Førts flyen blir 20 minutter forsinket . Etterpå når vi sitte i flyen og skule fly hadde mye bråk som vi visste har teknisk problem . Så etterpå vi måte og sitte i flyen og venter cirka 2 timer . Det var veldig dømt og sitte i en fly og vente 2 timer ?!! Og hele tida vi følger ikke trygg siden vi hørte om flyen har teknisk problem. Vi forventet bytte flyen ikke tar samme fly som har teknisk problem . Og siden vi hadde en langs tur PGA flyen hadde problem vi fått ikke noe ekstra service som matt ellers litt drikke . Det var veldig dumt . Derfor vi følte veldig dårlig og det var veldig dårlig service !!! Mvh Salar Abdipour Elham Soroori .

Ulemper: "Economy area flight Frankfurt - Boston 26th October. Tall, well dressed, middle aged Italian gentleman beside me on aisle seat talking on his phone from boarding until we started to accelerate for takeoff. I had to ask him to shut his phone off twice. Staff not looking out for phone use. Then he was receiving text as we landed in Boston and never even bothered to put on his seat belt. Again staff did not notice. I travel a lot and normally air crew notice these things. Booked to carry skis via the Lufthansa US call center and was told there was a special offer and they were free for US bound flights. This was great news as I had assumed I had to pay. On bag check-in the associate told me they had booked them as golf clubs not skis. She also did not agree skis were free and spent 15 minutes reading the details of the contract and talking with an associate. She was polite but firm about it and I had to pay Euro100 to get them checked in."

Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

Ulemper: "Flight attendants served too many drinks (hard liquor) to the passenger sitting in front of me, and continued serving him even after he was visibly drunk. When preparing for landing, one attendant gave an annoyed answer when I asked him to remind the same passenger to set his seatback in vertical position."

I’m a bigger guy and I had wiggle room and could fully stretch my legs in economy plus. We were very happy with this flight.

Je vous suis reconnaissant d'avoir retardé le départ du vol Helsinki-Genève pour nous permettre d’attraper la correspondance malgré le retard de le première partie du voyage (Oslo-Helsinki). L'enregistrement des bagages au départ d'Oslo a été très problématique et désorganisé.

everything was good

We were traveling with a baby and they put us in separate seats when we had booked the seats together, we actually paid for 3 seats but due to an emergency the 3rd person couldn’t come. During the booking the American Airlines agents were unprofessional and rude to us. They made our first flight with our new born really stressful. At least the flying attendants during flight made it up and were caring, Proffessional and over the top to make sure we were comfortable. I bad story with a happy ending.

Clean airplane with great staff

Alt fungerte meget bra. Crew var vennlige og opplagte, hadde fokus på jobben og hadde kontroll på oppgavene. Bare positivt å bemerke! Reiser mye med Finnair, og den gode opplevelsen er standard. Personalet får antagelig skolering og kan omgås passasjerene med vennlighet og respekt.

It was a small Regional plane. Not much to expect

Ulemper: "Finnair used to be a good airline but it has deteriorated significantly. The flights are expensive but uncomfortable. The airline uses every opportunity to save money and charges through the nose for everything. The morale of the crew is low."
Ulemper: "Plane was late taking off and almost missed my next connection. Due to landing late my luggage did not make it on make it on my flight. However the airline delivered to my place the following morning. It was not an inconvenience to me as the baggage was delivered in a timely fashion. Thank you Finnair!"
Fordeler: "If you picked the wrong line then check in took 40 minutes, arrive early!"
Fordeler: "I loved the colors of the flight.light blue and green. Gave a peaceful ambience. The flight attendants were very courteous and smiling. Especially the women flight attendants. The food was excellent. It was interesting that the flight from Helsinki to Chicago served a Indian style dinner comprising of lentils, rice and chickpeas. I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. I liked the boarding as they were very strict about families with children and gave them priority before other passengers."
Ulemper: "I did not find too many indian films which I would have liked, especially in a flight because Indian movies are 3 hours long and help to pass the time quickly :). I would have liked more variety in the Hollywood movies as well. They mostly had much older films and hardly any of the new releases while Emirates flight had lot many more new releases and oscar winning movies. They served the Indian amul cheese which is not worthy of serving on a flight, and they could have served some better cheese."

