Det hadde basseng for ungene til å kjøle seg ned. Det hadde et treningsenter som er viktig for oss. Det hadde bra beliggenhet, gåavstand i forhold til Washingtons severdigheter og Georgetown Vi spiste middag på hotellet første kveld og det var en stor skuffelse. Vi spiste ikke flere måltider der.
I did not like the fact I had to pay valet for parking or find my own. I feel if I m paying for the comfort of staying out of town then that is something that should be included.
Location Room wasn't clean. Carpet smelt like cigarette. They charged me for parking that I did not use.
Location was excellent, most staff was nice and helpful. If you wanted Wifi, you had to pay extra. Channels on the television had horrible reception 9/10 times. One bellhop was incredibly rude when I asked to use a luggage cart, that were kept in their storage room at the moment, as I had multiple heavy bags to load in my car. Parking was outrageous per day ($60). This parking fee was also not included on Kayak or Pricline.
Spacious room with super comfortable bed. No warning for the loud construction noise just outside our bed window at 6:30 am Sunday and then 5:30 Monday am. When we complained the front desk said nothing could be done.
Friendly helpful staff in downtown DC. The air conditioning in the room wasn't very good. It didn't feel like it dropped below 70F while set to 60F in November.
Excellent location for much of downtown DC. Around Midnight my room filled with old cigarette smoke as someone began smoking in the stairwell. The air quality overall in my particular room was poor, requiring the windows to be opened as much as possible. This of course made it difficult to sleep as the city sounds in DC near The White House are loud and replete with sirens 24/seven. Normally, one might cover one's ears to have silence. However, at this hotel the pillows are the size for small children.
The location and comfort here is great! Overall very good value!! The room was a little tight. Room had empty box of tissues, could of been a bit cleaner, dust.

My room was about ten years out of date, broken thermostat, etc. Entire hotel smelled like a small kitchen with no ventilation where someone had been cooking hamburgers. Gross.
$72 for 3 bottles of water and 2 cups of tea is outrageous. I asked for still water, three times when placing order, and they brought sparkling. It was late so I didn't protest.
Great location (close to the metro and the mall). The staff was very helpful, and cribs are available to use if you have small children. Overall, the room was comfortable and nice.
Location. The exterior of the building was pretty. The doormen were busy talking to help me walk into the front door. They must've thought I belong at their hotel. I didn't like the way that I was treated when I checked in. Just because I have tattoos and wear jeans doesn't mean I don't have money to spend. I judge people based on appearance, as everyone does, but this man at reception treated me like trash. Couldn't even look at me. I asked for a king size bed and I got a room with two full size beds. I went down to ask for water since the room has ZERO amenities. The guy at the front desk handed me two tiny bottles of water. Jeez, thanks for the sip of water. I will never stay there again. The hotel is cheesy, lacks any character, and they need to tell their staff to respect everyone. Young, old, white, black, men, women, tattoos, yuppy, anything. You never know these days who's who, who has money, who has clout.
I came in at 4 and there was no water or mini-bar in the room. They told me that if I wanted a Diet Coke I would need to wait until room service was open at 5. In the morning, they didn't fill the breakfast order -- said they didn't get it. This for $400 a night? Hardly 4 star service.
Beautiful lobby, great DC location, helpful staff, lovely room. A value I don't understand but was happy to have. Lovely room. It was great! As a group we did not enjoy breakfast in the restaurant.
We absolutely loved our stay at The Mayflower. My husband and I were there to renew our vows on our anniversary and the staff were extremely welcoming, making sure our room was ready several hours before normal heck-in hours so that we could get dressed and off to the ceremony in time. I can't think of a single thing that was less than exemplary- the loveliest hotel in DC!

.... Reserved through Kayak and pre-paid the hotel fees, but my credit card was charged twice for the hotel fees. Second time being charged $490 additional for inexplicable reason. I have been calling them and trying to get in touch with their accounting department since Sunday to no avail. Only thing I'm getting is voicemail and I have left 2 separate messages to inquire about the charges, but still haven't heard back anything.

