clean, modern hotel. The place was busy but very well organised and dealt with us very efficiently and with good humour. English speaking reception.
Good location for a stop over Slightly pretentious - serving caviar on the room service menu. Expensive breakfast. Room very basic, but clean. Double bed was two put you up beds pushed together.
Location to nearby Parc d'Exposition Noisy people coming late and waking me up. I also found breakfast overprized
the stay was too short to comment prefer to have tea & coffee making in the bedroom
la receptioniste etait tres agreable! She was so kind and friendly and good service. The room was so durty!!!! there were a lots of tache on the carpet and i have a allagy of house dust, so my symptom had got worth in the room! and there wasn't refrige in the room ! this hotel in the region champagne, so it's big problem there isn't refuge in the hotel room??
The hotel location was ideal for venturing into Reims for Champagne tasting with many pommeries close by (5 minutes in a car). The pool was small but that was fine as there were only a few people using it. Room and bed were comfortable, good value for money.
great staff and a comfrtable stay - that's precisely what we wanted breakfast was ridiculously overpriced and the bar was also too expensive. Had it been more reasonable i'm sure more people would be encouraged to use it.
The size of the room and the bathroom
easy to find, clean rooms and a big bed very nice staff all the ones we encountered spoke very good english the rooms had a very dated look and needed modernising. we also had a non smoking room yet it smelt of stale smoke. restaurant menu was not translated into english and very expensive. we went to mcdonalds.
Very helpful staff Bar prices!!
Good staff & breakfast Rooms were tatty and generally run down. Not 3*
Overpriced food & drinks.
Room good size, free parking out back, BBC/CNN on tv Not terrific for non French speakers, but they try. Breakfast was good, but seemed a little expensive.
What you see is what you get. Don't expect more and you're ok. Smelly corridors, not a very cosy hotel
good rooms difficult to negotiate one way system around hotel
Clean, reasonable prices, near the conference center The breakfast is same everyday.
Location was good. Breakfast was good. My non smoking room smelt of cigarettes
Friendly and helpful staff Slow service in the bar
Helpful staff WiFi was unstable in our room.
Location was excellent and good breakfast in the room
Large comfortable bed Height restriction on car park. 1.80m
comfortable double bed and pillows;warm please check bed springs in single beds- less than comfortable
The fact we survived! We arrived at 4.30pm and the the family room was still not cleaned, we waiting for half an hour to move into the family room which was up the steepest stairs in France. The wifi did not work in this hotel, and the water in the room took an hour to warm up to get a wash. The hotel sits on a construction round-about and has the apperiance of a brothel. There is no parking close to the hotel so you can carry your bags over a dual- carriage way to move in. Nothing like the website shows! Do not stay at this hotel. booking.com needs to remove this from their website!!
Pleasant helpful staff I found the shower a bit difficult to control
Well located with access to free wi-fi. Even thoug we stayed only 1 night we were able to use our room right up to the time of are train booking which was in the early afternoon
Very quiet room. Good temperature. Clean and Comfortable Beds.Good bar and lounge room.
Friendly staff, nice room and big breakfast
central location no parking
Small but perfectly formed! Clean, great location and very good service. Would stay again.
the staff. helpful and knowledgable it seemed tired and in a gritty, industrial-type area which didn't seem to fit its description.
Hotel is clean and cosy. The staff is friendly. I did not like that at the breakfast the juice was served by the staff (not from the vessel), so I had to ask for it each time (I usually drink more juice at the breakfast). The ac was not efficiently heating the room. I had to set the higher temperature (24-26 c) in order to get enough warm. Not all staff could understand English.
God valuta for pengene. Ikke problematisk å finne offentlig parkering.
Hotel receptionist recommended a local restaurant which was superb and at which we were given a free glass of champagne. Hotel staff were very friendly.
Hotel location was excellent for visiting Reims, with plenty of restaurants in close vicinity Room was poorly furnished, very small, very hot, very uncomfortable. The shower/toilet were the size of a cupboard. Stairs were steep (no lift) and poorly lit at night. Breakfast would not suit anybody with an appetite! Parking was secure, but several minutes walk from the hotel.
