Convenience to the town centre lack of parking guaranteed
my wife and i have stayed at this hotel at least 4 times in the last 5 years.it is excellent for travelers of modest needs. it is particularly well maintained and clean.the breakfast in among the best we have found in europe.and the wi-fi internet is reliable and free.
Clean and nice with friendly staff. The parking lot saved is a lot of hazzle. Our particular room was very nice and well kept - but unfortunately ground level and no window with a view.
Friendliness of staff and cleanliness of hotel Room rather small
Proximity to the lake and the old village - free car parking - free internet- shower room first class. Helpful at reception - good rate A bit difficult to find - lift was vey small
Hospitality of the staff Hotel room, which was small, not comfortable and was poor value for money.
Close to Gare but not affected by noise, Friendly, efficient staff, close to shops and restaraunts and close to old town. 10 minute walk to lake. When the strikes started and we were wondering if our trains would run and needed to find out new timetables, the staff were not interested in helping us with this problem. I thought they could also have allerted us to the fact that there was a problem, because not speaking french, we could easily have not known that there were problems.
Convenient location within easy walking distance of station. Helpful people both at hotel and in Annecy. The town provides a scenic setting, ideal for a relaxing holiday.
V. Friendly and excellent breakfast
Comfort, location -
Nei.
The proximity to the old town area The suite we booked had self catering facilities but did not include a basic welcome pack which ment that we did not use them
good location with parking lots and convenient studio with kitchen facilities.
Privilodges Le Royal - Apparthotel in Annecy is the perfect place to stay. It is very affordable and has neat clean apartments. The staff is most helpful and efficient, there is a nice fitness room, and the location in the old town is ideal. no
This is a great hotel if travelling with children - the apartement style with 2nd bedroom and kitchen facilities are fab. The photos/description don't do it justice as the room are a lot more comfortable and cosy and the bathrooms more modern than they look. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as there were lots of lovely pattisseries close by. The location is great, overlooking a small square/playpark, within easy reach of the old town and lake.
Liked having cooking and refrigeration facilities in own room. Also access to laundry facilities and free internet access
The new rooms are nice. The destination near to the old town ist brilliant.
Location, modern, design, clean, comfort, price, staff. Everything was very good. I have no negative remarks to do. Strongly recommended.
Central location was good. 5 minutes from train station and 5minutes to lake. In the heart of the old town-so easy to get around.
The quality of the service
The location and the parking. Our room was not very comfortable. We were in a studio on the basment floor (room 6 I think). We were two adults and a baby and the room was quite claustrophobic as the window couldnt be opened and it didn't provide any view. Furnishings were cheap and stark in appearance and the sofa was very uncomfortable. We ended up just leaving the bed pulled down as it was more comfortable than the sofa. Room could have been cleaner. There were dirty tissues behind the bed and the mirror was marked with what looked like paw prints. I would stay here again but not on the ground floor. I'd book a more expensive apartment if staying here again.
A lovely hotel in a supurb setting. The restaurant was too expensive and closed on Sunday! The brasserie was not open at all!! No English channels on T.V.
The lake/mountains view and the swimming pool. Oh, yes, aplenty: lack of comfort - small room/bathroom, no aircon (worse if room under the roof); unprofessional, immature staff, unable to answer simple questions about the place but suggesting we should go to the tourist information office downtown instead! One morning breakfast service was appalling, but the hotel manager was 'unavailable' (en rendez-vous) to take comments directly and never replied to our complaints. Hotel restaurant was rather pricey for a family with children, hence the need to sample the restaurants downtown; plenty of choices there but the return to the hotel problematic in the dark. Romantically involved couples of all ages may find this place attractive for a night or two but a longer stay is not justified.
pillows, bathroom, robes, view, inside space itself (i.e. dining and sitting areas - I could imagine having a wedding there), staff (friendly, helpful, and excellent English), dvd player room smelled bad, farther away than indicated on map - quite a hike
Good access, free parking, wi-fi, good but very expensive breakfast. Rooms were small for the price and our room was under very noisy stairway. When I complained next morning I was changed to another somewhat less noisy under another stairway. Staff did their best but basically they are stuck with the small, noisy (but well equiped) rooms. No English language TV was available in the room yet CNN was available in breakfast room- I was told they were in middle of changing to a new service and nothing could be done and no credit was offered.
The setting was fantastic and the facilities were very good. Staff were both friendly and helpful. Rooms were a little small for the price and the hotel bar prices were prohibitive and double the cost of lakeside cafes/resturants in Annecy which is only a short walk away. (9 euros for an orange juice !)
Its location The service and the food in the main restaurant was very poor and the head waiter ignored our complaints
The hotel is lovely - quite a business hotel though and the breakfast and food quite pricey when paying your own way. Not ideal for families because of this. Location good - you can walk down to the lake and town in about 15 minutes and the view is fab.
Proximity of the hotel to the old town. Hotel was expensive. Room was very small. Shower not up to date and bathroom could do with an update. Spa was not as good as the photos made out
fabulous views from the pool noise from the staff quarters in the early hours. difficult to to get into town due to lack of taxis. Expensive food
friendy staff entrance to garage
The hotel it self. No, at all.
Reception people are excellent. And Spa is clean and clean.
We really enjoyed the hotel - the decor was perfect, the room was comfortable and nicely organized. The added benefit of free Wifi was nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location was absolutely perfect for access to the bus, old city, park, lake. perfect. We found the daily cleaning service to be a little lacking. Dirty towels that we left on the floor as instructed were not completely replaced, nor were sundries on a daily basis. The room was not vaccumed during our four day stay and got a bit worn and cluttered looking. The tub wouldn't hold water (slow leak). Everything else was perfect however.
