- The reception went above and beyond to make us feel like VIP guests, they worked out it was my boyfriend's birthday from his passport and made our stay special by sending us flowers and a personalised cake. - The breakfast exceeded expectation in terms of variety and quality of food. - The fresh flowers in the room - Peaceful hotel with a beautiful view from our room - The bathtub was huge, such a treat - A little unorganised, we had booked the room in advance and arrived past 3pm yet we still had to wait at reception for a time whilst they prepared the room. - We drove a motorbike there and got very lost trying to find it. They need to do a bit more signposting on the main roads leading up to the hotel, they need to take in to account it's in a very out of the way location. -It will probably increase the chance of walk-in guests if they simply put a few more signs out on the main roads leading up to the hotel.
The staff was the hallmark, no request too difficult or too mundane. And all cheerfully met. The hotel is an extreme value for the money. 4 star facility and location with 5 star service for a 3 star price. A small comment from my wife about a camera phone's memory being full was met with, "we can burn a CD for you." When the CD and phone were returned 5 minutes later, her comment of, "if only I had a laptop with a CD player so I could review all the photos I took," was met with, we can have housekeeping install a DVD player in your room for you. When we returned to a room, literally 9 minutes later, there was the DVD player installed and ready to go. During the first night, we had a street view room, and being a Saturday night, there was quite of bit of traffic noise that could be heard in the room. At breakfast early the next morning, the waitress asked how did we sleep? We mentioned the traffic noise. WIthin 3 minutes the hotel manager came and changed our room to a garden view.
Lovely big room and picturesque location on the riverside.Free use of computers in business room. Nice pool.Short walk to town centre. Enjoyed free tastings of local food at the hotel's mini market each evening. Dail fresh fruit in the room was nice. Towels were thin and restaurant meals were ordinary
Great breakfast, lots to choose from. Very near to the centre of Hoi An, just a 5 minute walk.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, location was excellent - facilities were extensive.
The central situation was very good . Breakfast was reasonable. The garden vieuw room had a very small window so we got a luxury room which was very nice, looking over the river but was overpriced. There was no internet connection in the room.
The bed we got was the worst bed we have experienced in all of Vietnam. The room and bathroom were very basic. No value for money. We moves to Life Heratige. Much Better!
Friendliness of the staff and the peaceful atmosphere. Nice balcony and great views.
- Breakfast was tasty, served by the garden/pond in the back of the hotel - Too overpriced for the quality of the room and facilities, in comparison to vietnamese standards - The 20 USD extra charged for the street view (vs garden view) were not worth the price
Staff were very kind and helpfull. Lovely place, charming balcony for brekfast buffet, and beautiful bedrooms. No, everything was perfect.
The room had a fantastic view and there was a good buffet breakfast. The bed wasn't too hard and the room looked great. We had a number of problems with our room, the toilet broke and there was no hot water. The toilet was immediately fixed, but the hot water we had to mention twice for it to be fixed. Also the air conditioning never worked in our room, even after 3 attempts to fix.
The helpful and charming manner of the staff is the best feature of this hotel. They made our stay a very enjoyable experience. Nothing was too much trouble and they gave us a lot of time and attention. The lack of power points in usable places in the room. Our room was rather small for a double, with the bed pushed against the wall, making access awkward. Our travelling companions paid the same (Quite high) price as us yet had a room twice the size with 2 beds. Location was in a rather grubby unpleasant area. Worst feature was being told the day before we left that we had to pay in cash. No credit card facility.
Please write at least 15 words the helpful staff Worst street in hoi an. Pool was the size of a large tub. No pool chairs.
When we have checked in at the hotel upon our arrival, the check in representative walked us in our room. While he was walking in front of us, he was picking up his nose which took at least 1 minute, and he than throw what he find inside his nose. Nose picking is a accepted behaviour and a veey dirty habit of Vietnamese people ..however it is not exapted at the majority by the world and it is discusting and gross. Especially in the service business where foregin guests are hosted it is just unacceptable unspeakable do and ruins everything....
