Not sure why the gate information would show "boarding" and then "gate closing" before anyone had actually started boarding. Was ultimately sat before the scheduled takeoff time, although takeoff was after the schedule. Favourable flying conditions allowed us to land 5 minutes early, although as there was another plane still sitting at our gate on arrival meant we were ultimately late to the gate (giving gate / disboarding times would be more honest than just the scheduled landing time). Somehow, even though there was a plane sitting at our gate on arrival, when we were allowed to taxi to the gate, there were apparently no ground staff there. What? Even though there was an incoming plane, they went elsewhere? Staff on the plane and the meal service were fine.

Bedre håndtering av kansellering, rebookinger med bedre alternativer. Bedre tatt hånd om etter en kansellering i form av oppgradering av klasse, sete, matservering. Ingen kompensasjon for ulempene før turen eller under turen.

Everything was seamless getting through the airports. One of my flights was delayed and they reassured us our connecting flights would wait and they did! Service and food were excellent. The only thing lacking was movie choices, fewer good options than other airlines.
This was a one hour trip before our main flight to LA so we didn’t expect much.
Loved it! Even better I had the whole row to myself!
SAS er i ferd med å bli håpløst utdatert for business reisende, dessverre. Man kaller det Plus og selger det inn som en business class, men det er jo bare tull... Reise fra CPH til Island var med Icelandair, full business og topp service, reise fra Reykjavik til Oslo, med SAS, var et svært gammelt fly, gamle og dårlige seter, fullt av mennesker som sild i tønne og dårlig mat. Mens flyet fra Oslo til Stavanger var nytt, alt var bedre men det burde vært motsatt; lengre distanser, bedre komfort, for fullt betalende passasjerer, men det tenker ikke SAS på. Jeg faser ut SAS fra nå av og vil fly mest mulig med andre selskap ut fra Stavanger, så det blir nok mer KLM fra nå av..

The beverage selection was finominal. The cleanliness of the plane and restrooms, although the handle for one of the restrooms fell off the door."

Most SAS planes are really nice and new. On this flight they had a problem and had to use one of their older planes. Fordeler: "The 7 hr trip to Copenhagen was rough. The seats are too close together. My knees hit the seat in front of me even without reclining. When the seat in front of me reclined the tv screen was 6” away from my face. It was next to impossible to get out of the seat."

Fordeler: "Boarding was easy, I'm a Star Alliance Gold member so was able to get on board first. There were significant delays leaving Dulles and our connection was tight, but SAS held the flight so I give them props for that."
Ulemper: "The crew was grumpy and unhelpful, but I can usually overlook that. What really got me was this: YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR BEER & WINE ON THIS INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT! Never in my 25 years of international travel have I seen this from a mainstream carrier. For this fact alone, I will never fly this airline again. You also have to pay to pick your seats in advance."

Ulemper: "Checkin was a disaster, girl was not aware of anything she was doing and after over ten minutes of explainatiin she still put me and my bags on a wrong flight. Lady at the boarding gate tried to help and finally managed to send me and my bag in the same flight. Even bigger disappointment was that I booked a business class seat and paid three times more money then a normal economy ticket, there wasn't any business class seat and all seats were occupied in the front rows. Staff was generally rude and not willing to help."

Ulemper: "You only get one free non-alcoholic drink on this flight and that's really stingy for a 7+ hour a long haul. Drinks should be free on a long haul, especially non-alcoholic ones. There aren't any free small snacks like chips or peanuts. You have to pay for everything and the menu is exorbitantly over priced. It's a cheap and insulting customer strategy. They can save a few bucks in overhead on each customer this way, but they are losing money in the long run because I'll never book with them again due to their tawdry actions. I doubt I am alone."
Fordeler: "The service was excellent. The food very good. Toilets inorder and clean, even just before Copenhagen. In Chicago i had to wait about 30 min tor a wheelchair. It seemed that noone wanted to go to termimal 5. A very nice young man finally came, he gave me frindly and excellent service. ALIS"

Also, Oslo is a new and beautiful airport with great options for meals and stores to wander around. Also, the airplane had huge windows to look out of with new dimmer technology as opposed to just a shade. Very cool! With a couple of small downsides, we would STILL definitely fly Norwegian."
Ulemper: "We gate checked a stroller but were unable to pick it up to use in Oslo which was a surprise as it went straight through from gate check to full check in through the layover... with a 3hr 45min layover, it could have been useful to have it for our infant to sleep. Leg room is tight. Small selection of new movies for entertainment when compared to other airlines and it would have been nice to know we could get complimentary drinks anytime during the flight, but they were only available for free during meal service unless you purchased additionally."

