Service was impeccable. Facilities were well kept, rooms were beautiful. A bit pricey without a discount, but absolutely amazing.
Outstanding customer service from staff at all access points. I also appreciated that while they do have an award-winning fine dining restaurant, there was also a more cost-effective cafe within the hotel for more simple breakfast and lunch options. The location is a plus; we have stayed at other hotels closer to the water but we wanted to be further in the heart of downtown to be closer to art gallery & shopping; Rosewood Hotel Georgia was perfect. Thank you Kayak for making luxury a little more affordable!

Everything was delightful, except for figuring out the parking, which was also expensive, as all downtown parking is. Perfect location, lovely staff, extremely comfortable rooms. And to think we almost stayed at the Four Seasons! That we didn't get to stay longer!
Super comfy bed. Great location. Room service was great but pricey. Tried to checkin at 240 when guaranteed is 3pm. Didn't have our room ready till 4pm. I had to inquire 3 times with 3 different people whom all assured us they would call or text me and inform guest services manager. Didn't happen. Bags took another 40 mins longer to come up as they insisted on delivering. Executive suite was nice but only 7th floor. Bad view of pool/buildings. Outdated inside suite. Mismatched door hardware and odd bath/shower setup. No soaker tubs. Won't be back in future. Considering Hotel Georgia or Westin or Pan Pacific.
Fantastic customer service, staff friendly but professional. Bed incredibly cozy, just what I needed after a long flight from France. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Hotel is walking distance from Granville Island, Stanley Park, and the Aquarium. Close to great restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant is excellent.
I arrived at 2.0 pm and asked for my room, but it wasn't ready until 4.0pm. I reserved a deluxe suite with downtown view,but I got one with a swimming pool view. It was a bit challenging to get my room.
Called 3 times to try to stop and retrieve a phone charger. Put on hold for too long, name,phone number and email taken. Promises to get back. no follow through 3 times. finally just bought a new charger before my next stop. You would think that a 5 stare $400/night would have a system for collecting, marking and storing items left in rooms.
The restaurant at Four Seasons had a delicious breakfast and the bed was super comfortable! The hotel feels a little old and worn down rather than luxurious, the gym is small, hot-tub was luke warm with no jet power, pool looks nice but it's small and shallow and there were silverfish in the sauna. On top of this I had some thing happen to me personally that didn't make it a great experience overall (things like the cleaning staff didn't come any day I was there).

Aside from being everything I look for in a hotel—quiet, great views, luxuriously comfortable bed, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful architecture and decor throughout—its location really makes it special when it comes to exploring the city. It's perfectly situated along major bus and train routes, and you'll never spend more than a minute or so hailing a cab on the street (which is great, as there's currently no Uber or Lyft). Vancouver's already a super walkable city, but this makes it incredibly easy to get around without a car. Even then, you're never more than a few blocks from great food, art (the Vancouver Art Gallery is across the street), landmarks, parks, entertainment and shopping. It also smells phenomenal. Stay there.
Everything. From the most helpful and friendly staff, all of them, to the attention of waiters, bartenders, up to the Manager who stopped to chat while having breakfast. The room was large and well furnished. Not Applicable.

A truly great boutique hotel in an excellent downtown location.We usually prefer to dine out at night,but could not resist the lure of the wonderful atmosphere & superb food in house.I suspect all staff are highly trained in delivering excellent customer care & certainly they deliver it.The Wedgewood was a wonderful experience over the four nights we spent there. We would be cranks if we did !
Our room was very comfortable &the hotel location was ideal for getting around Vancouver. Meals in dining room were v expensive, especially breakfast & frankly I've had better hash browns at MacDonalds. We had a comparable breakfast at a similar hotel in Seattle that was 25% cheaper & and of better quality by far. I just hate to be taken advantage of in that way. The box of chocolates I received for staying didn't make up for poor food at an outrageous price - even if this is a luxury hotel.

