Complaint I booked seating with Qatar which was confirmed, credit card billed. But arrival I learned seats not assigned to wife and myself

They didn’t announce priority boarding at all. Needed to walk up and check at gate

The airport staff of Qatar airlines was UNFRIENDLY and UNHELPFUL. They all acted like we were bothering them. They gave no help in moving from one station to another. In general they gave an extremely bad first impression of Qatar airlines!!

I will sue the Emirates airlines and Dubai airport definitely won’t do any connections in this airport and won’t use this airlines again No clue about professionalism, attitude problems, no communication skills , no languages speakers

Ulemper: "The boarding crew at the gate did not say anything while weighing the carry on bag. I was ask to go to another person who issued me check in baggage sticker and told me to hand over your baggage to a person inside. At last he mentioned to not put any valuables in that bag. My carry on bag was just 1lb extra and the first person could have told me right away and I would have thrown away chocolates and brought down the weight to permissible limit. In general passenger do carry valuable stuff in carry on bag. I had to follow whatever I was told."

As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."

Ulemper: "Both the flights were delayed. No accommodation was offered. With two little kids we planned and even payed more to travel with this airline. Overall, experience was big disappointment. Our expectations were much higher than what we experienced."
Ulemper: "I've never flown Emirates and boarding section of the trip was very confusing. There was no audible instructions and they used flip-boards to indicate which group should be boarding. It was very difficult to see the flip-boards since the attendants holding them up were around 5'2". All was well once i got on the plane."
Ulemper: "The bus ride took over 10 mins. Why are flights to South Asia and other developing countries not given boarding via the bridge? Horribly long bus ride at DXB for flight to DEL."
Ulemper: "I requested the waiter(Asian) to serve me a non-egg breakfast if there were any remaining. He curtly told me that if I had not pre-booked the non-egg breakfast he could not provide me. Few minutes later I made the same request to another waitress and she quickly provided me the non-egg breakfast."

Ulemper: "Emirates flight took me and my mom to Milan(Italy) on issued Dubai Boarding pass."

Ulemper: "The online site didn't let us allocate seats even before 48 hours of schedule flight timings. Complimentary seats were allocated badly. Even when contacted with airline staff they didn't pass on the right information. We found on airport counter that exists seats opened before opening the airline counter at the airports whereas we are told that it would be allocated at the airport counter only. Misleaded at Dubai by airline staff that airport counter would open 3 hours before flight departure whereas we found and told at counter it was opened 48 hours before flight departure. Faced lots of inconvenience in allocation of complimentary seats. I speak with other co-passengers in the flight and found single complimentary aisle seats were allocared to passengers. They same opportunity was not extend to others having more than 1 seats in the flight."
Ulemper: "Not having an aisle seat made it very difficult for my handicapped husband to get in and out of his seat. We had to wait for our neighbors to step out of their seat and take advantage to do the same. Felt very claustrophobic. Service was not good, we rang the bell several times to get some help and no one came to our assistance and we gave up after that. The crew told us they had run out of some juices that we would have liked."
Fordeler: "Loved the Emirates experience as always, esp the in-flight experience (incl food) and entertainment."
Ulemper: "Captain's announcements in the flights were also either not loud enough or not intelligible."
Fordeler: "For starters, the seats were decently comfortable. They were wide, and offered generous legroom. The food was good: an unbelievable improvement from the previous flight (I recommend the chicken). The ICE system was impeccable. It had a wide selection of movies, TV shows, and games as well as access to the news. However, the flight's greatest perk my have been the compassionate crew. They were very helpful and friendly. They offered many accommodations, like a pizza and photo, all for free. Overall, the flight went very well."
Ulemper: "Although I enjoyed the flight, the only bad part was the boarding process. To start off, the departure in Milan was delayed for about 45 minutes. Also, when boarding finally began, the line was extremely long and moved very slowly. That was the only event that marred the flight to JFK."

Fordeler: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Ulemper: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."

Fordeler: "Generally good standard, nothing to sit about but there was a selection of recent and older films and TV, OK food and fairly comfortable seats."
Ulemper: "While the food was ok, there were some odd omissions from the vegetarian meals that sometimes made them seem smaller or worse value compared to the non-veggie options. Still better than I've had on some other airlines though."
Fordeler: "In my way to Dubai, I asked the gentleman not to put me in the middle, when I get in found myself in a middle row middle seat. Food choices chicken, steak, and stuffed zucchini all are nasty. Also, I was told that business class luggage comes out first that wasn't true on both leg of the trip. Also, I wasn't told that I have a lounge to hang out until the boarding time. In my way back it was same exact food menu service is mediocre at best very demanding flight attendants. Also the luggage came out towards the end . I told my friend I travelled with that this would be my last time to use Emirates airline"

Ulemper: "Worst ever airline in the world charged me for Cary on bag $430 for weight 8.7kg from Oslo Norway to adiss ababa Ethiopia I recommend no one has to fly with Turkish airline poor customer service"
Fordeler: "We missed the connection because the Istanbul airport is a silent airport and no announcement were made for boarding."
Ulemper: "Announcement from crew or reach out to people in front of gate would help. Also, the staff at Istanbu airport is so rude and have no respect for customers."
Ulemper: "We were not allowed to board our connecting flight and are stranded currently at the Istanbul airport and had to book our next flight with indigo as the staff closed the boarding ahead of time even though we were on time. Lot of shouting and crying by other passengers happening for the same reason."

