Ulemper: "Poor timing - no reason for a 40 minute delay at take off (plane was fully boarded in time) Old aircraft, shabby, dirty and cramped seats. Coming from my connecting flight from Barcelona, I could clearly tell the different in the quality (and cleanliness) of the aircrafts."

Bonus points for the Beemster cheese sandwich (I was totally disappointed when they served the food, but more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cheese - I even bought some afterwards, from the Albert Heijn just outside the security area)."

Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."

Ulemper: "Our flight was canceled from Amsterdam to Bordeaux and did not receive any direction and had to find alternate flights for ourselves with the personal expense of using our own cell phones. Then our luggage lost for 3 days. Not happy! We ended up flying from Toronto to Paris then to Bordeaux. Lost my upgrade money for seats. Now have to deal with KLM for refund!"
Fordeler: "Staff at Schipol airport were lovely and very helpful. Cabin crew were friendly and efficient. On board snack was nice."
Ulemper: "Elbow room is a little bit awkward and I didn't get to sit next to my fiance WE will still definitely recommend KLM though!"
Fordeler: "Efficiency and speed of boarding was acceptable. I have no complaints about that aspect. The Comfort+ seats were worth the upgrade, pretty comfortable and reasonable legroom unless you have a big carry on stowed under the seat in front of you."
Ulemper: "The first announcement they made to all of us in the economy section was thay they did not have any headphones for anyone but business class. I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. If that isn't bad enough midway through my nine hour flight my monitor went out and would not turn back on."
Ulemper: "The fact that there are different airline carriers for one flight is hard. In my second flight they made me check a bag which was considered a carry on during my first flight"

Fordeler: "Flight crew on flight from Amsterdam to Cape Town were probably the most friendly and enthusiastic I've experienced and no, they were not all young. The plane was spotless throughout the flight. They were always coming around with water and juice and they genuinely seemed to care about all the passengers. The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."
Ulemper: "The Entertainment images on the screens promoted Beauty and the Beast, Batman Lego movie but neither were on the system! Food quality was rubbish"

Priority entrance was open, but then another 20-25 min in the closed waiting area, some kind of hoarder. Only then the mixture of all passengers was let through the sleeve to the plane. Why bother about Priority? Plane arrive in NYC 35 min late. Many transit passengers worried about their connecting flights."

Ulemper: "Sitting behind me plus the seat across from that in center was an adult with two children going to summer camp in US. There were 40 kids and several counselors on this flight. These two kids were much younger (4 or 5yrs) than any others going to camp. One of the kids could not sit still. The adult behind me sometimes held her in her lap which resulted in pushing on my seatback. While in her own seat the child did not have her seat belt on. Eventually the girl began using her arm rests on either side of the aisle to swing herself. I finally mentioned this and the lack of seat belt fastening to F.A. who said "They're from Latvia. These Eastern Europeans don't think about things the way you and I do." The child was blocking the aisle at times and the F.A. did nothing."
Ulemper: "We didn't get from Helsinki to Dublin we were redirect via Paris."

Ulemper: "It was n't their fault but My wife's passport expired in 91 days from beginning travel so they wouldn't let us on the plane to Italy."
Fordeler: "Plane was nice, new, every seat had an entertainment system. Crew was very nice and did their best to accommodate my needing a gluten free meal. *This was an Iberia plane, not an American Airlines plane."
Ulemper: "The Iberia web site, and web app were not functioning properly. I want able to save any of my personal information such as phone number or known traveler number. I was unable to select a gluten free meal prior to the flight since the web app and website were not working. I tried calleding Iberia customer support over 10 different times and was never able to speak with a representative. The customer support prior to the flight was non-existent."
Fordeler: "The dinner tray was actually one of the best I ever had in a plane (except maybe for the bread). Flight was comfortable overall, I was just a little too hot, with no individual air vent."
Ulemper: "A little too hot, and no WI-FI. Other than that, great flight."