Everything exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Loved the rainfall shower. The valet fee is overpriced. We were unable to get into our room because our lock needed to be charged. This was an inconvenience.

1) clean bathroom 2) bath tub doesn't clog when you take a shower; commendable on this part. 3) bed was very comfortable. 1) Accepts pets; this should be flagged prior to booking. There should be an option for customers to select non-pet room esp if one has allergies. 2) Business practice of asking for advance credit card signature. 3) WIFI and use of business center equipment are not standard amenities and customer pays i.e. cost of WIFI is based on GB of data.
Location The staff (including management) did not respond adequately to their system being down during check in. Problems like that are expected but management did not issue an apology to all guests waiting in line for 30+ minutes and did not show the urgency to find an alternate way to check in all the guests affected by the hotel's system outage.
The hotel is ideally located in that it is walking distance to the White House and the Washington Monument. The room was also nicely appointed and clean. The staff was very nice and responsive. Service was on par with a 5 star experience. We booked the premier room through Kayak. The room we were give. Was TINY - e.g. distance between dresser and the bed was probably less than 2 feet. If I were a solo traveler, this would not have been a problem. However, with a toddler, this became an immediate safety concern. We upgraded to a deluxe room.

It was a clean hotel with nice people. misleading when looking online, it looks bigger than it is. But it wasn't too bad. They do not have complimentary breakfast. It's over priced for what you get.

Doormen were nice and knowledgeable... Rooms were clean, and impressive (but small) lobby. Like most buildings in DC, ceilings were low, scenery was of rooftops and other office windows and not much view. Little advise on best way to attack touring DC other than "If you want to, you can see this or that or use a bus tour"

Two of the employees, Soyoung and Stephanie were amazing in providing my wife and I with a very high level of service! Can't thank them enough for going the extra mile and making our stay memorable! They both did a great job communicating with us. It started with a text message to see how everything was in the room, when we had a problem with the heat, they dispatched an engineer right away, and had a new room ready for us when we got back later in the day. They also both signed a hand written card for my wife's b-day that was waiting for us in the new room. Overall, they both made our stay at the Loew's hotel very enjoyable. The location was very good, all the employees and staff were very friendly and hospitable. Would def recommend the hotel to a friend or stay there again. Our mattress could have been firmer.

The staff went out of their way to make the weekend a wonderful experience. The door men were always friendly and helpful and the front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. From the moment we walked in we were treated like valued customers, a simple and often overlooked feature of most hotels today. Highly recommend to anyone looking to make their stay in Washington DC more pleasurable.

The hotel itself was beautiful and centrally located. The staff was very friendly. The bathroom was tiny, like a shoe box. The room we were given was also part of a set of 3 cojoining rooms, and the walls were thin enough to hear everything.
Rooms needed to be dusted. Mini bar is electronic and not a refrigerator; DO NOT TOUCH or you will be charged.

We were in a suite and it was spacious and nicely furnished. Most staff were nice. Great having a Starbucks in the lobby. Nice central location. The bathroom was small, especially the corner sink. There was no counter space. Front desk clerks were hit and miss. Some nice, some not. Concierge staff were great. The breakfast was OK, not great.

The hotel is a beautiful place with excellent finishes. Everything was in great condition and high quality. The rooms were small, which in understandable given the location, but this was a double bed room so it seemed even smaller.
The actual hotel was clean and updated, the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall the actual stay was great. Nice little happy hour offered at the bar. Valet parked my car for 1 night, and took it upon themselves to charge $50 to my credit card, plus a $17 convenience fee. No lot in the surrounding area exceeded $25 for overnight parking. I should have parked my own car. I feel that the hotel was nervy and rude to charge us double the going rate for parking - without notifying me. I felt taken advantage of, since we were already paying top dollar for a 1 night stay. The hotel was nice, but not that nice. I stay in DC all the time, but I may not return unless this problem is rectified.
I used to work near Scott Circle so this was convenient for me to go visit friends. No choice as to heat or a/c in the room...which is a nightmare during in-between seasons. My room was too warm and there was nothing I could do about it. Ugh. Also, $41 for valet parking is nothing short of highway robbery. Finally, female front desk clerk needs to add "smiling" to her repertoire.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our reservation due to heavy rain, traffic, wind,etc on the route. The manager did agree to refund part of our money. We were disappointed that we weren't able to make the trip.
Excellent location: within walking distance of Metro stops &, even better for me, across the street from a Bike Share station. Staff were polite, helpful, and professional. Worth every cent I spent. Happy medium between really expensive places right next to the monuments and less expensive places that were farther away. The room was smaller than I expected but adequate for my needs.
Amazing breakfast. (We got free breakfast vouchers when we booked our room). Comfy bed. Convenient central location. Asked for a fridge, never got one. Had to have the shower repaired because it wouldn't get hot. TV had really bad reception and very few channels.

