Hyggelig personale. Fin design - men med begynnende slitasje på rommene. Vil snart kreve oppussing. Fin beliggenhet. Positiv stemning.
Liked the interiur, design hotel. Nice rooms. Nice view. Great roof-top terrasse. Clean. Friendly staff. Good restaurant for dinner/sushi. No automatic refill of minibar, should get refilled every day! Rooftop bar closed all day for the guests who wanted to use the pool. Rooftop pool quite small - only for "cooling down" - not for swimming. Rooftop bar not avliable for guests... 8 out of 10 evenings the hotel had private arrangements on the rooftop not giving the guests of the hotel access to the terrasse. No information given on this. Did not recieve shampoo/condition/soap every day. Small breakfast in restaurant.
I loved the rooms and fasilities, the view from the room, the atmosphere and the rooftop terrasse/pool/bar area 6 out of 7 nights the hotel had private arrangements on the rooftop terrasse/bar - which didnt allow the hotel guest to use the fascilities. I HATED THAT!!!! The rooftop terrasse/bar was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel, not being able to enjoy it was not very satisfactional. This should have been informed before arrival, or should have been given some alternatives to the guests that wanted to have a drink with a view.
Good location, helpful staff poor plumbing, below average food and very high cost of room service
Comfortable beds and attentive front desk staff. Some inattention to housekeeping in a room with a Murphy bed.
good location, nice staff
The location The price
good facilities;helpful staff had to request tea/coffee maker and a refrigerator coffee/milk supplies not replenished daily
The staff was great and the room was very nice. The breakfast was terrific much better than expected for $1.Ut was a overall great experenice.
very attentive staff and very positive feeling
very helpful concierge. Decent location
My room was very nice and well maintained by the housekeeping staff. The front of house staff were also very cordial. Charging $12.95 per day for internet service is unreasonable, based on the room rate we were charged.
It was so busy/ room service was 30 minutes later
Rooms needed to be dusted. Mini bar is electronic and not a refrigerator; DO NOT TOUCH or you will be charged.
Sentral beliggenhet. Parkeringen er ganske dyr. 150 kr. per døgn, og er obligatorisk.
Excellent service. I ask them if I could make my check in before 3 pm (the official hour) because I was going to arrive at 9 am, and they had my room ready for that hour.
The staff were very friendly and the hotel was beautiful. We'd definitely stay here again!
Comfort of the room Lack of phone service or free wifi.
The staff Felt a bit hurried to finish our breakfast.
Amaizing service with very friendly staff Beds and pillows were amaizing
The actual hotel was clean and updated, the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall the actual stay was great. Nice little happy hour offered at the bar. Valet parked my car for 1 night, and took it upon themselves to charge $50 to my credit card, plus a $17 convenience fee. No lot in the surrounding area exceeded $25 for overnight parking. I should have parked my own car. I feel that the hotel was nervy and rude to charge us double the going rate for parking - without notifying me. I felt taken advantage of, since we were already paying top dollar for a 1 night stay. The hotel was nice, but not that nice. I stay in DC all the time, but I may not return unless this problem is rectified.
Location Horribly overpriced
We were in a suite and it was spacious and nicely furnished. Most staff were nice. Great having a Starbucks in the lobby. Nice central location. The bathroom was small, especially the corner sink. There was no counter space. Front desk clerks were hit and miss. Some nice, some not. Concierge staff were great. The breakfast was OK, not great.
The hotel is a beautiful place with excellent finishes. Everything was in great condition and high quality. The rooms were small, which in understandable given the location, but this was a double bed room so it seemed even smaller.
60 dollars for valet parking no other option
The beds are remarkably comfortable. The staff is affable and efficient. My wife left her jewelry in the room. We called once we were home and spoke to Doris. She found the jewelry and called us back right away and will mail the jewelry to us. OVERALL 5 STARS.
Very Clean Comfortable beds
Good deal for the price Expensive car valet and shower heads were in need of repair. Water temp fluctuated too much. I spent more time adjusting it rather than showering
Valet parking was extremely slow and expensive
no self-parking. valet parking only. when I tried to do valet parking, they didn't allow me to do it.
Location The staff (including management) did not respond adequately to their system being down during check in. Problems like that are expected but management did not issue an apology to all guests waiting in line for 30+ minutes and did not show the urgency to find an alternate way to check in all the guests affected by the hotel's system outage.
I liked the late check out option. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was very clean. The front desk attempted to charge me for wifi even though my reservation included wifi. They expected me to pay or go out to use the public library in the common areas. After a visit back down to the front desk they provided me with an access code.
