They were very nice about everything, but just thought that was really strange."

Fordeler: "The Boarding Emirates at Logan Airport is a nightmare. The staff are unhelpful, and take long time to process Transiting passengers. The Desk is understaffed, and the staff is rude."
Ulemper: "The flight has enough crew on board, but the staff usually stand together in the galley and keep gossiping, instead of going around once in a while and check on passengers. It's a long flight and crews change but the passengers don't."

Ulemper: "They are racist!!!!! Segregation and all!!!!! For my more than 12 hours layover I had to pay for my own hotel!!! Yet other travelers were given free hotel vouchers. As a matter of fact I was kept waiting for nearly half an hour in the middle of the night even though I had been waiting for service ahead of them."

Ulemper: "Hello- The system for online checking was down (I think) it took a lot of time to check in. By the time we got to passport control, there was a huge line and an hour and half was left before take off. Anyways we joined the line. Half way through, 45 min before flight (flight was eventually delayed for an hour I think but we did not know that at the time) we realized that we were definetly going to get late and were looking for any Emirates person (whilst in line) who could guide us. Eventually someone did came and told a group (some way ahead of us) that people flying to Lahore and Karachi can go to another office for passport control (we ran to that office). I believe instead of sending 1 person to a line of say 300+ people to fetch for people for Lahore and Karachi can devise a contingent plan for these kind of situations. Maybe use a hand held digital board asking passengers with Flight no:XXX to head to a place so and so. Maybe megaphone can be used. Instead of passenger anxiously trying to get to 1 person whilst keeping in line to get some important information. In flight I used the button twice to call a crew member for some juice and water. But nobody came. But that might be understandable as there was a lot going on some 1 hour after dinner I think and is not a big problem. Don't know what kind of coordination they have with Dubai airport staff, seemed least bothered."

Ulemper: "Bought the ticket from internet after paying found baggage allowance only 20kg tried to contact airline additional 10 kg luggage price was more than the price of ticket. Seating was awfully I am 6'3" did not fit in middle seat requested several times for isle seat my legs were sticking out each time I have to get up to let pass the passengers and staff safety hazard. Have to pay additional 70 pounds sterling for under 3kg."

Ulemper: "29 passengers were arriving in JFK from MSP, a flight that was delayed due to ground staff issues at JFK (which means that Emirates' partner airline had some issues?). Plane was delayed but we landed just in time to make the connection or so we thought. After running through the terminal, we saw our plane attached to the gate for 53 minutes(I have pictures to show) but Emirates gate staff said the flight is now closed, and didn't let us board the flight. They didn't help us rebook our next flight, or pay for hotel or transportation. And some of us couldn't fly for 2 days because they were overbooked on their future flights. And that's what really happened - Emirates was overbooked for our flight, and conveniently used the excuse that they didn't know our flight had landed in JFK (seriously), and their ground staff was totally non challent about it. They asked us to call the partner airline to rebook, who instead asked us to call Emirates. 4-6 hours of calling for most of us in the middle of the night. Emirates has social media presence on Twitter & Facebook but it's like chatting with a wall. Its 100% useless and waste of time, and I have asked them where I can send my complaint but they won't respond."
Ulemper: "Crew woke us up to ask us if we wanted food. I've only ever been woken up before for safety reasons (seat belts, etc) We were not impressed with the arrival in Dubai. We came in a large plane and had to deplane very far from the terminal onto buses, down a long set of stairs. They did not send enough buses so we waited on the hot outside stairs for about 15 minutes. It took us a full 45+ minutes from landing to get to the actual terminal. We were grateful we had a long layover or we would not have made our connecting flight!"

Ulemper: "As I'm pilot and being my first flight in a A380, I would like to visit the plane what was denied by a cabin crew."
Fordeler: "Emirates is my carrier of choice, and that's due to their continued service standards, friendliness and rates. This flight was pretty empty so service was even better and I was able to spread myself out. Also, well done to the crew. They continue to maintain high standards."
Ulemper: "This is the first time it's happened to me, but I was scheduled to leave Oslo on Wednesday, but Emirates cancelled my flight and put me on the next one. It would have been alright had they offered some sort of compensation or made it up to me in one way or another, but that was not going to happen. They cancelled and the cost was on me (as per the T's & C's I was told) and that was pretty much that. Here's a hint, it seems like their Scandinavian flights are underperforming and in a cost saving effort, they're randomly cancelling flights. I subsequently found out they did it to someone else in the area causing them to miss two days of a pre-booked vacation. So, if they cancel, it's going to cost you a lot more in a city like Oslo to wait a day - not to mention the costs involved in missing work or vacation, so maybe shop around then. I still like Emirates, but I'm feeling a little burnt after this episode."
Ulemper: "I had a middle seat on this flight and felt very cramped- by the end of the flight my legs were getting cramps and were twitchy. The boarding process was chaos- everyone gathered around the boarding area and it was impossible to board when the zone was called due to all the people in the way. Also, the food for breakfast was good but nothing great- the dinner on the previous flight was much more appetizing. Having said all that, flying Emirates was still a very pleasant experience."

