Fordeler: The hotel, the staffing, the breakfast and the location of it was according to the expectations. The dimmensions of the room and be near the beach was amazing. Close to the hotel are enough parking space. I have been there two times and I am sure that in my next visit I will be there.

Ulemper: No bad comments.

Fordeler: The hotel Aesthetically looks lovely…however on this site and the other site that advises about trips, this hotel should be AMAZING – and from our point of view – it was just – ok. I don’t believe I paid the best price – and that may well have effected my perceptions as well. I understand that hotels work on dynamic rate – ie – the less space they have – the more the room price increases….. In this case – I paid approx. £250 a night. For a 10 night stay – that is quite a lot of money for room only. If the room was priced at £150 a night – I would have felt much more comfortable about it.

Ulemper: The cleaners here get great reviews – however – I would personally say our room cleaning was a 7 out of 10. There were areas missed – and glasses not always washed. My “sea view room” – don’t forget - £250 a night – was behind a rather large palm tree. Which – obscured the view somewhat. It wasn’t what I imagined it would be to be honest.

Fordeler: Hotellet levde absolutt opp til forventningene basert på beskrivelsen på booking.com. Fine fasiliteter, hyggelig personale og meget god frokost. Dessuten kort vei til ulike tilbud og bussholdeplass så man enkelt kommer seg rundt, og ikke minst raskt og billig til flyplassen.

Ulemper: Beliggenheten rett ved Maspalomas (og meget kort vei til stranden) er fantastisk, men nabolaget ellers er ikke av det beste slaget. Cita-senteret rett oppi veien, hvor man finner nærmeste dagligvarebutikk, har sett sine bedre dager.

Fordeler: We had absolutely no complaints. The location was wonderful, the staff was incredibly friendly, the food was amazing. We only wish we had stayed longer!

Fordeler: Fabulous hotel, the setting is amazing, a true oasis in the dunes, absolutely perfect for a relaxing break. Big pool, plenty of loungers, lovely luxurious rooms with excellent sea views over the dunes - love the sofas. Breakfast is fantastic, huge variety, lovely juices and cava :) The nearby shops (go out the beach gate and turn left) are standard cheapish beach resort fare but make a good change from the very stylish hotel and if you like to surf or kite surf the schools are a short walk along the beach. If you want a little more class a £5 taxi will get you to the sunset cafe, hotels and restaurants at Meloneras. Highly recommended.

Ulemper: Would prefer bigger towels changed less frequently. Robes also very small, I would post a picture but it would be indecent :p Tea making facilities in room would be good. Poolside food could be improved, it's okay in a pinch but not the same standard as breakfast.

Fordeler: Great garden with bar and pool area. nice spacious room. Location is good- next to promenade. Great place to watch sunrise. Staff is really polite. I’ve never before been guided to my room after check-in. Food was great (stayed for two nights).

Ulemper: No parking available, canalization smell in room when doors and windows were closed, extremely soft mattress for sleeping and maybe a bit noisy, you may be disturbed by passing traffic or people who cross corrior or walk upstairs. Restaurant area felt bit like conveyor though service was great! Evening shows are suitable for older people...

Fordeler: Very nice stuff, lovely and very tasty breakfast with many many options. Easy parking either for free (nearby streets) or for 3EUR/day which is bargain. Private entrance to access sea promenade and near beaches. Adequate price.

Fordeler: Staff and botanical garden is where this hotel excels. Staff(that includes restaurant, cleaning ladies, pool bar, reception) would go above and beyond to meet your needs, and always with a smile. Garden and pool are beautiful and something hotels in Maspalomas generally lack. Would definitely visit again.

Ulemper: Can't think of anything apart from the lack of ramp to the pool, I had to carry my son's pram down the stairs every time we go to the pool/pool bar.

Fordeler: Quiet room, lots of greenery, polite and friendly staff, location, food. The Maspalomas dunes were beautiful

Ulemper: The shower made the bathroom floor very wet, which seemed quite dangerous. The curtain did not stop the water going outside the shower onto the bathroom floor, no matter how the showerhead was angled.

