We were traveling with a baby and they put us in separate seats when we had booked the seats together, we actually paid for 3 seats but due to an emergency the 3rd person couldn’t come. During the booking the American Airlines agents were unprofessional and rude to us. They made our first flight with our new born really stressful. At least the flying attendants during flight made it up and were caring, Proffessional and over the top to make sure we were comfortable. I bad story with a happy ending.
Clean airplane with great staff
Alt fungerte meget bra. Crew var vennlige og opplagte, hadde fokus på jobben og hadde kontroll på oppgavene. Bare positivt å bemerke! Reiser mye med Finnair, og den gode opplevelsen er standard. Personalet får antagelig skolering og kan omgås passasjerene med vennlighet og respekt.
No in-flight refreshment apart from water/juice as standard. Seats were mediocre in comfort, legroom was barely sufficient.

Ulemper: "I purchased a ticket that included one checked bag but their system said I purchased a ticked which didn’t include any checked luggage and I had to pay $60 to check my bag. Very frustrating!"

However the airline delivered to my place the following morning. It was not an inconvenience to me as the baggage was delivered in a timely fashion. Thank you Finnair!"
Fordeler: "If you picked the wrong line then check in took 40 minutes, arrive early!"
Fordeler: "I loved the colors of the flight.light blue and green. Gave a peaceful ambience. The flight attendants were very courteous and smiling. Especially the women flight attendants. The food was excellent. It was interesting that the flight from Helsinki to Chicago served a Indian style dinner comprising of lentils, rice and chickpeas. I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. I liked the boarding as they were very strict about families with children and gave them priority before other passengers."
Ulemper: "I did not find too many indian films which I would have liked, especially in a flight because Indian movies are 3 hours long and help to pass the time quickly :). I would have liked more variety in the Hollywood movies as well. They mostly had much older films and hardly any of the new releases while Emirates flight had lot many more new releases and oscar winning movies. They served the Indian amul cheese which is not worthy of serving on a flight, and they could have served some better cheese."

Fordeler: "The employee at the checkin counter in Oslo set everything up for us regarding our wheelchair and walker. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She arranged for a pick up in Helsinki with the airport's crew. They helped us unload the plane and then had a personal accessible bus to take us from where we landed (outside of terminal) to the gate of our next departure. The crew were all extremely professional and efficient."
Ulemper: "The leg room is never enough on the long flights. The flight from Chicago to Helsinki at 10:00pm was not nearly as good as the flights from Oslo to Helsinki to Chicago. The crew was not as pleasant, the lights were not turned off until after 1:00 am and then turned on hours before the light "breakfast" was served."
Fordeler: "I liked very much that Finnair was waiting for the delayed plan from Stockholm. The stewardesses were nicely dressed."

Ulemper: "Experience was totally let down by the airport; nothing to blame the aircraft staff though. Avoid Helsinki airport like the plague for stopovers: bad signage, woeful information how to get to the city efficiently in English. HORRIBLE experience when trying to get lost property: you got to PAY for your initial email or pay top dollar just for a stupid and aggravating phone call!!! The number of exclamation marks is not exaggerated here. You can't even ask if they even have the item in their possession. Rarely had such a bad experience at an airport, and I travel a lot for work. This alone makes me think thrice about EVER getting Finnair again. Same company that manages the airport, so I'm giving this flight a bad review."

Ulemper: "Didn't appreciate the additional charge to select basic seats (not upgraded), not sure if justfly.com is affiliated with Kayak. I found it absurd but read reviews that if you don't select seats you might get bumped off your flight if it's oversold. I didn't take any chances so I paid the additional $29 and yet both my fiancee and I sat way apart. Arriving at the airport to check in, I saw options to select seats which made me upset even though there was nothing next to each other but way more options than online."
Fordeler: "Flight was operated by American and they really absolutely need to update their planes on the JFK-CDG route. It is the only airline that does not provide individual screens, the seats barely recline and the air quality on board on board lives a lot to be desired as the plane odor is just not good."

