Great food quality for breakfast
My friends and I stayed here for a birthday. We hit the hot tub and pool, then went out for dinner and drinks, and came back to sleep. Loved the modern, clean feel and the hot tub and pool. All was nice, quiet and comfortable. Appreciated floors 2+ being secure (needed a room key to access after a certain time). I did wish they had security at the front door.,My friends and I stayed here for a birthday. We hit the hot tub and pool, then went out for dinner and drinks, and came back to sleep. Parking was $10 for the garage but we found free street parking on the weekend. Breakfast is a bit expensive - $12 for hot breakfast, $6 for continental. Overall, a pretty good deal. With free hot breakfast, they would be a clear winner for this price range downtown. I am glad we chose this one, as it was quieter than the Holiday Inn or others nearby.
Great service, great facility, great staff Not in the old market area. Short walk away.
The attached parking garage and the knowledge along with the service the staff provided was excellent. Price for breakfast was pretty steep. Elevator lobbies for the parking garage were filthy.
Loved being away from the interstate but still close enough that it was easy to access. Location was close to a lot of action but felt very safe. Solid room and nice view (6th floor) but nothing fabulous; basic upscale casual property. Paying for parking is a drag, but only $10 per night. Also, breakfast is not free/included in room price. Pool is quite small.
Convenient location, good room, but nothing special Hot tub was broken and became a "cold" tub. The only breakfast available was $15 each for the buffet.. Also had to pay for parking.
Mike I believe is his name was the shuttle driver and took our luggage to our room; he was great!
Location was very convenient to airport and downtown business district. Would be really great for college world series in June each year.
Room was geeat Could not get wifi in room
Location is good, right next to sporting venues and downtown. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and the lobby looked nice. Charging to use the internet and the gym/pool is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. How is it that Motel 6 gives free wifi at most locations and the Hilton wants $10 per day to use the internet? They also charge for the use of the gym and pool, which didn't even have drinking cups for the water cooler. The hotel staff and I also have different definitions of what "city view" means. I had a great view of a freeway offramp.
would stay there again and would recommend it to my friends and family
This is an awesome hotel and we love that it is connected to the Quest Center for concerts! It would be nice if it had some kind of complimentary breakfast with as much as it costs.
cookie particles was not cleaned in the second day. cleaning has not parfect.
the entire staff was most helpful and friendly
rooms are good size, bed is comfortable. could be cleaner - for instance, clean the telephones!!!
I liked the staff, they where really friendly and super helpful. I did not like, I b the other hand, what they had to offer for such a high price... even super 8's have free WiFi and complimentary breakfast to their clients.
Got a good price. It wasn't terrible Leaky ceiling in bathroom. Weird moldy/smokey smell. Cigarette burned comforter. I wasn't really expecting greatness, so overall it was good for the price.
Staff was friendly, and it was in a good location. There was mold in the a.c., and I could tell the place needed a refit. Not bad for a last minute hotel, but it's a health inspector's wet dream.
That I didn't catch anything while I was there.. oh... and leaving.. Everything.... this place is a step above a homeless shelter... the hot tub must double as a toilet because that %*&$, was brown as a UPS truck. Everything is dirty and I recommend bringing your own blankets and sheets unless you want to be daring and chance not getting a sticky surprise... My advice DON'T BE CHEAP... and pony up the cash for a better hotel... Don't be like me...
Good location I guess It was dirty, had broken lights, the shower was clogged and it had orange sticky stuff splattered all over the wall. It smelled bad, the door looked like it had been kicked in lots of times. The pool area was under maintenence the entire time
Comfortable beds - nice clean rooms - Staff very polite and helpful. no frig in room better selection of channels on TV Little pricey More selection on menu
Grand old building. Updated bathrooms. Breakfast in the morning.
Wide corridors, comfy bed, tall ceilings. Good breakfast buffet, cookies at night, friendly staff perfumy smelling lobby
The rooms were clean and decent size. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again in the future. The only real issue was that the rate I was quoted through booking.com was not the rate the hotel had us confirmed at. They immediately made a copy of our confirmation slip and the rate was adjusted. It could have been a hassle had we not brought written confirmation of the rate.
Everything was excellent, it is a good convienent place to stay in downtown Omaha
Great staff, great Cookies. Friendly people. Will stay again. Price was great.
close to qwest centre
The dinner buffet is awesome and breakfast is super as well. When you add it all up, can't beat the overall price. Bianca is a superstar and super friendly. What a great experience. Nothing at all.