Ulemper: "Who doesn't turn off the plane lights at night inside the cabin? Especially when you're feeling late at night? Didn't post gate until very last minute…LHR..Then it said boarding immediately. Nowhere to get water. Hurriedly Boarded plane to find out we have the sit there an hour. Girl next to me was so childish Loud mouth complaining because she couldn't sit next to her bf."
Fordeler: "Flight left late but reached early. Plane we comfortable and had clean toilets"
Fordeler: "Direct from San Diego to Heathrow."
Ulemper: "The seats are very small--and I am a small woman--so the flight felt cramped. The food was just ordinary airline food--little taste. Coffee served essentially black--no offer of milk or cream. Take it or leave it-- Crew helpful if you could flag someone down. Most irritating: could not check in online for some unexplained reason and required to arrive two hours early. BA does no subscribe to TSA so spent time in a line unnecessarily. AND, then the crew arrived over an hour late so the flight left at least an hour late. The crew explained that their downtown bus did not arrive and they could not arrange one. Given the close proximity to the airport, this should have been a 10 minute cab ride."
Ulemper: "Seats given away that we selected six months ago even though we checked in days early. Four family members all over plane."
Fordeler: "Updated gate changes sent to phone was a life saver!"
Fordeler: "My son and I requested gluten free meals when we reserved our tickets. When the meal was being served the crew had NO record of our meals needing to be gluten free. So we had to get one of the meals that was being offered. This was unfortunate and they made no other attempts to rectify the situation. Also, many TV monitors were malfunctioning, including mine which did not have clear sound. It was jumbled and not even clear enough to make out words in a movie or song on the radio channels. Fordeler: "The energy of the crew was upbeat despite the lock of enertainment they tried their best by accommodating my various wishes."
Ulemper: "They were no snacks available except the ones that we had to pay for - which in fact I thought was a bit pretentious towards the passengers."
Fordeler: "Other than the fact that it's a direct flight from jfk to Helsinki, there's not much else to like about it"
Ulemper: "Even though we paid extra for comfort seats, the seats were extremely uncomfortable! Not just the lack of sufficient leg room (especially when the person in front reclined) but most importantly the quality of the cushions. They were like cardboard and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. We were not able to sleep at all due to the discomfort! Additionally, they lost my luggage. It has been more than 24 hrs since I landed and I still haven't heard anything from them as to where my luggage was, when I should expect it why it still hasn't been delivered. Overall, a terrible experience."

Ulemper: "Long flight with no screens on the back of the seats with personal entertainment options. Furthermore, I had a middle seat and my shoulders kept knocking into my neighbors. Worst of all, my seat didn't incline as far as the people on either side of me. Sleeping is already hard on a plane, and this made it way worse...not to mention my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me the whole time."
Fordeler: "I have a BA - Gold card- BA lounge was good."
Ulemper: "Comfort- Plans are Old, Entertainments is Worst. BAD BAD BAD."

Ulemper: "Terrible wait to depart. Altered my pick up plans in Barcelona and made me incur in extra expenses"

Fordeler: "British Airways has greatly improved their customer service, the flight attendants (usually a bit gruff) were instead very kind and helpful to myself and all the passengers I saw them interact with. It really makes the flight experience better."

The seats were cramped (coming from someone average height) and the middle and window seats have a combined under the seat compartment so you don't feel like you have personal space. I wish the breakfast was more substantial, but other than that it was a wonderful flight and I would definitely take it again!"

Ulemper: "They split me and my wife on porpuse to force me to buy the option to choose my seating. The leg space is tiny and the chairs won't recline so it's super uncomfortable. Flight times are shitty. Te leave early in the morning so you can barely get some sleep at night. Nor on the plane. They don't any serve food or even water and let you dry up. You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."

Fordeler: "I called flight network and was put on hold for about five minutes, simply to get an answer to the question of the baggage allowance - I didn’t see it anywhere when booking the wiz air ticket. They told me that I was slowed one checked baggage and one cabin baggage that would be charged about €40 if it was over 30 kilos (which it was not). At the airport wizz air said that I had chosen online booking (which I had not) and therefore I had to pay a €30 fee. Also they said I had no checked baggage allowance and was charged an additional €150 !!!!"
Ulemper: "That I wa given false information that cost me a huge amount of money, And that the booking page does not make it easy to add baggage information."
Fordeler: "Everything went to plan and we were very happy"

Ulemper: "My seat hadn't been cleaned prooerly before I got there and if I hadn't done it myself, I would have someone else's chocolate all over the seat of my trousers. Also, the bathroom floors were really gross, to the point I had to roll uo the legs of my trousers so they didn't get wet when I needed to use the toilet."
Fordeler: "Got me to where I was going and the airline stewards were polite and helpful."
Ulemper: "Like all budget airlines, Wizzair has low fares and anything else is a nickel and dime game. When did a cup of coffee cost anything? Is this the norm? I would not know. I travel with a musical instrument (guitar) in a soft case. Easily fits in overhead bin compartments. The airline would not allow me to carry it on (only recourse was to purchase a second seat for it). I was forced to pay a baggage fee (around $70 u.s.dollars). For what? To pray it doesn't come back to me damaged? To their credit, it did not..."

