Great service all the way around. Bathroom was horrible, no counter space and the sink was leaking into the floor.
Shower was amazing and outdoor bar was beautiful. The mattress was incredibly soft, not firm. D'Amico food was fair - very surprised by that!
Very modern. Great style and terrific service! Marin is a great restaurant!!
Great location. Skyway and downtown stores & restaurants super convenient. Clean, light and airy. Giant windows. Great beds. Shower leaked and cupboard door fell off despite being fixed once. I was never told the price of parking. Last year it was free. This year it was $22 a day. Would have like to have known. High cost for in room Internet.
The room was very spacious. The staff was fairly responsive once we alerted them of the issues. There were several little things that added up to a disappointing stay for us. Wireless internet was not free in our rooms, which I have only ever experienced at a hotel that was SO nice that it made it worth it to come down to the lobby and use the free wifi. This was not, however, SO nice. The lobby area was small. No late checkout? I have literally never heard of this. I wasn't allowed to check in until 3, so why do I have to be out of the room by noon? They forgot to take off the disabled movies from the previous resident. Again - not a huge deal, but when I called the front desk, the person told me "that's just how it is sometimes" and he "doesn't know how the movies work up there." O-kay... so I asked to speak with a manager, and was placed on hold for way too long. Someone finally called us back and fixed it, but at that point we didn't really feel like spending the money on it. They really should have offered us a free movie or something to make up for it. Oh, they forgot towels when cleaning the room. And there were only 2 to begin with. This seems like a pretty basic step. All of this would have been fine/expected at a 2-3 star hotel, but I expected a little better from this one.
Parking is inconvenient
Room was clean, nice desk, updated furniture Shower did not drain, bed was curved (so not flat), and the Internet is not free...
The staff was incredibly helpful and polite. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Was fun being able to stay in downtown minneapolis within walking distance of anything you want to do for nightlife. Can't think of anything negative.
The room was nice. Good desk, big tv, mini bar and really nice bathroom. Bed was ok. The view was just of the building across the way. No pool for guests.
Great views, nice room. Room windows were drafty, hotel staff seemed generally clueless about their own hotel.
Location is great close to Target field and Target Center. AC in the room was terrible room was hot and uncomfortable.
Nice location. Decent room. No real complaints.
Staff was friendly Clogged sink/then toilet clogged and that wasn't fixed for 12 hours /tv didn't work/glasses not replaced/towels had stains/no fridge where fridge was meant to be/ no offer to move us or compensate us for inconvenience
It's a nice get a way.
Beautiful, comfortable rooms with amazing city views. The breakfast suite had beautiful views as well. Room service was extremely fast. Parking fee, even though the website said included. Breakfast needed far more selection. Minor complaint: Would be helpful if the room had USB charging ports for cell phones. Most hotels include ports in their lamps or alarm clocks.
Nice rooms with modern fixtures. My favorite was the lighting in the bathroom Parking was TERRIBLE. I was not notified of parking arrangements for guests during check-in
A modern contemporary room. Comfortable, stylish and right downtown. We walked to events and resturaunts during our stay.
We went there for a bachelorette party - The front desk was able to get us in for early check in so we could decorate the room, and the customer service was OUTSTANDING. Hotel is beautiful - Will definitely book again
Staff was friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was excellent!
The new rooms were beautiful and big! Very European. I Liked the new design and layout. Bathroom was fun to try since it would be impractical in one's own house! Decor and colors were soothing! The chair in the new room was not very cozy and comfortable. Something softer would be great. Also, the towels are a long way in a cold room from the shower. It would be great if there could be one of those towel warming racks on a nearby wall. Maybe at the other end of the tub - it would be closer!
The room was clean, modern and pleasant. The amenities current and thoughtful. There seemed to be a lot of noise that traveled into our room from the hall (loud laughter from a group roaming the halls at 3AM) and I could hear the unanswered alarm going off for an hour in the neighboring room. We were in room # 717.
Modern. Great hip design Was all good
The staff were helpful in upgrading our accommodations after we expressed disappointment with the room we booked. (See below) The hotel is misleading in what it advertises as a "junior suite" for which they charge $50 extra per night. It is not a suite. It is just a large room. And it's not even good extra space. Just an oversized entry way and an extra strip of space between the bed and TV. Also, when i booked, there was no mention that the room didn't have a window to the outdoors; just an atrium view. Definitely not worth paying for. But the staff was kind enough to get us a better room. Apparently they've heard this complaint before. My biggest complaint is with Kayak/Orbitz customer service. The first person I called was helpful, but got disconnected. The second argued with me and then refused to escalate me to his manager. Instead he tried to transfer me to the hotel, but nobody answered. I called back again and asked for a manager at Orbitz, but nobody answered there either. I wanted to reward Kayak with the booking since I used their service to find the hotel, but I will never book via Kayak again after that atrocious customer service.