Ulemper: "Norwegian doesn't provide food or drinks and it wasn't clear at the time of purchasing a ticket. Norwegian airlines call center customer service rep wasn't able to provide a price of 1st checked-in bag and refered to the entity that sold a ticket."
Fordeler: "I was in the premium cabin and the crew was great, all smiles and excellent service. You could tell they were genuinely good people. It was an overwhelming positive experience and I was extremely satisfied."

They seemed upbeat which was the only positive thing about this whole trip. Plus I think the pilot stepped on it, cause I think travel time was less than what was planned (I might be missing taxiing time though, so not sure)."
Ulemper: "Well, I can't say I wasn't entirely expecting this. There was over an hour and half delay. Nothing announced. We were in the dark. The plane didn't arrive on time, nothing announced. Boarding was delayed, nothing announced. When boarding was complete, there was an indefinite delay that was only announced quite a bit later. Anyway, the whole experience, including naming Charleroi airport as "South Brussels" is not something I intend to repeat."

Fordeler: "If you are flying Iceland air it's for the great value, the friendly and courteous crew, and the chance to see the Icelandic landscape from the air. We did not try the food for sale."
Ulemper: "Boarding and transfers in Reykjavik can be quick and chaotic, leaving little to no time for the food purchases and bathroom stops you probably need. Also don't plan on having access to a large selection of current entertainment. Plan ahead."
Ulemper: "Very convenient flight itinerary on these two flight segments. All airlines should provide at minimum a small bottle of water at no charge as travelers are not allowed to bring fluids through airport security"

Ulemper: "the forced printing of my boarding pass which I didnt have overseas and couldn't use the app forcing my friend to print it out at work."
Fordeler: "Boarding was quick, amazingly enough space in overhead lockers for everyone's luggage, crew friendly, flight on time..Didn't have food and there was no entertainment."
Ulemper: "It was all fine."
Fordeler: "Cheap as chips flight, lovely crew, captain speaking appreciated (had flown Vueling a couple of weeks before and they had none of this except the cheapish flight). Stansted airport nice. Time of day of flight S on offer good for me."
Ulemper: "Add-on costs...though still added to a little less than alternative."
Fordeler: "First time on Ryanair. Probably ok if you are 25 and have no checked luggage. If it's only marginally more expensive, travel with another airline."
Ulemper: "Delayed on both sides. Boarding process started too late and was extremely inefficient. Roof was leaking during the flight."
Ulemper: "We departed an hour late. The crew was very unprofessional. The landing wasn't good. Kept the light on."
Fordeler: "Advertised price."
Ulemper: "Check-in was a nightmare. I was on international travel with no PC, only phone and Ipad. I downloaded their ap on the phone, as they do not have an Ipad version. After tedious set up of account, I went through and completed the check-in procedure the day before the flight. However, when I attempted to download my boarding pass, the ap failed. I went to the airport 3 hours early. No attendant to be found so that problem could be resolved. less than 1.5 hours before the flight time, and after standing in line for 1 agent, I was told I could not be checked in, because I did not have a boarding pass, and I would have to purchase one from a service desk (different airline was providing service). The service agent said the Ryanair ap should have worked, and called them to request a waiver on the charge. They refused. I had to go back to the gate desk in order to check in, and very nearly missed my flight. Never again!"
Fordeler: "The two seats next to me on the plane were vacant, so I was able to spread out and pretend I was in first class."
Ulemper: "They have you stand in line 30 mins before the flight. By the time you board the plane, you're stiff and unhappy."
Fordeler: "Fairly quick and efficient service"

Ulemper: "Beware! They will charge you 45 + pounds for each piece of luggage! Total chaos at the checkin counter."
