the location was very convenient to the airport and the 24 hours free shuttle was a huge help. front desk receptionist provided great customer service. the restaurant food was surprisingly good for a small hotel, great quality food. laundry room onsite was also a huge plus. our room was nice and comfortable. although our stay was a short one day, we really enjoyed the wyndham! quality of pool
Comfortable, clean and spacious. Friendly staff who were making an effort. I wish the continental breakfast stayed out a little longer! We came down at 10 and it was over. Also, maybe offer a slightly thinner pillow option? Too fluffy for this princess and the pea!
Staff was very helpful The room was clean and very spacious Ther was access to other venues without going outside The added costs, the water, the internet, etc.
The hotel was very quaint and kept much of it's rustic charm. It was clean and quiet. The staff were kind and courteous. I was disappointed that the only rooms that had WiFi access were on the gold floors. I was offered to upgrade to the gold floor for an additional $100. The receptionist failed to mention the price was per night. A nice little sticker shock. Also I find it odd that a hotel the caliber of the Palliser would not offer WiFi
Pool and steamroom Clean rooms dog friendly small rooms
its unfortunate that there is nothing to be liked in this so called 4star hotel. Typically I hate to complain but due to the experience, I feel I should provide my review. It was a five nights stay. Really slow slow shower. Bed linens, towels, sheets were not set well. There was a odor in the room. Coffee machine was not working. Power outlet was not working. TV channels were working intermittently and didnt even have the basic channels to view. Inspite of asking a few times to provide drinking water - there was no response from the staff. I wonder how do hotels like these get a 4 star rating. Internet, breakfast, TV channels are not part of the price.
This building has a beautiful old world feel atmosphere. Downtown Calgary feels like it has really died off with the current recession but you'd never notice once inside the hotel. Lots of happy and polite people everywhere. We will definatly return. We requested a newspaper in the morning but it didn't arrive for our two day stay.
The room was more spacious than expected, very clean and very comfortable. We were on the 11th floor, so it was very quiet. Loved the super fast elevators. The front door staff were very quick and keen. Check in and check out was a dream. You really beat my expectations.
Have always liked the Fairmont. Located close to shops and downtown entertainment. Bed was a little soft. Rates can be high for some of the rooms.
Very comfy beds. Friendly staff
Beautiful grand old hotel. Outstanding service and great location.
It was a very charming hotel with staff that helped me on several occasions - opening luggage lock, assisting me when I left my key in the room, finding places in the city, friendly in the lounge and dining room. Everything was completely satisfactory.
Prompt service, excellent food, great staff, great exercise facilities, great location Bathroom had unpleasant "sewer" like odour
Being downtown in Calgary, the convenience of the hotel, and the overall experience. I called in my request to have my car brought up 15 minutes before and did not have my car when I arrived nor did it appear that it was handled properly.
Design Food clean access to airport. Shuttle. All Personnel great ! Nothing
The room was amazing, loved the rooftop hottubs The food was not as good as the hotel looks. It gave me high standards. The restaurant was very nice looking, great atmosphere, but the food, though, decently priced was not as good as I expected. No pool, and no option for continental breakfast. There was a hall filled with food with no signs saying reserved so I thought it was continental.....turns out no it wasn't.
High tech, new, clean, very friendly staff. Close to airport and timely shuttle. A little of an odd location though manageable, no breakfast, must use coffee in room or pay $$.
First off the Staff are wonderful Second - Great atmosphere Third - Clean and Unique Room Fourth - Great little Pub/ Restaurant. Fifth - Awesome Roof Top Jaccuzzi. Music was just a tad loud in the morning in the restaurant during breakfast. Hard to really find anything dissatisfying about this joint!
The rooftop hot tubs,King sized bed, good service and cleanliness of this hotel make it great value for your money The onsite restaurant is expensive with little choice and small portions. There isn't much in the vicinity to do.
Swank hip ambiance, Beautiful room, cool bar/restaurant Lonely roof top hot tubs
Hot tub on roof, good little fitness center, good breakfast, cool room, shower and a tv in a bathroom. Friendly staff.
