Overall, clean and comfortable. Too far from city center. It takes more than 45 mins to get to IST city center.
could not connect on the internet in the room
The Kaya Ramada is located 5 minuts walking distance from Tuyap exhibition centre. It is the only 4 start hotel in the area. The Tuyap exhition centre is 28 km from Ataturk airport and 40 km from Istanbul city. Some language skills can be improved.
quite close to the convention centre. the location is excellent. almost all the staff i tried speaking to did not know english, pathetic service response times.. would stay here only if i had to attend the exhibition in tuyap..
near Tuyap exhibition center very high prices comparing with the service !
Classical example of a big hotel chain, great if you have work near by, but not suitable for a quick visit at Istanbul. I wouldn't recommend using the internet service. Too expensive and far too slow...
Though far away from the centre of the city, the hotel is still accessible through taxi and bus. The rooms are overall, comfortable to retire after a day's long work, especially for business travellers. The hotel is not meant for guests who dont know English. TV channels are all in Turkish only, except for BBC and CNN. I was lost completely without world entertainment in English. The restaurants (esp. Sunrise) served a virtually unchanged menu for 8 straight days. Too predictable and boring.
No shuttle bus for airport no wi fi available
Good view, Nice room It is not in istanbul and about 30 km faraway. You should spend 1 hr and 100$ by taxi to Istanbul city center. Only near to the fair venue.
I liked the spa procedures that was free of charge, also the bed is comfortabile. The location is good in case you came at Tuyap Fair The receptionist was not very polite. We had to leave him 100Dollar in case we will use the bar from the room, he was affraid we will not pay. Dissapointing. The breakfast very poor. The bathroom not clean
It was convenient for my business trip, and location a few minutes from the beach was good. The area that the hotel is located is not a tourist destination and a little far from the beaten track (45km from Istanbul centre). The food and view from of the sea from the buffet on the 7th floor was good, although as this is not a tourist area, it was difficult to get food outside the hotel as English not widely spoken outside the hotel. The A la carte menu was a little disappointing (food did not match descriptions). The rooms and bathroom were good and clean, although noise could be heard from other rooms. Very few people could speak English. Internet coverage was a little limited.
hotel eser with 5 star...:-),but it is not realso.... there act are very very bad, with guest...with out respect,..sometimes u think u r in gail ,not hotel..they dont know what is smile..when usay something about the hotel..EX,my romm is not clean or ur act is bad, they want fight to u..inttesant...
My experience of this hotel is very nice it is nice location, spacious room and cleanliness was excellent.I am coming agian to istanbul withinn a month I will stay in the same hotel
Nice hotel, Good staff, but the breakfast was not at the level of the hotel
Nice Hotel, good breakfast Window/balcony door are locked. But on request they have opened, as it was very warm in the room and AC was only heating.
attend tuyap exhibition room service
If you have an exhibition to attend to at the Tuyap center, you should consider this hotel as an option. It's less than 10 minutes away by car or taxi plus it is located in an area where you can find restaurants, bars and shops in walking distance especially if it's summertime. The rooms are really spacious and very nice decorated. The only problem is the poor sound insulation since you can hear anything your neighbor does, so wish that you stay next to a quiet one.
Strolled along the sea shore, visited the spa at the hotel. Ate in the excellent restaurants in town. And the best part; relaxed... Breakfast was good!! Valva and honey comb, that was delicious!! And also spaghetti bolognaise, that was a bit odd... but good. Apparently the service in Turkey is a bit odd. In the sense that sometimes they seem to be neglectful or disrespectful.
