The fact that I had to pay an extra $75 to check-in my luggage was extremely disappointing as I purchased an Economy ticket online and was told that I had an Economy "light" ticket instead. This was the case when departing from Newark to Rome at the start of my trip- they required an extra $75 for that flight as well in order to check my bag. For $1,259.97 I did NOT purchase a "light" ticket as I knew I would need to check my suitcase. I expect a reimbursement of $150 for my extra cost. Check-in line was slow. Would have been helpful to have more agents. Everyone was very kind and helpful and the flight was short and easy.

Ulemper: "Swiss Air allowed us to book a flight with 45 minutes to connect. First flight came in a few mixtures late, but then we had to wait our long turn to deplane, get on bus and wait for it to fill up with all slower passengers, drive to terminal, make it through passport control, take train to other terminal, and run 20 gates down where they were looking for us. We made it with 1 minute to spare from takeoff. They knew our bags were connecting and they made it. If they could've expedited our passage with a club car it would have been excellent."

Worst international aircraft I've ever experienced. Recommend upgrading before selling any more seats."

Ulemper: "They lost my bag for 6 days. It was an absolute horrible experience. There was a disconnect between their outsourced baggage tracer company and Swiss. Will NEVER fly again."

Ulemper: "I ordered in advance 4 seats for my family, paid 100$ to SWISS 19/10/16.Boarding crew refused to give us the seats sold to us.The family was divided into 3 and 1.Only after my strong refusal, the seats were were granted.During the dispute about the provision of already purchased seats, SWISS crew member threatened to call the police. We entered the plane last.Our seats not were ready and we were forced to do it all alone.Rudeness and unprofessionalism of SWISS crew.The end of the vacation was spoiled. For what I paid to SWISS 100$ in advance(10 monthes)? I believe, if SWISS could not provide the paid service as expected, SWISS must return the money(100$) and apologize. Nobody apologized in Zurich, threatened to invite the police. Bad crew, bad service."
Fordeler: "We were very impressed by our flight with Swiss. The staff speaks impeccable English, there is much more leg room than on flights with American companies, and it is so pleasant to get pillows, blankets, headphones, drinks (including wine), snacks and 2 meals on our international flight and not feel nickle and dimed the way we do now on domestic flights."
Fordeler: "Flight was overbooked so we were offered a cash incentive to volunteer to wait for the next flight, which we accepted. Boarding staff were great."

Ulemper: "I was supposed to put my backpack into "bulky baggage". I couldn't find it. When I got on the flight one of the attendants yelled at me for having my bag. Also the signage was incorrect where we had to go thru with our boarding pass. So I stood in a couple of lines that didn't work."

Fordeler: "Staff was very friendly and presentable. The cabin was very nice. The entertainment screens were nicer than any other airlines I have seen. It was a short flight, but so they didn't serve food, but they offered water and chocolate, which was a nice touch."
Ulemper: "The boarding process seemed disorganized. If someone leans their chair back, they are sitting right in your lap."

The bathroom wasn’t super clean

Last minute gate change at Charles de Gaulle, required me to walk further to alternate gate for my flight to Punta Cana.

Good cabin crew, Wi-Fi availability al through my trip.

Wrong advice was given by AF counter for the boarding by asking me to exit airport and then enter again , otherwise was ok .

The de-planing process could have been better in Buenos Aires - it took a long time before the aero bridge was connected - not the fault of Air France..

Hyggelige og effektive ansatte. Derimot er flyene til og fra Oslo alltid forsinket og i vår tilfelle var det på 25 minutter. I tillegg, er kabinene på enkelte fly delvis utdaterte, smart å sjekke på forhold hva slags fly du skal fly med. Ellers er det er svært bra selskap som jeg anbefaler å bruke.

Ulemper: "Awoke to find ill man laying on floor in aisle next to me with oxygen. Shortly after... Passenger in seat near man on floor (diabetic but no one tells us anything) needs to lay across four seats with oxygen for heart issues for remainder of trip with staff and doctor on board nearby. Nevdr informed what was happening, never offered to move our seats or move iIl passengers. Glad all turned out ok. Could have given them more privacy and better informed other passengers."

Ulemper: "Air France is not a low fare airlines, I had to pay 225 USD against 3 luggages which is not acceptable. We should have the right for one luggage per ticket as all other airlines. If I knew this will happen, I wouldn’t use Air France and this will be the last time I buy a ticket on Air France"

Ulemper: "Seats were tight and got a bit uncomfortable. This was a long flight. Could use a much better cushion."

Ulemper: "The flight was delayed. We were told that it was just a half an hour delay by the man that was informing us of the delay and then we were then told by a woman that it was going to be over an hour. We weren’t told any specifics of why the plane was delayed, other than: “ the engineers are looking at the issue now”. We received messages saying that the flight was cancelled but then we were told to ignore that. We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

And this is not the first time hearing same story, Air France definitely needs to disinfect the plane more thoroughly. Media center is outdated, touch screen isn’t working well, felt being punched in head every time when ppl behind you tries to touch the screen!"

Ulemper: "At one point during the flight I took a video out of my window with my camera, a member of the cabin crew barked at me in French. In bewilderment I asked her in English to repeat herself and she sarcastically repeated what she had said, in French, I asked for her to speak in English (which she had done to me previously on this Paris to London flight) yet again she scolded me in French. I was left absolutely none the wiser and it left a bad taste in my mouth."
