The views and atmosphere is very authentic to the culture Room service took over an hour
The staff was incredible, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. Beautiful rooms and views and perfect location. My only complaint was that there is no deadbolt lock on the inside of the room. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
location is the best.
I recently stayed at FER Hotel with my husband and adult son. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and had great variety. The location was also convenient to many historical sights. I would recommend this hotel without hesitations and give it thumbs up.
The location and view were very good The only luxurious aspect of the hotel are the room prices. Given the price we were expecting something better than old furniture, staff that would not make the room in the afternoon and soap/shampoo coming from an dispenser attached to a wall. The worst was the minimalist breakfast supposed to last until 10:30 but which is almost empty at 9:30 and with staff starting to dispose of it at 10:15. Hotel does indeed have a gym, massage and jacuzzi, but you have to pay just for "general facilities access", and again for the activity you choose. We don't recommend this hotel, there are many better ones with same location advantage!
A very nice hotel in a perfect location.
Rooms not very spacious but quite clean and well-maintained. Comfort is ok, but not exceptional. Furnishing and decoration need update. Breakfeast buffet might be a bit more refined. Overall, acceptable value for money but there are better options available. The view is magnificent on the 6/7 th floor.
Most amazing view of the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque from my room.
staff were excellent internet connection was subject to problems
The staff is very friendly and helpful, the view excellent (you can see from your window all the city, Agyasofia and Blue Mosque) and the tramway station very close to the hotel. I ll return to this hotel if I ever visit again Istanbul. The fact that the elevetor comes up to the 7th floor, and you have to walk some stairs to go to the roof garden which is on the 8th floor.
good view The airconditioner is not working at the hotel .I adviced this hotel to my professor scientist colleguaeas .One them recently visited May 30 2010 from Taiepei and he told me that the airconditioner is not working Only fan is working . at that time I warned the hotel service . then for the SSIEM meeting I stayed and 3 of my other collegueas booked and stayed one from Belgium and the others two from UK and we had still the same problem air conditioner was NOT working I complained about this to hotel service and they told me that they can not do anything for that. It is not good for hotel that has a very nice location . I am sure , you will have more pressure on this air conditioner fixing or having a new system there Thank you
Very convenient position for visiting the old town and the local attractions The room was extremely hot as the air conditioning was ineffective, no air conditioning in the breakfast room, staff not particularly helpful.
pretty nice hotel, great location and view from the roof dining room breakfast could be better
Staff was efficient and courteous.....however the beds need definately improvement...the mattresses felt like they had been used by very heavy overweight people with a definate hole in the middle. We stayed in room 401 which sizewise was ok but had very few hangers for hanging clothes. New mattresses absolutely necessary... they should also provide a little more light in the corridors of the hotel... it was almost pitch dark and one had difficulties to insert card to open room doors.
Perfect location, good atmosphere, very nice views,
The room, view, amenities, and location were great; The one major issue was the staff - one of the desk clerks continued to harass my wife, asking for photos, and also to go on a date. It made the stay quite uncomfortable .. I would not expect this from a three star hotel!
The personnel and their extra mile dedicated to provide the best they can, the owner Ali is committed and ready to all suggestion and recommendations from all the guests, I pointed out small things and he ordered the adjustments with the blink of an eye, great management, recommendations to Mourad, Ismael, Shivan and Serhan, thank you guys; you're great.
Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms Nothing
modern and new look. spacious and well furnished rooms. central location
Sorry it was bad
Location. Nice amenities. 3 star at best. Dark rooms, dogs welcome you at front door. Taxi can't easily get in because it's a very busy and crowded street
1. Excellent decor and interiors. 2. Very helpful and friendly staff. The Guest Relations Manager at the reception (A lady) helped get us a very nice room. 3. Bellboy, was very courteous & helpful.4. Great hammam experience at the Spa. Breakfast was just about okay, but nowhere near the standards of the overall hotel.
Excellent location, very closed to metro.Excellent breakfast, good restaurant.Room and bed linen clean.Free drinking water. worn carpet
The hotel's staff was truly exceptional. Words cannot do justice to the unique treatment I received at Sura. I felt more like family than a guest, and I would go out of my way to stay here again. Thank you for creating such a great team! Awesome location!
The hotel is very good located and is very quiet. Nothing
Beautiful view from restaurant over the sea and Sultan Ahmed area. hotel staff is very friendly and helpful
Location, staff were very kind The room was very small and very warm (the window gives on a sealed courtyard, so no fresh air). The air conditioning only emits hot air
Excellent location near main heritage sites Nothing. It was exactly what I was hoping for.
Excellent location for city trip.
Friendly staff, clean quiet hotel at a very good location. Rather small 3 person room, internet slow and one computer often in use
Clean modern renovation, very quiet rooms, friendly staff. Some rooms have no outside windows, just a small window looking into the stairwell.
the hotel was so close the the Blue Mosque and Sophia, and walking distance to the Grand Palace and the Bosforus (?) very clean and comfortable with a fabulous roof terrace.
The location was perfect for visiting the old town tourist area. The hotel was a very good standard and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The roof terrace bar had great views of the blue mosque and the sea. The restaurant was rather small for the numbers of people coming in for breakfast and you often had to wait for a table. There were no sea view rooms with double beds, these rooms had 2 single beds. We wanted double bed - hotel were happy to change this.
The people were very accommodating and exceptionally friendly. The place is clean and pleasant and even when the neighborhood had a couple of power outages, the hotel and staff adapted with its own generator. In sum, I liked the placed--great location, clean, and very friendly. I fully intend to use the place again when I return to Istanbul and recommend it highly, especially given its relatively cheap rates in a city where hotels are a bit more expensive that what one might initially think. Keep in mind this is not a ritzy 4 or 5 star while at the same time it is not a hostel...for a middle aged traveler a nice in-between 2 or 3. The only minor downside is that when calculating the final bill a poor exchange rate was used. Still, this was not major.
Nytt, rent og pent hotell meget sentralt plassert i den gamle bydelen i Istanbul. Meget vennlig og serviceinnsilt personale. Store pene rom, ingen støy. Gode senger.
