The web page showed a indoor swimming pool, we picked this hotel because the pool looked nice. A very disappointed 5 year old, try to explain to a 5 year old that we are not going swimming. I feel this is false advertisement, I would of never paid what we paid to stay at this hotel without it having a swimming pool.
Change the breakfast menu up day to day. Stayed 7 days ate the same thing everyday Need recycling trash cans
I was unable to go to the Silver Cloud on my initial date, but they were super accommodating by letting me switch days for no charge.
I stayed at the Silver Cloud University Village since it was close to the Alaska Arena when my granddaughter was playing volleyball,. Unfortunately, I forgot my medications and I needed to check out one day early. Since I booked with Kayak, the hotel would not refund my money. I could not find a phone number for Kayak to pursue a refund. I will no longer use a third party to book a reservation.
Quiet, clean and comfortable.
Room, pool, exercise center Tiny toilet, too pricey
The location close to the University of Washington was very convenient. The staff was quite friendly. It was loud (because of traffic and adjacent room air conditioner) and although my room was clean, the hallways needed a little attention (carpet stains, etc)
Staff was friendly and helpful-they did all they could I believe. Exterior of hotel dirty, cigarette butts all over the park lot. Indoor carpeting appeared dirty, Impossible to shower comfortably, cold to scalding water.
Easy one night stay Nothing
This motels main feature is that it is cheap and close to the UW Hospital. The room was clean, but worn. The bathroom, though clean, smelled of mildew.
The couch was not even remotely comfortable. We were only given two pillows which were not comfortable. One pillowcase was thin enough to notice a long black hair between the case and the pillow. Also, two long black hairs were found on one of the towels as one of us was drying ourself out of the shower.
It is across the street from the rejuvenated University Village mall! The building needs an reno, but as long as you keep realistic expectations, the place is fine. Luxury? No. Basic needs? Yes!
The location was convenient with the University and shopping close by. 2 blocks away was a shopping center that included a grocery store, drugstore, restaurants, clothing stores, etc. The breakfast was good, as advertised. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again! The parking was tight. The rooms could use a new updating (new paint!) as well as the hallway. The hallway carpet was dingy. The bathroom needed new shower curtains and a very thorough cleaning. The hotel is a bit rundown looking but safe and convenient for the price.
They sent me to the wrong room. Twice.
Shirley the daytime clerk gave me a refund upon check out for the lack of tv in the room. Shabby looking interior. After arrival I informed the afternoon clerk that my TV was not working. 3 days later it still was not working when I checked out.
