Hotel Capannelle

It was clean

It smelled bad, the hotel is old- it needs the renovation staff were not helpful (gave us wrong directions and refused to call a taxi at a specific time for us and didn’t prepare early breakfast) Breakfast was poor (food was cold, they didn’t replace food, it was no fresh fruit and vegetables) Room had damaged walls, furniture was old, windows were completely dirty, bathtub couldn’t hold water, the sink in the bathroom didn’t drain, it was no electric outlets next to the bed, the pillows were small and flat.

Undercover carpark, large rooms, handy shuttle. Some staff were very helpful, the pool helped to ease the discomfort, even it was quite expensive for such a basic facility, the balcony was a plus. Close to airports.

The breakfast was mediocre, the supervising staff were rude at times and sometimes we found the main dishes ran out, took ages to be restocked, the soft drinks were mainly sugar syrups self-served from a dispenser, coffee was just kind of ok, fruits were a few and not great at all, even there was plenty fruit in season. the other bar restaurant took hours to serve us some dishes which turned to be frozen pre-cooked meals, the decor is dating and the furniture in the rooms was ripped, thorned or chipped, the aircon controller was not working properly and the fridge in the room was piping hot!

Barmaid with blonde hair very friendly and good at her job .

Staff were not very friendly too laid back . Staff member hung up on us when we tried to book restaurant. Location was hard to find and staff were not good at describing the local transport or how to obtain tickets received a ticket from police because wasn't explained tickets were bought in newsagents .
