The place was amazing eye candy. The gardens and water features are so beautiful. We had a great time walking around throughout the place. The headboard on one of the beds had a few places where the vinyl had peeled off. There was no liner for our ice bucket and underneath the bucket was a hair tie, which leads me to think, the room wasn't cleaned properly. Also didn't like the hidden servic fees tagged on to our bill which where explained as, "that pays for the complimentary wifi, 2 bottled water" and what would seem to be our privilege of walking around and looking at the hotel.
I booked this 2 days prior to a training at the hotel and it turned out to be the most spectacular room. I am going back with my family. It's a truly unique and magnificent experience. The type of room I had was huge with a Murphy bed and electric fireplace along with a dining room table for six and living room. The private double balcony overlooked the cascades. For a business training it was expensive even with a great rate the extra respect fees like parking are high but the resort was beautiful. I had problems with my in room coffee maker and they delivered a new one.
People are nice The room was tiny for the price Poor directions and signage
Lots of amenities but all prices were raised to an extreme also had reserved a king bedroom many months prior and was told on arrival that they were all booked suddenly so had to spend and extra 110 each night for an upgraded room
After staying a night in a room without a tub, they were willing to switch rooms for us to a room with a tub. The first king room we stayed in didn't have a tub or a microwave. The shower had the hair from whoever stayed there last on the floor which was disgusting. The night before we stayed at a comfort inn for more than half the price to save money and that room was actually much nicer than the Gaylord. Wish I would've just saved the money and stayed at the comfort inn and driven in to the Gaylord to walk around it for a couple hours. Also having to paying $26 a night in parking per vehicle is ridiculous and another way they squeeze you for every fume they can.
We had excellent service in one of the restaurants. Also, the Christmas decorations were beautiful. It was raining and you couldn't pull up to the overhead shelter to unload your car. They made you park (an obscene $24.00 per day to park) and unload your car and walk to the entrance. They had shut down one of the check in stations just before we arrived, consequently we were probably 50th in line to check in. We arrived around 5:30 p.m. The line was even longer an hour later. Directions to our room (the place is huge) were very confusing and the elevator to our room was out of order. We took the stairs. Also, one of the escalators was out of order as well. Only two pillows per bed. We stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the next night. Four pillows per bed. Smaller room but more comfortable and much less expensive. Will not go back.
Parlor room does not include a bed. Just a pull out couch. Shower temps tyre was either freezing or scalding. The smell of whatever cleaner they use was overwhelming. Also charge a $20 mandatory resort fee.
The hotel is beautiful and has lots of ammenities. Way too many kids unsupervised. Kids throwing shows off balconies and jumping in and out of the hot tub.
Setting, and scenario was very soothing. Ample check in staff so lines moved fairly fast Overpriced rate of hotel + all eating establishments within. MIght as well join up with Disney on pricing models. Resort fee was add-on that doesn't rate for the 2 bottles of water on day one, and internet service hookup. $40 for 2 days, plus I guess holding our bags for 3 hours pre-airport run. Uber your ride to Airport you'll save 100% of their shuttle.
The room was nice, clean and comfortable. It was nice to walk around all the property and see all the plants, flowers and shops. We enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool in the evenings. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did not like that we had to walk so far to get to our room. We parked in self park. There was not anywhere close to drive up our car and unload. We had to bring our luggage from the parking lot to our room which was a very long walk. Every time we left, we had that long walk to our car and then back to the room. I would have been lost and not able to find my way most of the time if my husband, who has a great since of direction, had not been with me.
I did like the beauty of the place. Too overpriced for the hotel. The price is ridiculous. Will not be staying here again. I will get a much nicer hotel for the money the next visit to Nashville. Everything is so spread out and I did not get a chance to even walk to the Grand Ole Opry. Room service for 2 people was around $80. I had men's beard clippings in the bathroom. I have stayed in better resort hotels. This 2 day stay cost over $1000!!! Not at all worth the cost.
good moring free breakfast kept spraying room deodorizer in room..asked desk to tell house keeping not to use spray in room...poor results..still used spray..on third nite night clerk moved us up stairs to a room that was not sprayed.. I believe that room deodorizer was to cover up the smell of bug killer..did see roach on T.V. cabinet
The hotel staff was very friendly and the location was very convenient to the highway. The breakfast was very good each morning and the price point was excellent! A great deal!! Although it looked like some updating and surface remodeling has been done there were some rusty spots near the ac and in the bathroom it from humidity or condensation.