Good customer service Very expensive hotel. The movies in the rooms are 20$ each. No HBO or any good channels really. Restaurant in the hotel is outrageously expensive (making room service also very expensive). 10$ for bowl of cereal, 25$ for shorts tack of pancakes. Food is really bad too. Like surprisingly very bad. Soggy fries, Bad salads, sandwiches, pizzas
Very quiet, clean, love the bed!! Great shower Parking options,40 dollars for valet and limited alternatives
Overall the property was excellent! A foul order in ventilation system.
In DC near DuPont circle, but quiet on weekend days. Price of room offers decent value. Super expensive parking, $55/day. Not in the heart of the action in DC.
Staff amazing and SO CLOSE to Everything! Also, very easy to Metro and DCA.
The location and comfort here is great! Overall very good value!! The room was a little tight. Room had empty box of tissues, could of been a bit cleaner, dust.
The room was made up in typical Hilton style with decent bedding/bathroom stuff. This hotels has seen better days. One of the elevators was out of service (seemingly for a long time - a piece of tape covering the outside) the button to the elevator was cracked, and the whole thign was worryingly slowly and creaky. The room itself smelled musty - like it hadn't been aired out in years. Outside the window was the HVAC system which was *loud*. It was a crazy-horrible room. My best guess is that because Kayak booked the room through Priceline Hilton felt it was okay to give me the worst room they could find. I checked out immediately and went to another hotel nearby for the same price, but with a much nicer room and hotel in general.
Friendly helpful staff in downtown DC. The air conditioning in the room wasn't very good. It didn't feel like it dropped below 70F while set to 60F in November.
It was right downtown near the white house and monuments, so we could walk everywhere Everything closes down so it's hard to find a late night restaurant or pharmacy
The hotel was very nice and extremely close to all the sites (just blocks from the White House). The room, service, and location were far above what I would expect for the price. Would stay here again and will recommend to anyone visiting the DC area.
This is a luxury hotel for an unbelievable price. The hotel is centrally located to about everything you want to see or do. What first caught our attention is the fact that you can look down the street and see the White House just a few short blocks away. Yes, there are a lot of hotels in Washington D.C., but if you are looking for a GREAT hotel at an unequaled price, this is it. This would be our first choice when returning to Washington DC. There was nothing not to like about this hotel.
Staff very helpfil. Close to DC metro and attraction
Friendly, attentive staff. Clean rooms and facilities. Location is within walking distance of many places to eat and a short ride from the national mall. Would stay again. Very cold lobby/restaurant/bar area. Thermostat in room kept malfunctioning. The maintenance guy brought us a space heater at one point. Requested shampoo at one point and three different staff people delivered some three separate times. Very friendly, but obviously some lack of communication. Staff was very apologetic about the thermostat and offered us a variety of comps.
Excellent location for much of downtown DC. Around Midnight my room filled with old cigarette smoke as someone began smoking in the stairwell. The air quality overall in my particular room was poor, requiring the windows to be opened as much as possible. This of course made it difficult to sleep as the city sounds in DC near The White House are loud and replete with sirens 24/seven. Normally, one might cover one's ears to have silence. However, at this hotel the pillows are the size for small children.
The room was lovely, and the staff was courteous, helpful and efficient.
Outstanding service and courtesy were the hallmarks of our stay here. The room was immaculate and well cared for. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to see and do. The conceirge was outstanding in his helpfulness. No coffee maker in the room, yikes, missed that first, fast heart- starting cup.
Everything about the hotel was fantastic, the staff were very courteous and helpful and all made a point of knowing my 7 year old son's name. Not applicable.
Location was great. Wonderful room. Two good restaurants with great staff but a bit expensive. All staff members were great! Fitness room was available even in this boutique setting. My son lost his stuffed animal while we were there and they left a new one in the room for him - it made him very happy (they later found his but let him keep the new one, "Freddie". Restaurant was too expensive, especially for breakfast. Fitness room was a bit small.
Very comfortable and pleasant stay . Excellent service and perfect location.
friendly staff,premium location.
Excellent hotel in the business district located next to two metro stops (red and orange/blue lines). Two blocks from the White House. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking wasn't overly convenient. The room we had was on the second floor and outside noise could be a problem.
Comfortable, clean, good value for money, free wireless internet Restaurant opens a little late, 8am, at weekends for breakfast.
it's a great place to stay. two blooks and you can say hello to the president! I got a very big, clean room with wifi and a hd-tv. the neigherhood was very quiet. it takes only two minutes to the next metro station. you'll get free botteled water at the vending machine! i really love that place! -
We went to DC to celebrate my husband's birthday for a long weekend. We looked for a long time online and a lot of the offering was overpriced for the amenities available. The Club Quarters was a great find!!!! The staff was very helpful throughout our stay. There is an espresso bar on the 2nd floor!! We were a few blocks from all the greatest attractions, walked to every site. Never had to take a cab or the Metro. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will come back. We found a gem in D.C. and will be recommending it to our family and friends.