Ulemper: "Smoked salmon is gross for on a plane,even just as an appetizer. Meals were skimpy (dinner, apple/granola bar, pizza snack) for such a long 8+ hour flight. Collecting blankets & headphones well before landing was inconsiderate (I was COLD for the last 40+ minutes, and couldn't watch anything or listen to music for the last 30 minutes). Flight attendants needed to offer pens for customs forms."

Very tight seats and spaces, almost impossible to watch the screen or eat a meal if the seat in front of you is pushed back. Attendants were not accommodating. Two meal options were offered, pasta & beef. Ordered pasta, I was told there is no more pasta. Ordered beef meal instead, received salmon meal. Later during flight I saw attendant sitting down in their station eating pasta meals. The list goes on....
Flight for delayed for no reason for 6 hours
Everything was wonderful but the only thing is the kids running around and screaming. Other wise, I am very satisfied.

Ulemper: "I have been flying Turkish Air quite a bit since 2011. I have noticed that on some shorter flights they are using newer planes with a bit more leg room, but on their longer flights (Like the one I take quite a bit from Los Angeles-Istanbul) they are using older planes that are horrific for anyone over 6' tall. I can't even sit in the seat without my legs jamming against the seat in front of me, and when the recline, I have to sit sideways. They are also very small sideways. I am a big guy, but not overweight, and barely fit in the seats. Their seats are definitely getting worse since I started and they ended their economy plus seat option, which at least gave you an option, for a couple hundred dollars more, you could have a nice seat. This is of course to make more money and jam more people on their planes without caring at all for the passengers comfort when you are flying, and it makes those long 12-14 hour flights miserable! Also, the planes are very hot when you board, which can be very uncomfortable, and they no longer give you a hot towel (As they used to) until the plane has taken off. They also do not serve a 1st beverage right away after take off (10,000'). Your first beverage is with the first meal, and then you are not served anything again until the second meal, whereas most other airlines serve drinks throughout the flight. SO you fly for 12 hours with 2 service times and no offers of drinks, snacks, etc. during the flight."

Ulemper: "Wifi was ineffective for most of the flight. Difficult to sign on using Android phone and unable to achieve full wifi web-browsing once activated. Charged full fee for very minimal access. One hour of access cost is almost as much as full flight access so it drives you to the higher cost option. On demand movies and music were fine. Economy seating is a tight fit but not unexpected."

Ulemper: "When I called the night before to check into the flight our reservation had been cancelled and we did not know until we got to the airport Turkish Airlines counter in Mumbai very early in the morning that we could still fly. Never understood why our names had been removed for our return flight. Because we didn't have a boarding pass when arriving at the airport the security hesitated to allow us into the facility. Luckily we found our itinerary and they allowed us entry."

Ulemper: "TV did not work. Crew said there are a lot of broken TVs and there is nothing they can do."

Fordeler: "The crew is very attentive, although at times lacks some foresight in dealing with passengers. The aircraft was quite new and clean. The entertainment system was outstanding and the food good, although a downgrade from THY experiences from a few years ago."
Ulemper: "The passengers on some Turkey--US flights are hilariously terrible. People getting up during landing, littering in the plane, clogging toilets, creating spills, NEVER listening to announcements made by the crew, etc. It's essentially a zoo. I sat by a bulkhead seat, and I had maybe 200 people push by my feet, step on them, knock around my shoes and TV console during the flight. It's a somewhat tiring spectacle for 10 hours on end."
Fordeler: "Hey, two checked bags free, free in flight meal and drinks including alcohol, free in flight movies and music, free headphones, free blankets, and a free toothbrush, yea toothbrush, its like flying in the way way back."

At the end of the day no Turkish airline associate was able to help us and had to buy another ticket with Emirats . Tar table customer service and just took our money regardless of us flying with you guys. Coming back my mother was sick and we tried to get our ticket dates increased but still wasn't able to and now my mother has to buy another ticket with another airline just because Turkish airline was the worse experience we have ever had and we always fly international ."

It was very pleasant and we thoroughly enjoyed the flight. We felt like we received first class treatment in the economy section of the plane. From warm hand towels, beautiful menus for meals and beverages available, a toiletry bag and much more. The inflight entertainment was awesome. Love the large screen and the touch screen abilities. So many great choices."
Ulemper: "The temperature of the cabin changed drastically from being very hot to very cold in a short matter of time. The boarding process was also not organized well at all as we lined up in our groups, but people did not follow this so although we were group A, somehow people from lower groups were boarding before us. The seats were a bit hard."

