Anbefales!
Lovely central position,in a historic building. Clean simple, but classic, rooms and breakfast was included in the price contrary to what we'd been told Building work was going on whilst we were there, which was noisy one morning.
The location which was right next to the cathedral which is the focal point of the city. the monastic feel was a highlight. it would have been good to have had a laundry service and a television in the room
I had walked the Camino Santiago. It was a good standard of hotel having stayed in hostal-type accommodation for most of the walk. Location was excellent. Hospederia was very good but did not get the room type booked.
Absent of ascensor and internet.
The position was perfect (next to the cathedral). I loved the simplicity of the room with its cream walls, dark wood furniture which matched the shutters, the view of the hills from the window and the soft white cotton bedlinen. I liked the lack of meaningless pictures on the walls. The breakfast was just right with fruit, bread, yoghurts, etc. and it was convenient to have a dining room where you could have lunch and dinner. It was pleasing to see that a lift was being installed. If I had been staying longer, I would have welcomed a telephone in the room and a television.
hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. As i do not speak spanish i found it very helpful that the staff spoke good english. As a vegetarian not much of a choice of hot food. May be some eggs would have been nice.
Location and very well appointed rooms with excellent quality bedding It took 2 days to get a bedside lamp replaced where the bulb was missing
very pleasant room a bit small but otherwise very tidy and new furnishings. Comfortable.
very good decoration, perfect location, comfortable beds and kind staff poor breakfast
Rooms are nicely decorated, modern and efficient; the glass balconies add roon and light to the hotel rooms. Noise travels between rooms, walls seem not to be too wide and the laminated floors are a bit loud
Central location in quiet courtyard in historic Santiago. The twin room was large and spotless overlooking a wonderful feng shui garden. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.Great attention was payed to my 2 year old grandchild. All our needs were satisfied. We did not expect private parking in this ancient part of the city and found a public care park nearby.
Excellent location. A few meters from the cathedral and main sights. THe restaurant is very good. Nice terrace in the back of the hotel. THe rooms are somehow noisy. Not very good insulated from noisy in the common areas.
The Hotel had a great reform very recently. The architect that designed the rooms should be denounced as an incompetent - very, very, very bad and uncomfortable.
A lovely hotel located in the heart of "old" Santiago. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated, with excellent attention to detail. The staff were friendly, courteous and always helpful. We had a fantastic stay at this special gem!
spacious room, excellent coffee, nice garden to have some good wine.
A most modern interior in an old Gothic building. Extremely pleasant, at a very good location in The old Gothic Quarter Of Santiago, near The Cathedral and all The touristic sites, and right accross from the Market. The noise from The market in The early morning. However that canto be helped lince The hotel is accross The street from the market
Location and style of room. Staff were very helpful Noise from teh street was an issue. Also foyer area had wooden floors and very noisy
The staff were exceptional, the hotel extremly clean and well located for the old city the rooms were excellent, but would have liked tea & cofee making facilities
the breakfast was expensive with only one cup of coffee allowed, a pot of coffee would be more appropriate.
Nice design, nice balcony, bathroom, pleasant personnel, breakfast room spacious and pleasant. Separate beds, no double bed.
Very good position for visiting the old town 15 minutes walk.Plenty restaurants and good food at reasonable prices.Cafeteria in the hotel very convenient for a coffee or drink on arrival or before going out.
Good location within walking distance of Santiago centre.
No food available other than breakfast and nothing much available in the attached cafe - along way to any eating place
Friendliness of staff
Everything. I had a good time, was treated fairly and I will book again at any Husa Hotel chain
Atmosphere friendly and added to our enjoyment of a very enjoyable visit to Santiago de Compostela
Well positions hotel for the old town on the outer main road withinin easy walking distance. Clean and tidy. Typical Spanish town hotel: Staff are rude and reluctant to serve (reception and cafe). Beds not very comfortable and pillows useless, Several electrical items in the room were not working and no satellite tv as advertised.
Nice clean comfortable rooms Cafe only ok. Other guests made a great deal of noise outside the room at 5 in the morning! American party leaving. No regard for other people. Advised the hotel at check out.
The staff were really friendly. I can't speak much spanish but managed to order coffee and toast in spanish. Staff really patient when we couldn't understand each other. Would have liked a garden to sit in.
WiFi was not available. IP address was not assigned by DHCP server. Then, I asked the receptionist to reset it. But, she never do it and continued to say that there is no problem. I asked only reset DHCP, though. I could not access to internet until my departure.
Well furnished, excellently designed hotel, very central (& close to Ryanair bus stop)
Very central-near the old town. We had a room in the back which was very quiet-lovely balcony. Very clean. Some of the staff at reception had very little English so it was hard to communicate.
The hotel is well positioned in the old town and the use of stone makes the interior very attractive. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant is good, although under separate management. The name means Pilgrim's Bakery, which perhaps it once was. The hotel cannot help its main drawback, which is that it faces a busy street and is opposite a bus stop making unloading difficult and parking impossible. Of course this doesn’t matter if you don’t have a car. Also, in common with many hotels in Spain, there is a fixed glass shower screen in the bathroom, which sometimes makes entry and exit from the bath difficult for old or large people.
nicely renovated, good architecture and interior walls (the rock is a nice touch) The floors squeaked.
Position of the hotel was excellent right across from the market and the old quarter. Hotel staff were very helpfull and the hotel recently upgraded excellent price for our stay. We would stay here again.
modern clean room. hotel in good central location.
Staff were really helpful and it was spotless
The location of the hotel was very good, very close to the old market, Plaza de Abastos and to the historic centre of Santiago. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The building and decor were very attractive. The food in the restaurant was of a very good quality and the "menu del dia" in particular was very good value for money. The only slight complaint we had was that smoking was allowed in the restaurant.
Firstly, it was not specified that the Double room we booked was with two separate beds (Twin beds) or with one double bed. It has to be specified I think as a couple has the need to sleep together in a comfortable double bed and not two separate beds put together. It's not comfortable. And, the cleaners making noises fairly early in the morning.outside my room..