Close to public transport and shops. Windows don't open. Small niggle.
The staff was warm and welcoming from the moment I stepped through the door with my 12 year old. I detest the hold hotels put on your credit card and don't release for days and was told I could pay the $50 incidental in cash (which I received back at checkout before the housekeeper had even cleaned the room). The room was indeed small with only 1 bed which would have been a problem if I hadn't been traveling with family. However, it was clean, along with the bathroom. I did whack my elbow against the wall as I was showering as the stall was a bit cramped. We received great instructions on how to make our way to the White House and monuments - - all within walking distance. We finished our running around a bit early so we took advantage of the 2nd floor lounge for about a half hour before heading back to Union Station. There was an industrial coffee/espresso/cappuccino maker, tea bags, newspapers, a big screen tv set to CNN, a charging station, computers etc. The rooms are too small for friends to convene comfortably so the lounge is a nice spot. Convenience: A block away from the Circulator, a block away from the Farragut North and Farragut West station (it is actually on top of the Farragut West station, however, the entrance is closed so it's necessary to walk to the other side a block down). The complimentary bottled water saved us some money and we surely took advantage. The shower was uncomfortably small for a tall lanky person like me. Whacking my elbow against the wall isn't something I expect to happen in a hotel (usually hotel bathrooms are more comfy than my micro bathroom at home in NYC). Also, the room did not have a mini fridge which would have been nice for our leftovers. The hotel is downtown so the area at night is sparse (still feels safe though). You'll need to take a little walk to find some good breakfast if you set out early on a weekend because the nearby places are either never open on the weekends or only open closer to 9 am.
Well maintained older hotel convenient to restaurants and tourist attractions. Nice linens and towels. Great cocktail lounge. Friendly and welcoming service. Street noise; will bring earplugs next time.
The location for downtown dc couldn't be better, and staff was excellent and very helpful Room was small but for the price value of everything else it didn't matter
We were in DC to visit our son at GWH. Clean and efficient. Perfect location to the occasion. The bed could have been positioned 90° to the 8' room width.
The location 24 hr coffee station clean rooms Small room configured & supplied for the single business traveler. One bath towel 4 the family.
Staff and free snacks were great. Nothing
food and service was good My husband and i were given an end corner room 302 that was way to small and gave a confined effect. We spent as much time out of the room as possible. Parking was also difficult due to lack of easy access to our vehicle asit was in an underground garrage.
Location. Easy walk to many attractions as well as to my business destination.
The hotel in a very nice location and the room very comfort. they give to me Room No 403 we can't sleep because of the noise of the air-condations from out side. and the hotel staff are not frindly
Service was excellent They changed me an extra 200 dollars when I checked into the hotel, despite prepaying on Kayak
Location was excellent to walk or take the metro everywhere, breakfast was good, evening reception 3 days a week with drinks and appetizers was good as well. The service and hospitality of the staff was top notch. Parking is valet only and expensive, $45 a day. Thankfully we didn't rent a car and were able to just walk or ride the metro everywhere.
comfortable room with lots of space and clean/new kitchen appliances. corteous front desk and valet staff. great breakfast buffet. good location 1/2 mile walk to the convention center. air conditioner was too loud and the thermostat was inaccurate so the room was too cold unless we shut the AC off completely.
breakfast is simple but not bad.City centre is more than 15 to 20 min walking. Hotel staff responce is rather slow and seems to have no signs of interest.
The room layout was perfect for travelling with children. Small but fully equipped kitchen, separate living and sleeping areas. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Easy to walk to the White House, Washington Monument & Smithsonian museums.
The hotel is ideally located in that it is walking distance to the White House and the Washington Monument. The room was also nicely appointed and clean. The staff was very nice and responsive. Service was on par with a 5 star experience. We booked the premier room through Kayak. The room we were give. Was TINY - e.g. distance between dresser and the bed was probably less than 2 feet. If I were a solo traveler, this would not have been a problem. However, with a toddler, this became an immediate safety concern. We upgraded to a deluxe room.
Had horrible service from front desk woman and did not get the room I was assured I would the day before. The maid staff was very helpful and friendly as was the man who worked overnight desk. The room was small with barely any windows but very clean and bed was comfortable. Will never stay in this hotel or Hyatt again based on promise of getting a street view room and then getting a room that literally overlooked all the AC units for hotel and no view of street. Also, the room they assigned us was not ready when we were sent up so we had to get shuffled into another with a worse view. The desk clerk was rude about the whole situation and when we inquired about parking right out front because the signs were very confusing she told us to "read the signs". Seriously- as if we hadn't already. Very rude. Our friends stayed too and had poor service from same two woman.
Reservation was not honored!
Super clean, well laid out room. Quite big for an urban hotel. Everything works well. Well thought out.