SAS er i ferd med å bli håpløst utdatert for business reisende, dessverre. Man kaller det Plus og selger det inn som en business class, men det er jo bare tull... Reise fra CPH til Island var med Icelandair, full business og topp service, reise fra Reykjavik til Oslo, med SAS, var et svært gammelt fly, gamle og dårlige seter, fullt av mennesker som sild i tønne og dårlig mat. Mens flyet fra Oslo til Stavanger var nytt, alt var bedre men det burde vært motsatt; lengre distanser, bedre komfort, for fullt betalende passasjerer, men det tenker ikke SAS på. Jeg faser ut SAS fra nå av og vil fly mest mulig med andre selskap ut fra Stavanger, så det blir nok mer KLM fra nå av..

Very good entertainment system with a not of great Nordic content (Swedish, Danish and Norwegian movies) Food was pretty good for an airplane. The service is excellent. I slept through the meal service, but they still made it a point to get me a meal when I woke up. Old fashioned tea and coffee service, with a steward going up and down the aisles with proper tea and coffee pots. Very professional, a high end feel to everything."

Ulemper: "My flight was cancelled and no one notified me! Instead, FlyUs.com placed me on a different SAS flight that had a 15 minute layover in Copenhagen. Needless to say, I would have missed the flight from Copenhagen. I realized the issue the day-of, spent hours on the phone trying to book a different flight through the customer services at FlyUs.com (stupid company!), and was finally rebooked by SAS on a different airline. When I called SAS directly, they immediately took care of the situation and handled it well, but I wasted an entire day dealing with FlyUs.com, waiting on confirmation for a flight that I was never going to receive. The whole experience was awful."

I was waiting for the flight at the OSLO airport waiting for the flight to LONDON. I had ample time to work on my computer. In the big room by the gate there was only one spot where I found three electrical sockets hanging from a pillar or post. To my dismay none worked. My plug would fall off from each. To document, I took the pictures of the useless sockets... I complained to the lady at the boarding desk (she left before the SAS staff moved in), she did not even care... This experience frustrated me and turned an otherwise pleasant trip into a bitter one. Please install some working sockets in your waiting room! Fordeler: "We traveled with our 11 month old and the crew was super helpful. It was an 8.5hr flight, we got a middle seat to give him space to play and the staff had a lot of fun engaging with him. They even gave him a couple of toys to play with. Food was just ok, but better than most airline meals I've had. We flew Premium Economy which was a comfortable experience as well."

Why did I have to pay for the checked luggage at all?"
Fordeler: "This was a direct Copenhagen to Boston flight run by SAS for Privatair. It was a small aircraft with only 70 total seats. That being said, the seats were comfortable, the service was wonderful, and the flight was smooth."
Ulemper: "Inflight entertainment consisted of an iPad with very limited options. Only one non-alcoholic drink included with dinner, and purchase price of wine was the highest I have ever seen on a flight."

Ulemper: "I makes down for food and entertainment but food could be bought and provided entertainment is not necessary for short flights with such good views of beautiful Norway."
Ulemper: "Tried THREE hours to get a phone picked up to cancel my flight the day before this scheduled flight. My friends booked with Expedia the exact itinerary and were able to reach a human and we're told that SAS always reimburses for cancellations. I finally emailed vayamas/kayak to cancel and 5 days later received a reply that there was no cancellation refund. Apparently Kayak provides a no communication/no refund policy. My travel companion had the opposite experience with Expedia."

Even bigger disappointment was that I booked a business class seat and paid three times more money then a normal economy ticket, there wasn't any business class seat and all seats were occupied in the front rows. Staff was generally rude and not willing to help."

Ulemper: "My biggest issue was that my seat didn't recline. 30C. It was quite unpleasant for a 5 hour flight with a large man pushing his seat farther back than it goes, in front of me. The other issue was that one gentleman flight attendant had terrible body odor. He mostly smelled like he'd been sweating, but his uniform was in desparate need of laundering ... particularly the pants. I started to mention to it with the friend that I was traveling with, and she knew what I was going to describe before I said it, despite us not talking during the flight (seats were split apart). I'd also mention - although there may not be anything that can be done - but boarding was a nightmare. A large Chicago flight had a boarding line crossing in front of our gate as we were called to get in line (no zones or row numbers). It was quite slow to be standing for 50 minutes and the entire plane settling into all rows at once."

Ulemper: "My seat was changed less than an hour before the flight so that I was no longer sitting with my wife. The person at the service desk explained that they substituted a smaller plane because the flight was not full. She said it was better than the flight being cancelled."