Design, very comfy bed, wonderful bathroom, great room service No in-room movies (contrary to advertisement), Internet was down whole first night (also contrary to advertising), maids come into the room early despite the "do not disturb" sign...multiple times both days we stayed, front desk help was apathetic and snarky.
I liked it that even though I booked the reservation online and they had no record of my reservation when I checked in, they found a room for us and upgraded us for a minimal charge. They were very accommodating and apologetic.
We were in town to attend a Twins baseball game, so this was a perfect location to walk to the ballpark. It's also close to a lot of great restaurants and other downtown activities. We came back to the hotel for nightcap and the bar had already closed down. Other than leaving the property, we didn't have another option. It wasn't even midnight on a Thursday night. Seemed odd for a downtown hotel.
Hotel was clean. Workout facility and swimming pool was great, but I do agree with other reviewers that the chlorine made my eyes sting. Location was great. We pulled up and the valet told us of a parking ramp attached to the sky way that offered cheaper parking! So kind of him and it saved us $20. We could hear normal conversation through the walls and ALL the hallway noise. I have had quieter rooms at a "non-luxury hotel". This hotel promotes itself as luxury hotel, but we have stayed at Hampton Inns that were so much quieter. I honestly prefer the Hampton Inn over this hotel.
Loved the room with the tall ceilings. The view was horrible from our window. There were not enough towels. The noise was so bad from the hallway that it kept us up for most of the night. Very thin walls.
Staff was very friendly and helped us with anything we needed. The pool experience was terrible. Over-chlorinated to the point where my son was coughing and couldn't breathe. Even my throat was burning, and I wasn't even swimming.
Very nice and comfortable. Rooms were inviting and home like Our room had some things left behind in the dresser that weren't to appealing.
The room was decent and clean. Fairly close to downtown Minneapolis attractions. $200 extra held upon check-in for "incidentals". Parking is extra $. Fees upon fees upon fees for everything you can think of. Don't even bother with room service.
Staff was friendly. Bar staff was fun. Convenient location. The cost if the hotel was great until you realize that parking is not included. Valet is $40+. Most offer thato with no extra cost or a much smaller fee. Parked on my own to avoid that, and it was still $20 overnight fee.
I just loved this hotel it is close to everything. A convenient walk from the light rail and Nicollet mall
Clean, quiet and comfortable hotel. Expensive to park, if you are driving.
Nice enough rooms, very clean, good location with lots close by. Parking has to be in ramps, as expected while dt during a busy weekend Staff was not friendly, could definitely tell the restaurant and bar staff did not want to be there.
The lobby and restaurant are in a beautiful old bank building that has been restored. The rooms are modern and clean.
Very modern and clean. Very comfortable beds. Great location to be able to walk around to downtown locations. Parking was expensive especially for a one day stay.

It's awesome. I won't stay downtown any place else. Nothing. It's awesome.
Free Breakfast and Great location $13 dollars for parking

The stay was very good. Everything is connected by covered bridges so that I did not have to go outside, which was a plus since we had 15 inches of snow fall during our stay. The only issues that I had were locating the entrance to the hotel and the parking was in a public facility which was a bit pricy. It would have been perfect if the hotel paid for the parking or part of the parking.
the rooms had kitchens and were very big the only thing is the fee they put on hold i never was told their was a 60$ hold but you get it back so other than that this is great hotel
Comfort and a great location.
Lovely clean room, nicely designed and laid out. Noise from street, noise from hallway traffic.
Great location! The hide-a-bed was VERY uncomfortable. The furniture was in poor condition.
Excellent accommodations, friendly staff and a location that is within walking distance of concert venues, stadiums and theatres. Everything was great.
The staff was friendly. The room we booked was large with a lot of extra space, which is always nice considering there were four of us in the room. Pull-out couch is smaller, would only fit one adult comfortably.
