silent, clean poor breakfast, dark room
The front desk was great, big thanks to Jiovani who assisted often with getting around and travelling advise. The bus and train stations are very close. The heating is not great especially in the bathroom. The shower is very small. The hand/small towels are terrible. The location is not great, lots of street people and a feeling of unsafety.
hotel is fab really stylish, rooms are very spacious and plenty of nice extras and would recommend the corner room, great breakfast lots of variety and even had champers on offer!!!!!and lovely roof terrace. funny smell in bathroom and dinner was a bit disappointing.
Every single facility was clean and fine. No problem with using hotel. Nothing special, but wifi is too pricey.
The room was very nice and the hotel was close to the station. The information we were given by the staff about an excursion to Pompay
Close to Railway Station in Napoli The Bathroom smelt bad.
the size of room..and the "trendy' decor There was one front desk staff, that was "trying to be funny" but was rather rude. He assume many things, not very proffessional. Thankfully I have a good sense of humour, otherwise I would have been more put off than I was.
While the location was poor, the proximity to the train station was great The location and the trash in the streets. Not really the hotel's fault however.
Open garden at roof level We could not get served a dinner one night, told it would be 10minutes, 45 minutes later no menu given or water or an up date, waiters very scarcastic as we left, laughed at us and said Bye bye. Noise from street terrible, horns beeping all nite, extremely dirty outside hotel, staff on reception unhelpful, perhaps very little english, didn't understand us. Very poor selection of english speaking TV programmes. Internet access, no printer, very slow.
the design the prices for drinks at the bar up theterrece are far too high!!!
The service of the staff was great. The food and room facilities were all of a very good quality. Nicely decorated hotel. The hotel is on Piazza Garibaldi, next to the train station and a bit noisy. This area of Naples is very dirty and to say the least tends to detract from the hotel which was the best out of the 10 hotels in Italy we have stayed in so far.
Overall the hotel and room were very nice. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. Also, the restaurant was very nice for lunch and dinner. I was here to present at a conference and the conference rooms of the hotel were nice and they provided folders, papers, pens, and water for participants. The hotel was right next to the central metro station which was very convenient to get on the metro and do some sightseeing. However, I don't think this hotel is in a "tourist area" and it is more where the locals go to catch the bus and the metro. The hotel is in a sketchy area and the room I had was noisy. I would not go out after dark. I was sexually harassed on the street one night while I was trying to get dinner. During the day was okay though. The room was also cold at night and no matter what setting I put the thermostat at the temperature never changed. The tv and treadmill in the fitness center did not work. Also, the business center was not available due to renovations. In addition, I asked the front desk staff what/where there was to sightsee and I was just given a city map with no indication of where things were located. The woman just circled a broad area of the map and told me to go there. That was not helpful at all.
Excellent location, clean room and good breakfast. Extremely small room with very soft/worn mattress, safe deposit box in room does not work and extremely small shower stall (can't even bend down).
Small balcony overlooking city. Decent bathroom Service was abrupt almost to rudeness. Breakfast was poor - cold coffee and stale pastries. Ripped off by the taxi that the hotel called for us.
Internet access was an important feature of my choice of hotel, and this was inoperative for my stay, which as it was a business trip caused great inconvenience. On a more general point, I feel it ridiculous that wi-fi access should be charged for in addition to standard room rates, it is now such a general requirement, an essential.
very good ground floor staff... ie reception and concierge lot of construction work outside hotel
fitness room, parking poor breakfast, location
The best part is the location - right across from the train station. You can walk with your luggage directly to the hotel. The rooms were well appointed, spacious bathrooms, separate room for luggage - which was a plus.
Bed was super comfy, the rooms were very clean, shower was hot and had good water pressure, the included breakfast was amazing! Only thing not so good about this hotel is the location. Right next to the central train station, which is convenient, however the area is sketchy. Lots of pickpockets
We dropped some cash in the lift and a staff picked it up and sent it back to us even before we realised it. His honesty should be commended! Housekeepers woke us up every morning at around 9:30am. Perhaps they could do the rooms at around 11 am without waking up the guests.
(1) Excellent location. 2 mins' walk from the station!! , (2) Cleanses of hotel lobby and (3) neat breakfast hall. Receptionist service could be better.
Very good location, between railway station and old streets. The hotel is in a small street, rather quiet in spite of the central location. The internal decoration is handsome, service is good in general. Naples is an inexpensive city, with fantastic cultural heritage (the old streets, Vesuvio, Pompei, Herculanum -- and the National Archeological Museum, don't miss the wonderful Roman frescoes!). The washbasin (water draining) in the bathroom was a little bit blocked. Breakfest is rather miserable (a very common thing in Italy). But above all, Napoli's streets are nowadays full of rubbish heaps (problem with the Mafia). But this is not a problem of this hotel in particular.
