Ulemper: Never ever stayed in a shipping container before. Enough said

Fordeler: Small but nice room with lovely terrace overlooking the ocean. Not far from cafes and restaurants, quite a few closed in December but it's close to the elevator that goes up to town (or it's not far to walk). Liked the fact there was kettle and fridge in the room. Worth spending a little extra to get the terrace and view. Really enjoyed our stay.

Ulemper: The 1st night I found the pillow way too hard...found a softer one in the cupboard though. They didn't replenish toiletries so had to use our own soap. Safe was broken.

Ulemper: Rommet vårt hadde vindu ut til en liten sjakt mellom bygningene, deres kunne vi ikke ha vinduet åpent. Føltes litt klaustrofobisk. Kopper og tallerkner ble ikke skiftet ut under oppholdet. Anbefaler å bestille med balkong

Fordeler: Very friendly staff, welcoming stay and excellent breakfast. Very good value for money if you want to stay next to the sea front.

Ulemper: Rooms are quite cosy, but you have the whole beach just across a road :)

Fordeler: A small, perfect retreat from the busy town of Torremolinos. It’s quiet, relaxing vibes made it ideal to chill. The room was spacious with a king size bed and a delightful little private courtyard . Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. I would definitely recommend this haven and would return without hesitation.

Fordeler: Very nice staff. Lovely and quiet environment. The bed was very comfortable. Free parking options in front of the hotel. Well equipped rooms.

Fordeler: The staffs were great , very friendly and super attentive to the needs of their guest . The breakfast was good and everything on it was fresh . During our stay there was an issue with the room next door . The night clerk was on it immediately to find us a solution , making calls, running to check other empty rooms and gave us an other room so quickly . He was great , fast and very efficient to resolve the issue and did it all with a smile. the area is close to the beach and beach promenade with lots of restaurants but still in a very quiet area.

Fordeler: Lovely small hotel presented with great care & thought. We loved the size of the bedroom and the cool marble floors as well as the comfortable bed and outside balcony. Everywhere was clean and cared for. There was an atmosphere of calm and peacefulness which added to our relaxing break. The breakfast was great - with a choice of dining either indoors, in the garden or by the splash pool. We felt “looked after” during our stay which was lovely. We hope to return!

Ulemper: The only thing that we were not so keen on was the hilly walk to and from the beach ! We reminded ourselves that if we were closer to the heart of the resort then the peacefulness of the hotel could be the price to pay and it’s only 10 minutes after all before we were on the gorgeous sandy beach!

Fordeler: Enkel, men utsøkt frokost. Stort rom og bad, dundyne, fredelig nabolag, ypperlig restaurant, ekstraordinær serviceinnstilling.

Ulemper: Må ha en ismaskin for gjester

Fordeler: Dette er et eldre sted i Torremolinos. Dårlig isolert. Bassenget er lite til så mange rom, men stranden er rett over gata. Det er billig. Ikke noe spesielt sted, men legg merke til de flotte bildene i resepsjonsområdet.

Ulemper: Eldre bygg i tradisjonell stil. NB bilde av bassengområdet bedrar, det er lite!

Fordeler: Very nice hotel but unfortunately rooms at the front got too much noise from street all through the night. Mostly traffic noise when we were there.

Ulemper: I would not have a front bedroom again as it was too noisy.

Fordeler: Roof terrace was excellent., The friendly less and helpfulness of the staff could not be faulted. The location of the property in order to enjoy the local restaurants was ideal, without it being too noisy at night. Also liked the adults only.

Ulemper: The roof terrace is great as it gets sun all day. There are 2 showers up there but no toilet. The pool is in the shade for a large part of the day and the terrace that does get the sun the most is a seating area. Our room was comfortable but had little storage for a 2 week stay, only 4 coat hangers between us, we ended up buying some. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms, something which would have been preferable to the VR headset!

Fordeler: The location of the hotel was perfect, near enough to the front, close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants but far enough away from any noise. Taxi's and local bus services located near by. Rooms nicely decorated, clean and tidy with the bonus of British TV channels. Good choice of sunbathing area's with comfortable sun lounges. Pool very clean with toilets and changing facilities at the pool side. Clean and tidy restaurant providing a good choice of food and drink options at breakfast. The hotel bar had a good atmosphere and served tasty snacks along with a wide range of cocktails, spirits. soft drinks, tea's and coffee's. Everything you could wish for. The staff were amazing very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and their communication skills were first class in particular the Reception staff and management. I will definitely be returning to The EL Tiburon and recommending it to my friends and family.

