Lav standard.
Very friendly staff. Breakfast was nothing special.
Nice located close to center, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Room were not having something special (tv was not working) but there was free internet access and were convinient.
Staff is very friendly, the cleaning was ok and it has TV, kettel, and some other facilites Rooms are relative small and the toilet and the shower are pushed together!
My flight was cancelled and I had to spend the night in town. I found the hotel via Booking.com and it was an excellent solution to my problem.
I found the hotel very homley and relaxing and surprisingly very silint for the city center, the staff were very nice also, I would visit again[ no boder] thats a wexford word. Nothing
Reception staff excellent. Queue for breakfast.
the location very handy for the dublin marathron the room very cold and not enought hot water for the bath. plus was told beakfast was at 7 but they didn't let me know that on bank hol mondays it's start at 8. so all i could get was bowl of cornfalkes before the marathron
nothing, felt very uncomfortable the room was frezzing and dirtymy wife got sick from the breakfast, staff were helpfull thats the only positive about this hotel,
Staff were very friendly and helpful.Layout of the hotel was quaint and finding different areas was an adventure !!
The staff were very helpful, nice rooms and great breakfast. Hotel bar had great vatmosphere. Enjoyable staff. Would recommend to friends. N/A
It was a pleasant stay, made nicer by the staff.
The receptionist was very friendly on arrival. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. We required directions in the morning and the receptionist was more than helpful. Great location as it is so central to the city.
very comfortable hotel and top class breakfast television did not work in room had to contact recption, having said that he sorted it out immediately. but funny next day the t.v. did not work after 10.30am.
Great location for matches at the Aviva Stadium. Car parking at rear is excellent. Easy directions to get from Cork road.
Even though this is a large hotel, it has a very homey, warm feeling that is truly wonderful. The staff are very helpful. It was also a great help to have a computer for guests to use in the lounge. The hotel offers immediate access to the post office, bank, and shops. No.
Made to feel very welcome and, well attended to at breakfast. Would only suggest that some details are not overlooked for example, loose screws holding things ( i,e bathroom doorknob ) in place
The staff, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the garden, the shower, the bus stop.
The location was ideal for me as I was visiting my daughter who lives nearby. There is also a bus stop outside which makes it convenient to the city centre. I thought the price was rather high for what was offered. The shower was poor and difficult to operate but otherwise service was good.
very comfortable beds. Friendly staff Check out and breakfast times were very early for the weekend. Check out was at 11 am while breakfast finished at 9.30.
Very friendly and helpful staff and a cracking breakfast !
personal touch of hotelier
We had a very cosy and quiet room. The hotel is nicely located not too close to the busy city centre, with good parking and excellent breakfast.
It was comfortable and well maintained
Location and access to city centre, on site parking, value for money, very friendly and helpful owners , lovely dining room and breakfast was great.
Accommodation very comfortable and management and staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Homemade cooked breakfast delicious. Would definitely recommend starying at the Ardagh House.
Lovely place - clean and comfortable, in a nice and quiet area. A couple of minutes walk to bus stops with buses to the city centre and to the airport. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was BRILLIANT! I missed the possibility to make coffee in the single room. This makes no big difference though, I'm still more than happy with my stay!
The personal approach of the friendly staff
Very warm reception
Friendly staff, comfortable bed and an excellent breakfast
Lovely accommodation and the service was excellent. We were really made to feel welcome. Very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent. A little out of town; however, a short bus journey of 1.60 euros was adequate for a weekend trip. Taxi fares are expensive to and from the airport.
Keith was a wonderful, considerate and efficient host. The breakfast was excellent - we tried something different from the menu for each of the 4 days we were there - yummy! We liked the decor, furnishings and architecture which was traditional and authentic. We felt that this added to our overall experience.
Pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. Room well appointed.
Warm welcome and outstanding hospitality!
The hotel was clean, and the rooms were well presented. The breakfast was very nice. The owner was very courteous and made our stay a very pleasant one no
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful- had a problem with double reservation - they tried their best to rectify situation Nothing
The Hotel was clean, quiet, within walking distance of the city centre. Ideal for a city break at a reasonable price.
It was in Dublin! The location was too far from the centre
Clean tidy room with unobtrusive polite cleaning staff, helpfull front desk staff. limited TV channels.
confortable room Bathroom did not have any shower gel or shampoo, staff not exceptionally friendly and unprepared (weren't able to explain me how to get to the airport by car!...)
The main reason we stayed at this Hotel was the location. I did not like the fact there is no in house eating or drinking facility
Nothing, room was poor, had to change room because of the first one flooded the room when we took a shower because it was a disabled room and the walkin shower plug hole didn't work, the second room heating didn't work and we was freezing all night, not a good experience in this hotel. Poor staff.
clean rooms, not too bad location, 20 mins from temple bar there was no restaurant, just a breakfast room which served continental breakfast when prebooked.
Location was very convenient for the city, walkable distance but also right on bus route, room adequate
Freedom to come and go when ever you like and 24 hour staffing
the hotel staff, the fair price, the location of the hotel (not too far from dublin city centre, the room cleaning
Our host, Nina, was so sweet! She helped us out however we needed and made delicious breakfasts. Our room was nice and we had our own bathroom, like a hotel. Rathgar is a cute little town that had a couple of pubs and restaurants, and a grocery store, which helped out a lot. There were several bus stops nearby, so it was really easy to hop on and get a ride into Rathmines or the City Centre. Overall, great stay! The thing that we didn't like most was that we had to pay in cash. We didn't have much cash handy so that was a struggle to get.