The staff was awesome, they were as nice and helpful as possible. It could be cleaner, (disguised with dark colors and decorations).
The rooms were up-scale, lovely bedding, and a very comfy bed. The Staff were friendly and helpful. Full breakfast was complimentary along with an evening "happy hour" including food and cocktails! Also, free shuttle to Airport and into town. As of 3/17/17 the Spa was under repair/reconstruction, so that was not in use.
Was not as "fancy" as I thought it would be for the price & compared to the photos.
The location was nice close to where I needed to be. There was at least one nice staff member I seen while I was there always had a smile on her face very friendly. I believe she worked the night shift. The floor was filthy turned the bottoms of my feet black the shower area had a stuffy mildew smell. The pool hours could of been longer. The room was dark and the a/c didn't cool the room down much.
I like that snacks were served in the evening as well as breakfast, the food was good I liked having a small living room in the king bed suite, worked out well to have friends who were staying up the hall hang out in our room clean rooms, liked the lay outs of the king bed suites black out curtains could have been better (able to close all the way) freeway traffic was sort of noisey
Close to airport. Hotel located in cell phone dead zone. Wifi was weak on the back side of hotel. No help from staff. No restaurants nearby for food.
Comfortable bed excellent full breakfast minor technical and maintenance problems noted no DVD player
Breakfast buffet was awesome Rooms need improvement
Friendly staff and loved the weekday happy hour!
Breakfast bar in morning was great, rooms were nice. There was very loud noise coming from above our rooms (even could hear in hallway) that couldn't sleep through, but when told front desk was very dismissive saying was highway traffic. No, it was the plumbing from above us we figured out because every time someone above would flush the pipes went crazy. So no sleep for us =( Also our fridge didn't work.

We had a problem with a failing compressor on the refrigerator that was making loud noises and when it couldn't be fixed right away they upgraded us to a nicer room. The pool was really fun with a poolside basketball hoop.
The hotel room was perfect. It had everything you needed. Loved having the washer and dryer. Very clean. Landscape was very nice. Staff was not very friendly.
Location, quiet, great bed, nice laundry in-suite. Needed a small amount of maintenance.
Would like to stay again
It's location was very close to the Opry which is where all of the activities we were attending were being held. Very convenient and easy to access. Extremely noisy, horrible parking availability and not very clean. Dust was on all of the wood surfaces when we checked in, the air vents were furry because of the dust on them and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling.

This hotel was fantastic. Very friendly staff, lots of activities for the family, perfectly located to great attractions. The shuttle to downtown was not only convenient but so easy to use. Great place!!!
Everything! The employees were so nice and welcoming. I interacted with a manager that I believe, and he was so fun and made me even more excited for our stay! The only thing I could say is I tried to call twice for separate issues ans questions before we had left and left messages and no one answered or returned my call.
Liked having a kitchen and small living room We were harassed about going to a timeshare meeting. She would hardly take no for an answer. They called the room everyday trying to get us to go even though we said we were not interested. If it wasn't for the push on the timeshare liked the facilities.
The staff was wonderful. Rooms big and comfortable. I would stay there again.
Generally, it was comfortable, convenient and moderately priced. Breakfast was OK. The staff that was supposed to clean the room etc, did not do so 3X and once they started knocking on the door at 8:30 am to clean the room. They apparently don't understand that the hanging card on the door has 2 sides which tell them whether to clean the room or if the guest wants privacy. Desk staff said they did not clean rooms July 4 because staff "worked 1/2 day on the 4th."I tried calling the front desk on 3 different days. They never answered the phone.
Very convenient, nice breakfast, room in good condition.
The room was great and beautiful. Old location to the Nashville night life The two staff members who "greeted" me were ridiculous. It was a man and woman at the front who were eye rolling at guests, being short and sighing at requests. Coming from a hospitality background it blew my mind. However I believe I saw the manager the next morning in the breakfast area and he was very nice and attentive to his guests.