Groovy rooms and hot Tonic restaurant. Hot tubs on the roof, how cool! Upgraded to the Applause suites, awesome!
Hotel was very bright, clean and modern. The room had nice features that felt really high end.. Window in room had great view of aircraft gates. Very quiet building despite close proximity to YYC terminal. Lots of free parking available. Front desk staff members were friendly and welcoming. We had a very positive experience and would highly recommend Hotel Clique.
The hotel itself is nice and very clean. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The rooms were turned into min smoking rooms and the was still a lingering smell of smoke. The food at the restaurant was not good at all it did not match the level of the hotel.
Rooms could have been cleaner. Our room smelled like cigerette smoke.
Clean and just nothing to complain about... room was spacious. Nothing.
Excellent staff, clean, friendly, exceeded my expectations for service.
The staff was very helpful. All questions were answered promptly. Thanks.
The staff we wonderful. Helpful and kind. I had a great stay. Comfy clean beds. The higher you go the better the view. Ask for riverside at check in. Great downtown hotel. Walking distance to awesome restaurants and music venues. I really really love this hotel.
Comfy, roomy barroom. The room was large too which was nice. Upon check in, the front desk asked if we were interested in having the breakfast option. I declined thinking my family would be interested in going elsewhere. Not even 10 minutes later when I asked to change my rate to the breakfast option, the gentlemen at the front desk said that it was too late as we are already in house. I found that lousy customer service. I could have pushed it to the manager to see if they can but after a long day of travel I didn't have the patience to bother. They could've asked their manager for me. It was very annoying.
Comfort Bar felt least inviting
The reception was fantastic. The mattress was uncomfortable.
We had some time to kill before a wedding dinner and hung out at your lounge. The server was pleasant and gave prompt service. We did not like the fact that an additional $17 was added to our bill for parking. That should be free for guests or at least hide it in your rates so that customers think its free.
Good location. Comfortable room.
The staff is very friendly.
The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel is conviently located downtown. The staff is very friendly. The restaurants in the area were good too!
Pricey food and drinks
The proximity to the business and shopping that I needed to do. The restaurant for lunch was expensive and not particularly good. The caesar salad was not fresh or presented well. The pizza was dry and tough Coffee in a mug at $3.50 was bitter. I would not use the restaurant again.
staff and room
Suite had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good facilities, free DVD hire, pool etc. Breakfast was OK, nothing special but is acceptable with the usual buffet spread. The location is close to the airport and is within a built up commercial area but has shops and restaurants a short drive away. Train service into downtown Calgary 10 minutes walk away. We picked this hotel for the quality of the suites and the facilities not the location and it met our expectations.
I loved the spaciousness of the room, the decor, having a kitchen, the popcorn, the chaise, internet access and breakfast.
It is clean and the rooms are nice. Had our truck stolen out of the parking lot right in front of the door. It was locked. Manager mentioned she saw some teenagers hanging out in parking lot late but did not check into what they were doing. Never received a sorry or what can we do to make your stay any better. Nothing. Was not looking for any freebies. Just some care or concern. This hotel has no outside video surveillance. Would not recommend to anyone. There are better and more secure hotels available.
I loved the convenience of the hotel in proximity to the Calgary Airport. The shuttle service was prompt and the 2 different drivers that did the chauffering were so very nice. The front staff were very nice and were informative as to what was available to me and where. I have to admit that I could not take advantage of what the hotel offered or what Calgary had to offer as I was only there for 1 night and had to catch a plane early in the morning. So, my encounters were limited, but very nice. I appreciate everyone's efforts to make me feel welcom and comfortable.
All suite hotel. Clean, good staff, good resturant close by, close to the airport - good for the business traveller. Front desk under staffed - checkout takes longer than it should if there are more than a few customers.
The bed was very uncomfortable - it sags badly - even for someone without a damaged back - tried the pull out sofa and that was no better, so ended up sleeping on the floor -(I do have a bad back and need a matress that is fairly firm- we consider your price high in view of this poor bed -
very pleasant stay, excellent breakfast!