Ulemper: "I will never forget Turkish airlines again. They stole our money. We were at our flight on time but they wouldn't let us board. They then said we were no shows and cancelled all our remaining flights with no refund. This ended up costing us around $3000. We don't have this kind of money and I don't know how we will pay rent next month."
Fordeler: "The planets and stars we're aligned to provide an optimal trip. Price was a huge determinant for me...$800 RT Houston to Delhi just can't be beat. And, their arrival time into Delhi is so early (5: 20 am) that customs and immigration is a breeze."

Fordeler: "Probably best economy class service and amenities and timings."
Fordeler: "The seats have more room. The food is good. The in-flight entertainment is great. The cabin crew is wonderful."

Even after disembarking the crew outside sent us on a wild goose chase. Airline representatives should be informed and helpful, which was not the case. Insufficient helping of food. Poor quality of wine and Vodka."

Fordeler: "The seats are not as luxurious as the international. They do not recline that much and are not pods. No surprise as that is similar to the US. But it was only a 3 hour flight so was fine. Food was same as first trip, solid.. Staff was very friendly."
Ulemper: "Flight was delayed 2.5 hours. They did not communicate at all the reason. Takeoff was supposed to be 8.30pm, didn’t take off until 11pm. Sat on the tarmac for over an hour and the crew or pilot did not say a word. The beverage service again was lacking compared to other international business class flights I’ve taken."
Ulemper: "Delhi International Airport: Unhelpful representatives at both: Baggage Claim and at Operations center."

Ulemper: "Pack a meal and don’t rely on the airport at Istanbul for a grab and go meal beyond prepacked sandwiches. No options for lactose-free meals beyond the potato chips at the bar. In-flight food was awful- we had the no lactose meals."

Ulemper: "Flight was too exhausting, but Turkish Airlines have nothing to do with this. Ataturk Airport in Istanbul is ... mediocre at the best."
Fordeler: "The seats were comfortable and the first meal was great! Staff was friendly and the bathroom was VERY clean and nice."
Ulemper: "I didn't like the multiple, repetitive announcements. I would suggest that once the guest has picked their language preference on the screen, they then only hear announcements once in their preferred language. Also, our first transfer flight with Turkish allowed for us to carry our personal camera, but then on our main connecting flight we were told that we couldn't have it as a carry on. We would have stowed it in checked baggage had we been previously told. This was incredibly frustrating."
Fordeler: "Finally getting to New York after they let my 1st connecting flight leave without us and the other dozen or so passengers that were supposed to be on that flight to JFK."
Ulemper: "Everything else was awful. Due to the previous flight being late arriving/departing we got to Istanbul late then they couldn't park the plane to de-board. We missed our connection and were stuck in Istanbul for an entire day. The customer service related to this mistake were awful, blaming us, telling us it wasn't their problem, and constantly trying to get refer us to another representative or their website rather than attempt to resolve the issues. Worst flight experience I've ever had."

Ulemper: "I am a non veg guy and during serving the foood they said ...they don't have Non veg meal ..I have to eat Veg only ..what the hell is this .. For water also ..I had to ask 3 times then they gave me when I request fourth time...it was terribly bad experience and I hated this trip."

Ulemper: "Took long time to board. Entertainment system showed no content."
Ulemper: "I was disappointed that the airline proactively cancelled the flight I booked and then refused to rebook me onto another airline and failed to offer me a return home within 24 hours of the flight I'd originally booked. Then, when trying to resolve the situation, the airline repeatedly gave me the runaround, directing me to talk to various people in person, and on the phone, before finally making clear that they wouldn't rebook me. Why waste my time and give me false hope if they weren't going to do it?"
Ulemper: "The flight was cancelled and 36 hours later, I am stuck at a hotel with 100s of other people none of who have a clue how to contact the airline as all the phones are not being attended to. The Indian sales and reservation team as well as the Turkish customer care are not responding to the situation at all."

Ulemper: "Seats were smaller on this plane. I'm 6-2" and this flight my knees hit the chair in front of me."

