Location, facilities, room I was very unhappy with the service I received at the beach bar
Very nice location and facilities. outlook from restaurants and bars over the lake very impressive. Nothing in particular.
Fantastic old style hotel with great facilites and great staff. Just about the best location on the Lake Como with great views over the lake and Bellagio. Bad Internet service and ridicoulous to pay extra given the EUR 500+ daily room cost
The Hotel looks very nice from the outside. Furthermore its situated in Tremmezo which close to a lot of nice place like Belaggio, etc.. The reception staff is very friendly and helpfull. The rooms need a lot off refurbishing, its not looked after for a long time. Also the rooms are very noisy, you can hear everything what happens next and above you. The waiters aren’t what you would expect for a 5 star hotel. Long waiting times for drinks and food. They don’t seem to enjoy serving you or answering question. The food and drinks are extremely pricy. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but this is definitely overpriced. Also the waiters and many other staff don’t speak english. Not a problem when you stay in a 3 or 4 star hotel. It can be charming in the begging that they don’t speak English but i would prefer they would speak English
This place is fantastic. The day spa is superb and service tops
great place, would highly recommend one of the finest hotels in italy i have benn too. none
the view of the lake
free internet access
Grand style of decorations, yet very comfortable, No
Wonderful location, great service, excellent food, elegant hotel
Proximity to boats and shops with a reasonable and convenient restaurant attached. Breakfast. Plenty of choice but awful coffee, a toaster that did not toast, boiled eggs hours old, scrambled eggs and bacon watery and mostly cold.
Location, location, location. I had a room overlooking Lake Como, so the view was beautiful. Extremely nice staff. My room also had a large bathroom, although some did not. Good value. Nice size room. No Internet in rooms, only lobby. Lobby is small and hardly accommodated those who needed Internet. Also, no room left for other guests to sit. No iron in room and/or no ironing room. Big problem as I always iro when I get to hotel. Had to pay neighboring cleaners business to press my clothes, and they weren't open until the following day after check-in, etc. I would say hotel is good for romance but not good enough for honeymoon.
Great location with outstanding views from front rooms and (small) breakfast terrace. Large comfortable room. Free internet in reception.
The excellent position and the mini suite was of a high standard, breakfast was good by european standards with wide selection of items.
The location of the hotel is beautiful. The room was comfortable and the staff was very accomidating. We would gladly stay again in the future.
Hotel was very nice, although a bit pricey. Location was excellent, as was the service. I was pleased with our stay and would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
The room was attractive and comfortable with a nice view of Lake Como. THe staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much.
The location was wonderful. The staff very friendly and helpful, the room was great with a view over the lake . Expensive
We had a nice room with a lake view--just what we had asked for. Nice buffet breakfast included with room. We were very pleased.
The situation of the hotel directly facing the lake The bar staff were a little slow in coming to serve drinks outside the hotel
Utrolig fin beliggenhet. Flott rom med utsikt over sjøen.
Meget komfortabelt, og flott utsikt over sjøen.
The hotel staff was very accommodating. I asked if they could find the Venice marathon on TV and they found it. They massage person was willing to stay late to fit me in. The staff in the fitness center was very helpful. The bed turn down in the evening could have left a piece of chocolate or something
We have stayed at the Villa Serbelloni three times and have enjoyed the elegance, romantic ambiance and comfortable rooms. The food was excellent in both dining rooms and the service excellent. The concierge gave us good information. We were also given an upgrade....great. there is nothing we did not enjoy about the hotel.
The only good thing about this hotel in all honesty was the location in Bellagio. First of all this is a rather pricey place. That is fine if the hotel is worth it. 5 * this is not, I can't even push to a 4 *. This was supposed to be the best hotel in Bellagio so we chose to stay here for our friends' wedding in Varena. The hotel staff was cranky - not a smile on anyone there, if you ever could find someone! I felt like I was in the movie The Shining. The hotel was very depressing, really in need of renovation. It smelled old and musty-- there were lace doilies with plants throughout the hotel -- I felt like we were staying with Grandma! Electric outlets in our room didn't work, nor did the safe. Every noise could be heard in the hotel, doors slamming, echoes. I do not recommend you stay here.
Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni did a fantastic job of taking care of us - very comfortable room, welcoming staff, and wonderful facilities. They were great with greeting you by name, suggestions on activities and arranging dining reservations. It didn't matter if you pulled up in a Bentley or not ( we didn't)
One of the top hotels in the world. Every aspect of the stay was excellent.
Staff very eager to please Sadly our well behaved dog was restricted to room and non-public areas. He was welcome in the village terrace bars and surely could have been also welcome in the hotel casual terrace bar. We can find hotels more accepting of dogs. Hence my non-recommendation below.
Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful Italian lakeside town - spectacular setting, beautiful gardens - hard to get to but worth it - rooms and hotel kept very clean - crisp linen bedding - Concierge very helpful with car rental, day trip to visit nearby villa, dinner reservations etc. - delicious buffet breakfast Didnt realize Bellagio was so far north - hard to get to as you have to navigate along a steep, narrow, winding road - We did not know that you could take a car ferry from Como which would have made things a lot easier - However, the hotel was beautiful
Limited and costly use of the Internet or Wi-fi
Mistral restaurant, quality of room, location and view; pool and lake swimming; access to ferries to wide range of destinations. The sommelier at Mistral was outstanding, as was all the service there. Our room (park view) was superb, spacious, elegant and had a balcony. The outdoor cafe - under the pergola - had much poorer service and value than any other part of the hotel and was disappointing.
Wery fine hotell, service at top, good orchestra every night. One of the best 5 star hotel.
We were made to feel so special and nothing was ever to much for the wonderful staff
it was quiet and relaxing and comfortable and very clean I expected a better view from balcony
We left after one night. We were most unhappy with this establishment and will not be recommending it to anyone. This is not a hotel!!
We really enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere, the view to the mountains and the wonderful host family. I think the website showed and old picture of the view which is now obscured by another buidling. When we arrived there was a strong odour a bit like a curry had been cooked in the kitchen but the smell permeated throughout. These are not big issues but obviously the only things we could find fault with. It was really a very pleasant stay.
close to the local activities.
Lovely location, friendly locals, nice to have freedom of the appartment. Although the owner was able to get to us quickly it was not immediately obvious that we had to telephone her on arrival which was irritating after 12 hours in a car. Also, although there were notices to tell us to put rubbish in the correct bins and not to leave air con on when out, there were no details asd to where the bins were or how to control the air con (which, incidently tipped water out all over one of our bags with no warning). The appartment vwas lovely but was obviously not cleaned thoroughly between visits.......though this did not mar our enjoyment of Bellagio.
Staff at the desk were very helpful. The location was fine, and views from the dining room were spectacular. Noisy motor scooters passing by after we'd gone to bed (we were on the street side of the hotel)
Enjoyed our stay, this is the forth accasion we've stayed and have never been disappointed, although it's getting rather PRICY - see what you can do for regular supporters - It's costly enough flying from Australia Not applicable
Location. No free wifi.
The staff was very helpful and the location terrilfic.
This was an excellent place to stay, from the moment we arrived the staff could not have been more helpful. The spa facilities are wonderful and the views from the hotel can only be described as spectacular. We would highly recommend this hotel.
There's nothing negative to say. Great room, great balcony, great view, great service, good price.
The hotel is about 5mins drive from Bellagio. Without a car, it would have been very difficult to get the town centre even though there is a bus (very infrequent - every 2 hours) which stops right outside the hotel. However, the hotel offers a shuttle service between the hotel and the town centre on request, which is a great service. This hotel is brand new and has modern decoration with a great view of the lake. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom could have been a bit more functional e.g. a glass shower screen. Otherwise, a very big bathroom.
All rooms have amazing view of the lake and the mountains, rooms are large and very clean.
The views from our room were spectacular....4* The bathroom was very modern but the hand held shower & no curtain made for a wet bathrom...2* All rooms seem to have either patios or balconies and all faced lake Como.4*. The hotel runs a complimentary shuttle several times a day and provides parking..4* They have a lovely pool with views...4* The beds were comfortable...3* The hotel is remote and too far from Ballagio to walk. Often the management is condescending. The very basic continental breakfast was over priced but the first shuttle didn't run until 10 am and there is no place within walking distance.
-Very frIendly and helpful staf. Fantastic wiew to the lake, better than luxury hotels or rich people villas have. Large living/bedroom with kitchen facilities. Very good price value. Excelent heating/air conditioning system. Cleaning very good inside and outside the hotel. Garage incl. price. Breakfast well enough to compare the price.
The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Facilites excellent, parking available. Brand new hotel.
This hotel is breaht takingly beautiful. Has a very zen like, serene feel to it. Rooms are very simple, clean. Wonderful big, deep tub, towel warming racks, powerful shower heads, internet access via cable provided by front desk for 10 euro deposit. They gave us a ride to and from town at no cost. Breakfast provided. A little removed from central bellagio. Approx a 10 to 15 minute taxi ride from in town, cost about 10 euro. Worth every penny. Wonderful front desk staff, wonderful facility, couldnt ask for a better view. I will definitely go back to this hotel. None
Very good location, excellent service. Non
Spectacular view. Very nice rooms. Getting there by public transit with relatively large luggage was challenging.
clean, big room, reduced price at the adjacent restaurant the view, quite expensive (price-quality rate), reservations were unknown with staff at arrival, arrival before 7 pm
Room very spacious, and very functional kitchen. Great central location. We had two separate studio apartments, with a central lobby that was very convenient Only one of the studios had a toaster
It was easy to locate, comfortable and very comfortable na
The Hotel Nuovo Miralago was a great little bed and breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful, the hotel was very clean and the views were amazing. I would highly recommend staying here especially if you don't mind a short walk into town.
