on flying with Lufthansa."

Ulemper: "We were traveling with my 94-year-old grandfather who needed wheelchair assistance. And it took the 4th person I asked to get any assistance. The very first Alitalia person I tried to speak to was the very worst. Though her job was to check people in, she said she couldn't help me and to go to another counter. When I asked if she could please at least make a call to get a wheelchair (my grandfather was at the airport entry and couldn't walk) she made a terrible face, threw the papers on her desk around and said I had to go to another counter. When I went to the counter she pointed at, I was told again I would have to go to another counter. No offense to dog owners, but the animals that were traveling received better assistance."

Ulemper: "Entertainment very poor. Would recommend a kruger selection of movies and preferably to be available to watch once we are on the plane waiting for take off. Economy class space limited ."

Fordeler: "We landed safely in Toronto"
Ulemper: "In this 10 hr flight cabin crew came down the aisle only twice to offer refreshments. There should have been offers of at the least water or juice more than twice on this length of fight. I was disappointed that there were no hot drink e.g. coffee or tea offered at any time, not even with the meal, but this was certainly the least of our disappointments. Only once on this flight did I see a cabin crew member smile. Don't know why, but they were a most unhappy crew that day and this was conveyed to the passengers. I find this hard to believe, and perhaps both my husband and I fell asleep for the few minutes this would have taken, but neither one of us saw a crew member check for seatbelts and seat position before landing in TO. Boarding gate wasn't announced until an hour before boarding, which on an international flight from a large airport was a little stressful, but I am assuming there was a good reason for this."

Ulemper: "The staff were super rude, forgot my food TWICE. Boarding took ages, and once inside the plane, they took a long time to get on the runway. Food was terrible, the bread was hard as rock. IFE has some relatively new films, but the screen is very small. The screen has terrible quality, and honestly makes the flight excruciatingly boring if you don’t have other sources of entertainment."

Ulemper: "Not being able to purchase any food, wine or hot drinks on board. It doesn't seem such a difficult or costly service and most other airlines appear to manage it."

Ulemper: "We arrived at the airport at 9:00 to check in for our flight that was scheduled for departure at 12:15 and we were told that we could not check in until 2 hours before the flight (10:15). All of the passengers for flight AZ1466 lined up in front of a check-in counter that displayed Alitalia for our flight. At 10:45 they announced the check in for AZ1466 at a different check-in counter knowing full-well that everyone was lined up for flight AZ1466 on our line. So then everyone that was lined up at the first counter had to line up at the new counter. My wife and I were initially 3rd in line and then after we had to move we were in the very back of the line. On top of that, they only had 1 person checking everyone into economy (which was most of the people on the plane) and they also had to weigh everyone’s carry-on baggage. We were initially told they had weather issues with the snow in Rome and they did not know if we would take off on time or would be cancelled. However, I was getting e-mail messages from Kayak stating our flight was on-time. So how is it that a 3rd party travel company knew what was going on, but the crew at Alitalia did not? Afterward I had to go through security, wait on the tax refund line, and go straight to board the plane. After that we waiting on the plane for 50 minutes and did not take-off until 1:05 PM. These were the problems in short: 1. No one informed us that we could not check in at this particular airport until 2 hours prior to flight departure. 2. They did not begin the check in process until 90 minutes prior to departure. 3. We had to switch check-in lines and they only had 1 check-in person. 4. We had no time to shop or eat lunch at the airport. 5. We boarded the plane and waited until 13:05 to takeoff when we were scheduled to take off at 12:15 (50 minute delay). 6. We received no communications about delays from Alitalia (via e-mail or app). However, we received e-mails from Kayak stating everything was on time. We had no communication from Alitalia about the delay or that we could not check in early (which you could do at every other airport I have been to). We also had a connecting flight in Rome that we were concerned we would miss. We arrived at Rome airport on a delayed flight out of Marco Polo airport (AZ1466). Our 13:40 flight to JFK (AZ610) was delayed until 14:45. After we arrived at Rome airport we ran through the airport to our gate and boarded the plane. After we boarded the plane we waited until 16:10 to take-off (85 minute delay). We did not receive any communication from Alitalia via e-mail, the Alitalia app, or crew members that our flight was being delayed any longer than it already was. We planned on stopping to use the bathrooms in the airport, eat a decent lunch, and shop (which I promised my wife we could do at the airport). However, we could not do any of those things because we did not receive any information about delays from Alitalia. After we arrived home in New York the airline l"

Ulemper: "My flight cancelled. I waited 3hours in the flight. They said they provide the bus instead of flight. Now, I waiting 2 hours for they provide bus."

Ulemper: "Horrible experience with Alitalia. They boarded us on a plane that had a wheel issue, and kept us on the ground for 2 hours before they decided to de-plane us. We then had to wait in a 5+ HOUR LINE to get rerouted (nope, they won't handle these issues online or over the phone, you have to wait in line). And THEN they wanted us to wait in a 2 hour line to re-drop off our bags. We got stuck overnight in Rome and were put in a horrible Hilton Garden Inn and barely made it in time to use our coupon for a "free meal" (aka, frozen meatballs and stale bread in a buffet that had been sitting out all night). On our flight back, the food was absolutely terrible, the movie selections were old and scarce, and the seats were uncomfortable. We called to complain as soon as we got home and still have not heard back from Alitalia. I will never fly with them again."

