I late 1 min and they did not let me in, was suppose to buy ither tickets. It was no any info about 30 min check in. No refund, no help, I’m injured can’t wall fast or run.
I and my family got treated in an unfairly way upon check in! It was my first ever time to travel with Ryanair even though I travel 35 to 40 trips a year. I printed all paper for my trip from Dubai to London to Leeds and York in UK and then all paper for my trip to Italy incluyding PCR tests, hotels and trains. However, I couldnt check in online with confirmation email I received from Kayyak so I thought its ok I can just go to Ryanair desk on arrival to airport to check in. On arrival to Ryanair desk, the lady I spoke to wasnt professional and in fact was very rude. The minute she knew I didnt check in online she looked at me and asked me to pay £55 each to check in and when I asked her nicely to check with her supervisor if anything can be done to reduce charges she said to me "I'm the manager today and nothing you can do otherthan paying the £55 for each one of you!". I had to pay £275 for the 5 of us and when I said to her I'll send a complaint about this she said I dont care I dont work for Ryanair!. The delay she caused us to check in made us not making it to plane ontime and that made the situation even worst. I had to pay another 1100 euro on airfrance to make it to Rome. Ulemper: "Jeg har ikke fått til å bestille koffert til tilbake turen.? Min datter som også skal reise fikk det heller ikke til? Er det noe man bestiller når mann sjekker inn for hjemreise?"
Fordeler: "Once we boarded, we had to wait 45 minutes to take off. Apparently, there was a problem w/ air traffic control, but no one said anything until about 25 minutes of waiting."
Ulemper: "The flight crew in the cabin were very unfriendly and not the least bit helpful."
Ulemper: "The plane left very late and we landed 12.30 am"

Fordeler: "I slept on the plane so I wasn’t aware of a lot during the flight."
Ulemper: "The lights stayed on the whole flight, seats were cramped, seats didn’t recline back, had to wait outside in the cold while everyone was lined up. Boarded the plane from both the front at the back. How does that even make sense if someone sits at the front and they’re boarded from the back?"
Ulemper: "Terrible customer service."
Ulemper: "Have to take the bus from aircraft to terminal."
Fordeler: "The flight seemed quick"

Ulemper: "Can't choose seats without a fee"
Fordeler: "The crew did hand us some paper towels when I asked for it."
Ulemper: "No tv and boarding was poor because it wasn't clear for someone that are new flyers. We also had to go outside to board and it was raining. No towels to dry off."
Fordeler: "It was on time."
Ulemper: "A bottle of water is expensive and by the time you pay all the fees, Ryanair is no longer a low cost option."
Fordeler: "The food options were pretty good."
Ulemper: "The seats didn't move back at all!!!"
Ulemper: "All ok"
Fordeler: "Got me to Rome."
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed. Had us standing in line for an extra 45 minutes. In adequate seating in the airport. The seats on the plane are extremely uncomfortable."
Fordeler: "Crew was friendly. Boarding was easy. Coffee was good."
Ulemper: "Minimal leg room. No where to put books or magazines."
Fordeler: "Still have not left London"
Fordeler: "Good price, so one can't complain too much."
Ulemper: "The seats are really uncomfortable and all the drink options have an extra charge thought none look appealing."
Fordeler: "The flight left on-time. The plane had 2 entrances so that helped with boarding."
Ulemper: "Seats didn't recline. No entertainment of any kind."
Fordeler: "Too small of seats"
Fordeler: "The crew was cordial."
Ulemper: "Takeoff was delayed by 1 hour due to what seemed like a totally preventable clerical error (in pairing a piece of checked luggage and a passenger). This delay reduced our transit options on arrival and also inconvenienced our host. The flight was overheated and uncomfortable. At the freight-level prices, I wasn't expecting food or entertainment, and I was aware the flight would be full, but I was expecting at the least a functional temperature control or effort to use it. Especially during the hour we idled on the tarmac prior to takeoff."

Ulemper: "We had a 9:15 am flight, we had bought one 15kg luggage for check in beforehand and we each had our own carry on (group of us 3) given that we had an early flight and it took us over an hour to get to our airport we had very limited time to get through check in and security to board our plane. Upon access to our boarding gate they would not let us in due to the size of 2 of our carry on. We understand it is policy for them to fit into the carry on fitment test in order for it to be free so we were then directed to pay extra for our carry on and have them checked in. By this time it was 8:40am, the person in charge for checking in luggage said it was closed and to let the boarding agents know that we can get through. Although we told them this (lots of going back and forth wasting more time) the boarding agent said it didn't matter and we needed some sort of proof that they said it was ok. We had no idea what to do then since they wouldn't let us check in our carry on nor get through the boarding gate & pretty much getting brushed off whenever we tried to ask if there were any other options. Finally by 8:50 we decided to take out some items and carried them. Through the security line we see a lady with a carry on almost twice the size of ours! Very frustrated with how things were dealt with considering they knew our plane was about to depart, our experience was a complete nightmare & will most likely not be flying with Ryanair again"
Fordeler: "* allowed to board from front and rear of the plane * boarding was ok because i paid for priority. otherwise it would have bee chaotic to say the least * good looking and femenine flight attendants"
Ulemper: "* seats are way too small and non-reclinable * overall, this airline is an absolute chaos * this airline is the definition of cheap. they have ads on the seats, they sell you everything from peantus to cheap perfumes which are of course "on sale" and for a "limited time only". * for a moment i thought they were going to play the guitar and pass around a hat for donations. yes. that cheap"
Fordeler: "Cheap flights mean nothing for comfortable!!!!"

