location in Jardim Air Condition to low
Modern hotel, in upmarket, safe, area of S.P. Twenty-plus floors with good gym and pool on the roof. Good facilities in room and balcony (only up to tenth floor). Powerful shower, comfy bed, good breakfast with short-order cook on eggs, waffles and pancakes. Plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. This could just be me, but I got more mossie bits in one night at the hotel than in the 10 previous days all round Sao Paulo and Rio states...despite my "jungle strength" spray! Beware!
Roof top swimming pool and view from roof top.
This is a modern, international hotel with english-speaking staff. Our room was spacious although the toilet/shower area was quite small. Breakfast was very good with superb fresh fruit and a mix of cold and hot meats etc. Staff were invariably helpful. We found that there wasn't enough storage space in the room. We were, however, in the hotel for 7 nights so we came with quite a lot to store.
Location, friendliness of local staff, ositive general atmosphere. There should be more brochures, magazines, books on tourism attractions and what to do in Sao Paulo. There were none available in rooms or lobby. Staff should be better informed of addresses (restaurants, coiffeurs, etc).
staff tried hard and location good pretty worn out. not 5 star facility as advertised.
Basic facilities, clean, location, friendliness of staff. Positive general atmosphere. Expensive internet service. No many informations about attractions and what to do in Sao Paulo.
They only have internet at 64K. If you want more bandwidht you have to pay R$30 per day for 512K.
Clean hotel with good facilities Expensive, with charges for everything. Local calls were very expensive. I was charged more than $50 for a few local phone calls. Most expensive I have seen across the globe.
location , room size , beds very confortable only the bathroom was very small .
Awesome view from Estaiada Bridge in São Paulo and location. Staff always kind. Recommended!
The fitnees center, restaurant and service.
Room with fair square footage and comfortable bed Room wasn't neat Bed poorly made Room had a rugged carpet Bad shampoo No golf channel
Outstanding location. Great stuff. Nice room. The wall paper should be changed
Excellent location, and very customer friendly staff. Breakfast was a bit poor for the price they charge.
The location near the centre of banking and commercial companies was excellent. Also it is only a short walk to a very large shopping complex, and nearby streets have a good range of restaurants. Large modern room. Very good buffet breakfast. Helpful staff.
Food, accommodations, and staff were excellent!
That hotel was good. The room was nice, and the sheets were so clean. The stuff was very kind. That place was not convenient to go to other spot. .
nothing to be mentioned the room is big but not nice. the localization is in a very busy area and the window's view isn't good. it's also noisy. it's too noisy to have the windows opened.
Good location. One person at the front desk to take care of all the guests.
service is good, the location is very conveninent
You have the best restaurant, with exceptional selection and quality.
Hotel is very good, new and well located.
We loved the bed and the shower. Breakfast was delicious.
Friendly staff. Good location. Good shower. Dirty carpets in the corridor and in the room. Also curtains were dirty.
Quality of the room, facilities, bed, cleanness Swimming pool
Very well located, excellent room (large, clean and comfortable), delicious breakfast and a superbly efficient and cordial staff. I strongly recommend.
The very high standard of service the hotel delivers When I arrived, the hotel was under overbooking, therefore I had to be transferred for another hotel, for the first night.
no wifi in the room. the cable internet was charged and very slow
to provide the rooms with wireless internet and increase the internet speed
At night the reception team is not so motivated and enthusiastic, but the girls during the day are fantastic.
The staff is very friendly and attentious. Very relaxing, with all the infra structure.
Room size was very comfortable; balkony is a plus
Very good location, comfortable hotel, price-quality outstanding, friendly staff Partially staff lacks on qualification
Comfortable Rooms, great breakfast, friendly staff nothing to complain about
People at the reception able to speak english, convenient for foreigners
in the night because of loud music i cannot sleep make your rooms atleast sound proof for one side
The hotel is comfortable for the price.
Good value/price. Confortable rooom and excelent breakfast. Clean and quite area,
Quartos amplos, cama grande.
It's location. Service was also good. The gym, spa and pool are deficient.
good business location, very helpfull staff, free parking, very clean rooms could be a little bigger, only shower - no bath tub
O quarto é muito bem bolado! Muitos espelhos.
they did not respect my booking.com fare because they said they colud not identify the reservation. they charged me R$65 above the guaranteed booking.com rate
Good size of room. Staff very friendly. Cheap internet access, free parking, good breakfast Location very noisy (windows not very well insulated), many little things have not been maintained or manded thus did not or only oartly work, were rusty, fell of etc. That reduced substancially the impression of the room/hotel
The fitness centre at the top floor provides a great view to Sao Paulo. Breakfast was ok. Providing free internet (although with slow speed) is a nice gesture too. The lobby is small and creates a very impersonal atmosphere.