Ulemper: "I was very surprised, that I had to pay for my luggage. Didn’t have to do that flying from Boston to Munich, but on my way back."

Ulemper: "1. Be on time! Switching planes last minute is not ok. Missed our train and many people missed connecting flights and trains because flight got delayed and did not make up the time. 2. Very hot on the plane. No temperature control. 3. Any snacks or food for purchase only."

Ulemper: "They asked everybody to put fit carry-ons in measuring bin and it slowed boarding a lot. Some bags got stuck there, it was quite entertaining :)"

Ulemper: "Icelandair makes you think that the ticket is a real bargain but the luggage charges to check one bag per person cost as much as the ticket, then you have to pay for food and many seat choices."

Ulemper: "The amenities of flying Icelandair are more expensive than other airlines of a similar airfare. The cost to check a bag, the wifi charges and no complimentary food is just a tad steep."

Ulemper: "Boarding procee in Iceland for Saga class means you get called up first to wait in line for bus to plane. There you wait for others to check in the gate. Then you proceed to board the bus. Saga class was with everyone. By the time we got on board waiting to climb the stairs we were soaked from the rain. Our bags were marked priority yet to our dismay it took 20 minutes for our bags to come on the carosill after others started getting there bags. Glad We had those priority stickers as we were clearly in the last of the bunch. 0"

Ulemper: "The boarding was delayed by an hour, and people were just standing squeezed to the gate in the busy Reykjavik airport. The flight was rough at times, but I suppose that's a Mother Nature's fault. Food and drink (for purchase) was fine."
Fordeler: "Plane boarded and left mostly on schedule. The price was pretty incredible, I paid a fraction of what I expected based on previous trips to Europe."
Ulemper: "Arriving in Reykjavik, we needed to bus to the terminal. Weather was fine so it wasn't a big deal, but it involved additional waiting and the buses fill up quickly."
Fordeler: "The staff are good, but the plane is older and not very comfortable. Even if it is clean it is hard to tell. It’s the last flight to our area, but it as on time at 12:20a, and the wait for baggage was short."
Ulemper: "I was cold, but it was as a short flight, so I didn’t suffer long."