Hotel was clean, fresh, with good space in the suites. Breakfast was okay, not excellent. Wi-fi was a little slower than I expected. But overall we were pleased with the stay
Close to Opry mill mall, grand ole Opry and all Nashville attractions
The room was nice, it had plenty of power outlets, a nice TV, a safe for your valuables, good water pressure, and the room was very clean. From day 1 I had to deal with noises from renovations going on right outside my door. This was slightly annoying but I could have looked past it were it not for the other issues that occurred the same weekend of my trip. The second day the water heaters all broke and I couldn't get hot water in my room until past noon. The third day the power went out for half of the morning. Overall a very frustrating stay.
I went up on business, was very surprised on the cleanliness of the hotel, as well as ease of access to the interstate and closeness to the grand ole opry it was very pleasant overall experience. The shuttle to downtown only takes cash and its $10 a person. It would be nice if they included the shuttle in the hotel stay.
staff was very helpful
How close it was located to Opry Mills mall. Very Clean TV was a very nice 46" LCD LG Breakfast was mediocre Fitness center was really small
Location Our online checkin was fine. But we requested one bed on high floor. Placed in a room with double beds and 4th floor. There were no pictures on wall, dresser had 2 drawers that you could see in( open), no couch or chairs, no bedspread, mattress was lumpy and slanted downward toward headboard, and room was cold when we arrived. We asked about this, desk clerk said they were renovating. We were not aware of this and could not cancel reservation. We were ready to leave and lose our money. Will never stay here again or recommend this hotel.
When requested to have two pair of slacks cleaned, the staff mentioned they were forced to offer cleaning by the Best Western hotel chain, but they had to add $50.00 to each item, due to incoinvienece. Why offer it in the first place.
All in Complimentry Benefits. We booked for two nights and enjoyed our nights and had planned to be in the area for 7 days. We inquired to stay an additional 5 nights and the rates available were up about 25% higher. We ended up booking somwhere else for 5 nights right next door. Still highly recommend staying at hotel if you are haapy with price.
Staff was great, very friendly, Jon was the best. Food was good and the drinks are always nice. Beds were very uncomfortable for me, way to soft and sunk in. Bathroom door doesn't lock refrigerator was tiny compared to other hotels of this kind I have stayed in. At over $200 a night I expected better.
Close to the mall. Over priced and charged $50.00 extra at check in. Days Inn was cleaner and 1/2 the price.Would not stay here again.
Very nice staff, great rooms. Room never cleaned on second day. Left room at 1100, returned at 1500 to find it wasn't cleaned, returned again at 1800 to again find it wasn't cleaned and reported it to front desk twice, returned at 2300 and found it was never cleaned. Communication between front desk and driver of free shuttle bus was poor - waited 45 minutes for pickup after being told 3 times driver would be there within 5 minutes.
The breakfast was excellent. The shuttle was great.
Very very clean. Seems fairly new. Staff was excellent but for the desk person who sent our wake up call to the wrong room. Bad for us and bad for the people who got a 3:30am call. Gym needs a bit more. Breakfast just a half step above what is served at motels. Felt like I paid a bit more than what I got.
The front where you check in was very nice the room smelled like mold and the refrigerator didn't work, when we had paid extra for a room to have one
I loved the amenities and the free wifi and breakfast was great. Every staff member was so courteous and said good morning and hello to me. Even the contractors that were there doing additions (that day) said hello and greeted me. I was really surpised about that and so refreshing to see. There was NOTHING about this hotel that I disliked. Highest marks all the way around.
A nice clean hotel with quick to the point service. Very comfortable with a convenient location.
Bed was comfortable Paid for a king bed, received a double instead. Staff did not care, and was not helpful. Elevator was the slowest I've ever been on. Maintenance crew was working, loudly, very early in the morning. Very disrespectful. Will not stay there again.
For my short stay it was really comfortable and I would definitely recommend it to someone else.
The beds were extremely comfortable, the place was clean and towels were soft. Breakfast was very good and had so many options. Staff was so friendly and the room doors all faced into the lobby which was cool and helped everyone not to be noisy during the night. The carpet was kind of weird feeling and dewy. I also wish breakfast was an hour longer.
