Fordeler: Svært sentral beliggenhet. Kunne gå til det meste. Frokosten levde ikke opp til det vi hadde lest av tidligere anbefalinger. Det var nok og vi spiste oss mett, men utvalget var lite og frokosten kunne vært organisert bedre (kø)

Ulemper: Bestilt dobbelseng for 2 personer. Fikk en smal seng med en dyne.... men fikk oppgradert det dagen etterpå. Det var positivt. Vegg til veggteppe på rommet var ikke bra. Døra til badet kunne ikke stå åpen av seg selv ...

Fordeler: God frukost. Hyggelig personell. Gode senga, også seng nr.3. God ventilasjon. Stille og sentralt.

Ulemper: Ok

Ulemper: Poor sound isolation between rooms... Could hear our next room neighbors When someone shuts their door, it makes ours move with a lot of noise

Fordeler: Store fine rom, hyggelig personale og god frokost. Bra beliggenhet med nærhet til det meste.

Ulemper: Burde vært kjøleskap eller minibar på rommet

Fordeler: Beautiful! Great location. Many convenances. Only bar/restaurant open on Christmas Day.

Fordeler: Location, cleanliness of the room, every person that works there. Especially Sean at the front desk, Andrea at the restaurant/breakfast area and Alan at the bar.

Ulemper: Nothing

Ulemper: Staff lovely but the hotel is outdated.

Fordeler: Location and value for money on room and breakfast given the location

Ulemper: The deal with the parking, hotel should be able to cover full parking for guests, Eu20 for the stay is still not good enough.

Fordeler: Great staff, presentable room lovely breakfast selection

Ulemper: A little noise on a night time and temperature of the room was too hot on an evening. A little wear and tear in the room but nothing too bad to complain.

Fordeler: The breakfast was reasonably priced and perfect for filling us up for the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very centrally located for walking just about anywhere, but it wasn’t too close to bars and restaurants so it was quiet.

Fordeler: Location was really good and the place was very clean. If you wanted to eat meals at the hostel and spend a lot of your time there, it's a nice place for that, although overpriced as far as hostels go (even in Dublin). Definitely a party hostel but I was just surprised at how expensive it is.

Ulemper: Staff were really unhelpful and made my stay somewhat negative.

Fordeler: Great location, right beside the luas. Staff were very nice

Ulemper: Kunne veldig gjerne hatt grovt brød til frokosten.

Fordeler: Clean

Ulemper: No kitchen facilities, only either male or female showers on the floor, unsocial atmosphere, they put tourists and locals or even groups of them (who are usually reckless) in the same room.

Fordeler: The facilities are modern and relatively clean. Rooms are well maintained and mattresses are pretty comfortable. The bar area is nice and live music is a plus. Building and rooms are also secure. Swipe cards are required to go anywhere and there’s security at the door.

Ulemper: Upon arrival, the staff was more concerned with being cool than with being courteous. Morning staff was much better. What rubbed me the wrong way about this place is that they fail to provide any kind of secure storage for even the smallest of items. There are lock boxes under the beds, but require you bring your own padlock or pay a ridiculous amount of money to use the luggage storage in the basement. Plan ahead or snuggle your valuables. Also, no outside food is allowed. Strange for a hostel. The reason given is that plenty of food is available on site for purchase. Most things on the menu were expensive for a backpacker. The restaurants and supermarket across the way are the best options. Also, the provided shower gel dispenser is always empty and make sure you double check the toilet paper before you sit down. This place clearly has its eye on being trendy to attract the young, party crowd. It’s nothing similar to what backpackers are used to from every other hostel on the planet and fails to provide the community experience and chance to meet new people that solo travelers look for. Considering the price isn’t even on the lower end, there are better places in Dublin.

Fordeler: Location and atmosphere were fun.

Ulemper: I can’t say too much here since it IS a hostel, but the walls and doors are very thin and you can hear the loud, drunk patrons coming in all night. It made for a good daytime nap, but not the best nights sleep.