The feature i liked best was the informal atmosphere. There was nothing to dislike.
Near Stazione Centrale Hotel is not 300 metres from the train station as stated, closer to 1km. Reception was rude and unprofessional, room was dirty as was the bathroom. Very ugly decor. Breakfast was terrible, waiter was possibly mentally retarded, more concerned about getting people's room number than remembering their coffee orders. The only friendly staff at the hotel is the cleaners. Avoid at all costs.
Well equipped and clean room, good service and a kind and helpful staf. Breakfast buffet not sufficient to our standard.
The hotel is close to the railway station and not far from the historical center. very dangerous location! Familiarity and rudeness of the staff. One night the receptionist rushed into the room without any warning or knocking about 5am! it's outrageous! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone to stay at this hotel! If only for one night to take the train to another place
Very nice room at a reasonable price. Staff very helpful and friendly It is located in a horrible area!
Staff was very friendly The hotel is in a bad location
Nice, renovated hotel. Very unpleasant surroundings.
The hotel was like an oasis. Very good, modern design, very comfortable roome and a delightful courtyard in the middle of a so-so area of Naples. I can't think of anything.
In my opinion, this hotel is very good. The people working in this hotel are very warm-hearted and very professional. I feel very happy to stay here for one week.
Excellent all round Just the location with all the rubbish on the streets !
Breakfast is good
Breakfast is fantastic. The hotel has a big courtyard and view from the room is nice. The interior is also cool. The hotel is renovated an old nobles mansion, and we could relax in spite of the outer noisy area. I didn't feel the area safe especially at night. Far from the central station and Naples port.
Nice and quiet, they must have put a lot of effort into soundproofing. The building is very elegant. Receptionists are a bit offhand, but that seems to be the Naples style.
Excellent value for money, beautiful design and very comfortable rooms. Situated close to the central train station and the area around looks a bit dodgy.
Alt i alt veldig bra. Sentralt og prisverdt
Old, but clean. The restaurant in the hotel was OK but not more than that
I especially liked the location and the staff all spoke English and were very helpful and accommodating. I would not hesitate to go back again. I loved the breakfast buffett, and I especially liked the security. I can't think of anything I did not like about Hotel Pizza Bellini.
Avante garde in safe neighborhood of Naples. 15 mins to airport. Room was tremendous, clean and comfrotable.
We liked the location, the comfort and the design of the hotel. It is a really good value for money We only regret the limited number of TV programmes (no international broadcast but only italian
the hotel location was perfect (near major sight but in a less hectic neighbourhood); the resturant next door was recommendable; overall room was confortable one can see quite some design efforts into it but some basic can be better maintained (e.g. the breakfast room was a bit dirty after first round), the room given to us was facing the major street which is a bit noisy and ond had to close window - considering there are so many rooms facing the inner yard and we had booked 4 nights in a row, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't give us a nicer room (but was too lazy to complaint after the first night)
Large, modern, air conditioned room; friendly, helpful staff. Difficult to find entrance.
The hotel facilities are good and clean, despite the fact that the building is old. It is located in the center of the city, at walking distance from de Museum and restaurants. The breakfast is very poor. Excellent for one night stay.
The room was clean. The location was also good. Breakfast nice but area a little small One of the hotel staff was not helpful at all with site seeing question as we only had one day and wanted to make the best out with a day tour. She really didn't help, and was asking us what we wanted to see rather than telling us what is there to see. Yet another person in the evening was very helpful. Wish we could talk to him in the morning. He sent us to one of the best sites of Naples allowing us to have a panoramic view
1. the room I had was very spacious 2. they had a fast ethernet connection in my room and an ethernet cord. 3. there was a shared computer available 4. lots of storage space 5. about 15 built in hooks on the walls throughout the room that were very handy actually. 6. very nice multilingual staff 1. my sheets had definitely been washed but there remained a stain. i think that set of sheets should be retired. 2. some of the breakfast rolls were fresh, some were not. 3. the shutters for the window could not close completely, so sunlight came in the room before i was ready to wake up.
Great location - right next to Piazza Bellini and in the heart of Centro Storico. The hotel is an oasis of calmness and neatness in the hectic (and dirty) city.
The location of the hotel was perfect. The free wifi was very useful. The room was a good size with a bath not just a shower. The view from the balcony of both vesuvius and the bay was great. Staff were very freindly and helpful. The breakfast was a little repetative.