Staff was super nice and helpful. Very comfortable beds. Quiet. New facilities. Great value for money. Comforter was dirty with blood stains. Was changed immediately after informing the staff. Breakfast was horrible and coffee came from a machine not freshly brewed. Small bathrooms.
Comfortable bedding, cleanliness, friendly staff. Limited selections at breakfast...your basic hotel options.
Not far from attractions and downtown, hotel Staff and facilities were AWESOME!!!! Great place to stay...
The staff was so nice and professional. Nice breakfast. Nice rooms. Great value.
Location and staff Mattresses and or box springs were worn out. Not the most comfortable, and they were noisy. But we were still pleased enough that we would return.
Clean, friendly, great Hot Breakfast In-door Pool too cold to swim...
The room was very clean & the beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The continental breakfast was ok & it was easier and quicker to use Uber than the shuttle that went downtown.
Attended an educational conference. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They let me check in a 8 am when my plane arrived--that was so kind and accommodating!
very close to convention hall, front desk people very helpful and nice. no
Breakfast and decent workout room if small Starting to show wear and tear carpets didn't look dry clean in rooms
Went to Nashville for first time to meet up with extended family. We traveled with 3 young kids. This hotel was great! Full kitchen was perfect to store food, milk, snacks for kids. We loved the full breakfast every morning. And 1 bedroom suite was perfect, room enough for all of us. Parking got pretty crowded. Wish they had family parking spaces close, so we didn't have to lug all kids and kids' stuff from the back 40.
when i walked into the room it was more then i saw in the pictures and very impressed with what i got for the money i had to leave early and the did offer a breakfast but only set hours and i was not able to get any before my trip. Plus i am in the military and they didn't offer a military discount showing us men and women who serve our country they appreciate what we do
Very clean, and staff was excellent. Great location to downtown, about a 5-10 minut drive depending on traffic. Nice part of town. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel was convenient to city events and economical for location.
The beds were comfortable and the room was very good size. The room was very clean as well. double beds need to be queen beds, the tv's need to be upgraded to flat screens and the shower was terrible.
the front desk staff was awesome. extremely friendly
The hot breakfast was the best every morning. Good location to the things we wanted to do. The people working there was very nice and helpful. I wish the beds were more comfortable.
nice room. great deal with booking.com hotel great. breakfast area dirt.
We loved the morning breakfast.. a full hot breakfast and 24 hr coffee. The hotel and rooms very very clean with excellent service. We complimented staff throughout our stay. The Hampton Inn at Opryland was better than a lot of resorts I have stayed at. The cleaning staff are very good! As we checked out, we gave a raving compliment on the hotel. To our surprize, the clerk would not even make eye contact, or say thank you; and she was not on the phone or computer. I felt bad, and wondered if we had done something to offend them. this is all I can think of... I was there with my 2 daughters and a friend; we were not loud or out of line. We were there through a tour co. for the CMA fest and didnt get our package delivered to the hotel right away? or maybe we needed to ask for it, and it was already there. so after a day out, I inquired about it 10 hrs later, (like 6pm) the young girl at the desk didn't know about the packages. She said she would find out right away and call me back asap if she found them. An hr later, no response, so I called the travel co., and that's when I found out the CMA pkg. had been dropped off at 10 am that day, but to be sure and call back if the tickets were not there for some reason. I went to the desk within a 1/2 hr. One young person was there sitting up on the desk. ( as kids will sit on counters) he did go to the back and came out with our package right away. all was well! I think sometimes it's the age of the workers, and not much experience with their jobs, so I did not think bad of the hotel at all! And it was my first time doing all this, so I was not experienced. all in all, we truly loved our stay there at the Hampton, it was a cut above, and want to go back.
Loved having the kitchen. We were really lucky and the grill was right outside our door also.
Everything was great, need a little more parking on the weekends but we had a great time.
It makes you feel at home The TV didn't show good
It was very roomy and they try to think of what guests will need. I asked for a baby gate and she told me if they didn't have one they would get one for me and one was brought right away. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient The toilet overflowed on the first flush and my computer couldn't hook up to the internet. They sent the engineer guy right away, but he was very unfriendly and seemed bothered.