Ulemper: "My daughter booked this for me and went cheap, so partly my fault.. I never spend over five hours on a flight and got zero to eat; no peanuts, no anything.. food, snacks and drinks were way overpriced"
Fordeler: "Believe aircraft was about 2 hours out of Iceland when my 87 yo mother had and emergency being unconscious. The crew jump into action unbelievable and assisted with remarkable training. Thank GOD there was a MD on board from Germany also a paramedic. Crew,MD,Paramedic took over the situation and mother was recovered THANK GOD for the training your attendants are given or surely it would have been a death on board 3 hours until landing in Boston. I was surely a MIRACLE for me and my family. No words can express our the skills of those on board. I only suggestion is that more IV solution should be on board - the bottle was small - but certainly aided in her recovery. THANK YOU THANK YOU ICELAND AIR"
Fordeler: "Everything was great except the boarding process at KEF for outbound back to BOS."
Ulemper: "The boarding process at KEF for flight back to BOS was a mess. Only one attendant checking people in. The gate was so crowded it was ridiculous. The one attendant did not have any PA system so you couldn't hear any of her announcements. It was a long, hot, crowded wait to get onto the bus that brought us over to the plane. Not the best way to end our trip to Iceland."
Ulemper: "Same boarding delays. Airport gates have no seating and hard to hear announcements in other areas. Posting of gate info was late as well"
Fordeler: "Icelandair caters to children which is exceptional."
Ulemper: "There were just a few chairs for people to sit in while waiting to board. The boarding zones were crammed together so it was absolute chaos lining up to board. I was really surprised but the Icelandair personnel at the airport were extremely unfriendly. They seemed irritated when asked a question and did not smile."
Fordeler: "The flight attendents were nice and did a good job."
Ulemper: "The plan was small for a5 in a half hour flight. On top of that there was not even as much as a snack given and everything on the menu was way over priced. Just think it is in human to have people in the air taped that long and force them to pay extra on top of ticket price to have a snack. Very disappointed if i can help it i will not fly with them again. This is the 3 straight year i have so seems like we are being forced to go with them."
Ulemper: "Rejkjavik aiport is woefully undersized and understaffed to handle the volume of passengers connecting through to other destinations. Jam-packed waiting areas and walking aisles and long queues in restrooms and refreshment areas. A lovely building, but not a pleasant experience at all."
Fordeler: "It was on a very comfortable plane, tons of legroom, polite service, and budget friendly price."
Ulemper: "Boarding took forever, long lines, flight was an hour late. Not sure if this is due more to IcelandAir or the airport. Although it was a 6 hour long trip food was only available for purchase..and it was very expensive. Limited selection of entertainment (and seldom subtitles or translations in other languages) as well."
Fordeler: "Service on the plane was excellent."
Ulemper: "Reykjavik airport is rough! It is very crowded and boarding was chaotic."
Fordeler: "Love the leg room... nothing exceptional, but more than the other discount airlines. Free layover in Iceland. Kind and helpful staff. Includes one checked bag and in flight movies (not latest releases, but enough to get you there.)"
Ulemper: "Limited free drink choices, but you do get tea, coffee, and some soft drinks. Check the in-flight magazine to make sure you don't plan on a Coke and end up with 7Up. Boarding at KEF is a free for all, Iceland style. If the Scandinavians start lining up, get in line. Not that it matters much since seats are assigned and there is adequate carryon space due to free checked bag."
Fordeler: "It was a good flight overall. No major problems. Boarding in Keflavik was a bit chaotic, but that's just Keflavik - an airport too small for the volume of passengers. Iceland air is a good mid-level airline."
Ulemper: "I have problems with food not being served on international flights. That just bothers me."
Ulemper: "Our seats were reassigned at the last minute (upon boarding) to seats that couldn't recline at all. The people in front of us could recline their seats fully, giving us no room whatsoever to move. We had no room to even rest our heads on the table or cross our legs. It was very uncomfortable. Had I known the seating was so uncomfortable, I would not have flown this airline. These were not the seats we selected earlier, so we were taken by surprise at being given such terrible seats and offered no options. I will not fly this airline again."

Ulemper: "I was never sent an online check-in email, so I was assigned a last-row seat at the gate. Food options are very limited and expensive."
Ulemper: "the seats felt like they were made of stone, my butt was sore"
Ulemper: "too many flights landed at KEF at one time. the iceland customs could not handle all the flights at one time. it seems like the idea/plan to make iceland a primary stopover location was done without determining how many flights could descend on the terminal at one time. i was in a line that was almost all the way down the terminal. we truly were processed quickly - but it gave many around us a lot of stress over thinking they would miss their connecting flights. since i had done this before and the exact same thing happened (too many to process in too short a period of time) i reassured the people around us that icelandair holds the connecting flights until all people were processed. it gives a bad look to iceland and icelandair and i am sure could be remedied by changing some arrival/departure times. again, the idea of having iceland be a primary stopover to put them 'on the map' and glean the revenue from the potential travel is excellent, great marketing strategy - but is iceland air shooting them in the foot if they have implemented this plan without the infrastructure - please pass along to iceland- a country i really loved when i visited before this marketing plan!"

Ulemper: "shocked to see that no food was served on this long, transatlantic flight! boarding was difficult as there wasn't really a gate area at the airport. there was a massive crowd and lots of confusion."

Ulemper: "Could not find any electric power for my computer in terminal 5 Seats totally incomfortable, no good support for my back, less space for my long legs in this intercontinental flight than in the previous Geneva-Heathrow flight. Food far too greasy, no fruit, no vegetables. No electrical power for the computer, only for the phone. And the landing in Boston: the captain just "threw" the plane on the runway. I thought he had a lot of cross wind. Talked to him later. Told me this was the normal procedure ?? The crew: some are doing very well, with enthusiasm, some of them could do another job."
Ulemper: "40 minutes before landing I wanted to use the toilet but was refused because the seat belt lights were on. So I had to wait till landing. Wasn't really much turbulence at all."
Fordeler: "Friendly crew, flight on time, great food and snacks, good movie selection"
Ulemper: "Seats not too confortable, landed on time but got to the gate 45 mins after landing"

Ulemper: "They had no on-line check-in and I was assigned a middle seat and couldn't get it changed. For premium economy pricing, you would expect better."
Ulemper: "Not enough legroom. Seats with more room are priced 100€ more, as if we should be paying for being a bit taller. Again, too cold. One or two degrees up would have been comfortable. The entertainment system is a bit clumsy and has odd choices. SAS planes are better in that department for example."

