The view is incredible; so is the building, which retains lots of its historical charm. The breakfast is ample and well done on a huge terrace overlooking Naples. They play pop and elevator music pretty loudly at the pool during the day. The internet service requires that you re-enter the password constantly. Both of these things were pretty annoying.
The view is very nice, the swimming pool astonishing ! They mention 4 hour room service but there is no room service menu, and you can order until 22.30
Is a different experience to be hosted in a Monastery the location is really bad
staff was friendly and accomodating. the view from the hotel and room was incredible
Very weird vibe.
Staff is very friendly, like architecture and interior.
Silence (no traffic noise) in the night time, decent bed - could sleep properly Only one restaurant of three mentioned actually available (off season, of course). Some facilities, such as TV, bathing equipment or cupboards, in relatively poor condition/quality.
location, high above the busy city of Naples with a fantastic view and easy access via funicular down into the city. Great restaurant and pool area on rooftop. Don't book a room on the same floor as the function room as there are lots of noisy weddings.
beautiful old building well restored. Quiet but easy to get to the city.
Our room, room 56.
The restaurant on the terrace was magnificent. Good food and excellent service. The room with our terrace and bathroom were tastefully designed. Porter service was efficient.
View of Naples was great, from roof top terrace, and restaurant Bathroom was in horrible condition. Lights not working, heavy mold and mildew growth in bathroom, bathtub broken and in disrepair
Great decor, location, and friendly service. The whole place feels grand and otherworldly. Very tasteful.
Service & Location
Fabulous, character filled, old world style but with up to the minute luxury. The most beautiful hotel bedroom overlooking the Bay of Naples. If our holiday had finished after our stay at Grand Hotel Parkers, I would have still been happy! We got directions from the car hire company at Naples airport, which were pretty direct, however we later followed the hotels own sign posting which took us through hair-raising narrow side streets! Next day we drove the easiest route away from the hotel and down to Pompeii, so just get good directions!
We arrived at the hotel around lunch time and found a very warm welcome with a simple check in and were shown to our room to find a lovely bottle of wine and some cakes awaiting. During our stay we found all the staff very helpful. We visited the hotel resturant on our last evening and had a very enjoyable meal.
Great location with panoramic views of the city. I believe it is trading on a great name but needs a little over hall. Dinner was great Bit of a walk / taxi ride to other places. Dreadful bathroom manager needs to stay in the room to see that there is no light available while in the shower. Shower dated could be turned around and there would be a fine shower space
old fashioned and charming.
almost nothing) 3 star in realitty- small rooms, old looking, bad location
The views from the restaurant, bar and roof terrace, looking over the Bay of Naples, is quite superb. Our own room, situated at the side of the hotel, had no view. However, those rooms with a frontal position all have excellent views.
the reception was wonderful there was mould in the bathroom and the bed had springs poking from it. the room service cost was 54 euro for a salad and sandwich...ridiculous
The locations was very good and the buffet breakfast was also very good. The other hotel amenities were mediocre and the hotel was understaffed. The decor in the rooms needs updating. There were stains on the bedspread and the chair was broken.
Enjoyable stay, away from the busy part of the city. Great view over the bay