Fordeler: The animation team was excellent particularly the blonde girl (forgot her name) who was extremely good at engaging an audience, was always very nice and friendly to my 81 year old mother, myself and people of all ages. She also played very good table tennis :) Otherwise the meals were very nice and the staff generally very friendly, welcoming and pleasant. My mother loved the garden.

Ulemper: I can't fault the hotel. The only problem was the attitude of some of the elderly German travellers about their sunbeds. One even got angry just because someone wanted to lie on the free sunbed next to her. It must be difficult for the hotel to deal with such awkward guests.

Fordeler: Beautiful established gardens. Pool area was spacious with sufficient loungers and umbrellas. Breakfast buffet was delicious.

Ulemper: A bit of mold in the bathroom.

Fordeler: A real Oasis in an otherwise unremarkable built up area of town. Wonderfully clean, incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast each day. We couldn’t fault our stay and having a super clean bathroom and bedroom was much appreciated. In fact the staff go a long way to make sure every part of the hotel complex is super clean. The large pool was very popular with our 12 year old. The tropical gardens were also gorgeous making such a difference to the overall ambience.

Ulemper: Nothing really. We had a fifth floor room overlooking the pool. If I was bring super critical I would have preferred the in-room A/C to be controllable and the room safe should be free to use. You need to be out quite early to get decent poolside loungers.

Fordeler: The beautiful garden, very good food.

Ulemper: Dogs allowed. Sometimes barking at the pool

Fordeler: Staff are amazing, they cater to your every need. Beautiful gardens.

Ulemper: Bed could be comfier, however we had 2 single beds pushed together so a double may be better.

Ulemper: Fallet i dusjen var feil vei, slik at alt vannet rant utover hele badet. Det hadde fortsatt ut i leiligheten, dersom vi ikke hadde lagt håndklær utover gulvet. Noen småmaur inne.

Fordeler: Brilliant place to stay, clean, well designed and quiet, it was perfect for us! Near to shops, restaurants and the beach, couldn’t ask for more.

Fordeler: This acommodation is absolutley fanatastic , truly 5***** + location, 2mins to the Kasbah,10 mins walk to the Yumbo center,near the beach and the famous boardwalk. We hope to be back next year.... Thanks to Tracy who welcomed us and gave us all the info we needed and the maid was meticulous in her cleaning duties every day..

Ulemper: leaving

Fordeler: The accomodation has everything you need. It is spot on clean and we immediately felt at home. The living room is spacious enough and the couches are very comfortable. The kitchen has a dish washer, combi-oven, fridge, freezer, kettle, coffee machine and so on. The garden has a beautiful olive tree and 2 comfortable sun beds table and 4 chairs. Every morning, we had breakfast in the garden. The house is surrounded by fake grass which gives it a nice touch. The bathroom is very spacious and has a rainshower too with strong pressure. We loved the daily warm showers. The beds are very comfortable as well and we brought many clothing and we could stock everything in the closet and our valuable belongings in the safe. We even had a second lounge area for ourselves. The location is also very convenient, close to the supermarket and restaurants.

Ulemper: We were not informed about the check-out procedure. It would have been nice to know in advance that we could store our luggage. In the end, the cleaning lady informed us (which was a challenge because she does not speak English). You can also use the toilet after check-out, this was not told to us either. Later on, we discovered that there are Spa treatments but there is no mention of it at all in the Villa. There is no reception, only via Whatsapp.

Fordeler: Location, cleanliness, welcome gift, general hospitality - all perfectly pitched and made for a wonderful stay.

Ulemper: Property was perfect - could not find a fault.

Fordeler: Everything... Probably one of the best places I have stayed at. Its the wow factor when you arrive and it stays like that. It really is that nice.

Ulemper: Nothing

Fordeler: So close to the beach shops restaurants. The accomodation is really really good. 5 star all the way. And really exceeded my expectations!

Fordeler: Komplett utstyrt kjøkken. Vaskemaskin & Oppvaskmaskin. Nydelig design. Flott basseng. Flott sofa og stoler etc.

Ulemper: Senga kunne vært en bred seng istedenfor 2 enkle sammensatt. Madrassen kunne vært mykere.

Fordeler: Romet utrolig fint. Og bassenget helt fentastisk.