I loved the little kitchen, which had everything we needed. Our room was very cozy and inviting. Also, very clean. The employees were very nice as well! The curtains didnt close all the way, so we only had a sheer white curtain for privacy.
Great hotel. We stayed 3 nights & everything was nice & clean. Loved having a little kitchenette. The breakfast was very good & we liked that they changed up the hot items every day. All the workers we encountered were very nice & made you feel welcomed. The area seemed very nice & safe. Several restaurants within walking distance. Thanks for an AWESOME stay. The bed we had was very squeaky & soft (which hurt my back) but my husband said it helped his.
The staff were very friendly and professional. The location is great for being able to walk to the market shops & Restaurants. The gym was well maintained and equipped. Beautiful lay out and love the water streams and fish! We stayed on the top floor and the vending machines ran out of complimentary snacks & drinks our first night ( we had a 3 night stay) The rooms although clean are starting to show their age and the decorations are dated could use a makeover
Everyone was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed myself very much. Maybe the fitness center could have used some more weight machines-I can do cardio outside anytime.
Close to old market, has a shuttle to get you just about everywhere you want to go in Omaha Internet was EXTRA, parking was EXTRA
breakfast was ok very disappointed. room wasn't ready on time, the pool was out of order, and had been for weeks apparently(wish they would've told me that when booking) ice maker didn't work, front desk just replied"oh,well there's one on 2nd floor you'll just have to use that one" key card didn't work either when trying to come in from outside of bldg to inside. would like to get some compensation ,really.
The Staff were especially accommodating and went out of their way to help upgrade us (for free!) when the room we Booked was not available. The extra space made our stay more enjoyable and comfortable.
My husband, 4 yr old, 1-1/2 yr old and I stayed here 2 nights while attending the zoo. Can't beat the location for that! Staff was friendly, although not always as attentive as I would like. I do however, feel this has more to do with the age of the staff than the facility. Motel is older but not falling down. Would have liked more water pressure when showering but it worked. Beds were clean & comfortable. We were tucked back in a corner and didn't hear much noise. The room wasn't overly cramped so the kids had some space to move around. Could have easily put up a pack 'n play. It was nice to have the microwave and refrigerator. Water pressure when showering was low. Pool isn't very big and no hot tub. Got to breakfast late the first morning and there wasn't a lot of options (our fault though) and the sausages I got were cold.
The staff was awesome. Very friendly. Felt comfortable. The room was clean. We had a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The morning food was great. We plan to use this hotel on a regular basis.
The room we had, had very high ceilings making the room feel so large. Very comfortable bedding and perfect for a few friends to stay for a night on the town. The room we got had huge windows and was a corner suite it was a little bright in the morning for a couple of girls with handovers, even with the black out curtains shut,
Loved the location!!
Steve Skelly is very customer oriented, and loves the property he manages. He used his expertise to solve a problem I had with another company. Many thanks! Ask him for an historic tour of the original entrance. AAA++++++
The staff was wonderful!
Super comfortable beds. Staff is very friendly. Big screen TV's. mini fridges and Microwaves in every room. This is my 5th stay and I won't stay anywhere else in Omaha. The value is excellent. Peeling paint in the bathroom from moisture. It wasn't excessive, but it was there. Breakfast while meager is adequate, but does seem to be a few days old.
Clean room, quiet night, bathroom very nice
Great price and location for night stay on s long road trip. Good breakfast and clean room.
The price and location! Breakfast was cold and seemed like leftovers from the day before.
Comfortable beds, friendly staff, clean, excellent experience. Quiet. Thank you very much.
Definetly the best value for money hotel I have stayed in the USA. Great rooms and great value for money. Staff where great. Highly recommend
Everything especially the staff they were wonderful!
Very relaxing environment and shuttle was very helpful dropping off and picking up at all the museums, events and activities going on close to the Hampton. Was thinking that the room came with a mini frig for the small children's milk and fruit. Had some issues with room scheduled and reserved back in January of 2014 for a July 2014 Friday afternoon evening and Saturday evening family reunion events. Having staff double book the room and late preparation setup for the fifty plus family members.
The hotel staff was very friendly! The front desk clerk was very generous and upgraded us to a suite. Very clean rooms, comfortable beds. Great location- we walked to Blatt's bar (which I highly recommend!). They do have a shuttle that will take you to the Old Market and airport. Would definitely stay again!