The room was large and it had a kitchen The bed was small and there was no iron or ironing board provided in the room

the staff the fact that my roomom wasn't available until 2 hours after check in time
Friendly, helpful service..The maid was quick and efficient. Breakfast was good. enjoy the pool and the grilling area. will definitely make reservations again
This hotel was excellent! Easy access to Nissan Stadium, airport and opryland. The staff were all very nice and friendly. Long term resident has pit bull dogs and they were not on leash. We complained to the clerk and they said they were aware. I have small dogs and was a little afraid we would run into them, but we did not see them again.

Location Breakfast was less than desirable.
very very comfortable bed the room was in like new condition and had amazing shower pressure not often i take 45 minute showers but i loved it the beds are super comfy and the pillows have structure they are not flat pancakes this location shows what the Hampton brand really is an affordable luxury hotel other than the floor protection being left in the elevator after the construction workers left (inital apperance was oh goodness the elevator linoleum is peeling up really bad) nothing really bad to say about the location
Staff was friendly and helpful. We got a room for only several hours because our plane was coming in at 4:00 a.m. and we couldn't get into our next hotel until 3:00 p.m. We were put on the first floor and could hear conversations at the front desk as well as all the guests coming in and out of the hotel and up and down the hallway. We have stayed at Hampton's before and have always been pleased but since we got no sleep, we would have been better off sleeping at the airport until our rental car agency was open. This would have also saved us a couple of hundred dollars.
Staff was incredibly warm and friendly. Airport shuttle was very convenient
Great service and perfect location Elevators are in dire need of maintenance , had a couple of scares , decided towards the end of my stay to take stairs even thought I was in the 7th floor
Continental breakfast Showers Pillows Humidity in room No bathroom ventilation fan
Very friendly atmosphere, all the staff made us feel really welcome, the Hotel is a bit "old Style" but very clean and well managed
The staff was very friendly and the check-in was easy and trouble-free. The hotel was very close to the airport and close to several restaurants. The room was clean, attractive and quiet. n/a
Very clean close to grand ole opry in walking distance No every one was real nice all Nashville very clean town no homeless no drinks on street just goof ole country people
Very modern, comfortable clean rooms and great location.
Staff was very professional and knew what they were doing. Quick check in and out. You couldn't walk anywhere
Proximity to event!
The hotel was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the shower had good strong water pressure. The staff were generally very kind and helpful. Only negative thing -my daughter left a favorite tshirt, when we went back, it was gone. When asked, the cleaning crew & manager, who had 'just' cleaned the room, said they saw nothing. Would have preferred to dig them from trash then be lied to.
Fantastic location, excellent staff, shuttle to local attractions No
Indoor pool The bathroom had other people's hair all over the floor and shower. For the price they should have a Continental breakfast.
The staff were absolutely amazing!
Location Staff did not know how to check us in, key would not work in our door, air conditioner units was beneath our window needed repaired, could not sleep because of the racket they made all night long.
Everything. It was great. Fantastic staff. Very clean. Wonderful accommodations. Walking distance to the Grand Ole Opry and Opryland. Very safe. The pool was a little chilly for the kids, but they did not seem to mind and it was clean so I am happy about that.
Convenient to area attractions. The food in the Bistro was very good. The bed was comfortable. For the internet price I got, it was ok. If I would have had to pay full price, not worth it. A bit run down. Carpet stained. Sheets very thin, small tear in the bedsheet. There was supposed to be a small refrigerator in the room, but there was not. My button on the phone to call the Front desk did not work. I was there three nights, never fixed.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating! The hotel didn't offer a complimentary breakfast and the hotel was overpriced for what it offered.
The hotel was newer with all the standard features. Pocket doors in the bathroom are a bad idea. Pool is much colder than expected for a heated pool. They also over sold our suite we purchased, no compensation for the mistake.
Home2 was a great hotel super close to airport but couldn't hear planes. Staff was super friendly and nice , rooms were very clean and we'll stocked ,I got a suite and it was a lot bigger than I expected, overall a great stay Only issue I had was there must have been a junior hockey tournament the weekend I stayed ,kids were everywhere and extremely loud and running up and down the hallways, but that's not the hotels fault it's the parents.
