Fordeler: First class B&B - Mike and Sue very friendly and great hosts, nothing too much trouble. ground floor bedroom huge, warm and comfortable. Fruit and coffee & tea making facilities in room and fresh milk in fridge in dining room. Ideal setting for visiting Bletchley Park only 10-15 minutes away.

Fordeler: Very clean, nice area comfortable bed, good breakfast. Friendly hosts.

Ulemper: Bathroom was a bit cold.

Fordeler: Sue and Mike were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable with extra touches to make it even more so...big bath towels, full size toiletries with lovely fragrances, big mugs for the in- room tea and coffee..and a generous breakfast.

Fordeler: Excellent B&B run on a very high standards. Really quiet location, with comfy beds and lovely breakfasts. Highly recommend to everyone.

Fordeler: From our arrival to departure everything was perfect (during both stays) and we couldn't have asked for more. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and we'd rate their facilities 11 out of 10.

Ulemper: It couldn't have been better - it was absolutely excellent, in fact, the best B&B we've ever stayed in. Thank you so much to our hosts for going out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable.

Fordeler: The breakfast was brilliant! The hosts are lovely people. The location is fabulous...the room was spacious and bed comfortable...

Ulemper: Would have liked a bit more cupboard or hanging and shelf space. Not important though...we did have more luggage than most I think!

Fordeler: Very friendly and comfortable stay in a nice old farmhouse. Facilities were good and a tasty breakfast with nice fresh eggs.

Fordeler: Delicious breakfast. Lovely room. Extremely clean. Lovely little touches such as the biscuits and chocolates! Also the use of a fridge was very useful. Lovely hosts who were very helpful and got up early to make our breakfast so that we could leave in time to get to Silverstone. They gave us good directions across country to get to the race track easily. Great pub next door with good food. We will be back.

Fordeler: The location was closer to the village than expected. The staff were very smartly dressed, very helpful, friendly & efficient. It was good to have tea & coffee making facilities in the room. The food was good. The room was very clean. Large car park made access very easy.

Ulemper: Nothing. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Ulemper: We could hear the neighbours talking, opening blinds etc was a bit disconcerting

Fordeler: Great stay at the hotel! Everything was nice and clean, breakfast was lovely and it was great value for money. Lovely view overlooking the stadium, and well as shops, supermarket, cinema and restaurants in walking distance! Free parking is a bonus too! Would stay again!

Fordeler: Very friendly staff, greeted by lovely warm room on a cold evening. Nice breakfast, well managed on an extremely busy morning.

Ulemper: Was disappointed that did not know i advance that restaurant was closed and only food on offer was pizza.

Fordeler: Everything excellent stay

Fordeler: The staff were extremely helpful and made us so welcome - particularly Claude on Reception. The hotel was lovely.

Ulemper: Drinks prices at the bar were very expensive.

Fordeler: Comfy beds and quiet at night. The breakfast was much better than I expected too. It was great for a one night stay and walking distance to Willen Lake and close to Junction 14 on the M1 too.

Ulemper: It took me a while to figure out which way to turn the tap in the shower as the hot/cold markers had worn off a bit.

Fordeler: Staff made a big effort to make sure all was good. Room very comfortable and clean. Free breakfast a nice touch. Really good price for the above

Fordeler: Friendly welcome, and a cosy atmosphere. Great location in the country but only 10 minutes from my work in MK. I'd love to come back when evenings are a but lighter. Good breakfast served in a relaxed setting. Service and facilities could show some of the fancy chain hotels a thing or two. Overall a refreshing overnight and a great antidote to two days on a business Park.

Ulemper: My room was comfortable and pleasant, with everything I needed. Some of the decor could have done with a refresh, and the sound proofing could be improved, but these were minor issues.

Fordeler: A nice welcome from the lady running the B&B, very accommodating with my late arrival time. The room was warm and cosy.

Ulemper: I think the price is too high given the remote location Would also have expected some good quality shampoo / conditioner in the bathroom at this price point

Fordeler: Accommodation was really nice and great value for money. Would definitely recommend this place

Ulemper: There wasn't anything

Fordeler: The location is perfect for Bletchley Park and it's near to The Alan Turin Computer Science museum. Where the enigma was used to break the second world war codes. #codebreakers

Ulemper: There was water on the inside on the window sills. It was raining so obviously there was a leak as water was coming in.

Fordeler: The location next to the canal was nice, although my room overlooked the car park. It was good to have a fridge. Staff were friendly.

Ulemper: I understand that’s it’s for health reasons, but the pillows were a little too ‘crunchy’ for my liking. The windows were not soundproof, so it was quite noisy when people were leaving the bar/restaurant.

Fordeler: Good value for the price. Excellent staff

Fordeler: The hotel itself is fine. Similar to a good Travelodge and it's close to the main roads.