The room was large and well appointed. The bathroom was surprisingly high end with regard to The fixtures and functionality. I like to take stairwells whenever possible. I was unable to enter the stairwell on the first floor. Sometimes this is my only form of exercise and I like to build it in to my day. I am sure this is for safety reasons and certainly understand.
people were very friendly and there was a nice selection at breakfast the carpet was disgusting and I did fear that my car was not safe overnight.
The bed was so comfortable. Staff were efficient and courteous. Unfortunately the hotel is dated and you could tell they used to allow smoking in rooms.
The location was great Free breakfast was a joke. They only had milk and coffee for everyone to drink. Then they had cereal and muffins. And I mean that was the free breakfast that they offered. This hotel receives a lot of traffic for families wanting to use coco keys and to me the free breakfast should offer more.
Clean, centrally located. Parking problem. Not nearly enough for a busy weekend.
I liked the room darkening curtains, cable tv, and the waterpark was decent. I found a bedbug in my pj's the morning after our first night stay there and a few bites on skin as well. Of course I called down to the front desk and asked to be switched to a new room immediately, and they came up with new keys for the room directly above me along with 5 free wrist bands for the waterpark all weekend, there was bugs in there too though, not bedbugs, but little tiny clear nat things flying around and landing on you.. it was bad. Customer service was really slow, ordered an additional 4 pillows and the brought up 4 towels 45mins later. Then took an additional 10mins to bring back 4 pillows. My Niece who was staying in the room with me had a really bad cold and we left for the day to go to the Old Market and left a note asking for a couple of boxes of tissue because we ran out. When we got back, no tissue, but beds were made so we know they saw the note and ignored it. So, again we called down to customer service for tissue and t took another 30mins at least. The elevators were extremely slow. If I wasn't there for a family reunion, I would've switch. Next time, I'll do like my cousin did and rent a house for $110 a night instead.
The staff was friendly. The bed was uncomfortable. They only gave us small sleeping pillows that were pretty hard. Also, a mouse came to visit us during the night. That was pretty disgusting!
The evening and late night staff I would have to say we're the best part of my stay. The rudeness and the ability to communicate by the day time staff
How close it was to the zoo and stores The beds were very hard, took 3 hours to get a baby crib, the main reason I booked here was for the water resort and it was closed down the day before and I never got notification so I could cancel and get a hotel that had a pool..very disappointed
Friendly service and easy to locate didn't like that the sauna didn't work
Quick check in, staff was friendly, good breakfast.. Floors were a little hard, just thin carpet over concrete, shower controls were overly complicated, wish the bar was open..
Staff was friendly. It was quiet and clean. The bed was comfy. The appliances; tv, microwave, etc. were outdated.
The breakfast was wonderful. Expansive. The pool was heated and very clean. Our room was clean. Run down in places. The sauna didn't work while we were there.
Nothing Rude, misrepresented featured, they hate third party booking companies, they do not care if you are happy or stay.
The beds were comfy and the hotel staff was courteous. The hot breakfast was good. The lobby area looked nice and clean. Decent pricing, for our stay. The sauna wasn't heating up. The pool also had a light hanging out and the water was freezing. I saw a few pill bugs in our room.
This hotels looks like it had seen better days in the past. The curb appeal and entry is great but it stops there. Hotel was dirty and carpets were stained. Bed linens were old and stained. Seems like maintenance is under-staffed as there were broken items in the hotel room (e.g. A lamp didn't work and the toilet kept making loud noises every half hour). I wouldn't recommend staying here.
Good location The hotel is really starting to look worn. My shower went from scalding hot to ice cold. There was mildew in the corners of the tub grout. The complimentary coffee creamer in the room was a solid brick and never dissolved. Who knows how old it was. The coffee itself tasted like hot brown water. The little "store" area was completely depleted and I was told the manager hadn't been shopping. I did buy a small, individual bag of chips, which I was charged TWO dollars for!! I've stayed in this hotel about 3 times over the last 5 years and I feel like I'm tracking its slow death.
Good hot breakfast, and good location close to freeway Dirty, threadbare sheets and towels, maintenance needed, internet is so slow as to be unusable.