Ulemper: "Just slightly hard when laying down on the seat to sleep"
Fordeler: "The employee at the checkin counter in Oslo set everything up for us regarding our wheelchair and walker. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She arranged for a pick up in Helsinki with the airport's crew. They helped us unload the plane and then had a personal accessible bus to take us from where we landed (outside of terminal) to the gate of our next departure. The crew were all extremely professional and efficient."
Ulemper: "The leg room is never enough on the long flights. The flight from Chicago to Helsinki at 10:00pm was not nearly as good as the flights from Oslo to Helsinki to Chicago. The crew was not as pleasant, the lights were not turned off until after 1:00 am and then turned on hours before the light "breakfast" was served."

Ulemper: "Experience was totally let down by the airport; nothing to blame the aircraft staff though. Avoid Helsinki airport like the plague for stopovers: bad signage, woeful information how to get to the city efficiently in English. HORRIBLE experience when trying to get lost property: you got to PAY for your initial email or pay top dollar just for a stupid and aggravating phone call!!! The number of exclamation marks is not exaggerated here. You can't even ask if they even have the item in their possession. Rarely had such a bad experience at an airport, and I travel a lot for work. This alone makes me think thrice about EVER getting Finnair again. Same company that manages the airport, so I'm giving this flight a bad review."

Ulemper: "Nonchalant crew on the way back, I asked if they had any snacks half way into the flight as I didn't eat dinner, I went to the galley and the head of customer service heard my request, looked at me and just carried on reading his paper leaving a flight attendant to offer me a small bag of pretzels , which she had to search for. Very poor"

Ulemper: "Didn't appreciate the additional charge to select basic seats (not upgraded), not sure if justfly.com is affiliated with Kayak. I found it absurd but read reviews that if you don't select seats you might get bumped off your flight if it's oversold. I didn't take any chances so I paid the additional $29 and yet both my fiancee and I sat way apart. Arriving at the airport to check in, I saw options to select seats which made me upset even though there was nothing next to each other but way more options than online."
Fordeler: "Flight was operated by American and they really absolutely need to update their planes on the JFK-CDG route. It is the only airline that does not provide individual screens, the seats barely recline and the air quality on board on board lives a lot to be desired as the plane odor is just not good."

Ulemper: "We asked them to pay for a car instead of a hotel so we could drive. But they refused. They could have booked two rooms since there are four of us but we all have to share one room. They could have warned us that there really was no dinner instead of promising dinner."

Ulemper: "Boarding in Iceland was a horror show - no one knew what was going on - very disorganized. Flight crew was unfriendly and the service was non-existent. We will never take Icelandic Air again."
Ulemper: "This is not a comment on Icelandair but more a comment of the connection from our Reykjavik to Boston then Boston home. We had a 2 hr layover. You would think that is enough time? We got off the plane and had customs. The line was impossibly long to get to the kiosks then after the kiosks another impossibly long line to speak to an agent. Perhaps something that scans your boarding pass for your next flight and directs you to a line that will process you more quickly to help you make that flight. Customs ate up most of that 2 hrs. then we had to grab our luggage, recheck it in, go through security again. Going through security we had bought beer in the duty free shop in Munich which was put into a sealed bag (required). Security had to take this beer though a special process (guess what - this process was backed up and they were not going to help you make that connection). We once again had to run to our gate barely making our connection. We are starving (Icelandair - no food and they give no time to get any at the last connection) and no time at this airport to get any because the process to connect was so long."

Hard to get in touch with anyone to ask a question. Tried 800# - was #65! in queue. Tried facebook messenger & didn't get a reply for over a week!! Company customer service is nonexistent!!! Flight crew was great. Won't be using them again; not worth the savings. Will book direct with Delta or Swiss Air in the future, it's worth the extra $ to have quality customer service & 2 meals & a snack!!"
Ulemper: "My first flight was canceled due to lack of available aircraft. My connecting flight was then 2 1/2 hours late due to a mechanical issue. That made me miss my flight to Denver. The fact that they had a flight scheduled that didn’t have an aircraft available is very poor planning and caused a great deal of issues"

Ulemper: "As the same flight from Boston to Reykjavik (same seats going there and back) the complaint was the seats, it was like sitting on wooden boards (used pillows to sit on for 5 hours) and no room for a small bag at our feet."

Boarding at KEF is a free for all, Iceland style. If the Scandinavians start lining up, get in line. Not that it matters much since seats are assigned and there is adequate carryon space due to free checked bag."

Ulemper: "We had a 9 hour delay overnight in the Oslo Airport where there was no explanation as to why. Technical difficulties isn't a clear explanation and 9 hours of technical difficulties, which also happened to earlier Oslo flights and would happen to Copenhagen and Glasgow flights the next day, is more than a technical difficulty. It is a breakdown of a plane or several in an overbooked and maxed out fleet that is overburdened, so call it that and be clear. There was far too small compensation (a $10US meal voucher in Oslo buys you nothing and the further $20 for what amounts to a night on the floor is pretty poor) for this very significant delay as well. The airline did not apologise or offer anything for this significant inconvenience to its customers. I was actually in better shape than most because I had purposely planned a longer layover in Reykjavik, but did not get to use to see some sights, because of this. Just know that this is a risk with Icelandair before making plans."