Prisgunstig hotell med sentral beliggenhet. Hyggelig betjening, rene rom og meget bra "value for money". Støyende beliggenhet, men dette er jo Napoli.
Hotellet var rimelig og god beliggenhet i forhold til togstasjon. + for gratis internett.
Courtesy bus to and from city centre, convenience of parking our car in a secure garage. We were unable to get a table in the restaurant until 10 pm which is too late - if hotel is particularly busy with large parties etc. perhaps reception could ask if you require a table when checking in or at least explain how busy the hotel is.
The atrium outside of the hotelbar on level 2. No coment
great deal on use of tv/internet; suite was great entrance and view from hotel not very nice and made one inclined to avoid/be fearful of going out
The hotel was fine - not a great location; in what seems to be the business district so not a lot of services around. Found hotel on your website and specifically chose it for airport shuttle service. After walking around the airport and lugging a heavy suitcase, I was told that there was no shuttle. Then spend considerable time and money to get to the hotel. Overall, it cost me an additional $35 euros for the transportation. If I had known, I would have stayed somewhere less expensive or closer to the metro.
Clean and big room Far from the city center, not easy to walk from the hotel to do night sight seeing
The bed was very comfortable and the room was always cleaned very quickly A four star hotel and the restaurant had the same menu in the restaurant including chefs special for seven nights - diabolical. The streets outside of the business complex were dirty, full of hypodermic needles..
Was typical holiday inn, clean and comfortable.
room interior is very tired looking. location next to a farmers market that opens at 4 am with shouting and horn blowing. depressed area of the city.
Staff were polite and helpful. Restaurant was good, especially the breakfast. The corridors in the accommodation floors were dingy and seriously in need of redecorating as were the rooms. The carpets in the corridors, at least on floors 16 and 20 were absolutely filthy and in a disgusting state. They should have been replaced years ago. The air conditioning unit in room 2008 was virtually useless.
Very attentive staff and maid service. Restaurant rivals most of what I ate in town. Pretty far on foot to public transportation. Not convenient to city center on foot nor to many dining options.
Especially the fantastic breakfast. Be more accurate as to the need of taking taxis into the city centre.
The bed in the room was comfortable. The lifts arrived puctually. The car park attendant was efficient and cooperative. The location of the hotel was dreadful and the instructions from the airport were impossible to follow. The carpets in the common areas were filthy and stained and gave the impression of an establishment which was not looked after.
When I checked in, there was a young lady working the reception area. Mid 20s. She was excellent. I watched her handle diverse clientele with ease. This location would not function as well without her. The internet service stayed down. Hotel restaurant was overpriced for area and for level of service.
Location of hotel was inot in the best area for safety however it was easily accessible to the station.
Breakfast excellent, prices at the bar very reasonable for a hotel Staff too officious, not warm to deal with. This is a good hotel, Napoli in particular has a reputation for Italian charm its apity the staff don't show more of this side to guests.
very nice staff, confortable rooms, good price/quality rate
the food in the restaurant was excellent as the services. The room was big and i enjoy my stay. The hotel staff is kind and good. The position of the hotel is perfect for me: in front of the circumvesuviana(the train that take you to pompei, amalfi and Sorrento),near the central station and near many shops!
close to airport
Good location to the train station. Clean & offered free wifi. The location wasn't in the nicest part of the city & there didn't appear to be too much around the hotel.
Friendly and helpful, especially girl at front desk. She gave suggestions of what we could do in Naples. While it is very close to railway station, the area "felt" unsafe.
I liked the proximity to the main railway station, giving easy access to Vesuvius, Pompeii and Sorrento, without the need for a car. The fridge didn't work and the only solution was to repack all our things and move rooms, so we chose to do without.
Big rooms. Very close to rilway station. Dirty locality. Took 48 hours to deliver laundry. Communication gap in English language.
From the moment I checked in, the staff who incidentally are the owners went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and help with any questions that I had in regards to travelling around the city and sites to see. The room itself is kept immaculately clean and the view from the room was of the beautiful gardens. I strongly recommend this B&B unfortunately for the duration of my stay there was no Internet.
It is very close the railway station. You can have a good dinner in the restaurant in this hotel. The stuff are not very friendly.
Very close to the Naples Central Railway Station (within walking distance)
location: close to main station, historic center and bus stop for the airport. Cleanliness of the room: excellent! towels: changed everyday! Breakfast: good to excellent for an '' italian breakfast '' ...
the location was excellent, close to train/transport station, very useful if you intend to do a lot of travelling to see all the Roman sights. some of the reception staff could have been a bit more friendly, but apart from that everything was ok.