Ulemper: "The borsing from terminal 1 is should be highlight The man in the check in and bording wad not nice at all. He didn't answer any question. They took our hand bag. We couldn't take it to the plan and no one explaon why."

Ulemper: "There was a problem with their website that was out of our control, that didn’t allow us to print boarding passes and we were charged at the airport even though we had proof we tried and were not able through no fault of our own"
Ulemper: "The flight was delayed and there was even no information about it. Gate number was changed after boarding time and we didn’t hear any appologize not even receive some meal vouchers or food on board. We arrived more then 1 hour later- I can not evalute this as a good service."
Ulemper: "You have to inform the customers, that company needs you to have a visa"
Ulemper: "No air conditioned 2 hours late Poor ground service"

Ulemper: "Both flights were Delaid. It was unorganized in every point, felt like chaos. Ryanair sells same services for cheaper price, so I thought it was overpriced."
Fordeler: "I asked for a cup of water for my child and they gave me a bottled water. Then they charged me 2.50 euros. Their credit card processing machine was not working properly, which was frustrating: the flight attendant got frustrated and had to come back again until she can process my payment."
Ulemper: "I didn't check in, in advance as when logging on to the airline I needed a code. I didn't have the code as I was searching emails for the booking agent and airline when it was (as I later discovered) sent by another name. This resulted in £30 to check in going out and 40 euros back. Desk staff were unhelpful bordering on rude (the cabin staff were fine in that respect. I wasn't the only one at least 20 people queuing on the return with the same issue. Additionally on the delay out they advised food could be brought at the rear of the plane then inflight ran out so some people ate twice while by the time I got to my hotel they had stopped serving food and I had not eaten in the airport sorting out the boarding passes."
Fordeler: "Flight was delayed. I missed my train home to Ipswich. Long journey home ver late at night"
Ulemper: "It a good option, a good price, i will fly again"
Fordeler: "Comfortable seats. I chose premium price so no issues at check-in. Staff was fantastic! This was my first WIZZ Air flight. It will not be my last!"

Ulemper: "the fact the crew arrived to the gate after the planned boarding time causing us to stand too long on the stairways. check in via the app (using iphone 6) was a failure. i was certain i booked with extra luggage - at the check in i was told i didn't. from the reservation confirmation it is not clear what i paid for & there are no means to contact you - email, on line chat - you know the regular things every company today use to proivde customer services which is not only "give us you money". too bad this is WIZZ Air"
Ulemper: "Altough I bought prioroty boarding, the ground handling staff did not take this into account so everybody boarded the same time."

A delay caused us to wait on the bus for a good half an hour which was somewhat uncomfy, and the plane was very warm. couldn't take my shoulder bag on as well even though I could've put it under the chair, which I feel like is a sneaky way of making you pay for the speedy boarding thing."
Fordeler: "Wizz air has great deals and you will get to your destination which is a effective way to travel. Unfortunately the seats are not always comfortable and everything else costs extras for food, seat choice, bags, water, drinks, or anything else you’d desire during flight."
Ulemper: "The seats don’t lean back and do not have a lot of cushion."

Ulemper: "These discount flights from Luton are packed with obnoxious, drunken Brits going on holiday in Hungary. In future, I will fly from Heathrow. Besides, by the time one pays all the little incidental fees at WizzAir, the cost is about the same as the legacy carriers."

It will make Budapest a more enjoyable time before you touchdown."
Ulemper: "Arrived at the airport 2 hours before departure, I was not aware you can't checkin at the airport and need to pay 30 euros for it. The treatment and the attitude from the personnel at the check in counter was rude, they were short and unkind The staff member in charge of charging for checking was incredibly slow, there were 4 people in line including me and it took her 40 minutes to charge me the 30 euros This was after I already stood in line for the ticket for another 30 mins I almost missed my flight due to their poor handling"

Fordeler: "They charged me for not checking in 3 hrs prior and didn't really make that clear before when I purchased the ticket. Even if they did, I never seen a airline do that. It's a borderline scam. Then the flight attendant continued to swipe my card when it was declining since I had restrictions on it. In which in return had my card shut off. Never will I fly Wizz Air again."