Ulemper: Lite bad.

Fordeler: Rikelig utvalg til frokost og middag. Topp utvalg av all inclusive drikke! Takterassen kan anbefales! Blide og positive ansatte på alle nivåer. Kort veg til strand og byliv. Ingen reservasjon av bassengstoler før 08.45! Stort sett bare par blant gjestene.

Ulemper: Baren og servering stengte for tidlig. Nøkkelkortene måtte relades ofte. Ingen dobbelsenger tilgjengelig. Noe ensidig underholdning. Noe kloakklukt på badet. Litt ensidig menyvalg til middag.

Fordeler: Great accommodation, very comfortable and clean. Lovely pool and always space to chill in the sun!

Fordeler: Paper straw :), friendly staff, sport options, pool, view.

Ulemper: Water bottle distribution was somewhat overcomplicated.

Fordeler: It is a very nice hotel in a good position, excellent helpful staff and a very good standard of food. Entertainment is provided in the evenings which mainly appeals to the German guests. There are two gyms and a Spa area containing a steam room and Spa. Naturist areas are provided on the upper terraces. The property is well maintained with a swimming pool and terraces where towels cannot be placed on chairs before 9am. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Ulemper: We arrived about 9pm to be told by the manager that they were overbooked and we would be transferred to their sister hotel. This was unacceptable to us as they had done this to us on our last visit the previous year. He became rude and aggressive but eventually a room was eventually found for us on the third floor for that night and the next day we transferred to another room on the 6th floor. We complained the next day and did not receive a satisfactory response. They obviously overbook and then pass guests on with little consideration. When it happened to us last time we effectively lost a day of our holiday and were living out of a suitcase unable to unpack before we were moved back to our correct hotel. It is a lovely hotel, but, the dining area is chaotic - the layout is appalling, as it is a buffet service you have to bypass queues of people waiting to be seated with your food with very little space. Tables are too close together.

Ulemper: Room key is programmed to stop working well before 12:00 check out time, leading to unpleasant experiences trying to get back into hotel from the beach, than into one's room to collect belongings

Fordeler: Situated near the beach, good restaurant, helpful staff

Ulemper: The pick up for the excursions are away from the hotel- the hotel could have negotiated the pick ups from the hotel with the travel companies as there are spaces for the buses to park and turn around

Fordeler: Personnel, gastronomy and great facilities.

Fordeler: Flott velkomst med ett glass Cava ved innsjekk. Veldig bra frokostbuffet. Utrolig godt utvalg av både mat og drikke kombinert med hyggelig og effektivt personale. Flott tilbud for barn.

Ulemper: Kunne vært badekar på soverom.

Fordeler: Selection and quality of food was excellent (although some dishes were very salty). Children playground was in the shade, and kids club facilities were good. Some staff members are very nice (in the restaurant and Patrik in kid's club). Reception staff was nice enough to change our room, when we complained of a smoke/food smell 24/7 in the first room - the second room was better (although other customers smoke heavily in this hotel). Transfer was well arranged. I think it is the best hotel in the area for kids playground (as Playa des Ingles does not have any children playgrounds at all), food quality and variety and for the location.

Ulemper: All customers (mainly Germain pensioners) of the hotel smoke - in the restaurant, bar and on their balconies - and the smoke comes to your room and to a dinner/breakfast table.... Hotel customers and some waiters (not all) were very intolerant to young children - we did not feel welcome in the restaurant at all. Our little one had an accident fall in the room, which resulted in the emergency hospital treatment - but hotel staff did not bother to ask how we are/if everything was ok. I had a Birthday and the restaurant promised to deliver a Birthday cake (they offered, without us asking for it) - but they never delivered it:(, it was very disappointing. Kids club did not work (although it was open and we could select activities ourselves), but as it's not school holidays time - there was no entertainment (no disco/etc) for kids. Packed lunch consisted of a banana, an apple, a clementine and a bottle of water - for "all inclusive" guests. Clean towels in the room were not that clean - black marks/colours/lipstick (but it is probably the quality of the washing machine/detergent?) . To get to the beach (at the other exit from the hotel) - you have to use 4 lifts on different floors/parts of the hotel, and hotel staff sends you in different (often incorrect) directions...