Fordeler: "Very good hot food included - this is the British Airways I used to know! Not a big fan of the mayonnaise sandwiches, however..."
Ulemper: "The fact that my husband and I were not seated together - it should be straightforward that tickets booked together should be seated together! Also, this zone boarding system is really inefficient. Just board from the back of the plane in logical chunks!"

Fordeler: "The flight was very pleasant, with great service. The in-flight entertainment selection was good, food was tasty. The day we flew, this flight was maybe half-full in coach, which may not be great for BA, but fantastic for leg room! The attendants were lovely, and I particularly enjoyed the continuous water service through the flight, which kept me nicely hydrated. The ice-cream mid-way through movietime was a welcome treat!"
Ulemper: "On the flight from Barcelona to Boston we almost missed a connecting flight because of many steps to get from one plane to another an long lines at every One has to allow at least 3 hours to transfer from one flight to another"
Fordeler: "The new boarding process (just one general call, rather than a bunch of zones) was simple, quiet, and efficient."
Ulemper: "The seats were very uncomfortable. There were small ridges on the left and right side - perhaps to compensate for the very shallow seat depth. But these made it hard to sit more on one side of the seat than the other, something you'd want to do if you were sat next to someone who took up a good deal of armrest area. Media screens had a good selection but were unresponsive and had poor picture quality."

Ulemper: "Seats were not as nice as on Lufthansa premium economy and there was no option to buy a pass to the business class lounge (as there is with Lufthansa). The return flight plane had no extendable leg rest in the seat as I did in the first flight. This was disappointing."
Ulemper: "Wheel chair assistance was very very bad. Airport crew made my parents to walk around 2 miles while changing the gates in London airport."
Fordeler: "flight crew were very friendly and mostly helpful, except when they could not locate my meal, and i ended up getting about half of what the other diners got."
Ulemper: "boarding seems intent of creating class divisions. it may be useful for profitability, but it seems quite weird in today's world. food was significantly worse than the food on another flight i had taken the same day, delhi to london. seats are a bit janky and we had problems with the seat ahead reclining too much and not being able to be held upright."
Fordeler: "Did reasonably well for a large flight. Crew is courteous."
Ulemper: "The check-in ground crew does not appear knowledgeable nor cared for the details. We are a party of 5 with US and Canadian passports and Green cards which understandably the check-in process is not "standard." They should be more alert of the situation and help us along with the check-in process more appropriately instead of directly some of us one way and others another way and when pressed, they gave very unsatisfactory answers."
Ulemper: "Went to the wrong place and then had to have wheelchair service to get me to the gate on time! Which he did for which I am most grateful! Am not familiar with European customs for travel!"
Fordeler: "Once I was actually at a boarding person to be checked in, the process was quick"
Ulemper: "Announcement was made to all passengers inn rows 20-40 or so to line up, which we did. Then, we were told only priority passengers were to be boarding. Priority passengers asked where their linne was, and a BA crew member snappishly answered "where the sign says Priority". The sign wasn't able to be seen, and these passengers shouldn't have been faulted for BA's ineptness. After being checked in, I asked an another BA agent where to go. Upon arriving at the aircraft, I was rather frostily told "you're onn the wrong level" and pointed to the stairs. I let them know that I was on the 2nd level due to the direction of the BA staff. My seat space was reduced to a mere 12" when the passenger in front of me abruptly reclined his seat all the way back."
Fordeler: "Loved that entertainment available before take off and ended after taxiing. Liked that drinks and food were free. Would pick BA again"
Ulemper: "Tried to order kids food on website and couldn't figure out how to do it so the kids got adult food. Perhaps make it easier to order or give kids kids food as default."
Fordeler: "Luckily I got upgraded from an economy seat to a premium economy and what a difference in the experience! I got immediately greeted by a flight attendant and got offered a glass of water (real glass) followed by a warm towel. The seats were wider and had more leg room than in economy and reclined more. The food was delicious and served with real silverware. Complimentary blanket, a pillow, socks, toothpaste, toothbrush, ear plugs and a sleep mask ensured that I got a good few hours of sleep. I was definitely much more rested than I would have been in an economy seat and very grateful for the upgrade!"
Ulemper: "Since 1st flight was extremely delayed due to stupidity of staff unable to get head count of passengers, the BA system rebooked my 2nd flight which should hve not happened because I made it to my original flight prior to gate closing AND that flight was delayed anyways so I made it in plenty of time to make it yet my seat was taken from me and then boarding started. And I have to state WHY this BA flight was delayed - because they "had problem getting the catering on board" thus missed runway time. Anyways, since I was rebooked I went to my new gate, waited many hours to hve another issue, where they couldnt find my new seat in system and changed, and again flight was delayed this time due to having a flat tire... Common BA, seems your quality dropped 99%."
Ulemper: "Too many announcements over the intercom. Better to say 'hi' at the beginning and then only use the intercom to announce turbulence/etc."
Fordeler: "Everything was good on this flight. The staff were excellent, very professional, and were very helpful. When they heard about our plight at LHR Term. 5 when connecting to this flight, they were very considerate and offered to send in a report (still waiting for the result of this, no contact yet 6 days later). Again, the luggage space and lie-flat seats (Club World) and meals (except my gluten-free meal) were very good, as was entertainment and cleanliness of the plane and lavs. This flight was supposed to be delayed by two hours, but in the end, they managed to take off at the originally scheduled time. More good news: the flight was smooth and arrived on time and most importantly, safely. Luggage arrived quickly and in good condition on the carousel. BA is really good!"
Ulemper: "Lavs: Lavs were clean, which is always good, but there was no red/green availability lights on this aircraft, those would be helpful."