Ulemper: "I upgraded and paid for first class round trip but only got it for my flight to italy and not the flight back to miami. Economy is too cramped for such long flights"

Ulemper: "Food took up too much tray space and crew did not clear trays promptly. Messages from pilot were inaudible. We went through more than four security checks and we were only transferring planes in Istanbul. Terminal was short on places to sit and had excessive duty free shopping. Walks in terminal went on for miles. With the flight gate only posted 35 minutes ahead of departure, this was a problem."

Ulemper: "...I could not feel the air conditioning at all where I was sitting in the back of the plane. I was literally sweating the entire flight. When I asked the flight attendants about it they muttered that they would take care of it and then never did. It was a very uncomfortable flight."

Ulemper: "The absolute worst airline we have ever flown with. Will never fly with them again."

Førts flyen blir 20 minutter forsinket . Etterpå når vi sitte i flyen og skule fly hadde mye bråk som vi visste har teknisk problem . Så etterpå vi måte og sitte i flyen og venter cirka 2 timer . Det var veldig dømt og sitte i en fly og vente 2 timer ?!! Og hele tida vi følger ikke trygg siden vi hørte om flyen har teknisk problem. Vi forventet bytte flyen ikke tar samme fly som har teknisk problem . Og siden vi hadde en langs tur PGA flyen hadde problem vi fått ikke noe ekstra service som matt ellers litt drikke . Ulemper: "Make a rule that people cannot put their seats back. People in front of us were rude and kept their seats back the entire flight, even after we nicely asked them to not have the seats back so far. Would prefer that seats did not move at all. I would never recline my seat in consideration for the person behind me. On an 11 hour flight, this is a big deal."
Ulemper: "Only reason I chose Lufthansa was that I was informed that 23kg of checked in luggage was included. It was NOT. I don't care whose fault it is. Lufthansa still says that this is included on their website. I demand reimbursement."
Fordeler: "I didn’t enjoy this flight as everything seemed very unwelcoming here"
Ulemper: "Take care of passengers for drinks and others. Treat passengers with other languages nicely rather than in condescending way. I saw air hostess laughing among themselves and being little short with passengers who couldn’t communicate. The boarding process was very chaotic with no groups."
Fordeler: "Crew members went out of their way to ensure the passengers’ comfort."
Ulemper: "Boarding process in Frankfurt was very confusing and haphazard. Some passengers had been pre-checked, others had not been- which delayed the boarding. Flight was an hour late. Baggage claim in Delhi was a mess- had to wait for more than hour to get one checked bag."
Fordeler: "Plane didn't crash."
Ulemper: "Boarding totally chaotic, someone was in my assigned seat, plane was very late, food was crappy, no legroom , seat and armrests uncomfortable , constant screaming babies, smelly passengers, music only came out of one speaker, music kept jumping from one song to another and then back !"

Ulemper: "We couldn't check in for the next flight when we departed from Oslo. Disappointed we had to wait until arriving in Frankfurt. Something about not being partner airlines."
Fordeler: "On a flight from Oslo to Germany to Charlotte, we only had 55 minutes to connect in Germany. Lufthansa held our plane due to their error in some runway and docking issues and we, as well as 25 other were escorted to our connection by Lufthansa staff. Excellent customer service even though it was their fault. They just did the right thing and did it well."
Ulemper: "I would have expected that there be much more time for gate connections. If you have ever been in the Munich airport, it is very large and navigation takes time.."
Fordeler: "Our flight from Frankfort to Munich was late. Luftansa sent a representative to our flight to make sure we and others from our flight got on to the flight to Charlotte. How awesome! Plane needs more leg room."
Fordeler: "After so many domestic flights of being shuffled around and interacting with flight attendants that seem to not like their jobs much and passenger's are just an annoyance, flying abroad on Luftansa was quite a different experience! The flight attendants were polished, professional, and actually wanted to provide a service. Their interactions made me feel like I was cared about and that they wanted my unique needs to be met. This made a 10 hour flight an enjoyable experience which I certainly didn't anticipate."

Was 2 hours late, what changed our plans in Paris. Seats are not comfortable, 2 chairs did not move, to narrow between seats.

Je vous suis reconnaissant d'avoir retardé le départ du vol Helsinki-Genève pour nous permettre d’attraper la correspondance malgré le retard de le première partie du voyage (Oslo-Helsinki). L'enregistrement des bagages au départ d'Oslo a été très problématique et désorganisé.

Clean airplane with great staff

Alt fungerte meget bra. Crew var vennlige og opplagte, hadde fokus på jobben og hadde kontroll på oppgavene. Bare positivt å bemerke! Reiser mye med Finnair, og den gode opplevelsen er standard. Personalet får antagelig skolering og kan omgås passasjerene med vennlighet og respekt.

Ulemper: "The handles in between the seats could've been better by being able to be completely raised."