Ulemper: I understood there to be tea and coffee making facilities provided in the rooms however, this was not the case. I love to be able to make my own cup of tea. I did check in the room facilities online before I came so didn't bring my own travel kettle.

Fordeler: Everything was so relaxing just the way a holiday should be, I would gladly stay there again. Many thanks

Fordeler: Staff was very helpful. Javier and also his colleague, the woman with dark hair and horn-rim glasses (sorry I forgot her name!), were especially helpful. Location could not be better, less than 5 minutes from a great part of the beach.

Ulemper: Infrastructure could use some care. The lock on our room was very sticky (and had apparently been reported before), the hanging rack in our room was broken, etc. Apparently the hotel offers partnerships for tours, but the book was missing from our room, and the only available copy that the staff could find was online and in Spanish - not a deal-breaker, just, again, illustrating that some details were missing. Breakfast was weaker than I've been used to in Spain. Examples: the eggs were typically only fried and looked like they'd been prepared far in advance (rubbery/congealed fat), and the fresh fruits and vegetables were not ripe and/or appeared long exposed to air. But a reservation without breakfast would make perfect sense - there are a dozen cafes open for breakfast within less than 5 minutes walk. The room felt small for the price point, but in my opinion this was more than compensated for by the location. Would have been nice if some space was available to do work in the room and/or reception/public space, wasn't really room anywhere to set up a laptop comfortably, but hopefully I am in the minority as someone still obliged to do some work on holiday...

Ulemper: Kunne vasket bedre i kroker på bad. Litt små rom.

Fordeler: Fint hotell og fantastisk personale. Synes comford rommene som vi betalte litt ekstra for kunne ha vendt ut mot bassenget og ha en fin balkong. Bestill heller et vanlig rom til rimeligere pris og få et like fint rom med balkong

Fordeler: Frokosten var veldig god, godt utvalg for alle og enhver.

Ulemper: Måtte betale 8 Euro for å låne vin opptrekker i baren, personalet ville at man skulle kjøpe vin i baren.

Ulemper: God frokost, men savnet en kanne god amerikansk kaffe. Eller kokt vann og Nescafé. Var kun kaffe fra kaffemaskin i frokostsalen.

Fordeler: The rooms were comfortable and we did have BBC 1&2 TV. The hotel is very well presented and very clean throughout

Ulemper: Our visit was in November therefore a little chilly and several shops and bars were closed. We wanted a hotel close to Malaga as a base however we found the hotel was not on the main bus route to Malaga. It was necessary to take a taxi to the local train station costing 8 /9 euros

Ulemper: The place is tired,bit pricey. Tv far 2 small lack of english channels.

Fordeler: Beautiful small hotel, the marbel floors throughout the hotel were very special and a beautiful colour. Good facilities and everything immaculately clean.

Ulemper: Our stay was in November therefore the weather was a little chilly and many shops and bars were closed for the season. We intended to use the hotel as a base and travel however there wasn't any public transport available to travel to Malaga.We found the taxis expensive travelling to the local train station.

Fordeler: Frokosten hadde passe utvalg av matvarer. Ikke overdådig, men den hadde de nødvendige ingrediensene. Hotellets beliggenhet var nær perfekt. All honnør til rengjøringspersonalet. Det var rent og pent overalt.

Ulemper: Uteområdet var i minste laget. Det ble trangt om plassen og enkelte dager en kamp om å sikre seg solsenger. Det begrensede uteområdet medførte følgelig begrensninger for bassengets størrelse.

Ulemper: Det eneste som er litt dårlig er at de skal ha ekstra betalt for å låne bort og låse opp kjøleskapet på rommet. På et såpass bra hotell bør det være inkludert.

Fordeler: Jeg likte utsikten fra rommet vårt. Rommet var rent og hadde hva du kan forvente av ett europeisk hotellrom.