It's in a good location just north of the heart of Washington DC. I was in town for 6 nights for a SHRM conference and this hotel was very disappointing. Why is it that more expensive hotels charge extra for wifi while it's free at lower-end hotels? An extra $15/day for wifi. Ridiculous! They were a little stingy with the towels--I only had 2 bath towels in my room. Most hotels provide 3 as standard. The bathroom was small and laid out oddly. The toilet was against the same wall as the bathroom door, facing the sink, and was very close, so getting up was a little awkward. The shower didn't have a door so a lot of water ended up on the floor. I reserved a king bed but the bed I got was no bigger than a queen. I had to ask to be moved to a room with a king bed. The staff was neither friendly nor accommodating. The published breakfast hours were up to 10:30 but when I tried to enter the restaurant a little after 10:00 am the staff said they were closed until lunch. The examples of their borderline-rudeness are too numerous to list, but very few on staff were friendly. Oddly enough the exception seemed to be the housekeeping staff.
I like the location, the staff was polite, etc. The bathroom floor was dirty. The floor needs cleaning. Requested a small refrigerator and the next day my food was no good. Chemicals in the fridge. The wifi didn't work, however, the price was waived and I was able to go to the T room to do urgent work.

I loved the rooms and fasilities, the view from the room, the atmosphere and the rooftop terrasse/pool/bar area 6 out of 7 nights the hotel had private arrangements on the rooftop terrasse/bar - which didnt allow the hotel guest to use the fascilities. I HATED THAT!!!! The rooftop terrasse/bar was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel, not being able to enjoy it was not very satisfactional. This should have been informed before arrival, or should have been given some alternatives to the guests that wanted to have a drink with a view.
Liked the interiur, design hotel. Nice rooms. Nice view. Great roof-top terrasse. Clean. Friendly staff. Good restaurant for dinner/sushi. No automatic refill of minibar, should get refilled every day! Rooftop bar closed all day for the guests who wanted to use the pool. Rooftop pool quite small - only for "cooling down" - not for swimming. Rooftop bar not avliable for guests... 8 out of 10 evenings the hotel had private arrangements on the rooftop not giving the guests of the hotel access to the terrasse. No information given on this. Did not recieve shampoo/condition/soap every day. Small breakfast in restaurant.

The location was great near many restaurants bars and shops. I would definitely stay at a kimpton hotel again! You could definitely tell the hotel was older. Wallpaper was peeling in the hallways.

The King Junior Suite was really large and very comfortable for the few days we stayed there. The front desk staff were very knowledgable of the area and very efficient with check in/check out. The bathroom amenities were great and you could get anything else you might have forgotten from the front desk. They also had complimentary wine from 5pm-6pm! The location was also really fantastic in which you were about a mile away from most of the sites so it is a quick walk or Uber. The rooftop patio is also incredible! I highly recommend this hotel!
Hotel Helix is a fantastic stay all around. Great staff, rooms with personality, great location. Minor complaint: my sink in room 501 had a ring of crud around the rim and the faucet just looked worn. Not a huge deal, but generally Kimpton has higher standards
The room was wonderful and the staff was amazing. Booked this room through Kayak and specified 2 adults and a child. The room we were given only had a king size bed. The staff was able to change our room to accommodate a family of three during spring break.
Location is ideal for us, and the property is truly pet-friendly: no crazy fee and lots of pet amenities offered (bowls and treats and such). We don't really need that stuff but it's nice to feel that your pet is actually welcome, not just tolerated. Our room was clean, bed was super comfy, and the staff were all very kind and professional. This hotel has a funky rock-n-roll themed decor, which I enjoyed buy my BF found a little too kitschy.