Helpfulness of desk styaff (reopended car park late at night) \LOcation!
air conditioning was not good... rooms were hot
Nice room, proffessional and very kind personal
We only stayed one night as we were in sorrento and we had an early flight home so it was convienient for us to stay here. It was close to the train station and Alibus to the airport which we used. The breakfast could have been better, no fresh fruit only tinned, the bread in the basket was hard and we had to wait until it was filled again, the machine for coffee was very slow and people had to queue to use it. Overall the hotel was nice and clean, our room was nice but bathroom very small. Because our room was at the front of hotel we could not open the window as the noise from the traffic was unbearable ( not the hotel's fault) so it was good that there was air con. If we had to do an overnight stay in Naples again we would stay here . Not a good selection at the breakfast, very noisy hotel as a lot of traffic outside.
Big room, nice and clean, breakfast was ok, staff was helpful, computer with free internet access on the lobby, all advertised facilities were available, very good location if you want to travel around Naples - close to Circumvesuviana main station, close to the trains station, relatively close to port, bus stop for airport just around the corner, buses that take you to the city center have the main station very close to the hotel The neighborhood looks a little frightening (although we got used to it after the first too days, and there was no danger after all...:-))), rooms with windows on Corso Meridionale are very noisy, we had some trouble sleeping.
i liked the value for money, breakfast, helpfullness of staff, location to metro, stayed for 3 nights in order to see naples, pompeii & vesuvius, so was perfect for that purpose
Great location, ideal for train station, loved the terrace overlooking the rooftops of Naples while enjoying breakfast. Nothing
The hotel was OK. Location close to the Pizza Garibaldi. The breakfast was OK (bread, jam, ham, juice, hot milk and so on). The room was ok (same as the picture). Sometimes there was a noise from other rooms (paper wall).
Staff was really kind and helpful. View from guest rooms. As a buffet breakfast it was quite poor, almost like continental breakfast.
Very friendly staff, we've got a lot of useful info, regarding what places and restaurants to visit, anwswers on all our questions. Beatiful garden and nice breakfasts. WiFi worked well (it was very important for us). We were surprised to have a shower in a separate room as we've expected private shower in our bedroom. However it is not the big issue
the friendly and helpful staff central position Basic facilities, basic breakfast, rough locality
The view of the city can be reached in my room. We enjoy the comfortable atmosphere breakfast time every morning. The contact point for travelling to nearby cities / in town sightseeing is exellent. The air-conditioner controlled by hotel staff instead of by user. No guide map nor travelling information (e.g. public transportation in town and nearby cities ) provided from the hotel. It is quite inconvenient for the first-time visitor. The temperature of the refigerator in room is too high to keep food and breverage
Great Hotel but I will never again go to Naples ! It was great to leave that terrible place. Anyone reading this......Don't go !!!!
The recepcionist were very kind of me The breakfest is very poor.
The hotel has excellent location coz you don't need to go far from the station with all your luggage, It's situated just at Piazza Garibaldi. The room was clean and of normal size. I'd recommend this hotel for weekend trips as it's cheap, good-located and clean. Our room was next to the canteen where breakfast was served, so every morning at 7 am we were woken up by the endless Italian talking!!!
location, windows into a courtyard - so very quiet, friendly staff, laid back poor breakfast
One of the girls working at the reception was very friendly and cheerful, even though she didn`t speak English Where to start? Twice in 4 days we had no hot water. Only one of the hotel staff spoke good English. Very, very poor breakfast and even worse coffee. It was very noisy, both outside and inside the hotel. They don`t deserve 3 stars, it was more like 1,5. The area is like whole Naples - dodgy.
Very good value for money. Owner insisted on us having breakfast, even though we got up too late! Front desk check in was not very friendly.
very helpful staff
Clean hotel and very friendly staff, Nice neighbourhood.
The staff was very friendly and willing to help us with all of our random questions. I also loved that the hotel was air conditioned, as it is in Naples, which can be very hot. The water pressure in the shower was very bad after the first day. However, we did not mention it to the staff, so they may have been able to remedy it if we had asked. (We were only there for 3 days.)
the warm breads and croissants A liitle more on the breakfast would be nice
Relaxed atmosphere. Good price. Friendly, helpful staff.
Coffee especially good. Made properly for a change!
Hotel is located near the National Archeological Museum, the Duomo and other churches of interest, and the Cavour Metro Station. The two rooms that I occupied -- the first room was vacated to allow bathroom repairs to proceed -- were quiet. Free wifi, with good reception in the breakfast area and in rooms located near breakfast area. Rooms are small.