Cost and it was authentic Minor up keep paint sauna didn't work
The lobby...... It was the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen. The lobby was lovely and I never expected to walk into the building my room was in and see filthy floors up 2 flights of stairs. Like it had never been vacuumed ! Got to the room and the desk chair, which I needed was broken and in permanent lean. The hotel phone in the room also did not work. So we called the front desk for a chair and a phone and we were told when the maintenance man would be in later that day..... Any other hotel would have brought a chair and phone right away or switched us to a different room. Not this place. We took 4 hour nap on top of the sheets and checked out immediately.
There was no mention of a room deposit on tge website or any emails. I had to let them hold $25 per night on my card for "incidentals". Because this wasn't mentioned anywhere till I got to the motel I had not planned that extra expence.
Not a thing Someone piled in the elevator took the staff a very long time to pick up several hours. Towels in the hallway had fecal matter on them and they laid out the entire time we were there. Breakfast was an absolute joke.
The ease of it being right on the interstate the coffee maker was broken but they quickly replaced it.
the breakfast i honestly can't think of anything.
Great price for the area. It just felt a bit odd and looked like they were making improvements.
The staff were very friendly and helpful The first room I was put in, the toilet was broke and the heat did not work
I would have to say the breakfast. I honestly can't think of anything to complain about.
The rooms are very large. We had two with 2 king size beds in each. Everything was clean and updated. The staff was wonderful and friendly with our children. The pool room was a little cold- it would have been nice if it were a couple degrees warmer.
I love this hotel and their staff! I had a broken air/heat unit in my room and they did every single thing necessary to get it fixed. Great clean waterpark, and good food at the restaurant. Worth every penny as my 6-year-old had a blast! The only thing that I wish they had was a staff member to man the waterslide at peak times. Other parents were not properly supervising their children, and they were hitting each other while sliding. It's a recipe for a lawsuit.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Newer hotel, super comfortable bed, spacious room. Blinds in the room were not operational. Shower would not switch from spout to shower. Ended up showing with all the pressure coming out of the spout and almost none from the actual shower.
The room was nice and clean. There was a staff member that harassed us in the pool area, making up rules and arguing with my wife and family. She then followed my wife when she left to speak to th manager and began around there as well. Ruined the whole stay.
location and the room restaurant was horrible...poor service, bad food and drinks.. over priced...noisy...
Very new , great room layout with defined lounging and sleeping areas, very spacious. Shuttle to Old Market. Nothing
The water park!
Location is near places we wanted to visit in Omaha. Shuttle service to downtown works when you are tired from going places, just give them 30mins to an hour notice Indoor water park is great for those coming with kids The staff hung up on me twice when I was not yet done with the call. On a seperate occasion I perceived a lack of training in customer relations, so unlike a hotel like holiday inn. I don't ask much, but they come off as impersonal, sometimes rude.
The newness, updated features such as enough outlets!! Kind of hard to find the parking and entrance. Lighting in bathroom is not very bright for applying makeup
Great staff. Parking was cramped.
well I was kind of treated poorly once they realized I booked through a third party. They were very nice until they realized I had booked not through them directly. The attitude changed and then they sent me to a room, but I felt like I was put in the "reject wing." just was very odd and not impressive.
The new bar and lobby areas are very nice and modern. We had appetizers and drinks after the concert we attended and they were delicious!
Great morning breakfast to start the day
I liked the friendly service I received even at 12:30 am. Comfortable bed. Nice shower. Little noisy in the hallway. There was a bar next door that seemed to have a rough crowd, which made me nervous, but there we're no problems.
Clean and quiet. Very friendly staff.
I liked the motel for the most part but some things really got to me but the beds were very comfortable I tried to call while we were out seeing my son so I could see if we were able to have guests at the pool and I was put on hold for 15 minutes then someone picked up the phone and hung up on me I was furious so I drove all the way to the motel only to find out that the pool was an outdoor pool so we couldn't even swim and the chart on the counter which showed rooms on all sides of the pool but nowhere said outdoor pool and nobody let me know that and maybe I missed it when checking out the motel online but had I known that I would have went somewhere else
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved our stay! The breakfast bar... I cannot eat anything with Gluten, apples, or oranges, or anything offered at all. When I asked if they had anything at all that was gluten free, or a banana (only fruit I can eat) I was looked at funny and told no.. So I starved while my family enjoyed breakfast.
They lie about the price take money out randomly have illegal immigrant workers who whistle at my gf They better hope they have green cards and ppermits for the terrible work they are doing ... horrible place ignorant staff unsafe pool area house keeping came once in 4 days and nights