Fordeler: "Flight was smooth, plane was comfortable, staff very nice"
Ulemper: "I did not appreciate having to obsess for weeks about the luggage restrictions and whether we met them; the fact that we had to arrive with a printed boarding pass in hand. -- when you are traveling that is not easy. The flight turned out to be just fine, but I was expecting to be hit with another charge right up to the moment we got on the plane. Were we just lucky?"
Fordeler: "I liked the price."
Ulemper: "I understand no meal on a 3 hour flight. However no water was offered. Also don't understand the check in fee. Had to go to desk anyway for visa check."
Ulemper: "Paid for priority boarding and reserved 1st row seats to be as stress free as possible. They had a priority line and a regular line and took both lines at the same time and herded us onto a bus. I ended up getting on the plane after 30 people who didn't pay for priority and finding room for luggage was a mess. You have to jump out of your seat upon arrival to try and gettting back to your luggage. Just know that Ryan Air is a cattle car. Seats are small and padding is long gone. I frankly expected that, but didn't anticipate the priority fee being a fraud."
Fordeler: "It's a cheap flight and I was only traveling with a carry on."
Ulemper: "I don't understand the mandatory online check-in. While traveling you don't always have wifi and it can complicate check-in. I paid 50 Euros to check-in at the airport. Boarding can also be a little chaotic between priority and other. It's not worth it to buy priority, it doesn't make much of a difference."
Fordeler: "They didn't lose my luggage"
Ulemper: "I was told I could not use my pillow for take-off, landing and the majority of the in flight. I broke my neck years ago and I need the pillow for neck support especially for takeoff and landings which are always the most painful part. ( Didn't help that the pilot had rough decent and a violent touchdow on landing). I just truly am baffled as to why I was not allowed to use a pillow? We are not talking about some large bed pillow we are talking about a small pillow that takes up no room and is specifically made for flying. I tried using my water bottle as neck support but it was no luck. Flying is already painful enough and to not be allowed to use a pillow which helps to support the neck is truly agregious. I really don't know what to say on why this wasn't allowed but I hope this issue is solved with upper management so the next person with such a problem will Never have to go through this. As for I, I will never use Ryanair again. Truly disappointing."

Ulemper: "We had a RT from Rome to Athens. When we returned we arrived at 11pm with a flight at 6am. I had intended to go to a hotel 0.2 mile away, but when we got there and I found out I had to pay a min $50 fee to the cab to leave the airport, I balked. We considered just waiting it out in the airport; until midnight when they suddenly cleared the airport of all the people waiting for transfers and had everyone wait outside on the sidewalk (no seating or anything). I was in shorts and it was 45F. Sigh. Both going to and coming from Athens boarding was more like a riot. I was told it was because Italians were hot blooded. Whatever. I awaited bloodshed. My mother is 73 and we had asked for assistance with boarding. We waited as people filled the hall, surrounded the podium, and slowly were shoved on board, and still no wheelchair or assistance. We kept being told to calm as the gate closed and the departure time passed. Eventually a very nice man got mom loaded like cargo and it was kind of fun, but I didn't get the impression that the airport or Ryanair were a particularly well oiled machine. As usual, arm + leg for baggage. No free drinks and teh entertainment was a non stop cavalcade of sales from the overhead of everything from perfume to lottery tickets. If I had a long trip in a city and wanted to take a short jump to a Ryanair city with my skivvies in my purse, this is a great airline. It's crappy in every way, but cheap. But, if you want a suitcase or food or a seat that doesn't worry you about it's cleanliness and give you leg cramps for weeks, pony up for the extra."

Ulemper: "Seats don't recline, extra charges on bags and boarding passes and the website is not clear enough to prepare people for this. some attendants in Rome on our way out were very rude. They charged us then made us feel dumb. I think they deal with a lot of unhappy people and this could be fixed by simply improving website/check in clarity."
Fordeler: "The seats were fairly descent and comfy. More leg more then I expected."

Ulemper: "Delayed by more than 5 hours so we were starving, exhausted, and arrived st our destination at 3 am. The worst!!!!!"