Ulemper: "We had only an hour for our connection. Ordinarily, this is enough time. However we had to go through passport control during the connection and we almost missed our flight. When traveling internationally, this should be considered. Rome airport (FCO) could do a better job of managing passengers with quick connections. It was a mess."

Not only did we get a "free" meal, but it included white or red wine if desired. I felt like I was experiencing what flying used to be like in an earlier time."

Ulemper: "The flight was operated by Alitalia, so my bad review is about it: 1- they made us pay 75 euro for 4 extra kg on the luggage; 2- once on board we had to wait 45 minutes before leaving the airport; 3- there was no entertainment on the plane which looked like a very old plane; 4- they served us a tasteless sandwich and muffin(MEA flight serves a full meal) 5- the choice of drinks was poor: water, Coca cola, tea or coffee, no juices or alcohol; 6- we asked for water 3 times and the flight attendant never came back; Being an expensive flight I was expecting something more than a low coast flight company. VERY DISAPPOINTED."

Fordeler: "Plane in good condition with more than average roominess in economy class with accommodating crew, decent food, and entertainment."
Ulemper: "In Italy Alitalia was difficult to contact and failed to provide timely and complete information about changes to check in procedures, e-ticket number, and flight identification number changes. Web site clunky at best and telephone tree info all in Italian only. When I tried to check in on line only message was of a "problem" with the ticket. No way to get info even at airport until shortly before flight. Flight departed one hour late. My wife's foot room impeded by electronic control box under seat in front of her. In short, back office and online services poor but flight and plane ok. None the less, will not use Alitalia again due to back office problems."

Fordeler: "Wine was offered complimentary to the meal"
Ulemper: "Boarding process was a mess, flight was late due to the confusion. Crew took forever to collect trash after the in flight meal was over."

Fordeler: "Not too much. Standard flight. They had ok wine I guess."
Ulemper: "Ancient planes. Had to use proprietary headphones, I thought they stopped doing that. No USB. Screens seemed 20 years old. It's 2017!"

Fordeler: "Easy booking and boarding. Flights on-time very nice catching next flight in and hour and have to go through customs and change tefminals. Didnt feel extra anxiety about catching next plane"
Ulemper: "Our entire row of inflight entertainment was not working. It wasnt a huge deal but it would have been nice on an international flight LAX to Rome 11+hours. Also limited drink options. Water or cola from bottle and sm serving sizes. It would have been nice to have option of can or cup."

Fordeler: "The crew was great. Very attentive"
Ulemper: "No entertainment. Food was ok. Seats not comfortable for business class."

Fordeler: "Check-in was great both coming and going."
Ulemper: "Food was easily the worst I've ever had. Staff were courteous but not friendly on board. Boarding in Rome was a free for all. Seats were extremely cramped. Bathrooms were not kept clean. The coup de grace, probably not Alitalia's fault, but JFK"s , we sat on the terminal after we landed for 45 minutes waiting for a place to park the plane."

Ulemper: "Alitalia is a Bullshit company, we were late to our connection because of the air line, they told us the next flight is waiting for us, but they didn't... We got tickets to the next flight with no compensation and they lost our snowboard case."

Fordeler: "Did not misplace my suitcase as they did on my October 28,2016 going to Rome. That was very stressful!"
Ulemper: "Alitalia customer service not answering and updating information on misplaced luggage. They acknowledged the mail...that's about it!"

Fordeler: "Love the friendly crew and the great food and service"

Ulemper: "Purchased ticket through Kiwi. Never will use them again. EVER! The "E ticket" didnt have: Terminal Carrier i.e. Air Italia The flight numbers Any record or reference number the airline(s) could use. Could not purchase a bag and had to pay extra at the airport Whilst clearing security Air France pulled me out of line found me to be 1 killo over, and air Italia demanded another 75 euros. Not the first time this has happened. I pointed out numerous french people passing with very heavy bags and indeed helped several women lift 20+ kilo bags on the flight into the overhead bin on this flight and others. They all were french and never were they stopped with their heavy bags "Oh" the "security" guy said "I thought you were English!" "Not so" said this Irishman "And you are racist". To no avail and all part of Air france's business plan to charge the dreaded Estranger extra. Never again will I fly Air France. Id rather take a train, drive or even walk. Very bad experience start to finish and yes so very Air France; well Air Italia too.."

Fordeler: "Can't think of anything."
Ulemper: "The seats were the most uncomfortable my husband and I have ever experienced. The huge headrest forced us to sit bent in a C shape with our heads bent down, no way to sit normally and relax. It was pretty close to torture for a long flight. I just wanted to rip the thing off the back of the seat. I will never fly on a B777 again if I can help it. Its particularly rich when the captain comes on the address system and tells us to sit back and ENJOY the flight. Additionally, boarding started a full hour before scheduled departure, then the flight was delayed an additional 45 minutes while they waited for somebody's luggage. If you boarded early, you got to enjoy sitting there nearly 10 hours for an 8 hour flight."

Fordeler: "Landing in Rome. Hotel after missing connection flight."
Ulemper: "Delay of 2 HOURES cosed missing a connection flight to Tel Aviv. Next flighr to Tel aviv 36 houres later !!!"

Ulemper: "Same as above. I will never fly this airline again"

Fordeler: "Everything"

Fordeler: "Good in flight entertainment."
Ulemper: "Meals were small and below average."

Ulemper: "It was very long..."

Fordeler: "Pilot was doing good kob"
Ulemper: "Flight to Amsterdam was delayed"