Ulemper: Bestilte rom med bad og utsikt. Fikk rom uten badekar. Utsikten var 2 palmestammer Det var ikke forventet som årlig fast gjest å bli plassert i underetasjen i romavdeling 1 etg

Fordeler: Hotellet er moderne og holder en svært bra standard, har meget bra beliggenhet i forhold til strendene i Laspalomas/Playa Del Ingles

Ulemper: Jacuzzi i spa-avdeling stengt uten nærmere forklaring. Vi ankom litt tidlig, måtte vente 3 timer på rom, vi mener vårt rom kunne vært prioritert rengjort. Frokosten er ok, men personalet springer med kaffe, egg, alt dette må bestilles, det ville vært enklere for hotellet å la dette stå fremme så gjestene kan forsyne seg selv - slik det er nå skaper det irritasjon, selv om personalet gjør sitt beste.

Fordeler: The breakfast was great, the room was excellent with it being cleaned twice a day, the chauffeur service from the airport was very relaxing, arrival drinks, a tablet with the room giving information and room service. The spa was lovely too, sauna, saunarium, steam room and relaxation area.

Fordeler: Beautiful view at the restaurant, very friendly staff, very clean rooms, good coffee with kettle at my room, swimming pool very clean, good housekeeping, very good breakfast and lots more.

Ulemper: Nothing

Fordeler: Everything was fine nice hotel and staff are warm and friendly.

Ulemper: Not much to dislike can't fault the place.

Fordeler: The pools and spa were so nice that they clearly competed with the beach of maspalomas. Moreover, the beds and linen were amazing, making you sleep like a baby. Breakfast at the 360 is spectacular: eating while feeling the ocean breeze and seing the amazing dunes and ocean!!

Ulemper: The 360 restaurant. We had a reservation which they did not seem to respect at all: we waited for half an hour and ended up leaving. They should treat guests with prefered care over outsiders who go there just to eat.

Ulemper: Only was geven 2 bottels of water per day in the room for 2 people. Could not request more. No snacks available anymore between 18-23h

Fordeler: Fantastisk hotell med flott beliggenhet, fantastisk personale, utmerket god mat og ellers alt perfekt.

Ulemper: Ikke mye å sette fingeren på. Et par ganger var det barn i bassenget som kun er dedikert til de voksne.

Fordeler: Proximity to the beach great location

Ulemper: Lady at kid club was very rude to my kid which affected whole stay, and the dining experiences queuing up for a steak or an egg does not really excites us , is not really a 5 star hotel is a good 4 stars one although facilities are well maintained they are dated.

Fordeler: Excellent location, breakfast fabulous, cleaniness first rate and staff extremely helpful and friendly.

Ulemper: There's nothing not to like...

Fordeler: Just pure quietness & relaxation

Ulemper: The 4 hour flight to get to Maspalomas which you can’t do anything about!!

Fordeler: On our visit to Palm Beach, the weather was a glorious 29 degrees, sunny and hot. What we loved about Palm Beach was it's close proximity to the beach so we could enjoy the wonderful cooling breeze from the sea. The next best thing about Palm Beach is the food, wonderful buffets' and Al la Carte from any of their three restaurants. The courtesy of the staff here deserve a special mention. They really go over and above to make you feel so welcome and appreciated. Great room service also.

Ulemper: Nothing not to like really.

Ulemper: There was no bath tub in junior suite as requested Room was uninhabitable on arrival due to excessive smell of cigarette smoke The only offer the hotel made was to give another non suite room for the 1st night Even after cleaning again, the suite still smelt of smoke until the end of our 8 day stay The only compensation offer from the hotel, was a 96 Euro reduction from the Euro 609 cost of the suite for one night

Fordeler: The staff were wonderful without exception. My room was very comfortable and cosy. The food was excellent. The pool sheer joy. Generally a laid back, no fuss atmosphere. Excellent location for morning runs along a nature reserve and afternoon strolls along the sea front. All in al fabulous.

Ulemper: Nothing

Fordeler: Mostly the staff, always smiling and ready to help The food was delicious! Also very clean The animators team was brilliant Thank You for making the birthday of my som even more special!!!