Excellent location removed from "downtown" Bellagio. Walk to town in 10 minutes (fairly strenuous). Restaurant nearby.
Very nice and quiet location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
parking, secure, clean, easy walk into town.
It was easy to get there by car and there was parking both out and in the hotel court. Staff spoke bad English, breakfast only from 8.30, room really small though we paid for view hotel.
great value, possibility of lake view , buffet breakfast very good would like to know in advance how to book a lake view room
The view from our hotel balcony was stunning. The rooms were cleaned every day and the restaurant was superb. The staff could not be more helpful (Thank you Marta, Carlo and staff for making our stay so enjoyable). No air conditioning but a fan was provided. No lift but this was due to age of hotel. It did not spoil our enjoyment - the hotel has an abundance of character and we liked this more.
The location and view of Lake Como were fabulous. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The shower looke great with body massager jets but they didn't work well and the hairdryer was broken and not usable although it turned on the flextubing was torn.
We couldn't have found a better place to stay. The hotel is situated right on the water, right at a water taxi station, with a view of Venice just across the bay. The staff was unbelievable, they just couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is old but very clean and comfortable and just adorable. The pictures you see on their web site are exact. We had a balcony room with Venice just across the bay and at nights the lights of Venice were spectacular. The hotel was also just a block from Lido Beach so that was an added bonus. The breakfast buffett that came with the price of the room was the best I have ever experienced, and they had a staff that served you. All in all this is the best stay at a hotel I have ever had. This hotel was perfect and much more than I ever expected. I will definetly go back and recommend this hote to anyone going to Venice..
Everything! We had awesome views from our balcony. The room was large and comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect. The staff was so helpful, they even looked up and printed a train schedule that we needed. The restaurant was excellent and the waiters were superb! I can't say enough about our stay there. The showers were small. But, we always had hot water.
The location of hotel is excellent with beautiful lake views and close to ferry and bus stop. It is definately worth it to request a lake view room. Room size is spacious. Three flights of big stairs to room, but not a real problem because we were fit.
Beautiful views of Lake Como, and easily accessible transportation and shopping nearby. Restaurants aplenty.
The Staff at the Hotel were very friendly. The standard of food in the restaurant was excellent, it was expensive but did a €22 special menu which was good value. The breakfast was simple but good with very nice coffee! In summary excellent price, brilliant location!!! The rooms could maybe be updated a little but it all adds to the character of the hotel!
Best location!!! A very basic hotel with clean rooms and a comfortable bed with a helpful staff. Breakfast was very good.
Very good value for the price. Not the nicest hotel in Bellagio, but definitely good for the price.
From the photos of the rooms I reserved a junior suite and requested a lake view or balcony. For €115 a night we got a very spacious room with a view of the lake and a balcony big enough to host two chairs in front of the geraniums. Unusually for Italy our suite had (newly refinished) hardwood floors. The bathroom was spacious, with a bidet even, although not with a shower curtain over the narrow, long tub. For me, who wanted a little respite after a week and a half of historical sites, this was the perfect place to sit back, relax and not do anything but maybe take a stroll, boat trip, or gaze in the beautiful windows or while away an afternoon in the sun.
The outstanding view on the lake, the friendliness of the staff.
Spectacular location. Friendly, welcoming staff. Free, ample car parking
The view cannot be described with words, probably the best spot in the lake como area
The panorama is truly outstanding and the rooms were fine. the staff were very nice and helpful. If going to Bellagio you need to decide between staying on the lake or above the lake at Il Perlo. We felt staying above the lake and looking down was a superior option. Nothing but I would not stay here without a car. It is theoretically possible to walk to and from Bellagio to town but only on a very narrow 2 direction road that has no pedestrian foot path. Unsafe and unenjoyable. Il Perlo will drive you but this is obviously somewhat less convenient. If you have a car don't stay anywhere else.
The view from the hotel patio is amazing! Very romantic and a gorgeous place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff were most helpful & there was an option to eat an 'snack' at the hotel if you were too tired to venture out for dinner. We did not have a vehicle and so used this option a couple of times.
Location was above the actual village of Bellagio with spectacular views. We had an "apartment". Large upstairs great room with bedroom and bath below.
The room was warm. Breakfast.
The view of Lake Como is magnificent and staff were very warm and friendly.
Extraordinary hotel, with excellent, friendly and helpful staff. We have sincerely enjoyed warmness and nice service provided. The hotel room had great view over Como lake. I will be coming to this hotel without doubt many more times! all was great
Herlig utsikt, pent opparbeidet uteområde med kjempefint basseng. Hyggelig personale og alt i alt en veldig fin atmosfære på hotellet.
Vennlig betjening, god utsikt og fin beliggenhet
Very service minded staff. Clean room. Nice view over Lake Maggiore due to the location on the hill surronding the town center. Not suitable for people with disabilities due to 10 min walk in stairs down to city.