The room was nice, enough space for 2 people. The staff was quick with accommodating a change from one king to two twins. Breakfast Buffet was nice with many offerings. The massage and facial offerings were nice. The massage was just okay. My friend felt like the facial was also just okay. They both left something to be desired, however we cannot complain about the prices. both were economical compared to US prices.
Out stay at hio an hotel was great, the breakfast in the mornings were all outstanding and the staff were nice! there are a few geckos living on the roof of your room however you do get use to it as there are lots around hoi an. Overall was a great place to stay, the pool was very relaxing!
Lovely breakfast, nice pool, good-sized room For a 4 star hotel, we expected a bit more - shower did not work very well, staff were unhelpful.
Close proximity to Old Town of Hoi An The shower pressure is appallingand needs to be seen to. Staff on reception are plentiful, but do not look too happy and at times appeared to be just going throug the motions. Staff in restaurants and bar on the other hand were mostly bubbly and happy and attentive. Rooms auto turn off the aircon and in summer heat this is really silly as we returned every day seeking some cool place. I certainly fouund their prices for Laundry and drinks ex mini bar to be ridiculously priced. If you want to charge 5 star prices your service must be at that standard. It is a very good 3 star hotel, not more than that I regret. I rfound 3 star hotels in Hue and HAnoi were far superior to the Hoi An Hotel.
The architectural design of the hotel is spacious, airy and light and gave a feeling of high end luxury and of being in a lovely resort, it also had an asian design feel which suited the environment. The amenities such as the pool were lovely and we did the cooking class which was also very good. We had been travelling for several weeks and it was great to arrive to such a luxurious hotel - the bathroom was particularly large and very nice to use. Everything was great, only one comment and that is that the mattress could have been a little softer - we found all of the hotels in Vietnam had very hard matresses - maybe offering an option/choice of firm or softer mattress would be a nice added extra luxury.
The resort was one of the best I have ever been in. Location, staff, amenities and the pool and the food! Just marvelous
Lovely hotel and located right on beautiful Cua Dai beach. The gardens and the design of our room was gorgeous. fantastic swimming pool and plenty of sun lounges! Unfortunately the bed was way too hard for our liking and even though the ensuite bathroom was beautiful, the shower recess was grubby and in need of a good scrub. Also, the buffet breakfast was very sub-standard. Warm fruit juice and stale cereals.
The staff were truely lovely but I hated the hotel the minute I pulled up. The pictures are not representative and I'm not sure how they have 3 stars. If you're in your teens and backpacking, you'll probably like it. I checked in but only long enough to find another hotel. The staff were genuinely surprised that I wouldn't stay. They were so nice I felt bad!
the first two nights we had a nice room with a balcony (like offered at booking.com), the breakfast (buffet) was good, the staff was very helpful in booking trips and further hotels we stayed one night longer and asked for a lower rate, we got a cheaper room and from this moment we missed all the good things from the two nights before... also the staff changed...
The hotel is a 10-15 min walk to the centre of Hoi An which is excellent. Breakfasts are buffet style and there is always a good variety of food. Pool is a plus. The hotel is too expensive for what it offers guests. Cold water, fuzzy tv, short-circuiting powerpoints, extremely slow internet and a price that was more expensive than many other lovely hotels I stayed in on the trip in Vietnam.
It is a nice hotel but I don't think that the money we paid was worth it. A little bit expensive The pictures showed in booking are not real. The rooms are smaller, and the swimming pool is real small. The breakfast is no really good, and it is not close to the city centre.