Ulemper: Food at the bar next door isn't great.

Fordeler: Comfortable

Ulemper: A bit noisy in the night, the windows don't have very good sound insulation. I was given cartons of milk that had gone off. And they couldn't provide any replacement. TV remote didn't work.

Ulemper: No parking, wardens were out in force at 6.55 ticketing all cars outside your hotel on a sunday morning. I was up at that time but I assume people who stay and have been out the night before will not be up at that time to move their cars or purchase another ticket. Easy target for the parking idiots.

Fordeler: Great location, good beds/mattresses and pillows.

Ulemper: Receptionist demanded payment on arrival and refused to check us in, this went on for 10 minutes before she realized she had made a mistake and that the booking was already paid. Barely an apology. Faulty card entry system, failed 4 times in 24 hours, each time requiring a visit back to reception. Again, barely and apology, seemed like it was routine. Breakfast is OK, but staff rushed and tables left uncleared once guests leave.

Fordeler: Stayed there before new what to expect Lovely room

Ulemper: I called the hotel to ask for an earlier check in but nothing was available so I accepted this... I get to the hotel to check in an hour after my check in time 16:00 and the room still wasn’t ready! The lady on the desk assures me they will get it done! I was out for the rest of the evening and when I came back at 23:30 the room still had not been done. My son was asleep and I couldn’t put him to bed. I call for assistance to set up the bed and we was left with a bed with no sheet and offered a quilt with no cover on!! For paying what we paid for one night the service was shocking! I was aware of the limited staff on this particular night but no one who has paid for a hotel room should be lacking in lining and basic service!!! Outrageous!! I travel back to Milton Keynes a lot but I will never stay here again!!!

Fordeler: lovely and clean and comfortable

Fordeler: This hotel was fab. Rooms were clean and beautifully presented. They had all bits and bobs you would expect. Tea n coffee facilities, hairdryer, toiletries, iron n board plus extra pillows. The bed was extremely comfortable and a good night's sleep was had. Breakfast was included which for this price was excellent. The breakfast inc at this hotel chain was by far the best one. A huge variety of tasty, quality food to suit all palettes.

Ulemper: There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.

Fordeler: Location was excellent and the room was comfortable.

Ulemper: Breakfast is not that good

Fordeler: Lovely country house, as you entered it smelt amazing, a beautiful fire burning and a smiling receptionist. Every member of staff we encountered wished my husband a happy birthday.Our suite was in an outbuilding just across the driveway it was warm,spotless and had everything we needed. Lovely coffee machine , roll top bath with shower attachments in one bathroom, stand in shower in the other. Plenty of seating in the lounge and best of all bright lighting throughout the suite. Oh and an extremely comfy bed. Dinner was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our waitresses service and pleasant chat.

Ulemper: Just a couple of little things, although breakfast was plentiful and varied it was not very hot and the layout of butter and condiments was a bit haphazard. Our shower mat when unrolled had mould on it. Reception assured me it would be disposed of.

Fordeler: Beautiful boutique hotel. Clean and warm and everything we wanted. Staff service was excellent nothing too much trouble.

Fordeler: Room was.good although we heard two other guests complaining at reception that there was no hot water. Buffet breakfast was fine.

Ulemper: We had booked a package which includes Dinner in the price The hotel had not left room in the restaurant for us. Ten minutes later we were told.we could eat there after all whenever we liked. But when we arrived we were told they were fully booked. Eventually we had to accept being seated in the bar. The bar had run out.of.tonic water and both the first two bottles of.wine we tried.to.order from the short wine list were not available. On checkout although it was the same.member of staff as the night before he had clearly forgotten what had happened the night before. No apology was offered and to.make.thinhs worse he tried to charge us for the dinner we had prepaid for as part of the booking Awful

Fordeler: Nice welcoming atmosphere and easy book-in. Nicely appointed bedrooms with very comfortable beds and well appointed bathroom and toiletries . [ Dressing gown and slippers -a nice touch.] Spoilt for choices for breakfast. Extra- nice egg omelette. Attentive staff in restaurant. Cheerful Christmas atmosphere with lovely decorations. A log fire and talented pianist in the lounge . Manager and all staff all went out of their way to welcome guests and were very helpful . A very pleasant countryside hotel yet in easy reach of Milton Keynes shopping complex

Ulemper: Small problem with TV quickly remedied by exchange for a newer model.

Fordeler: Lovely building and in a great location.

Ulemper: WiFi was a bit hot and miss in the room and some furniture could do with a tiny bit of TLC but really just finishing touches could be more refined. For the money it was exceptional value though!!

Ulemper: It just takes ages at the reception to check in or check out. Very annoying!

Fordeler: Good food in the restaurant. Peaceful area.