Ulemper: "They charge extra for everything. First off you will get charged 50 euros if you don't print out a boarding pass before arriving at the airport. Then you will be charged if you want to pick a seat or carry on a bag. You will be put on a bus to get to the plane then climb stairs to board. It takes forever to claim your bag."
Fordeler: "The price was cheap, as long as you don't add any extras (like choosing your seat)."
Ulemper: "You need to check in before you arrive at the airport otherwise you'll be charged FOR CHECKING IN. Also apparently it is normal for passengers to line up at the gate an hour before boarding, apparently because there is not enough overhead space for everyone. So unless you pay extra (no surprise there) to board early, you'll be standing in line for a good hour. I like a cheap flight as much as the next guy but Ryanair just takes it too far."

Ulemper: "-we paid extra for priority boarding and did go through the line first to board the shuttle to the plane but then they had everyone else from the overbooked plane crowded like sardines into the same shuttle. It was a waste of money. -traveling to Rome on Ryanair we took samsonite carry on luggage onto the plane with no problems. Leaving Rome we were told to recheck our luggage size. The wheels stick out a little and they made us pay 100 Euros to check our bags. Once on the plane we saw many passengers with luggage and bags much larger than our own and did not have to pay to have them checked. We were the only Americans on the plane. -The seats do not recline and are at a 90 degree angle which is very uncomfortable for a 3 hour flight. -the crew traveling to Rome was very rude. -the seats were dirty with food and crumbs before I sat down and there was trash and food on the floor. It is as if the plane is not cleaned routinely."

In very fine print, the ticket you think you paid for online is not valid to get a boarding pass at the airport unless you visit another website prior to going to the airport. If you do what I did, which is arrive expecting to be handed a boarding pass, you will be extorted for 50€ because they cut off your ability to visit the required online website. Total scam. This should be illegal. Buyer beware. Kayak did not know about this scam."

Ulemper: "Awful experience. Could not print boarding passes online and tried to pull them up at the airport, but there was no internet connection. Staff was incredibly rude and tried to make us pay $50 to print on site. Finally downloaded the passes (which, by the way, we had to obtain at least 24 hrs in advance - an easy email to miss). "Priority boarding" (also paid extra for) was a joke. Everyone had to get on a bus to arrive at the plane, and no order was kept, so it was basically a free-for-all to board the plane (lots of flying elbows). As a result, the overhead space by our seats (second row) was filled and we had to put our bags much further back (again defeating the purpose of "priority boarding"). Upon arrival to our destination, there was zero indication that our checked bag would be at completely different terminal. It took going through lost and found and 2 information folks to find the correct baggage claim area (and another go through security). All in all, a terrible experience. Not worth the extra $$ we may have saved. AVOID!!!"
Fordeler: "Price was very low. That said, if luxury travel is your thing this is not for you. For a short flight, as long as you pay attention to their roles about baggage sizes and the cost of extras, they can save you a lot of money. They were on time and well-run, a big improvement over the last time I flew them (10yrs ago)."

Ulemper: "-- boarding process is terrible with very long lines in all Ryanair. -- not enough room for the allowed luggage, and this masses the aircraft -- other that EU people cannot use mobile boarding pass and must print it, which is stressful for flying away from home/office for more than 4 days, and with no airport kiosk to print it - some people were really stressed by the threat to pay 47$ for a flight that costs less than that, just since they could not print the pass in the hotel."
Ulemper: "Tardiness! I have taken 2 different flights and BOTH were late! Also, the terminal is located a large distance from the main terminal AND finally, you r not told your gate number until less than an hour before. UNACCEPTABLE. I do not want to wander and shop in the stores and restaurants. I want to go directly to my gate and sit and read or text. The baggage limit is a giant money grabber as well. You folks are gouging your customers."

Fordeler: "I was made to pay for my carry on bag ostensibly because it was too large. The person ahead of me and the person behind me in the line had the same size bag and were not charged for their bags. The employee definitely had an anti-american attitude. I never want to fly on this airline again. Boarding and disembarking from the plane was like the great wildebeest migration on the Serengeti. No thank you."
Ulemper: "2 days before our flight we received an e-mail telling us to pay for our bag or we would have an excessive charge. Also, if we didn't print off our boarding pass we would pay a 17 euro fee for each ticket. It's a bit hard to print things while on vacation. This airline is LAME."
Fordeler: "Was pleasantly surprised by their efficiency and comfort/leg room on plane. Plenty of carry on overhead space and good meal options for purchase."

Ulemper: "They checked bags unnecessarily and charged high fees, a complete rip off, not customer service friendly at all (agents). During the flight they made so many announcements and then sold many things constantly from credit cards to food, duty free. Sooooo many announcements, forget about closing your eyes. Seats don't recline either at all! Overall like a herd of cattle forget comfort."