Very clean; good breakfast buffet No towels in exercise room; expensive parking;cheap blankets
Felt fancy, drove up in my muddy f250, looked at this crazy redneck like I was out of place. Had them valet that sucker right on the spot, smiles and friendliness (easy and fast) "that what she said" , had a greeter summon an elevator and direct me to the 5th floor, jammed to some dope elevator tunes. Got to the front desk, a little backed up , the fancy fancy platinum members line was bone dry, guess I wasn't that special. Cutie behind the counter was polite and humorous. (Received the cards) bam elevators, bam at my door on the tenth floor, bam key swiped, and then..... You got to set your expectations on size low, Immediately my buddy had to rub in my face "way to go on getting the smallest room bruh" I replied "ST@#" started getting ready for our concert, I then call the frount desk and ask for one of them rolly beds, "yes sir we will send it right up" bam problem adverted, took an hr to get all ready (bruh was being a pre- donna ) still no bed, phhh we gots to go so they will come drop it off , so we leave ( fast forward through all the dark/IPA non hipster beer fest, eye melting, ear penetrating, mind blowing sounds of senses fail/sum41 and post game pizza at louches) drunk walk back from all that madness, get to the lobby and apparently Vinilla Ice Ice baby is staying there to and had all his groupies waiting down there for them, a couple girls come up to my buddy and ask "do you know which room he is in?" That playa was all like " yeah follow us we just ran to get Ice his "stuff" " up the elevator and to the door *fist bump* open the door......just the small room, 1 bed (no roll out) SMH. Called front desk again "sorry we are completely out" nooooo! I called shotgun so I was legit, buddy froze on the floor, at 3, 5, 8 am sounded like someone was banging on our door, royaly pissed me off, (no one was even there!?) after the second knock and my friend slowly dieing of hypothermia we called and asked them to send up pillows and blankets, got them , bro was no longer a popsicle. Woke up called the manager/ now we all good, I would totally stay here again when I'm downtown!! For realzies!
staff was great overall clean bathroom stink long way from parking garage
Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable, clean room Confusing parking arrangement
Long walk from parking garage
Convenient location, friendly staff, clean, quiet room. Overpriced for the size of the room, which was fine because we weren't in it much, but it really was tiny. Great view, comfortable bar/lounge area and great spot for walking downtown. Garth Brooks
Walking distance to a lot of attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff
It's just not worth what they charge. Front desk operations has nice people but not wait lines are long. Noisy and hard to sleep. Beds need to be replaced.
Loews Minneapolis Hotel completely blew me away during my stay this past week. The skyscape view was incredible, and the hotel is perfectly positioned around a ton of awesome shops, restaurants, and venues for those who get time to explore. The front desk and Star Service staff were unbelievable. I've been to hundreds of hotels in my professional lifetime, and Loews ranks among the very best hotel experiences I've ever had. Even the valet was amazing--that's hard to find. The morning breakfast buffet was overpriced for what was offered. I'd suggest discounting the $20 buffet price for those staying in the hotel (perhaps if they're willing to charge to the room for verification).
Our room was nice, but the mattress on the king size bed was old and springy. Also, the previous occupant of the room had set the alarm on the ipod docking station, and we were woken up several times before we were fully awake enough to turn it off. Way to expensive for what they have to offer. Valet parkin was 30 dollars a day!
Location Business center was expensive and slow. Only 1 of 2 computers actually worked.
My wife and children were in town to go to a Twins game. Chris at the front desk relized we were there for the twins game and moved our room so that our boys were able to see the stadium from the room. Thank you Chris and thank you Graves hotel. Nothing
THe room was quite nice & a good size, breakfast delivered on time, cleaning staff particularly pleasant. There was no tub in the bathroom & no bathrobe.
The staff were extremely friendly and the atmosphere was great.
great rooms, great service, great location
love the location in downtown Minneapolis, and the bars and restaurants near the hotel are great. Location right off of first avenue. I think the area right next to the lobby leading up to the skyway was under construction, kinda unattractive but no big deal. I will stay here again.
Discreet hotel, therefore very secure. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Rooms light and airy with comfortable beds and every comfort. Best hotel that I've stayed in in Minneapolis.
The atmosphere and location If you do self park it's a bit confusing and inconveient.
The staff was attentive & very courteous. The beds were sooo comfortable. The food was great and the bar went out of their way to meet our needs. Did I say the staff was attentive & courteous? Had a great time at the Graves 601.
Great location by baseball and basketball arenas! Nice breakfast each morning that is open late.
Great spot, right next to everything and has a nice ride just outside if you need to get anywhere else downtown. Can walk to just about anywhere from here. Beds were very hard, my back killed the next morning. Put a pillow under you knees at night and you'll probably be ok.