The room and the food. The hotel offered a free breakfast, but there was confusion with the on line booking. The offer system should be clarified. With other hotels offering a free breakfast i.e. Opus Hotel, the on line booking for the coupon was much simpler.The Hotel did honour the free breakfast.

The hotel is centrally placed in the city and an easy walk to most of the major locations. The employees were very helpful. The facilities were clean. The price was very reasonable as well. I would definitely stay here again. Our room in the evening must of had some young kids nearby as music was heard along with laughing and voices through the walls or possibly through the ceiling. That was the only inconvenient part of the stay.
The staff were very kind For the south tower: The Lobby, the entrance and elevators were not four star at all!

Staff is most friendly. Restaurant choices were poor. The only sensible thing to do was get room service which is more costly. Very few options offered at the restaurant as opposed to room service. Parking even for a hotel guest was too pricey. They didn't clean my room the second day.
The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning got the room nice and cold. The room was outdated and not as advertised on the website.
The location was perfect within walking of excellent restaurants and shopping. We also enjoyed the clean spacious rooms and the comfortable beds. The live entertainment in the lounge is always makes for a nice evening. Although we were just visiting the city, our stay at the hotel made the visit better. The staff was most helpful in directing us around the city---even to the Japadog stand near Smithe St. There are no negative comments about our stay at the hotel.
I've stayed at the Sheraton before. The location and value are great I was put off when the woman at the front desk ask me to email her my confirmation receipt upon checking in. In addition, there is a night club very close by that was in full swing until 3am. I was in town for an event and needed to get up at 5. Needless to say, I didn't sleep well.

The staff was pleasant and was very helpful and prompt in correcting my reservation. Telephone assistance was a little slow in response. I had to wait for 3 minutes to be transfered to the appropriate department. I don't understand why the oper could not help with simple inquiries.
Very nice room, staff and facilities. Loved the pool and gym The directions to the hotel should be more specific. The main address of the hotel is on a street which does not have any valet or concierge presence. We had to go inside to figure out how to get to the main car entrance of the hotel. Also, the parking prices (50$ per day) should be mentioned upfront so that there are no surprises
I liked how comfortable the bed was. Had a great night sleep. Pool and gym were nice. We didn't plan our trip but the concierge Sabine was lovely and more than helpful when she gave us a map and told us what my husband and I might enjoy. Great location. Parking is about $40 and wifi was $25. I would suggest this hotel for business men looking for an extended stay. The room smelled a little musty but that is expected for an older hotel.
Comfortable bed and allowed us to check in early and out late. We received a room that looked like it had been added in as an afterthought. Bathroom was extremely cramped and the door did not close, and the view...well if you like looking out the window and seeing a green tarp, this is the room for you. On the positive side, if you need absolute dark at all times of day, it would be perfect.
The staff were very helpful. The location was within walking distance or very close to public transport of all the attractions we were interested in ie bc place for Playdome, science world and the imax There was limited dining choice and what was available was rather expensive for families although the food was excellent; no vending machines and no lobby newsstand or similar where you could purchase snacks or beverages. There was a drug store fairly close or several food courts nearby as well as many restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful place to stay in a great location. Great people and they helped me get a refund from orbits. The bed was not very comfortable - ended up with quite a bit of back pain afterwards. The pool needs some updates too.
The service was impeccable from check in, to concierge, to bartender and wait staff. The lobby and public areas were beautiful as well. The room was large. The room was really run down. The carpet was old, buckling, and had stains all over and the furniture has seen its best days long ago.
The location Way overpriced compared to service and how old and outdated the rooms are. The bathtub was peeling, the hot water would go away in the sink, you had to constantly regulate it. They don't tell you ahead of time the cost of parking, which was almost $50.00 a day, otherwise I would have looked for an alternative, they just hit you with a bill dropped in front of your room door on the last day of your stay so you don't yell at them at checkout.

