Location was great to avoid the south beach madness Wifi was weak and pool needs more seating
We booked to get some A/C after Hurricane Irma. When we arrived they would not honor the rate we had already paid online and tried to charge us an extra $65 per night. They wouldn't budge. Do not pay these Criminals, they should be out of business.
The elevator went out minutes before we returned at 11pm, and service was partially restored just about midnight. We were on the 9th floor, and my wife had asthma, so we waited in the lobby. Nothing was offered - not a cold drink or a snack or anything other than a half-apologetic "Sorry".
The hotel is clean and comfortable. Very modern appeal. The valet parking is ridiculously expensive and due to lack of parking in the area nearly a necessity. The parking fees make up for any saving you might think you're getting on your room. The front desk staff and hotel bar staff were very courteous and friendly, however, the in lobby Starbucks staff couldn't have been more rude or inattentive.