Ulemper: "Unfortunately the nice man at the bag drop off managed to give mark down that I was the owner of two bags, and my wife none. I asked specifically if my carry on bag was ok to bring into the plane, to which he said yes. Then as we get to the gate and boarding I have to argue with the boarding flight staff regarding my carry on. The final result, after being promised a additional cost of 35 usd( second bag) is That when i sit down in my seat I look at my bag tag and see that I’ve been charged 150 usd for my carry on bag that’s in addition to the 50 usd I payed at the bag drop off for our regular luggage. Happy? Don’t think so"
Ulemper: "We flew from Rome to JFK and arrived at 12:40 pm only to find out that our 3:30 pm flight had been cancelled a long time ago. No one had notified us of our new booking on a 9:10 flight to Boston. No one at American or British Airways could provide us with an earlier departure or compensate us to take alternative transportation. Our 9:10 flight was then delayed until 10:50 pm. We arrived in Boston at 12:02 am, 11 1/2 hours after our arrival at JFK from Rome. This was not a very friendly welcome home. We never would have booked such an extended delay as we only live 4 hours from New York City."
Fordeler: "One was great and one was not helpful and was condescending"
Fordeler: "The crew was very kind."
Ulemper: "There was an issue where someone had boarded and somehow taken my seat. I was asked to wait until the very end and then allowed in my seat once the passenger in my designated seat was asked to deboard the plane. I don't know how that could have happened."
Fordeler: "Pro: Those darn cookies are the bomb. Coffee was on point."
Ulemper: "Cons: The leg room was as bad as spirit. I was struggling for a while with my bag, and none of the flight attendants thought to help. Flight attendants ran into me a few times waking me up, and I wake up apologizing not them. Also, so darn painfully cold in the back of the cabin."
Fordeler: "Great boarding, crew and seating space"
Ulemper: "Bathroom line for some reason was always long. Entertainment via wifi was just ok. Older movies only. New movies on the tiny screens that come down every 4 rows or so."
Fordeler: "Liked that there were easily accessible power ports"

Ulemper: "Everything. Flights canceled due to "weather" but every other airline was flying to these locations and the customer service experience was miserable at best."
Fordeler: "Comfortable flight. Great communication from pilots, and the service was great."
Ulemper: "Very old fashioned plane, with one tv to watch a movie. I don't think I've flown on anything like that since the 90's."
Fordeler: "Nothing really, very upsetting start of a vacation."
Ulemper: "The layover in Boston was an hour or so, but the miscommunication between American Airlines and Iberia was such, that my luggage never left the US. I am very upset cause Iberia did not even provided any good ground help in Lisbon - Portugal, with the most rude personnel I ever had to deal with that was actually annoyed I was complaining they lost my luggage, they offer no assisatance."
Fordeler: "This was a sold out flight, however, the flight crew remained professional, friendly and efficient, and we departed and arrived on schedule. The seating was the same as every other airline - not roomy enough. On the bright side, I've had more than a few meals on international flights with six or more other airlines and this was the best meal service so far. Dinner was very tasty!"