Spacious seats for economy class. Food was good. Responsive and great cabin crew.
The fact that my flight from LHR to Abu Dhahbi is cancelled, I am only frustrated about not being home. I most probably will never fly Etihad again.

Fordeler: "Crew was nice and friendly. Food came in a paper bag but still was good and plenty. The plane was an Airbus-330, it's a smaller plane for shorter routes but the seats were actually more comfortable than the newest Boeing 787-9 they use for long hauls."
Ulemper: "Don't bus the passengers to the plane and make them climb the stairs. It's almost 2020."
Fordeler: "it would be a lie to say i liked anything"

Ulemper: "Nicer more helpful crew. More leg space. More air temperature control abs cleaner bathrooms"
Fordeler: "Boarding in this time was quick, flight was delayed by almost 45 minutes but pilot made time and we were only 10 to 15 minutes late landing into Singapore. The only redeeming quality was the nice gentleman next to me who was helpful."
Ulemper: "Food was quite mediocre to be honest."

Ulemper: "Crew was very rude, ground or air. Our layoff was 11.hours nobody provide us food or hotel, we stayat terminal 3 for 11 hours. Seats were assigned to us was in the end of craft though we're 1st in check in. Food was rotten like dogybag with no class. Head phone were broken."
Fordeler: "Plenty of spare seating. Cabin staff and crew very helpful."
Ulemper: "Entertainment was dreadful more than 50pc not working. Flight tracker not working. Back of end rear cabin seats some were loose. Dreading return legs of trip."
Ulemper: "Carry on baggage space was very limited, or passengers were allowed to take more than they should. Also, the sitting and boarding at the Abu Dhabi airport was very insufficient for a full flight."
Fordeler: "Food and entertainment"
Ulemper: "I travelled from KUL to JFK with transit at Abu Dhsbi. Nightmarish transit in Abu Dhabi. Three intrusive security screenings (why three?). At some point they take away your boarding pass and make you sit in a hall for about half an hour (with similar 'criminals') with no access to bathrooms without telling you why. Then they call your name to return the boarding pass ( which was a problem for me because I am hearing challenged). Not sure this special treatment is reserved for just brown skinned travellers"

Ulemper: "From Washington to Abu Dhabi was terrible small sweats less room for leg's."
Fordeler: "On our entire journey this leg had the friendliest crew. Surprisingly the A380 journeys had seats more cramped with poorer recline than this aircraft."
Ulemper: "The food definitely needs to improve. It is slipping back to the cliched term of 'airline food' Albeit extremely courteous and caring the crew seemed overwhelmed and understaffed for there were delays in providing drinks or a blanket (although they profusely apologised)"
Ulemper: "Abu Dhabi boarding experience needs to be better."
Fordeler: "It was such a relief to leave India. Abu Dhabi was a clean and modern airport and it was clear that Etihad had a major role in this. The gate was busy, but everything was smooth and accommodating. Boarded my flight and slept in the clouds for an easy 9 hr flight."
Ulemper: "I am unable to eat meat or bread(gluten). There was a meatless option, but it was all bread. It would be nice to have some mixed nuts and an extra piece of fruit. Dates would've been great!"
Fordeler: "The crew was very nice."
Ulemper: "THere was no air conditioning! Seemed like the pilot tirned on heat. And the whole plane smelled."

Fordeler: "The cockpit crew was efficient in announcing the highlights of the flight.The landing and take off was smooth and flawless.The aircraft, an airbus 321 was clean."
Ulemper: "The service from Abudhabi to Cochin was worse than the so called cattle class.One simple instance, the food menu which was trumpeted and given to each passenger in the economy class, had three main entrees,viz Fish/chicken/vegetarian. When the food trolley came to my seat in the mid section of the plane, the hostess with almost a desperate look told me that only the vegetarian dish was available.I told her that I definetly need the fish or chicken dish.She scrounged around and ultimately gave me the fish choice whereas all the rest around me had to do with the vegetarian fare.Why this stupidity of a grandiose menu card?...The menu list states a list of liquor available in flight in the economy class.The hostess was serving the same only to those who specifically asked for it and that too as if she has to pay for the same.What a shame on the airline.You folks can do much better than this, in the so called cattle class.Sitting in a preassurised tube for more than 21 hours to reach ones destination is agony by itself, but then getting into your flight after seeing the goodies offered are only in paper, is a sad disappointment."

Ulemper: "The cabin crew is not at all courteous. When you start travelling in US, you realize how different the crew's attitude is. When you want to say no to the customer, atleast make an effort to accommodate the needs of the customer first. Minor requests made by the passengers should be accommodated. You just rudely say No. Learn something from American customer service!!"