Ulemper: The room was quite compact for a twin room, but it was described as small. The toilet and cistern were quite wobbly. Unfortunately, I didn't check beforehand on what time breakfast was served on a Sunday, which was at 8:00 am. As we were going to Silverstone which has large queues from 8:00 am it wasn't convenient to stay for breakfast. This was the case for all the other guests staying who were staying who also going to Silverstone and also missed having their breakfast. It was disappointing that the landlord didn't offer to move breakfast to an earlier time to suit all the guests and would possibly have generated more business in the future.

Ulemper: Friendly, good food,

Fordeler: Food was very good - in the evening and at breakfast. Proprietor and staff was very helpful and friendly. the pub had a good atmosphere and served very good real ale. Highly recommended and very good value.

Ulemper: Nothing to complain about really at this price point!

Fordeler: Last time I stayed I had a modern room, well designed, clean, decent Tv and WiFi. This time I was put in the ‘cottage’ it felt like a punishment! Same price?! Ulemper: I stayed in the cottage, I do not recommend staying in this building. The room looked like a back room of a pub. Big tv, but old and remote control was dirty with cello tape holding the batteries in. The room was quite clean, however at the side of the bed there was a think layer of dust and hair

Fordeler: Lovely venue, comfortable and good value. The staff are just so naturally friendly and helpful. We had a great time there.

Ulemper: Nothing really

Fordeler: This place is perfect for a weekend of shopping. Right across the road and you are in the massive Intu shopping centre. Rooms were nice and the breakfast was great!

Ulemper: Parking was expensive and for the price should be included. Also if you don’t get a spot in the hotel car park annoying online parking payments take too long to figure out.

Fordeler: Last minute booking and when I arrived, check in was quick and simple. Very friendly lady checked us in. Room was clean, comfy and had everything we needed.

Ulemper: I couldn’t turn the tap back from bath to shower!

Fordeler: We had a suite. The only thing I liked was the coffee machine in the room.

Ulemper: We found spiders crawling in the room on two occasions. It was tight quarters for a suite. They kept the window open of the workout facility. It has no room to do any stretching etc. and keeping the window open accumulated all the moisture on the floor and equipment making it very difficult to exercise.

Ulemper: the sofa bed was very uncomfortable . Need better quality sofa beds

Fordeler: Most Staff attentive. The Lobby was Fresh and Airy. The Bar looked Chic. Swimming Pool and Sauna always a plus. I would stay again but when the kids are at school....

Ulemper: The Room looked tired. Cleaning could have been better. Could hear children running up and down the corridors late in the evening and early in the morning...but disturbing. The Entrance a bit off putting as loads of people outside smoking. Not pleasant.

Fordeler: Breakfast was good. Excellent swimming. No Jacuzzi.

Ulemper: No Jacuzzi

Fordeler: The restaurant was nice and the food was good. The breakfast was fantastic.

Ulemper: Shared bathroom. Someone had a bath and was using the bathroom for over an hour and a half. Other than that, there were dogs barking and people arguing all night in the car park - we notified staff and nothing was done. Hardly slept at all. As it is a pet friendly hotel staff should be more vigilant of housing guests with pets. Their emergency number is pointless if you use it and nothing happens.

Fordeler: A quaint Tudor? Inn in a fabulous location in the centre of Woburn Village. Friendly staff. Two nights at the weekend was only £110!

Ulemper: The food was dreadful - cheap, frozen starter sharing platter. Frozen fish and chewy porcini in the risotto (we weren’t charged for that) Wine by the bottle was good, but by the glass not so much - I think the bottle had been open for some time.

Fordeler: Comfortable stay in an old country inn. Loads of character mixed with clean living. Polite staff and great breakfast.

Ulemper: Nothing negative to say

Fordeler: Really old historic building with many quirks which was interesting. Friendly staff and breakfast was great. They have just updated their WiFi and the connection was great. Would definitely recommend!

Ulemper: Bathroom was too cold to shower, and water only tepid.

Fordeler: Quite little village with nothing else around but the pub so not much in the way of passing traffic. Staff very friendly and chatty, local dog friendly too. Excellent cooked breakfast.

Ulemper: The shared bathroom and toilet. Some of the clients don't know what a toilet brush is for and didn't care that others were staying there too.

Fordeler: Size was fine. was fairly clean.

Ulemper: The facilities were awful but if I select just that as a negative it will still give a rating of 4.5 so I chose the sad face for a few things! This was not a 4.5. Firstly, I was not expecting a shared bathroom as this was not advertised. it was advertised as a standard room. I would call a bathroom fairly standard. the walls were paper thin and I could hear the person next door as if there was no wall. It was not unclean and I have never complained but this was embarrassingly bad for £60. We considered moving but just went out for dinner instead.

Fordeler: Perfect for our needs for visiting relatives close by, beautiful picturesque little village with very friendly and helpful staff. Both the breakfasts and evening meals were excellent, would definitely use this location again if the need arose in the future.