Very nice and big room, well equipped kitchen, big bathroom, cheap guest laundry, free parking fitness room was really small
I and my two other traveling companions had been driving all day. What a pleasure it was to find a large, clean room, great staff and really everything we needed at that moment. Thank you for a great stay!
We stayed at the Lakeview on the first night of our holiday and the staff couldnyt have been more helpful, we were collected from the airport the room was lovely and large. The following morning they took us to collect our hire car at no additional charge. Breakfast was lovely. It was all lovely.
It was mine and my husbands wedding day and they upgraded our room, it was a great treat and very much appreciated. It helped make our day that much more special nothing
Excelent with family and children
The staff were very attentive and always had a smile ready.
The fact that everything was excellent
the room was great, the staff helpful, and the food was good i always say " you get what you pay for" and its true at the Sheraton. could find the Blow Dryer in the am, they said it is located in the drawer of the night table. Not a place to put it..
it's a suite so you have a mini kitchen where you can cook, microwave and tea/coffee facility. it;s like 2 rooms separated by many doors ! too many doors in the suite. no safe box, bed too high
Location, well equipped & comfortable pool was cold & sauna not working
Reception & concierge were friendly and informative.
The rooms are always spacious, clean and comfortable. The food is not fantastic. It is edible and probably fine for most people, but everything tastes like it is made from a bag. Nothing from scratch. Definitely not high quality, which I think it should be based on the price of the hotel and the fact that everything else is good to excellent quality.
Hospitality, cleanliness, comfort and location was excellent. Enjoyed the facility and highly recommend it to friends and family. Looking forward to our next stay. Had a little trouble using the valet parking because of the event on Saturday night and lack of space in front of the hotel and the number of guess coming and leaving at the same time
The central access to restaurants and entertainment Renovation construction noise
Comfortable, near the airport
conveniet for an overnight stay after a very late arrival rooms very small
The hotel was very well sound proofed, even though we were right at the airport - could not hear the planes.
Location and service pillows were uncomfortable
The Calgary airport Delta hotel are the best...5 hour extended checkout for free, free cookie and milk on arrival for kids, free breakfast despite being an hour late for the included breakfast and with 4 hours to wait for flight and our check in being at the opposite end of the airport they are meeting me at the check in area with all my luggage. That's what I call outstanding customer service!
Location: on airport site. We just need to cross the street to get to the airport. Very convinience.
Fast Check-in/Check-out. nice room. I like having an extra blanket for the bed available without having to bother the front desk. There's a chill in the air this time of year.
The staff were very helpful, arrived late at night for a layover and flight out the next day and they were friendly, courteous and professional. Being right in the airport they could get away with mediocre service just because of convenience, instead they were absolutely top notch ! Ron concierge/Bell hop helped us straight to our terminal one week earlier for the layover to our destination, and then again this time, and he remembered my family from the first time. As we went through the airport everyone knew him, from different airline desks to security, even the police outside, obviously he is friendly and helpful and makes an impression on the people he interacts with as he is sincerely friendly with every greeting and hello. Working in service this was wonderful to see, if I could I would hire 100 Ron's as he helped leave a lasting positive impression of our stay and your brand. Traveling with a small child is a challenge and at the end of the trip exhausting, but this short stay (and the one on our way a week earlier) really do make a different when you feel comfortable and are treated well. I will plan trips and if there needs to be a lay over, I would try to have it in Calgary knowing how great and restful the stay would be ! I never thought I would make travel plans based on hotels for layovers ! but this experience honestly was worth it
the porter took our luggage right to Westjet for us
Location at airport Noise of air-conditioning made it hard to sleep. Staff not interested when i reported the matter
Comfortable need, buffalo picture on the wall.
Location. Convenience for a business trip.
convenient location for events we were part of, excellent breakfast, good parking, great staff, excellent sound proofing (with landing large planes so close), ease of access to the hotel itself, no traffic hassles, relatively inexpensive. nothing
Clean room, comfortable bed and convenient shuttle from the airport
Close to the airport, shuttle bus easy to find, have stayed at the same chain before and have always been happy.Nice Hotel to spend first night after a long trip

We loved the location because we had a room that overlooked the airport runway and could see the planes coming and leaving. Would have been nice to have more comfortable chairs to sit on.