The breakfast was very good, lots of choices, but not open long enough, especially on the weekend. The hotel was comfortable. One staff member did not have any change at the front desk so went to his car to get his own quarters to break dollar bills for me. That was nice of him. The rooms were spacious, well organized, and laid out well. The housekeeping staff was not good. One day they never showed up even though I asked them to clean the room and let them know when I left so they could get into the room. Once I returned, no one was on staff to clean the room. The other days the staff just did not clean well. Left trash on the floor, did not take dirty linens. Never refilled my empty tissues or toilet paper until I asked for replacements. Also, one day there was an employee parked in a handicapped parking place all day with no signs of being handicapped nor did he have handicapped plates or placard. On the next day the hotel van was parked in a handicapped space all morning. There is only 4 handicapped spaces at this hotel. This should never happen. Not good water pressure in the shower. Sliding doors in bathroom were difficult to use.
It was a new facility so everything was shiny and new. The lobby/lounge area was very open, airy and inviting. This is a great place for families with a great pool, walking trails, outdoor grills and picnic area. It was nice but not impressive for the money. The bed and sofa both were very uncomfortable. It was supposed to be a suite but it was the size of a regular room and they had some sort of curtain that was supposed to divide the sleeping area from the rest of the room.
Hotel was very modern and clean. Breakfast hours were very short (6-9) and choices were limited. One of the cabinets was broken in the room. No maid service on the weekend without special request. Shower water pressure was almost non-existent. Overall, I was just not that impressed. I understand the hotel was green but it only seemed to be green as a mechanism for cost savings.
Had to change rooms immediately after check-in due to flowery smell in assigned room. I have allergic reactions to heavy smells as does my sister............they did accommodate us and the next room was less smelly. would not stay here again...expensive for what you get...... only positive was the grill restaurant...serves a fabulous corn chowder.
I liked the atrium area I did not like the noise, rude staff, bad bed, small bathroom, etc.
All the staff were super nice. I can't remember the ladies name from check-in but I remember her tag said she was from Louisiana, she was super kind and explained everything very well.
The location The staff was very friendly and helpful No refrigerator in room
Not much Indoor pool was beautiful but created excessive humidity which damped the sheets in our room. We had to request a different room because the first one had two double sized beds; this is not big enough for my husband and I to sleep in the same bed and we are not teenagers on a church youth group trip so we would like to be able to sleep in the same bed, of course! The room had an overwhelming smell of air freshener (which if it were actually clean, it wouldn't have needed). The comforter on the bed was white and crudely patched with a black poorly sewn patch right at the head of the bed. The restaurant was nothing special, neither the food nor atmosphere. The location was terrible! 15-20 minute Uber ride from downtown and not even walking distance from the The Grand Ole Opry. The amount we spent in Uber rides would have more than made up for high cost of staying at Opryland. We were very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel.
Beautiful place to stay No real night life
Beds were comfortable. There was a funky smell in our room, but everything looked clean. There were kids running and yelling outside our room at 7:00 AM, so that woke us up. The price was a little much for what we got. We paid $134 and it didn't even include breakfast. Only spoke to the staff at check in and check out. They did their job, but weren't overly friendly or helpful. No room to move or get dressed in the small bathroom. Definitely wasn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but it didn't stand out for any reason.
Location feel safe here. A lot of homeless, feeling unsafe here. Aggressive homeless asking for money. Don't really care for the city unless you just want to get drunk. Far from the city. Homeless everywhere and aggressively asking for money.
Very easy to access the Opryland hotel, shopping, and food. Easy to get to from all roads, and certainly easy to find from the highway. The beds were way to soft. Is a personal thing really. Also I think that the outside facing rooms should not cost add much add the inside. You have less security, and for a family or group of unsuspecting guests that could be disastrous.
Clean. Beds were awesome. Obviously old motel but nice colors with renovation. My door was 75ft from street. Could hear traffic all night. Shades are old and stiff to operate.
Staff was helpful We checked into our room and immediately were hit with an intense smell of mold! We went to the front desk and they switched our room, the second room also smelled of mold. They switched us again and more mold! We checked out and were given a full refund. Staff was helpful but it's a shame they are working hard for a hotel that is unable to be occupied.