The staff was fantastic. The location is fabulous and close to everything you would want to do in Vancouver City Center. The hotel is a beautiful building. Vancouver is a beautiful city and the Fairmount made it even better. Very little noise for being in the heart of the city. Wi-Fi fees are a huge joke, but not exclusive to this hotel. This should not be seen as a bad comment for this hotel. It is just another way hotels are trying to make more money. If you can, try and book your stay with Wi-Fi included and ask for a discount if one is available.

The size of the hotel is large enough for basement auto parking and a full service restaurant ---but not overwheming. Rooms very clean and comfortable, free wi-fi, quiet. Very central location, a block awy from the Canada Line subwy to airport. Rates aren't bargain basement but reasonable. Nothing lacking for me.

The hotel itself was really nice. The bed was super comfy and it had little light switches on the side so you didn't have to get up to shut them off at night. The bathroom was huge, and the hotel had a sauna/pool open most hours of the day. Kayak booked us a room for three with one bedroom and a cott. The room name description was unclear and it really caught me off guard when I got there and the reception said "So, you'll be needing a cott?" without any prior knowledge from me. We just crammed all three people on the bed, which worked, but it was not at all what I thought was going to happen.
Overall just about excellent. Pool was being worked on. Had to use pool across at 4 seasons in 40 degree weather. Incredibly inconvenient
Two minute walk to Sky Train and connection to airport. Good bar/restaurant. All for less than half of the Four Seasons across the street. Slow check in/out because of having only one staff at desk.
They are not cat friendly. The room we stayed in allowed our cat to run up into a crawl space including the ceiling and potentially the walls and ceilings of nearby rooms. This was a living nightmare, as she disappeared for close to ten minutes while hotel staff had no idea what to do. I'm sure the hotel is lovely if you don't have a cat, but if you do, avoid this hotel at all costs.
I enjoyed the attentiveness of the staff and found the hotel luxurious. I also had harbour front view which I recommend to everyone. The room was large, bed extremely comfortable. I really appreciated a separate outdoor, covered area with benches for smokers. I found that respectful for those who smoke.

Were were given the option to upgrade our room...at a cost of 40$ a night. Rooms were comfortable and overall enjoyed our stay. When booking the hotel we booked a deluxe queen room....however when checking in we were told we could only have a room with 2 singles as there were no other comparable rooms. We were given the option to upgrade. So adding an extra cost and the parking is also approx. 40 $ a night!
The staff were very accomodating. Went out of their way to assure we were taken care of - without even being asked. Friendly concierge and bell staff. Would definately stay here again.
The staff were all friendly, courteous, and professional. The decor was elegant and comfortable without being ostentatious. Location was walking distance to many of our destinations during our visit. Street noise was virtually nil (fifth floor). Room service breakfast was delivered on-time, well presented, and tasty. Wifi should be included at no extra charge.

It's in a fairly convenient location, with a pretty lobby, clean rooms and a nice pool and hot tub area. There is 24 hour room service and the food is pretty good. They charge extra for wifi, they charge extra for using the business center (but you can ask the concierge to print and they will not charge you). I did not find the front desk to be friendly or accommodating. The double room is essentially two twin beds. The rooms are rather small.
The hotel is centrally located in downtown Vancouver and is close to everything. The staff at the hotel, particularly those that work as the concierge, are amazing! I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Vancouver. They charge extra for WiFi, but you can access it for free in the lobby.
Location is great for Robson st shopping and eating. Parking and the Internet is expensive.

We love the proximity to BC Place stadium. Yes, we had booked a room with 2 queen beds and a fold out sofa and were put in a room with only one bed and a fold out sofa. There were no other rooms so we could not change, nor was there a reduction in price. Bed was too hard for our comfort.
I have stayed in downtown Vancouver many times. I don't know how I hadn't heard of the Rosedale before looking to book this trip online. Check in was quick and easy and they let us check in 2 hours early. The hotel is clean, the service was excellent, our requests for extra towels and coffee in the room were fulfilled literally within minutes of the requests being made. The location is amazing. We had a fabulous meal at Rosies Restaurant downstairs. We will definitely book there again next time. Make sure you put your "Do Not Disturb" sign out when you go to bed. The maid knocked on our door at 8:15 a.m. We were up...but what if we hadn't been?