Staff very efficient and friendly. Breakfasts were fresh, filling and kitchen staff were very pleasant. Fitness and pool area very good. Room was very clean. Hotel is in a developing area. A car is required to get anywhere. Unaware that the facilities were shared with Homewood Suites- bar/lounge. Parkinglot restricted due to construction of new hotel.

Clean included breakfast and shuttle No
I didn't like the fact that on Saturday night at 10 pm it was almost impossible to find an open liquor store nearby. I had to drive around for 30-45 mins to find one. Other then that it was a grey experience
After I went to the wrong Hampton Inn, they were kind enough to call the shuttle to bring me to the correct location... also very kind when I left my laptop in the shuttle and they had to call it back to the hotel. Excellent service! No, everything was great.
starbucks is handy, doormen/valet were excellent. Place is very clean and staff were friendly. food at lounge qiuite pricey
The bathroom door it slides open and shut. Not very private
The staff gave me great information about the city and I have the best view of the city from 19th floor!!! Nothing
The hotel was attached to the venue for the convention I was attending so it was very convenient. Hotel staff was very accommodating, and location was withing walking distance to restaurants, shopping etc. I will stay there again when I am in Calgary.
Good central location The hotel in general and rooms specifically were very hot and very dry, I felt like I was going to get a node bleed and needed to go outside for relief - drank a lot of water and had to buy chapstick. They need to get some humidifiers to add moisture to the air.
friendly staff lack of hot water
We found the room service on request provided quick and helpful service The room did not have bath robes or a shower mat for the bath or floor,
No comment 1) The rate was very high as compared to other bitter hotels in the same location. 2) no breakfast 3) local call charge are high 4) international call charge was very expensive.
The location. How friendly the staff were. The cleanliness of the room. The view from our room wasn't very good. There was a constant humming/tapping sound coming from the vents that staff couldn't find or fix. The steam room was down for renovations.
Staff incredibly friendly and helpful cheese plate on room service menu said 'fresh fruit' and came w old bruised grapes too gross to eat.
Location Great breakfast Super clean Modern Pool and jacuzzi with great view Staff are very friendly but need better training, a couple of minor hiccups
Beautiful, clean rooms. Very polite and kind staff. No continental breakfast.
Clean, comfortable, affordable and right downtown close to everything
I liked the style of the remodelled bathroom, the windows and skylights of the pool, jacuzzi area on the roof, the security of needing a key to use the elevator, the sun reflection of the Westin on the foyer floor, starbucks in the hotel was great for morning treats. Pillows and bedding was very nice, especially with the dark drapes... you could really get a good sleep. the Fluid Lounge is poorly decorated and could use more colorful paint. Felt drab, like waiting in an airport lounge.
View Pay parking pay parking pay parking
Standard high, staff v good, location Parking too expensive
Location is fantastic. Was very disappointed with bathroom. After a long day of travel was looking forward to a nice bath. Only had a standup shower. Toilet was child sized. Parking was also outrageous. $30 for self park!
Great location for my purposes, rooms are basic, but the price is reasonable, and I wasn't expecting a resort at this price. Internet was good at all the times I used it, the pub is good, and the food was good. Parkade is under construction, rooms are dated, but clean. Continental breakfast could use more variety.
Staff was friendly Check in time is 4pm that seemed late. The pillows were very small and too firm. The beds weren't comfortable. The room was small I had to get beside the toilet to open the door.