I love that this hotel is in a quiet residential area but just a few minutes walk from so much! The staff were pleasant even though they were completely swamped- Sunday check out time. If I ever need to come to Logan Circle again I'd absolutely use this hotel. The TV is huge. The shower has excellent pressure and the bathroom is overall beautiful. Completely enjoyed my stay here.

Had horrible service from front desk woman and did not get the room I was assured I would the day before. The maid staff was very helpful and friendly as was the man who worked overnight desk. The room was small with barely any windows but very clean and bed was comfortable. Will never stay in this hotel or Hyatt again based on promise of getting a street view room and then getting a room that literally overlooked all the AC units for hotel and no view of street. Also, the room they assigned us was not ready when we were sent up so we had to get shuffled into another with a worse view. The desk clerk was rude about the whole situation and when we inquired about parking right out front because the signs were very confusing she told us to "read the signs". Seriously- as if we hadn't already. Very rude. Our friends stayed too and had poor service from same two woman.

The location is excellent in the heart of DC, walking distance to many sights. The HVAC unit in my room failed and I was moved to another room, which also had a faulty HVAC unit, so I was moved to a third room. All of this took place at 8pm, which ruined my plans for the evening. The next day, I was a bit disappointed that neither the manager nor anyone on staff reached out to follow up. Generally, I expect more personal service from Hyatt hotels.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were disorganized and food ran out too soon. The coffee canisters were not replaced when they ran out. The bathroom door stuck, the desk light did not work, and the handset for the telephone did not work. When the shakedown is over, all should be well.

Room was a good size and had a comfortable bed. Good location for going to the bar and restaurants in the area. TV didn't have that many channels. Parking wasn't free for guests, I ended up paying $67 for one night which is pricey. The maids walked into my room unannounced twice during my one night stay, once while I was sleeping...

I liked room decor and setup. location wise, I was right where I needed to be. staff at check out were very nice. my car was towed, which should not have been, & since I was on the way out the valet guy went and got my car for me as I had no idea what to do, where to go and had such a small amount of time to get to my class. staff at check in were extremely rude.

The Hotel Rouge is a boutique hotel and while it is a little too hip for my taste in terms of interior design, it is a wonderful and comfortable hotel. I was upgraded to a family room which, although I did not need the added amenities, was very nice. The family room is exceedingly large and includes a small room that has a bunk bed for the kids, a television and a game station. It also has a curtain so that it can be separated off, which I closed. The bed, a king, is very comfortable as are the pillows. There is a couch, work area, large flat panel television and a nice area with drawers and snacks. The bathroom is also generous in space and the bath products are very nice. The service is excellent, the staff pleasant and honest. I highly recommend this hotel for families despite the fact that it is designed more for the young hip crowd.
I loved the staff who were very friendly and helpful. I also loved how the sink was outside from the toilet and shower. That's a huge plus for me! The pillows were not that good. They only give 3 pillows for each bed and they are not the best. I would advise getting new and better pillows. The tv can also be updated. It should be bigger and a little more in the smart side.

Staff and restaurant are great! On the building signage, room 417 is not listed, but it is an actual room. Just walk around a little bit and you will find it.

The room was nice. It was good to have the sink area separate from the shower area. The staff was nice and tried very hard to be accommodating. Parking as a hotel guest is very expensive and if you forget something in your car you have to be a size 0 to fit into the area they store it. You have to pay (a lot) for any kind of meal at the hotel. It is 3+ blocks from the Metra station, far from any kind of economy dining, and far from just about anything you would want to do in D.C. Every time you turn around someone is waiting for a tip. Since we walked so much we realized that there were a number of hotels closer to all the sights. This is a nice hotel, but if/when we go again we will stay somewhere closer to Metro and/or the sights and family eateries.