Place seemed very clean. Staff was flexible and friendly. The price seemed to be a good value for such a large room given how expensive Vancouver is. I paid a fair amount more for a space 1/4th the size in NYC. I liked that they had a pool, jacuzzi, and exercise machines. The views were great and the rooms were very spacious- both a bedroom and living room, so good for families or small groups of friends. Great location- close to sporting arenas and an easy walk to the skytrain stations. Housekeeping was very accommodating. The large suite style rooms work well if you need to spread out for a longer trip or make room for family members. Comfortable and unpretentious. WiFi? Forget it. Didn't work at all. The friend staying with me was an IT professional who told a staff member part of what the issue was, but the staff member didn't seem to have the technical knowledge to fix it. I just gave up on it after trying many times over several days. Don't come to this hotel if you need WiFi. I was glad they had newspapers to read instead. Cable channels seemed disorganized and lacking in selection- no in-room channel guide provided. No free breakfast either; I was paying a lot for the room and this should have been included. The $60 per night place I stayed the first night I was in town did offer this, and the price for this room was much more spendy. And yes, the place was spendy, but was not modern, upscale or trendy (in the best sense of the word).

It was easy to find the hotel location, parking, and the view was lovely. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and easy to reach. The bed was comfortable and the room had that sort of dated but welcoming feel. The room looked like it used to be an apartment or condo that was redeveloped into a hotel. There is a pool - in the basement. The fitness center is top-notch. There is an elevator - more than one. A spa and a great little café are on the first floor. The cleaning left something to be desired. The toilet had obviously not been wiped down and there was hair in the shower. The sheets had been changed and windows wiped down - so it was okay...but it could use some work. Parking - When I checked in they said they could add parking at $17/day to my bill. I was fine with that - but when I got the receipt with taxes and fees it was more like $22/day. I would have been fine with the $22/day - but be upfront about it. Either say it is $17/day and stick with that or say it is $17/day plus taxes and fees. It put a sour note on the check out experience.
I booked this hotel because I got a great deal, but was very pleasantly surprised when I got there and saw how nice it was! Definitely way better than what I had expected for the price I go on Kayak. The single room I booked was very spacious and clean, with a couch, dining table and a full kitchen, even including appliances (full size fridge, oven, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, etc') and dishes in the cabinets!! Staff was super nice and helpful and let me check in early even though I arrived way before the normal check in time. Even more value for your money, they gave me great coupons to use both at the restaurant and the spa. There is also a cool little cafe you can enter right from the lobby. since the weather did not cooperate with my plans to go for a day of hiking in the area while I was there, I decided to stay in and pamper myself with one of the spa packages for half a day. It's a bit on the pricy side, but they really did think of EVERY little detail to make sure you felt pampered and relaxed, so I feel was well worth the expense, and I had a great time. I did not know this, but the lady who took care of me at the spa also told me the hotel is pet friendly which is really nice. Though I did not see any pets over the weekend I spent there. The location is great, right in the middle of everything, walking distance to lots of great shopping, Granville Island, and the sky train. Overall it was a very pleasant stay, and I would totally come back if I'm in the area again. Would have loved to try the restaurant, but it didn't work out with my other plans this visit.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Westin Grand. The executive deluxe suite was smaller than we expected, but it was nice. Chad and Nicola and Jessie were extremely helpful and friendly in the restaurant at breakfast. (We had coupons for breakfast, which was wonderful.) We really enjoyed eating a fancy breakfast, followed by cheap and tasty eats later in the day. (For example, Mongolian barbecue and Egyptian and Asian fast food are all within an easy walk of the hotel.) Overall, the hotel was great, but a little expensive. Even though we had internet and free breakfast, the price of the executive deluxe suite was high, given its size (relatively small).
Comfort, cleanliness, fantastic night skyline views through floor-to-celing windows (we stayed on 27th floor), professional hotel staff, convenience of having a small kitchenette, excellent downtown location. Highly recommended!