Facilities to get Calgary Transit
proximity to the Big 4 building where we were attending the dog show. Close to restaurants. Able to access the P1 level from the garage and get my dogs to our room with ease. Room very comfortable
Love the location. 2 blocks away from the sky train, which was perfect for the reason for our stay - Calgary Comic Expo. Loved the customer service that the breakfast staff provided. Pretty sure the lady that serves us was still there from last year. She is the ONLY reason I gave 3 stars for staff! Front desk service SUCKED! There was a wedding booked at the same time as our stay. The room we were given was sub-par. The toilet leaked. We called down to the front desk and encountered resistance. Almost as if to say "so what do you want me to do about it?". Was informed that he would call back shortly, as he was busy. It took over an hour for the call back. Once front desk had determined that the leak was legit (half a trashcan full within an hour), he THEN switched us rooms, again to a sub-par room. No apology was given, infact, while the agent was figuring out which room to give, he complained about one of the other guests (they were asking how to get downstairs). While I totally understand that people get busy, stressed out or just plain have " had enough", there was absolutely NO reason to act this way towards someone that was also paying for a room. This was a return visit due to how well we were treated the first time. Unfortunately, based on THIS experience, we will be seeking an alternative hotel for our next Expo trip.
The front desk told me becoause of the book.com reservation I was able to use my credit card more easiliy for the on extra day cancellation. The lady that checked me out was giving me looks of disrespect, and was not very polite. Other than that the staff was good.
1. Very close location to the airport 2. Easy to find 3. Comfort bed 4. Easy access to wifi. 5. Nice Starbucks coffee inside the room 6. spacious room Minor, 1. a little bit difficult to find the entrance 2. Just one location of elevator compared to long corridor of both sides 3. very little feeling of noise from outside traffic
The staff went out of their way to make me and my son comfortable
Very nice hotel. Well equipped gym. Efficient shuttle to/from Calgary Airport.
We stayed on the club level and we were disappointed with the breakfast. We arrived at 9:30, and the fruit and juice were completely gone and by the time we had left the fruit had still not been replenished and the coffee was only then being refilled.
Great room, friendly staff. Delicious breakfast buffet.
Comfy bed Clean bathroom
Shuttle service was handy. Hotel is dated and basic
Close to stores
Good price, quiet hotel.
They call it an airport hotel but it's about a 20 minute drive from the airport. The bathroom was disgusting and came complete with stains and pubic hairs.
Close to the airport Lots of noise all night from neighbouring rooms. Dirty carpets and stained towels.
it was far cleaner this year than when I stayed there a year ago. It could use some updating. The facility is getting old and a little run down
Location The hotel was dirty The towels had more holes tjhan swiss cheese The staff at the front desk were very rude Non smoky room bad a very very strong smoke Oder
It was close to the airport. This hotel was one of the worst I've ever stayed in. They couldn't find our booking and the front desk associate was extremely unhelpful about it. The room was dirty, with ripped chairs, and stains on carpet and sheets. The bathroom was old and dingy. There was dirt in our bathroom sink and the entire room smelled. The next morning the breakfast wasn't out and no one on the staff seemed to care about anything. There was nothing goof about this hotel.
staff almost everything.
Bed was ok Outdated ..had a run down feeling. Old bathroom fixtures .old furniture. Only one face cloth ...cheap..Dirty old wondows .knobs on the A/C were gross. I'll never stay again .The lounge was not applealing at all.No staff till 5. It should give you a hey "lets stay for a drink " feel..Only upside was a shuttle was accomodating for my daughter to take her to the airport .
Nice shower Very run down
It is halfway between two destinations I need to visit when I am in Calgary. THe fitness room could be improved by adding some weights.
All of the staff are amazing! Very friendly. I like that you have water and coffee available in the lobby. Nice rooms. I do not like the pillows on the bed. They are way too thick. By the time my stay is over, my neck and back are out. There should be thinner pillows available. Someone who wants one thicker can always put two together. I cannot take one apart! This is a very important part of our stay.
In town for a wedding, we enjoyed getting together with family the next day at the brunch. No problem with the hotel.
I liked the porximity to the seminar room i gave a presnetation in in the hotel The price of the room was higher than I am used to paying in a similar facility
Room was decent nothing fancy. Food was awful. MOJAVE needs lessons in food flavoring. Dont claim to be a southwest style restaurant when your chef has no idea how to cook like the southwest.
