nothing special yes, the checkin time of this hotel is rediculous. there is no waiting are guest lounge where the guest can sit if they arrive earlier. I reached Geneva at 10, and then I was moving around here and there. I went to hotal comedie at 1;30 but the doors were closed and there was no one on the reception on Sunday. So I was waiting there outside, but no one came. Then at 2:15 I started to ring the bell outside the door, then one lady picked up the phone and opened the door. that was rediculous.Even more, there was no facility for the drinking water in the rooms. So after coming to hetel, again you have to go out to have a water bottle. that is also shameless.
proximity of public transportation no air conditioning and quite hot during the night
We did not have a pleasant stay at thie hotel. We were very happy to leave the hotel. We did not find this to be a friendly hotel. The corridors were filled with old refrigerators and furniture, which we felt was a fire hazard. The elevator could barely hold two people, even without suitcases. The staff started loud cleaning at 8:00 a.m. The breakfast room was not adequate for the number of people there.
We chose the hotel for availability and location. Room was spacious and clean.Great if you fancy a 70s nostalgia trip. Hard to believe this is a 3 star hotel !! The decor and furniture style was "Conforanma" I.E. one step below ikea = basic, basic, cheap. Interior pictures on the website do not correspond with reality in our "superior twin room". Service is b&b style, serve yourself and come and go as you like with your own key, car access and luggage discharge is difficult. Noisy street with early morning tram traffic. Roomrates are unacceptable for the level of quality and service.
A room was of a good size. That's all. Reception area is not nice at all. I arrived around 7 pm and there was nobody at the reception desk. So, I had to wait for a long time for a reception lady to come down and check me in. Breakfast was really very poor.
The situation in town. Quite small breakfast room and serving during breakfast was quite minimal. Small and narrow entrance area.
very friendly and quiet in a good location
The nice reception and the good support in advicing on local transport which was free by courticy of the hotel No shower in the bath
Nice hotel staff, service minded and polite Very poor breakfast
Good connection with public transportation The double bed is very small size. It's not comfortable to get to the safety box. Not all the lamps worked. The work time of reception isn't comfortable. The first entrance to hotel isn't possible without to call to reception
The hotel is in a quiet courtyard, but very near shops and three tram lines. The kitchen was stocked with enough crockery and cultery for most simple meals for two people. Unfortunately, our apartment was on the ground floor, and hence we had people passing our windows. However, it seems like ours was the only one like this.
It was clean and comfortable, good deal for it's price. Easily accessible, because it is close to a tram stop. We weren't aware that the reception doesn't operate 24/7, because we arrived late in the afternoon (8pm) we had a little trouble checking-in. But it finally worked out through the phone. It would be nice if the hours of operation could be found on the site.
bad instruction, hard to find the real location. when you reach the gate, you find the name is different with that on the web.
Large rooms, good wifi, quiet, and confortable, perfect location. no complaints.