The room was very bright and full of light. The fitness room at the rooftop was small yet well equipped and maintained. It featured fabulous view of the city. The stuff was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Answered all my needs, including some tough ones. For a 4 stars hotel it was dull on facilities and practically has no lobby.
location breakfast, room service
In the check in the stuff charge you without tell you what they doing...
It was a nice experience, had a fun & comfort of stay. Every thing is ok
Not sure really, I will not stay again that's for sure! I was in Sao Paulo on business and internet connection was down almost all the time. Booking.com advertised internet connection free of charge in public areas etc, but the connection was not working as it should. It caused a lot of stress and delays with my work, so will not stay or recommend this hotel to a business traveller for sure!!
Design; Location Hotel undergoing in renovation
Hotel room and amenities are nice. Anything extra is quite expensive, but then most 5 star hotels are that way, and Sao Paulo IS an expensive city. If you're there for business, it's well located, they have meeting rooms, and all services required.
no gym- they make you wait even if the hotel is empty if you want to check up before 12 or they offer you to check in and they charge an extra day. breakfast is not included , when in Brazil even a 1 star flat gives you breakfast. No gym.
Very well located, close to Avenida Nações Unidas, a backbone to cross São Paulo and access every region. The Estanplaza is a nice Hotel, with noise level incredibly low. Nice bedroom, nice King size bed. Nice living room. Loved the rotary TV table that can be used either at the living room or bedroom. At the check out moment, the cashier wanted to charge us an extra tax (like US$20) for my wife, as she was telling us the room rate was for a single person. I explained that I made reservations thru Booking.com and the rate I was paying was referring to 2-people. There was a rate for 3-people (my son was in Sao Paulo that night and he could stay there also) which I didn't use. The Booking.com rate only was accepted after I show to the cashier, my Booking.com printout. Everything was dealt with care and education, but having to show proof of my words annoyed me. In some way, communication between Booking.com and Estanplaza is not working.
Efficient service from all - check-in staff, porters, maintenance staff, etc.TV cable came lose, maintenance person in room within 3 minutes of call. Stupid, unfriendly lifts.
Very friendly people, I liked my stay
My stay was wonderful and I would recomed it to anybody looking to get away
The hotel is situated in a semi-residential area with a plethora of good neighborhood restaurants . The hotel is part of the Century Plaza complex that includes out door cafes, a convenient foreign exchange facility [good rate of exchange - better than the airport] and a couple of upscale restaurants. American Airlines counter in the lobby and taxi stand at the door. The 'fall shorts' 1) R$20/day charge for internet; and the hanging space [nee closet] too narrow for a hanging bag. Rooms are clean and well serviced. An enjoyable stay.
This by far is the best Staybridge i've ever been to. The staff, the location, the amenities. I travel to Sao Paulo on business 4 times a year and make it a point of staying at this hotel. The service, rooms and facilities are out of this world.
rooms are very specious and well decorated, the location is more than excellent, buffet breakfast very good. Excellent place in Sao Paulo none
Good size rooms with excellent bathrooms. Clean. Efficient and friendly staff and good location for first rate restaurants. Easy access to town centre, although traffic is heavy most of the day.
The staff is very helpful, and the room is clean and comfortable.
It was quiet, easy-going, efficient, good service, friendly behind the desk even if they didn't speak good English. To be honest, some people might like say it's a bit old fashioned and well-worn...
Excellent breakfasts, very friendly and helpful staff, and a brilliant location in one of the safest parts of Sao Paulo. Nothing to complain about.
the location , breakfast, and lobby there was no wi-fi in bedrooms, bathroom could have been better, needs to be modernize a little bit, personal doesnt speak english fluently, the building is a little old in the inside
The rooms were nice for the price and the fact that breakfast was included was a great plus. Also, the pool on the roof was a nice surprise. The staff who I interacted with didn't speak very much English. I know that's not really a big deal, but it was kind of a problem when it came time to check out and I couldn't communicate with the person at the front-desk.
the breakfast was ok, the pool was ok, there were enough space in the room and it was very closed to where I was working. The best thing however was that it is beside the WTC, a lovely place for shopping and the parking is free. the carpet was old and in a horrible color. the rooms need renovation and the restaurant smells funny, like the walls were humid.