Dislike: 1) there is no lift, but ok - you are warned in advance. But the staircase is very steep and stairs are very narrow (about 10 cm wide) - so lifting my heavy suitcase onto the second floor after rolling it along digged streets around Reims train station (seems there was a sudden announcement that there was a treasure buried somewhere nearby) and afterwards along a block road almost without a sidewalk was a real nightmare; 2) my card was charged (not preauthorized without me knowing it) - the owner told it to me when I wanted to pay in the morning 2) in my very small room there was no real door between the room and absurdly small bathroom - only a wooden vent with wooden bars inserted in it at an angle - so vapour from the shower and smell in the room from the toilet. And there is an announcement in the bathroom asking not to use water flush in the toilet during the night! 3) very serious: when I asked to use their luggage room next morning, I was told that the hotel is closed on sunday, so it was impossible! The owner said it was advertized at booking.com (false). But she found a solution - I had to go to their garage (5 minutes walk), open a big garage door, leave a luggage, close the door, in the evening to do the same thing, then return to the hotel and leave a key in th post
The staff were extreemly helpful, excellent breakfast
the employees were very friendly. the rooms were very nice for a city hotel.
Very friendly staff, good breakfast, convenient stop over. Pretty small rooms, quite a walk from the centre of Reims
Very nice small hotel with excellent location to city centre. Helpful & smily staff.
modern hotel and nice heater the package is bundled with breakfast. it's not for travelers like me who leave the hotel at 5am in the morning
Bright cheerful & very clean room/ modern clean bathroom situated in a quiet side street.
Stille og fredelig ! Spassertur til bysentrum. Rent og ryddig. God frokost.Greitt å parkere. Nei
The staff were friendly and spoke english with a smile (!) A little dip in the pool after a long day on the road was very refreshing. The italian restaurant a round the (two)corners served great food. The area looks suburban and ghostly(but this is no real minus, as it`s actually quiet and nice) 30 minute walk to city centre though.
Frokosten var hyggelig og veldig bra!
One of the two double beds was comfy The other bed was sunk in and loud
Old but the coolest place ever!
Location - the hotel hosts - breakfast Somewhat outdatesd and wornout - in desperate need of renovation
Very good location, you can see cathedral over the window. Noise of the street in the morning, smell in the room was not so good due to chemicals used for cleaning.
The hotel is very cosy, little but tidy and pretty. It is in a very nice position in the centre of the city with a very close parking. The couple that runs the hotel is very very kind and welcoming. I had my big german shepherd with me but we had no problems, we could stay in a very nice room together and no one complained of us. The breakfast was good, in a nice little restaurant room. I only spent one night whilst travelling by car from the uk to Italy and I had a lovely time. I would have spent there another night on my way back if there was a room available, but it was full on my return date. Overall, it was great.
Great location to see the Cathedrale, convenient parking garage right behind the hotel. The best thing about this hotel may be it's convenient location to a small restaurant right down the street, Le Colibri, that we happened upon by chance. This was one of the best meals we had in France. Great service, fantastic food, nice atmosphere. No elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up a narrow circular staircase, so pack light.
Very pleasant staff. Two minutes from the Cathedral, very central location
Very friendly staff, hotel is convienently located extremely small room on first night, many smaller defects in room (things like lightbulps did not work)
Friendly staff, good breakfast, We were on the 4th floor, no lifts and 80 stairs. Wardrobe had no doors, small space and bathroom was very small. Heating was not very efficient, my wife found the room cold. Room was described as "superior double"
The bed was comfortable. A basic but comfortable room spoilt by the fact that some of the contents needed attention. I understand that the Hotel has been refurbished but the carpet had large black stains on it and the shelf in the shower room, along with the table in the bedroom, needed a good coat of paint.
normal for 2star, good personal, good breakfast. small noise from street
The woman at the reception desk was very helpful about places to visit and restaurants.
The person in charge of everything was charming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the cafeteria and bar were open in the evening. The location, in the midst of historic Reims, is perfect for sight-seeing or those with a serious interest in medieval monuments. My room was quiet and looked onto a garden. wi fi is free.
Owners/staff were friendly and helpful. Not bad value for money if you just want a basic no frills hotel. Lack of storage space, poor bed, noisy plumbing, small toilet cubicle (with a rickety concertina door) which was located too close to the bed. There was no plug in the wash basin, though staff did quickly remedy this.
Cheap and near cathedral
simple, but good breakfast - rooms clean and simple. Very good for a short stay.
The restaurant was excellent and the rooms were clean, if small. The staff were helpful and efficient and the receptionstaff had an acceptable knowledge of English which helped out our limited French Rooms are apread across several buildings along the street and there is no lift to access 1st floor rooms. It is in a busy noisy area - surrounding streets were rsidential with at least one burned-out car visible. The hotel parking is not secure.
The hotel was clean and functional and was fit for purpose for a one night stop during a long journey. The hotel is old and tired and very utilitarian.
Very functional, food very good.