Ulemper: Our room was upgraded and was bigger, but no view and also we had to pay extra for a coffee capsule which was a bit annoying. According to me in this type of hotel you rather make the price even higher, in order not to bother guests with 2 euro for Wi-Fi or 2.50 euros for coffee in the room because you’re going to ruin the class of the hotel . Somehow looks funny! In any case I thank you for making our holidays more comfortable and happy!!

Fordeler: Unique African theme, very relaxed and excellent staff.

Ulemper: Stop making noise when cleaning beds in the morning, common, it's five-star hotel... More shows inside are welcomed, including cinema, and other services, clearly presented at now empty reception area.

Ulemper: Many people reserving sunbeds, sometimes controls, but for nothing! Food is only ok, nothing special, but looks very nice.

Fordeler: Fin beliggenhet like overfor stranden, bra treningsrom og rikholdig utvalg mat i bufferen. Stort rom med markterasse utenfor og sofaområde inne. Flere bassengområder man kan oppholde seg ved

Ulemper: Måtte betale ekstra for å komme inn i spa området med basseng, burde være helt unødvendig når oppholdet alt er såpass kostbart. Spisesalen er så stor så blir ukoselig / upersonlig. Selv med et stort og rikholdig utvalg mat blir det en cafe-opplevelse å spise middag. Stedet har alt innenfor anlegget, men ble for stort for meg.

Fordeler: Close to one beach private-ish beach. Was hidden from the board walk. Would of been to go for a 2-4 trip not 6 nights 7 days.

Ulemper: The bed was uncomfortable, the resort was a maze to get threw. Resort was for older folk as young travellers we were bored by the entertainment and didn’t always want to lounge around the pools or drink a lot. The food was hit and miss; the staff was great on the first night getting our plates taken away but as time went on we had to pile our dirty plates up so they would notice we were done. Our room smelled quiet bad with or without the ac on, we would of like to open a window but we couldn’t being on the first floor. The resort needed some maintenance as people were tripping as they walked around the resort. Even though we had all inclusive we were doing a lot more work than we should of.

Fordeler: Clean comfortable and quiet . Lovely pool too.spa was great ..had a massage which really enjoyed .

Ulemper: Buffet food good but did not vary enough . Needed daily specials . Felt daily water should be provided in rooms . Some staff seemed very disinterested but others were great !

Ulemper: The hotel is laid out on quite a confusing way, particularly with regard to the lifts. Also there is a flight of spiral stairs outside the buffet restaurant that is quite dangerous, the 1st step blends into the rest of the surrounding path and so it’s quite easy to miss the first step and trip, very dangerous in my opinion.

Ulemper: Service in restaurant could be better seemed as if not enough staff and a little slow service but still overall a great hotel.

Fordeler: Absolutely superb. Great staff, incredible food and entertainment, heated outdoor pools, and stunning sea views, I would absolutely go back in a heartbeat

Ulemper: Vi hadde bestilt for en god tid siden. Da vi kom hadde vi to flotte dager med alle fasiliteter. To dager senere stengte de pool-baren for riving, masse støy, banking og sement-støv over hele området. Ingen opplysninger om dette, hadde rom rett foran, og hørte på bråket fra 08.00 om morgenen og hele dagen. Ferien ødelagt, de bare trakk på skuldrene og unskyldte seg, ikke noe mer. VELDIG dårlig kundebehandling. Andre gang vi har prøvd, første gang var det misbruk av Master Card våres av en av de ansatte.

Fordeler: Deilig frisk frukt litt for en hver smak. Rent og delikat

Ulemper: Kommer Ann på hva en forventer seg. Vær posetiv når du reiser på ferien da vil selv en liten feil bli minimal.

Ulemper: At det var vanskelig å få solsenger som var nærmest bassenget.

Fordeler: Everything. Best holiday in years.

Ulemper: The first face we met on arrival at the hotel was the doorman, what a gentleman. In fact all the staff were fantastic. They would go out of their way to make you happy. Always smiling and saluting. Hotel spotless, including pool area. Loads of sun loungers and no need to be up at the crack of dawn to book one. Meals were top class. Surroundings beautiful. Will definitely be going back there again.