Convenient for the Interlagos motor racing circuit; in a nice part of town next to a shopping mall filled with excellent restaurants
Near business area, good quality for a cheap rate, nice suites, cheap and good internet conexion and free cable TV. Breakfast included. Bathrooms are quite old, need a refurbishment.
Nice large room, friendly staff, decent breakfast included. Internet worked reasonably well, if not very fast. Hallway was being painted during my stay, which meant my room had a strong chemical smell for several days. There was no business center for printing documents (boarding passes, etc.). The staff tried to help, but could not print pdf files when I needed them. Street access to the hotel was like an alley, not inviting. Reservation was for 4 nights, but hotel only knew about 1 night.
Very kind attendants. Nice room, clean, comfortable and functional.
The hotel is nice, staff very eficient and speak good English. There is a nice night club with good music in the 4th floor. My room was a bit small and next to the elevator. Bathrooms are clean but need refreshment. Beside the most known national spirit and beer there was no other alcohol in the fridge. There was not breakfast in the quite high price. I would recomend this hotel for those who have to stay next to the WTC and if there is a good DJ in the club at 4th floor.
The room was very nice indeed. Bathroom was spacious and well decorated. Lush carpet throughout, and an extremely comfortable bed, with an excellent view. Most staff were extremely friendly. We arrived at the hotel on saturday looking to relax by the pool, and this was constantly disturbed by an endless stream of labourers moving through the pool area preparing the night club for an evet that evening. (No trade entrance???) my girlfriend couldn't even swim. The hotel dining room is limited and is vaguely seperated from the hotel reception area. We were also made to wait for a long time before recieving any attention at the reception desk relating to queries. We were also expecting to use the Club A nightclub, but were told it was closed for a private function, very dissappointing.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful during our stay -- answered questions from food in the area, sites to visit, safety of the city, how early to arrive at the airport, anything you can think of! None
hotel was well located in the center, clean rooms good breakfast but we had an issue about the airport transfer. they indicate that they have airport transfer but then they charge you 100brl for the transfer. they charge for airport transfer even if its not indicated on the hotel details.
Very adecuated location
Internet was free.. Breakfast was good No iron.. No microwave, no coffee machine
Good location for the purpose of my business trip
The Itaim Bibi neighborhood is safe and lively. Plenty of good restaurants to eat and drink at. The hotel staff was absolutely appalling, though. I was shocked at how rude someone who voluntarily works in the service industry could be, especially when it seemed due to the fact that I was speaking English. Hello, you are a clerk at an international hotel, in an international city! What do they expect? One woman, though, came from the back and kindly assisted me. She gets 5 stars. The rest of them, rude, unprofessional, and singlehandedly assured that I will never stay here or recommend it to anyone ever again. This hotel is disgusting. Giant, black stains all over my carpet. Not clean at all. The pictures aim to trick you! No air conditioning, the room was stuffy and hot. I had to leave the balcony open at all times, just to breathe. With warm weather outside, it meant I was never fully comfortable. The people at the front desk made me feel like I was a problem because they didn't speak English. So rude, acted like they didn't want to help customers. I don't require tons of attention and service, just courteous behavior as anyone would expect. Not available here. No hotel information in room. No idea how to get laundry done, use internet, hotel services directory. Nothing. This place is a complete joke. Breakfast was disgusting, too.
Well located, good pool Loud construction that began in the building in the morning, very very small bathroom (barely enough space for one person), tiny beds, virtually no amenities in the bathroom, Poorly lit hallways
Clean, fare, good breakfast with fresh fruits. Being a flat it has separated bedroom and living room and a I missed an air conditioned in the living room an a microwave oven. Really weird eggs int the breakfast.
Staff was helpful regarding information about the city, as far as they understood. I was promised an extension of my stay for the same price. Next day the reception refused it. I checked out, and I shall not return. Most of the reception staff cannot understand basic English, nor Spanish, nor 'Portanhol'. They are therefore not suitable for a 4-star hotel in Brazil's key business city.
location, free parking, friendly staff. I thought the price was too much. I[ve stayed at much better hotels for the same price
prompt service It was promissed in the reservation to have hobebath and the hotel do not suply it.
Great service, mostly English-compatible (note that in Brazil, that's actually a bit rare), nice quiet gym with gorgeous balcony overlooking city, good sized and well-appointed room, clean and friendly overall. Weak food service (made up for by the fact that some of the best food in Sao Paulo is right there), tiny TV.
The location was great and the staff were super friendly and helpful the gym was small and poorly equipped; the glass door in the bathroom was dirty; the food was just OK (but the coffee and juice was excellent)