Fordeler: Fabulous value for the money. €52 for two people in a spotlessly clean double private room w bathroom. Right in Smithfield steps away from great restaurants, cinema, pubs cafes and live Irish Music. Right above the Jameson Brewery Tasting Rooms. Laundry facilities, on site pub and cafe and luggage storeage. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, warm and quiet. Felt very safe also.

Ulemper: Nothing. It was all good!

Fordeler: Beds and bathrooms were clean and all facilities were up to the mark for such a low price.

Ulemper: Maybe put a USB port for charging near beds if one doesn’t have a wall socket charger

Fordeler: Good value for the time. City center, Nice pub with good foods.

Fordeler: Was an awful experience

Ulemper: Staff were untrustworthy, they said it was the hostels policy to keep empty rooms closed and to fill the rest, which is a poor policy. I was switched rooms a radiator they could not turn off older obese snorers in another room was horrible.

Fordeler: The staff here is absolutely wonderful and very friendly! You can ask for suggestions on places to go and things see and to do and they give out detailed descriptions on what you should expect to experience at each destination! The Night Staff was equally wonderful! To my surprise the night guards/security we're very friendly and helpful and happy to give good directions to near by places. The bartenders are cheerful, funny and have great suggestions for local restaurants and nightlife activities. The reception team is outstanding! They are warm and welcoming and available 24/7! They can help you with any delemas or concerns may come up during your stay. On my next trip to Dublin I will stay at the generator and the staff has a HUGE part to play in desire to book a room with the generator again!

Ulemper: The only things that I can complain about is the fact that the laundry room often has a line waiting because the dryers take too long to dry. Just for one load it can take up to two to three hours before your clothes become dry, but even then they may not be dry and this leaves people will still be waiting to take their turn while their clothespecially sit soaking wet. Also the bar could be open later.

Fordeler: It's a hip place, the rooms are clean, and the staff were externally helpful in helping me track down my wallet that I had left in a taxi.

Ulemper: Nothing, the place was great. There were some annoying persons staying there, but that's to be expected and it's not the hostel's fault.

Ulemper: Freezing staff at reception miserable

Fordeler: Det var et rimelig hotell med veldig sentral beliggenhet. Interiøret var veldig bra med flotte farger på veggene.

Ulemper: Det var ingen opplysning om hva og hvordan man skulle forskyne seg med frokost.

Fordeler: The staff on reception were all very pleasant and extremely helpful.The location was perfect for us, close to the gig venue we were booked for. It was reasonably priced for Dublin (but not cheap), comfortable and clean. Beds and towels were fine.

Ulemper: The shower room bathroom was overlooked by another building (hotel?) with no curtain on the window. The frosted glass allowed for privacy from the ground floor level but not from the five stories looking down on us. Breakfast choices were pretty limited.

Fordeler: I didn't like anything.

Ulemper: I have lost my Mobile Samsung C9 Pro at this kinley house there is no security at all to your stuff at this place. The manager doesn't care about the theft also there is no CCTV cameras at your place so as to track such activities. Don't go with cheaper price go for the other more secure place so that you didn't face such a terrible situation.

Fordeler: Kinlay house is located in a great area, near many of Dublin's main sights. I would definitely stay here again. Never felt unsafe or uncomfortable.

Ulemper: The rooms were a tad cold, as well as the bathroom. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also not the best. Someone had thrown up in the bathroom, and it was left for most of the day.

Fordeler: Avalon House is full of amenities and friendly travelers - the perfect place to stay in Dublin. Nice, clean facilities with a delicious free breakfast! Play pool with new friends, eat cheap by cooking in the huge kitchen, go on the free walking tours, use the free tablets, sleep in comfortable beds, and be close to all the wonderful sights Dublin has to offer.

Ulemper: No complaints here - I've already recommended Avalon House to all my friends!

Fordeler: It was walking distance to Trinity College, Temple Bar and many of the sites in Dublin.

Ulemper: This place was disgusting! The room was dirty, the bathroom smelled moldy and the carpet was so nasty, we were afraid to walk on it without shoes. Additionally, we almost got stuck in the lift because it was broken, but no one bothered to put up a sign! We were there for 3 days, and it was broken the entire time we stayed there. We never saw any maintenance people even attempting to repair it. This place was not family friendly as indicated!!