Good location, friendly staff, nice spa and room. Street noise was a bit loud, although got used to it after a couple of days.
Very good, comfortable hotel located very conveniently for centre of Annecy
Nespresso machine at breakfast. Air-con worked well and was nice & quiet.
Excellent little spot for a city break. the breakfast is truly excellent, the staff are really helpful, whole place very chic and stylish. Very good value for money and perfectly positioned for all the major sights.
The kind service, the jacuzzi and Sauna. Also the pleasant decoration Only that they do not have restaurant and the bar service closes early on the night
friendly staff Efficient room; not very cosy.
quality of hotel although the hotel is about 15min level walk to the town the last 50 meters up to the hotel are very steep
Peace and quiet Friendly and helpful staff No
This a very reasonably priced hotel for the area and the room is fine. The views are stunning
Nice sitting room!
Quiet out of town position with a good view of the lake. The bath was only suitable for a baby, the balcony was very small and there was no air conditioning. The result was that for the extra 50 Euros the room was poor value for money.
The location was good and the setting was fantastic. The building had a lot of character and the rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good for such a small little hotel.
Nice decoration, friendly staff.I would visit it again!
Everything is nice except that you can really hear everything going on in the next room / toilet / etc. Other than that the hotel is very nice.
The location - beautiful views of the mountains and lake, only a short walk from the old town with its shops and restaurants, but on a quiet road. It would have been good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I know that hot and cold drinks were available in the lounge, but it isn't quite the same. I don't know if it is particular to English hotels, but I've never been to one that doesn't have a kettle and sachets of tea/coffee in each room.
the balcony room was nice and the room had a fridge
Location was very good and while room was somewhat small it was comfortable and very clean. Our view was of the "courtyard" but actually the room looked out on a window box that sat on a small ledge...no view at all
Our room was very comfortable, decor was lovely. Everything was excellent. No problems or complaints
Friendly staff and location No
Our desk clerk, Thierry, was extraordinarily helpful. His English was impeccable....and he always had a smile on his face. We thought this hotel, in it's perfect location, was unbeatable. Contemporary bathroom, perfect lounge area, gracious staff. Perhaps the beds could use a soft latex or memory pad as they were very firm. Also beware that if you get a whirlpool room, the people next to you might have one too. We were awake until 2Am while our neighbors enjoyed theirs. The next night we chose a top floor, non-whirlpool room and were much happier with the quiet and the views (403 is a perfect room for 2-5 people)
very helpful staff Braekfast had a good choice. Very well situated
The hotel has a nice ambiance, a convenient location, spacious rooms and is good value for money
Excellent location, the renovated rooms are fine. Good breakfast. Same price for rooms that were not renovated than for renovated ones. Bathroom in the non-renovated rooms not ok for a hotel of this category/price.
the room was confortable e clean, the staff was very gentle, the localization is excellent, very central.
It´s a good option in Annecy, especially when you consider value for money. It´s enough.
Location providing outstanding lake views combined with helpful staff and superior breakfasts. N/A
Helpful staff - especially Steff No
Good location, comfortable rooms, nice value for money
The only disadvantage of the hotel is its remoteness from the city center
On the first stay, the rooms we booked were excellent. Staff at the desk were extremely helpful and very welcoming On the second stay, a week later, I felt the rooms were very poor value for money. In both cases, the bathrooms were not of a standard I expect in a 3 star hotel
Good quiet position within easy reach of old town and the town centre.
Location is good. Hotel very nice. -
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel is not far from the old town of Annecy so is in a good position. The hotel also has a car park which is very useful. The rooms are clean and spacious. Would definitely use again.
The hotel was clean and quiet with a good selection for breakfast. There were 8 of us staying and all had a really good time. We were a family group of 5 Senior Citizens and three 40-45 year olds. We were in France to celebrate my youngest sisters 60th birthday. She lives in Charvonnex France and cannot travel When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist directed all her comments to my brother-in-law who speaks French (he lives there) but was not staying at the hotel. 3 of our party could have managed but we also found out the next day that the receptionist herself also spoke quite good english. We felt a little upset about this.
excellent breakfasts , staff helpful air conditioning/heating in room too complicated and noisy
Reception Desk: very friendly, Breakfast: good; Early cancelation after first night was accepted with no problem Rooms were to small: Should not be sold as a 2+1 Family room; Better cleaning and housekeeping needed
The bed No
That the windows could be opened. No fridge. No instructions that the lights had to be switched on to use a power point.
Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Good central location
in fact there is not any thing i like it in the hotel. in fact it is too bad with not any facilities at all. this is the worst hotel i had stayed .u can pay more 20 euroes for a very good hotel .
The hotel was fine and well-located. However, we had a very difficult time finding it as the streets have been changed to one-way and many bricked over for pedestrians. We spend 40 mins. trying to get there. We just didn't realize that the streets would have been so changed since we were there 6 years ago.
If we come back to Annecy we would stay here. Nice staff, quiet hotel, close to the sncf. Un grand merci
Hotel in good position near to centre, room clean and bathroom ok cleaned every day breakfast worth the money plenty to choose from, staff helpful. The only bad point it did not have a bar but apart from that no other bad points
Friendly staff, good size room, good breakfast
Friendly and helpful receptionist