Received incorrect information from uniformed employees when signs were not found about the flight at the wrong gate..There was no waiting area for my flight, only a line. We were bussed to a remote area of the field to board our flight from the tarmac. The flight was late in leaving. Crew was nice once we were on board, good plane. Cold in row 19, boiling hot near forward lavatories. Stressful, horrible experience."

Ulemper: "Witnessed onboard dispute between passenger and a minor passenger over the child's instrument case which was in the older passengers' overhead storage. Also seated next to large family group was difficult."
Ulemper: "For a 5 1/2 hour flight, they could at least throw you a bag of peanuts or pretzels. Was very disappointed in the service."

HORRIBLE boarding experience, with no management of lines or explanation of 60-minute delay in boarding. HORRIBLE connection experience in Boston, with no representative at designated desk to recheck luggage for flight onward. Our party of 10 people wound up scattered all over BOS Logan, with 3 of us making it back to FLL intact, 4 losing their bags and 3 others left behind -- all due to poor communication with arriving passengers. DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE unless you are prepared for inhospitable service, tight seating, and a DREADFUL boarding and landing process."
Fordeler: "We were delayed about an hour and half, waited on boarding line, which were not controlled and people kept cutting in, buses to tarmac in freezing cold, no Agent at baggage recheck with short connection. They crew turn off air way too early in the cabin. People are in winter gear and cabin temperature is not comfortable. On the way to Iceland, it was too warm on the plane for the entire duration."
Fordeler: "I fly a LOT, mostly on American Airlines (I am gold, almost platinum status) and the flight/service and food on this flight was above and beyond anything I've ever experienced on American! Keep up the great work! LOVED receiving the bottle of water upon boarding. Excellent touch!"

Ulemper: "The temperature on the flight to Iceland was excessively warm. I am typically a person who enjoys the warmer temperatures but most passengers were uncomfortable with the temperature. This being the only exception to our experience with our flights to Iceland and Norway."

Fordeler: "Getting to the airport via train was very easy. Airport was large and had a lot of accommodations. Flight was smooth and quick. Entertainment options were plentiful."
Ulemper: "The boarding process was somewhat confusing. We had trouble finding the bag drop and there were not many employees around to ask. Getting on the bus to get to the plane was very crowded. The headphone jack in my husband's seat did not work so we shared earbuds through my jack."

Ulemper: "5 hour flight, I would love some pretzels or chips or something. The airport in Reykjavik was extremely overcrowded. They have 2 flights, 1 to Bos, 1 to NYC, leaving at the same time at gates right next to each other. It was chaotic and miserable. We left about 35 minutes late."

Ulemper: "We paid for premium comfort seating which translated into a three seat row with the middle seat empty. No priority seating. No access to lounge. Entertainment system not working, but no recent movies anyway. Would not fly Icelandair again"

Ulemper: "This is my fourth flight on Iceland air and my forth flight that was late. Luckily I always build time in my schedule to accommodate such delays."

Ulemper: "Perhaps it's an industry-wide trend, but the flights are expensive enough to include meals; having to pay extra for alcohol is reasonable, but charging for a sandwich seems excessive. More troubling, however, is that I had to pay extra (a rather steep fee of 240 Euro) for my extra-heavy luggage, and the airline lost my bag. This fee, at the very least, should be reimbursed."
Ulemper: "The flight was leaving late and we were informed that it was fine, that we would make our connection to Jetblue flight to RDU! That was not the case, however! That was the last flight to RDU that day and no hotel rooms were available in Boston area!!! So we had to spend the night on cots in the terminal! That sucks!!!"

Ulemper: "Unfortunately the nice man at the bag drop off managed to give mark down that I was the owner of two bags, and my wife none. I asked specifically if my carry on bag was ok to bring into the plane, to which he said yes. Then as we get to the gate and boarding I have to argue with the boarding flight staff regarding my carry on. The final result, after being promised a additional cost of 35 usd( second bag) is That when i sit down in my seat I look at my bag tag and see that I’ve been charged 150 usd for my carry on bag that’s in addition to the 50 usd I payed at the bag drop off for our regular luggage. Happy? Don’t think so"

Ulemper: "We flew from Rome to JFK and arrived at 12:40 pm only to find out that our 3:30 pm flight had been cancelled a long time ago. No one had notified us of our new booking on a 9:10 flight to Boston. No one at American or British Airways could provide us with an earlier departure or compensate us to take alternative transportation. Our 9:10 flight was then delayed until 10:50 pm. We arrived in Boston at 12:02 am, 11 1/2 hours after our arrival at JFK from Rome. This was not a very friendly welcome home. We never would have booked such an extended delay as we only live 4 hours from New York City."