Fordeler: "United airlines canceled a flight last minute that I needed in order to get to my best friends' wedding on time, I usually fly AA but the United flights were slightly cheaper at the time. The options United gave me would have had me missing the wedding, AA had more flights that allowed me to make it in time, considering it was booked 12 hours before take-off, it was decently reasonable and left on time and got in early (imagine that, United). Thank you American Airlines, again!"

Ulemper: "The connecting flight was with a partnership airline but I was not notified of this before I got on my flight. When I went to the information desk they had no idea where my flight was, or if it even existed. I had to wait for the Hainan Airlines booths to open for a different flight and then ask them. I waited over an hour in total and was then afraid I would miss my connecting flight."
Fordeler: "The entertainment was updated and refreshing."
Ulemper: "Snacks was only pretzel"
Fordeler: "Crew made up time to get us in to Boston nearly on time."
Ulemper: "1 hour delay in LA without an explanation. 20 minute delay in Boston, on arrival, because the jet bridge did not fully extend to the plane."
Fordeler: "I made it home."
Ulemper: "No entertainment on the flight, no plugs so my phone died, as I almost missed this flight due to my first leg being late, so I was very bored on this plane."
Ulemper: "3 hours delay, because the airplane had not been tested as required in a previous International flight. We had to change plane which caused a lot of caos regarding the transfer of luggages and food. We sat on the plane forever with a lot of confusion."
Ulemper: "Had to book a flight to Providence and then rent a car to drive to Boston since there were no other available flights to Boston today."
Fordeler: "Expected turbulence and crew was honest about it and even changed the flight path to Logan to avoid it. It was bumpy but not that bad. free soft drinks and cookies :)"
Ulemper: "I don't understand why the carryon limitation can't be better enforced. I watched several people put multiple bags in the overhead compartments and nothing under their seats, yet those in boarding groups 3 & 4 often are required to check their baggage."
Fordeler: "Overall it was a fine flight we were delayed an hour boarding. But this is good because apparently they didn't have a place for us to unload in Boston and we would rather be walking around the terminal in Chicago than sitting on the plane on the runway"
Fordeler: "Both my flights were slightly early (a plus for me, might not be for all) and I had no issues or complaints."

Ulemper: "Cancelled flight last minute and I was put on another flight hours later; with a 1.5 hour delay too; no credit or voucher provided"
Fordeler: "the crew handled the lengthy delay as well as they could, seems like they didn't have any information either which is ridiculous."
Ulemper: "We boarded the plane at 1:30 for a 2:00 flight, there was a filter out in one of the three bathrooms; the option to take a 45 min flight without use of the restrooms was there, we were told to use the restroom if we needed to before the flight so everyone did... then we continued to sit on the ground for two hours. After two hours we were allowed to get off the plane, 20 minutes later back onto the plane, backed away from the gate and then pulled into a different gate and were told to get back off the plane. At this point we were given no info or direction but to go talk to special services if we want to re-book a different flight (sold out until at the earliest 8:15pm). After about an hour they announce they are re-boarding the original plane, takes another 45 minutes to board the plane, then we are told two separate issues caused this lengthy delay one was a filter in the bathroom and the other was a thermostat... seems like very basic standard maintenance issues that could have been avoided with routine checks. We were offered zero compensation, the trip took over 6 hours in all to fly from Philadelphia PA to Boston MA; a trip I could have driven in less time. I continue to have issues with American Airlines and "mechanical" delays, the last flight i was on From Charlotte to Baltimore was delayed an hour due to a strap in the cargo area. I don't understand the logic behind the decisions made to hold the full plane over 5 hours instead of taking a 45 minute flight, but I will say the crew was very apologetic and handled the situation well."