Small , compact room, very clean and adequate for a night stopover. Breakfast buffet, small selection, Not included in price and not value for money. Location is a little 'semi-industrial'.
The hotel had tea and coffee facilities and air conditioning
Good restaurant on site. Easy acces to Autoroute. Rooms are pretty basic, small especially for two people - ok for one night
The staff were excellent and the food was first class. The room was clean although a little tight for space. The hotel was easy to locate.
Use of restaurant
The bed was very comfortable and there was a good selection of food. Too noisy and very difficult to locate. Campanile hotels appear to be located near to industrial estates, close to motorways, so not our choice.
Same as any other Campanile, ie fine.
comfortable rooms and friendly staff the room i stayed in was hard to get to with large and heavy bags
We stayed in a superior room and thought it was an excellent modern and spacious room apart from a rather hard bed. Staff were excellent and very helpful. We stayed 3 nights but didn't have breakfast because at 13 euros per person it seemed very expensive.
location could use bit of a "refresh"
In spite of being right on the main pedestrian area, it was pretty quiet at night. Beautifully decorated room with a nice, large bathroom
Very helpfull staff
Position - very close to main shopping areas Probably a bit expensive
Right at the very heart of the town centre on the main street, but not noisy. Also there was discounted underground car parking within 20 metres of the hotel
the location of the place The price/quality ratio fo this hotel is not good. The room is very small. The beds are absolutely dreadful. Very small, 1m40, this is not exceptional for France but very uncomfortable. They also but some kind of cover on top of the mattress but under the actual covers. Result: impossible to sleep.
In a great position in the middle of the town and practically on top of the car park. The breakfast was quite expensive yet you could walk out of the hotel door and within 10 meters there were 5 places that provided a breakfast at half the price.
The restaurant was excellent.
Spacious room, helpful staff that spoke English
Rooms were very clean, staff were very helpful. Shower was poor - sprayed everywhere - and bath had been there for years - clean each day but was marked. The hotel itself is in the middle of a suburb, just off a main road - we'd expected it to be more secluded.
Friendly staff Not a very good breakfast
The restaurant is excellent
Clean, good bed. Curtains aren't thick enough to block streetlights.
Please write at least 15 words There was no parking at the hotel and the staff were not able to direct us to suitable parking. There was no lock on the bathroom door. I had to hold the shower head in my hand to use it.
The price is fair for what you get. The location is very close to the center. No elevator, a lot of stairs to do, not for disabled persons. The sheets were not perfectly clean.
Family run hotel - nice and cosy Hotel was quite far from the train station, appreciate if the hotel website can provide a useful map to indicate direction to the hotel
The room was clean, well-decorated and though simple, had all I required. The breakfast was very pleasant. The hotel is close to the centre of town and very easily accesible from the motorway. It does not have parking so you have to use parking meters
Room small - no aircon but reception did provide a fan
We liked the ease of access to and from the motorway as this was an en route stop. Breakfast was good. Disappointed to find that the hotel restaurant was not open on the evening we were there.
It was very spacious and clean for a family of 5, just the hotel for a stop over. The restaurant wasn't open, which was a shame, we went to one close by but was not suitable for children.
Relaxed quiet atmosphere. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Excellent restaurant. Staff very friendly.
Great stopover hotel with good dining. Room was newly decorated, very clean and comfortable.
easy access from motorway yet very calm and quiet in green environment
We enjoyed the restaurant; the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room smelled of smoke due to people standing smoking nearby.
The rooms were very cramped, the beds were very narrow. We chose this hotel in particular because it had a restaurant, but it was closed at the weekend. This was not stated on any of the information looked at on the booking website.
quiet location, bedrooms were clean if compact and the bed was comfortable; staff were friendly.
Friendly Relaxed Hotel Location in not in the centre
Central location Very small room, thin walls, noisy, and no staff available for assistance
Great location, right in the middle of town and good price. (only paid 56 euro for a double room). Free wireless Very loud. . . right above a restaturant so pretty loud all night and people were continually coming in and out of the hotel.
The room was very nice and clean. The location is perfect and close to the rail station.
The Latino cafes only real great strength is its location, which could not be better. It is close to everything. Also the bath was fine, the colors was funny, and the room in itself was... ok! The hotel in it self is ok. It is a narrow staircase, with a narrow reception, and a...narrow room. They must have used a wide angle on all the pictures taken. Also it was kinda dark.
++Friendly staff, clean, very good bar-restaurant in the same house, excellent location -- room was a bit too small, problems with Wi-Fi
the hotel is situated in the centre of the city, parking is available in a near parking garage the room looked into a really dirty inner yard - not really inviting