Ulemper: "The passenger sitting next to me smelled REALLY bad. Like he hadn't washed himself in weeks. Other passengers around me got a whiff too and also reacted the same. I asked the main crew member from my aisle for a seat change but he came back 10 mins later saying there was nothing else available. Later when I was walking around to stretch my legs, I saw there were AT LEAST 10 seats open in the next cabin. Why lie? The entertainment system touch-screen was not working properly and the headphones kept falling out of my ear."

Fordeler: "It was interesting that the flight from Helsinki to Chicago served a Indian style dinner comprising of lentils, rice and chickpeas. I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. My kids liked the macaroni and meat dinner. The plane was clean and comfortable"
Ulemper: "The flight attendants could have been a bit more cordial and smiling. The dessert was only a choclate. Would have liked something better. Entertainment needed more variety. Boarding was a bit of a mess as they did not let families board first and were not very accomodative of families with small children, though I had a 9 year old, but there was a family with two very small children and they were not very helpful to them."
Fordeler: "I loved the colors of the flight.light blue and green. Gave a peaceful ambience. The flight attendants were very courteous and smiling. Especially the women flight attendants. The food was excellent. It was interesting that the flight from Helsinki to Chicago served a Indian style dinner comprising of lentils, rice and chickpeas. I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. I liked the boarding as they were very strict about families with children and gave them priority before other passengers."
Ulemper: "I did not find too many indian films which I would have liked, especially in a flight because Indian movies are 3 hours long and help to pass the time quickly :). I would have liked more variety in the Hollywood movies as well. They mostly had much older films and hardly any of the new releases while Emirates flight had lot many more new releases and oscar winning movies. They served the Indian amul cheese which is not worthy of serving on a flight, and they could have served some better cheese."
Fordeler: "The employee at the checkin counter in Oslo set everything up for us regarding our wheelchair and walker. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She arranged for a pick up in Helsinki with the airport's crew. They helped us unload the plane and then had a personal accessible bus to take us from where we landed (outside of terminal) to the gate of our next departure. The crew were all extremely professional and efficient."
Ulemper: "The leg room is never enough on the long flights. The flight from Chicago to Helsinki at 10:00pm was not nearly as good as the flights from Oslo to Helsinki to Chicago. The crew was not as pleasant, the lights were not turned off until after 1:00 am and then turned on hours before the light "breakfast" was served."
Fordeler: "Typical service and level of attention you'd expect in business class. Great food and wine selection. The amenity kit has exactly what's needed and not more."
Ulemper: "Only 1 hour of Wi-fi included - seems strange for business class."
Ulemper: "Wasn't given vegetarian option for food and don't eat meat."
Ulemper: "I don't understand when a reason for flight delay is no aircraft. Wasn't it a scheduled flight? The €8 voucher is only enough to buy one glass of juice."
Ulemper: "Seats were too closely spaced. Like a coffin. Will probably not fly Finnair unless the price is next to nothing."
Ulemper: "There was no reason given why the flight left Helsinki 35 minutes from schedule. Boarding aircraft seem to take a longer time than usual for a full flight. The flight crew during boarding in economy didn't have the push needed to get everyone seated in an efficient manner. The tv screen does not move out far enough to view when the person in front has their seat all the way back. Selection is limited compared to the non stop flight previous from Miami to Helsinki. There isn't an option to view the flight details in flight which is interesting to some passengers. At least have the option."

Ulemper: "Only drinks with dinner, other airlines serve the whole time. Limited selection of drinks. Other airlines do not limit. Not enough leg room and I'm only 5'7. Seat in front leaned back to far."

Fordeler: "My stay in the air was approximately about an hour from stockholm to Helsinki. They smiled me and gave comfortable service as always . Thanks"
Ulemper: "It may be not about flying process but airport environment or service. ARN airport was a bit cold even inside of the building . The WiFi was offered only limited time , which was very shorter than I expected but overall status with cosy mood made me as if I were at home . On the other hand , the finnair check in counter had only two , one of which was business and the other was economy it took about 40mins to send my luggage and check in ."

Ulemper: "The crew moved me to another seat on the return flight which allowed me entertainment but I hadThe entertainment console at my seat location on both flights to and from London did not work. That's 10 hours! to move away from my companions."
Fordeler: "Best price from Dallas to Barcelona, and then Madrid to Dallas."
Fordeler: "i got there 45 minutes before my flight and boarding crew of american airlines did everything for me to make my flight"

Fordeler: "Friendly crew. Finnair subcontract to British Airways so this was a BA flight at a better price. Flight was far from full enabling me to stretch out."
Ulemper: "Unable to pre select seats because the arrangement makes you neither a full BA or Finnair customer. Food was just about edible and that was the better non vegetable option. The plane was old and the in in seat screens were old too, with poor resolution (no touch screen to illustrate the aging technology). Although the entertainment selection was relatively current the aging connection in the arm rest, coupled with cheap ear buds made for a poor listening experience."