We were first time visitors to Vancouver & Victoria, staying seven days. We wanted a hotel room suite, on Robson St., w/a kitchenette & a view. Westin Hotels are quality hotels, in the states, and at the time of our visit the Westin Grand Vancouver/Booking.com had a fantastic special rate, for a corner suite. We were very pleased w/the suite, the hotel, the staff & the services. Everything seemed just fine. One suggestion: Suites/rooms w/refrigerators: The refrigerators need to be a little bigger, to accomodate items guests might need to refrigerate, during their stay.

We booked a suite with a separate living area and bedroom. The living area included a wet bar with microwave and dishware which we were not expecting. It was a nice surprise, so we got takeout Chinese and brought it back to the room for dinner and could eat it on real plates and with real silverware after reheating it in the microwave. The bed was super comfy, the staff very nice. Would certainly return there if coming back to Vancouver Only two elevators, one was being repaired the morning of our departure so there was a long wait to get down.

We stay at Hotel Blu every time we go out to Vancouver! Our favourite hotel! The rooms are so nice. We definitely recommend the loft room. So nice and modern. Always a blast!

Location was good and staff was most helpful for our one night stay
The location was perfect with restaurants, shopping, and clubs just down the street. The rooms were huge and very clean. Only complaint is the noise from the construction happening behind the hotel but there are earplugs provided in every room, so this was minor.
I like how easy it was to register and stay. Paying for parking as an additional cost is always a little back handed. It might be nice if they included parking as an option when making a reservation.

Billing should be given during the night prior to departure. There is no need to spend time in the early morning waiting to be done. Staff are nice people.
It was convenient and met our requirements such as having a microwave. It was very noisy because of the proximity of nightclubs.

Very little...it was a dry roof over our heads for one evening is about all I can say. I did not like how noisy it was. We were kept up until way past 4am due to people yelling on the street below...please invest in soundproof windows!!! When I told the front staff how upset I was, they asked me what I expected?? Very poor customer service. We will never stay at this hotel ever again...
I liked having a space that had a separate bedroom, and a balcony. Housekeeping walked in without knocking, when my husband was on the toilet. We had the "do not disturb" sign out. Because of my health issues, I sleep in the day often. At 7am the next morning, they knocked and tried to get in. I flipped over the latch to stop them from entering. Next day, they tried to enter again before 8am.
I liked that the parking was underground in a secure environment. Guard and guard dog signs were posted at the entrance. I enjoyed my stay and the view of the city from my balcony was awesome. There was a lot of construction going on in front of the hotel and they started really early. Of course this is of no fault of the hotel.
Pleasant and friendly staff. Definitely good value for money. Some people may find Burrard St. somewhat noisy but then it's compensated by its excellent location and convenience. We are more than satisfied with the suite that we had. Although we did not do much cooking (apart from breakfast), the facilities in the kitchen were thoughfully provided, such as full set of crockeries and utensils, and daily change of kitchen towel and tea towel. It's always the little things that make one's stay in a hotel more pleasant. Food in the restaurant was also excellent and service attentive. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Le Grande Residence. The airconditioning unit was in a closet in the bedroom and could be a little noisy when the cooling set in. We were not particularly disturbed by the running noisy of the aircon unit, because the weather was still relatively cool. But the noisy could be a problem for some in the summer. Provision of towers - on some days we had two sets and on other days three sets of towels. In a comparable hotel, one would expect to have three sets of towers. Laundry - it would be good if less expensive laundry service could be provided for longer staying guests. Finally, we suggest that guests be provided with copies of bills or chits for expenses incurred in hotel's restaurant for convenience of checking on checkout.
The place is really great! That's all I can say. If you are a family traveling on vacation then the residences are perfect for you. I would definitely stay there again.
I did not like that our bill was over 150 dollars more than it was when I booked with booking.com