I am very upset cause Iberia did not even provided any good ground help in Lisbon - Portugal, with the most rude personnel I ever had to deal with that was actually annoyed I was complaining they lost my luggage, they offer no assisatance."

Fordeler: "United airlines canceled a flight last minute that I needed in order to get to my best friends' wedding on time, I usually fly AA but the United flights were slightly cheaper at the time. The options United gave me would have had me missing the wedding, AA had more flights that allowed me to make it in time, considering it was booked 12 hours before take-off, it was decently reasonable and left on time and got in early (imagine that, United). Thank you American Airlines, again!"
Ulemper: "The entertainment system in my seat was broken. Was a bummer since we added a extra hour ground hold for weather."
Ulemper: "not enough space for legs, no food, flight attendants not especially nice, a long delay, ..."

Ulemper: "The connecting flight was with a partnership airline but I was not notified of this before I got on my flight. When I went to the information desk they had no idea where my flight was, or if it even existed. I had to wait for the Hainan Airlines booths to open for a different flight and then ask them. I waited over an hour in total and was then afraid I would miss my connecting flight."
Fordeler: "Crew made up time to get us in to Boston nearly on time."
Ulemper: "1 hour delay in LA without an explanation. 20 minute delay in Boston, on arrival, because the jet bridge did not fully extend to the plane."

Ulemper: "No entertainment on the flight, no plugs so my phone died, as I almost missed this flight due to my first leg being late, so I was very bored on this plane."
Ulemper: "3 hours delay, because the airplane had not been tested as required in a previous International flight. We had to change plane which caused a lot of caos regarding the transfer of luggages and food. We sat on the plane forever with a lot of confusion."
Fordeler: "Safe, smooth, on time flight."
Ulemper: "Older plane. This was my return trip and the pane I took to my destination was much nicer. I feel like I should get a discount for an older plane."
Ulemper: "Had to book a flight to Providence and then rent a car to drive to Boston since there were no other available flights to Boston today."

Ulemper: "The plane was freezing, then it was boiling hot. There was no happy medium. Never had this issue on a plane. The crew would not shut up. They talked endlessly on the speakers, which were blown out and had some sort of buzzing feedback which made listening unbearable. I hated every minute of this flight and was so glad to be off the plane."
Ulemper: "I don't understand why the carryon limitation can't be better enforced. I watched several people put multiple bags in the overhead compartments and nothing under their seats, yet those in boarding groups 3 & 4 often are required to check their baggage."
Fordeler: "Overall it was a fine flight we were delayed an hour boarding. But this is good because apparently they didn't have a place for us to unload in Boston and we would rather be walking around the terminal in Chicago than sitting on the plane on the runway"
Ulemper: "Cancelled flight last minute and I was put on another flight hours later; with a 1.5 hour delay too; no credit or voucher provided"

Fordeler: "the crew handled the lengthy delay as well as they could, seems like they didn't have any information either which is ridiculous."
Ulemper: "We boarded the plane at 1:30 for a 2:00 flight, there was a filter out in one of the three bathrooms; the option to take a 45 min flight without use of the restrooms was there, we were told to use the restroom if we needed to before the flight so everyone did... then we continued to sit on the ground for two hours. After two hours we were allowed to get off the plane, 20 minutes later back onto the plane, backed away from the gate and then pulled into a different gate and were told to get back off the plane. At this point we were given no info or direction but to go talk to special services if we want to re-book a different flight (sold out until at the earliest 8:15pm). After about an hour they announce they are re-boarding the original plane, takes another 45 minutes to board the plane, then we are told two separate issues caused this lengthy delay one was a filter in the bathroom and the other was a thermostat... seems like very basic standard maintenance issues that could have been avoided with routine checks. We were offered zero compensation, the trip took over 6 hours in all to fly from Philadelphia PA to Boston MA; a trip I could have driven in less time. I continue to have issues with American Airlines and "mechanical" delays, the last flight i was on From Charlotte to Baltimore was delayed an hour due to a strap in the cargo area. I don't understand the logic behind the decisions made to hold the full plane over 5 hours instead of taking a 45 minute flight, but I will say the crew was very apologetic and handled the situation well."