Ulemper: Jeg er ikke en frokostperson, men nyter en kopp eller to av kaffe om morgenen, var skuffet over at det ikke var noen kaffemaskinen på rommet vårt. Da jeg gikk til snackbaren, fikk jeg ikke kaffe til å ta med, måtte sitte der og drikke den

Ulemper: Rengjøringen kom ofte sent på ettermiddagen når vi ville hvile oss

Fordeler: We have been now 5 times and the facilities such as the gym and roof terrace are excellent. There is plenty of choice with the breakfast and evening meal buffets to suit every taste. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Ulemper: soya yoghurts not in the buffets this year!!

Fordeler: When we checked out, we left a bag in the garage. There’s some very important items inside. When we stopped at Nerja, we found the bag missing and called the reception. We are fortune they found the bag and stored it at reception. I drove back and got it. Thank you so much for all your kind assistances！

Fordeler: Everything else was wonderful-from our welcome by Miguel who made us feel like VIPs, to the best hotel breakfast we have experienced, very comfortable beds, brilliant power shower and everywhere spotlessly clean. We were celebrating a joint birthday and we had a bottle of complementary fizz delivered to the room. Should be 5*!!

Ulemper: I thought when booking that the hot tub and indoor pool would be free for our wintertime visit but it was an extra €20 each and extra for swim hats. Our balcony didn't get the sun at all so if/when we return I would ask for the other side.

Fordeler: We went to Los Mellizos restaurant located in La Carihuela which is approx10min walk from the hotel. The food was amazing, the waiters were very attentive and friendly & the place was very clean considering it was very busy!

Ulemper: Treg innsjekking, mye registrering på data før utlevering av nøkler. Kan mer gjøres på forhånd?

Ulemper: The only thing we can say is that we would have liked the room cleaned earlier. It was not possible to have a siesta in the afternoon because we would have been disturbed by the cleaner.

Ulemper: Det kunne ha vært litt større plass ved frokostbuffeen, møtte ofte opp til full spisesal.

Fordeler: Convenient location for many day trips, out of season plenty of parking on the street. Hotel is clean, breakfast is plentiful, staff polite and helpful.

Ulemper: Out of season the pool is not heated, but it was not an issue for us.

Ulemper: Disappointed.. no lock on loo door .. Also kettle / coffee pot in room. But no tea / coffee milk supplied ...

Fordeler: You have everything you need for a relaxing stay. The sea is a 4 minutes walk from the hotel. The staff of the restaurant and the bar were really nice and the girl in the spa as well. The only negative part was that there were a lot of children and noice in the pool of the spa. Highly recommend this place!

Fordeler: The hotel is great situated on a peaceful street but near the beach. The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is abundant with choices, and so was the dinner buffet also. Taxi stand is in front of the hotel, so it very easy to hop in for example for the airport.

Ulemper: The room was a little bit gloomy but it was ok because we only spent two nights in there. We were here once before and then we had a great room with balcony and space, so it depends on the type of the room you choose. The smell from drain was a little bit disturbing but it was fixed by running some water.

Fordeler: Beautiful hotel, big and comfy room. Well located (easy connection from airport with public transport). Helpful staff. Nice spa service. Good breakfast buffet. Perfect place for a relaxing beach holiday. Would happily stay here again.

Ulemper: For those using public transport, it’s a bit of a walk downhill to the beach side from the train station (about 10-15 min). Look for the elevator that, for EU$0.5, can spare you from carrying the luggage up and down the streets and stairs.

Fordeler: It was nice but for that money, I would have expected a mordern Hotel

Fordeler: Good hotel very clean right on seafront with very nice restaurants, bars and shops if you want them. Lots of seating and beds around pools. Easy to get to from airport and cheap if you share a taxi, very nice breakfast big complex so quite busy still at end of season.

Fordeler: Bassengområdet hadde sol hele dagen. Passe avstand til stranden.

Ulemper: Bodde på rom 103. Det var VELDIG mye bråk på kvelden og natten. Det var glippe mellom gulvet og døren ut til gangen, så det var bråk fra baren om natten. Det var også veldig mye bråk når naborommene brukte toalettet. Første nettene våknet jeg flere ganger av at naboene sylte ned i toalettet.

Fordeler: Clean, location and very friendly staff.

Ulemper: Vi fikk et lite rom (#215) med dårlig lydisolering, støyende aircondition som virket av-og-til, lite bad og liten balkong mot eiendommen på siden. 900kr døgnet er - slik vi ser det - langt overpriset for dette.