Location was good very dirty room, very old and dirty pool
Right on the beach was perfect and good swimming pool. And as in a resort of about 100 rooms we only counted 13 guests in the 3 nights we were there we usually had the pool to ourselves. Plenty of things wrong with this hotel. We tried to check in and they had no record of your booking and steadfastly demanded to see the e mail confirmation yet couldn't as their internet wasn't working. They spoke little English and didn't really help by answering every question with yes even when it was blinding obviously they didn't understand. The room was fine, tv channels sometimes didn't work. Can't complain about the room apart from a low pressure shower. The place has 2 restaurants yet they serve exactly the same menu. Food was good and not that expensive, service not great. Couldn't recommend for the money, if you want to be right on the beach pay the 30 dollars extra a night and stay next door.
Walking distance to Hio An Old town. Complimentary bikes to go to the beach (which was very windy) - in good shape and good availability.Very friendly staff. Rooms very nicely furnished - luxury bathroom. Beautiful pool area. Overall we were very please with this hotel.
good service. kind people water in minibar too expensive.
The staff was very attentive with good English skills, very comfortable and relaxing stay. The bathroom slats allow the person inside and the person outside to see each other, I would have perferred a closed off bathing area.
Excellent location on the beach, but still close to Hoi An. Good facilities and very pleasant staff. Good, clean room. Free WiFi also a positive. Pricing for most aspects was on the high end for Vietnam, but felt resonable for the standard of service. Exceptions was prices charged for laundry which were felt to be overly excessive and only tend to create business for all the little laundry places down the road. If you are a business person with a shirt or two to be laundered, it's not too bad, but when you are on holiday with lots of laundry to be done, it gets ridiculous.
. Your staff, the gardens the pool we enjoyed the resort and will come again breakfast v good selection dinner menu was disappoiting, only had dinner once at hotel
Perfect sea view, friendly personell, very clean beach, free shutle bus to Hoian city/
The first impression on entering the hotel is very favourable. The reception area opens up on to large airy atrium with a sweeping staircase on either side leading to the first floor. Our room was a junior suite - room 103. It was huge with two double beds in one room and an equally large living area separated by a sliding door. The decor is Vietnamese / Chinese. Our room had an enormous balcony looking out over the lush gardens and the swimming pool. There were two spacious bathrooms and two TVs with English language channels - great for the kids! The breakfasts were excellent with a good selection of Asian and western foods. The pool is great, although it is quite deep - minimum depth about 4.5 - 5 feet. There are some signs of storm damage to some of the roof in parts of the hotel and I hope they manage to keep up with repairs as this is a super hotel and it would be a shame for it to become delapidated.
beautiful vietnamese style hotel, excellent breakfast buffet,Spa and swimming pool, also excellent location, half way from beach and hoi an town, along beautiful river; highly recommended. nothing really bad except maybe the front desk staff ,not always concerned by our requests but we managed to do without help.
The location was great being just outside the town, they offer free shuttles and bikes to access the town. The pool is a fantastic get away, drinks were great and the people super polite. The food was the only thing that needs improvement. Other than that great vale The food
Nice and clean pool. Shuttle to city/beach at no extra cost. Rooms are not so sound insulated. You can easily be disturbed by neighbours or noise from the adjacent buildings or gardens.
The hotel is really great, halfway from the beach and the city, very quiet and perfect for families and couples. Rooms are luxurious, big, and clean. Definitely, a very good experience that I will repeat if I come back to Hoi An
Perfect location between beach and town, lots of nice local restaurants outside hotel. Staff remeber you and treat you very well. Stayed in suite for small upgrade fee, definitely worth it. Free bike rental means beach only 10 minutes away, or 1 usd in taxi. In terms of price vs. what you get, a super hotel. f
It was an excellent 4-Star Hotel in all aspects. Had no issues, problems, or concerns. They even provided a complimentary shuttle to the beach where the had partnered with a nice little restaurant on the beach so we had free lounge chairs (the really nice ones) and free umbrellas (the really nice kind). Could not have been more pleased. The price of the items in the mini bar were also most reasonable. Hotel Spa services prices were a bit high compared to my earlier 4-Star Vietnamese hotel.
