I enjoyed the scenery with all the extra amenities! We were grateful for not having to go out on the town and place ourselves in a precarious situation! The local restaurant and bar greatly satisfied our pleasures! The comfort and relaxing atmosphere of our room made it for a romantic night! We highly recommend your facility and plan to make more future stays at your location! Thank you for exceeding our expectations !
The Omni is in an excellent location! Concierge staff and bellmen are terribly rude. They were having personal conversations and disregarded guests. The double beds were not queen size beds so they're small and uncodortable.
The location was awesome, the staff was super friendly and very accommodating, the room was clean and had an amazing view of downtown. Overall it was perfect for a couple of girlfriends and I to getaway and explore austin. One thing that I didn't like was that the pool was extremely crowded every day and night that we were there. There was barely room to get IN the pool (you were pretty much shoulder to shoulder in there) let alone find a chair to relax on because they were all taken. We were really excited about the pool too but turns out it wasn't so relaxing. That's my only complaint tho, this hotel was amazing so I can't blame everyone wanting to be there and to enjoy the pool as well.
Hotel decor was contemporary & swanky. Hotel & pool area are overcrowded with 20-30 yr olds partying in Austin for the weekend. Spa is very disappointing. It was very obviously an afterthought. Bed linens were not what JW brand is supposed to provide - they were Courtyard level (check the tags!)
We came for my 21st birthday on 6th street and I can't imagine picking a better place. They did everything they had to do to keep it classy and cool headed as it's located on one of the busiest and most popular tour attractions in Texas. We only live 45 mins away but Austin is my go to. I LOVE it there. I had friends come up and get ready in the room and hang out before and a little afterwards but only 4 of us stayed in the room and it was everything I could have asked for and more!!! The "haunted" back ground give this place an edge and with the timelessness of the Titanic, it makes the Driskill a MUST DO in terms of staying ATX. 10/10 recommend. Nothing- I would change nothing
The valet was torn up with construction. The lobby and hallways literally smelt like a sewer. The mezzanine was stacked with old furniture. The once famous bar was loud noisy and also smelt like a sewer. The bathroom had chipped paint and a cracked floor length mirror. There was no counter space in the bathroom. The glass top furniture had dried paint drops on top from lack of a drop cloth.
Amazing staff and perfect location. We will be going back.
Location was good. A walk to downtown and south congress. Tv was broken, couldn't watch it. The bathroom was old feeling. Not what you would expect for $300/night.

My husband, two kids (5 years and 2 1/2 years old) and myself took a vacation to Austin, Texas for a couple of days and we decided to stay at the Four Seasons. Because there is construction going on City side of the hotel, we upgraded to a Lakeview Suite. The Lakeview suite was double the money and then some -- but we figured, Hey, we are on vacation and for that price, this has got to be luxurious. Well, I'm sorry to say that I was very disappointed with both the size and the look of the suite. It was much smaller than I anticipated and the furnishings were very basic. Just a basic pull out sofa -- no frills at all. The bathroom was very small and very plain looking. My husband and I have travelled a lot before and this room was most definitely not worth the price tag. That being said, everything else, and I mean everything, was superb. The service was incredible, everyone was polite and we were all treated like celebrities. Honestly, the staff is wonderful and made us all as comfortable as possible. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the pool was very relaxing and there was plenty of room to sit and sun. I also got a massage at the spa and it was fantastic -- except the head rest was extremely uncomfortable on my forehead and gave me a tremendous headache for hours afterward. It kind of ruined the great massage. So, if you use the Spa -- tell the masseur about this. The staff were absolutely fantastic with our children and the hotel is very very kid friendly. My advice: do not waste your money on a suite -- just get a basic room. I wish we had.
I attended a conference at this hotel, so the rate was much below market rate. I upgraded from a Cityview room to a Lakeview room. The two rooms are identical, the only difference is the view, so decide if the view is worth the extra. In my case, I thought it might be quieter facing the lake, and it gave me a fabulous view of the bridge where the famous Austin bats emerge each night. The room was attractive and comfortable. I liked that the small fridge in the room containing items you have to pay for could be emptied out and filled with my own items. Room service charges were exhorbitant: $ total for a salad with seared chicken on it, and the greens were not fresh by the time I got the meal. Outside of meals provided by the conference, I didn't eat at the hotel. Service was wonderful. One weird thing is that they don't put a book in your room acquainting you with the locations of all their services (pool, spa, ice machines, etc.) When I asked about it, the desk clerk immediately and cheerfully offered to escort me around the hotel showing me where everything was, which was nice, but not what I wanted. I loved the robe they provided, and the bath amenities were wonderful. Housecleaning staff were great, turndown service every night also good. They didn't have an option to re-use the towels, I wish they'd do that to save water. Speaking of which, the water pressure was insanely good. Can't imagine how much water they're using daily in a desert environment. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again, but not if I have to pay full freight myself.
I was somewhat disapointed in my stay at Four Seasons Austin. I expected it to be a wow hotel and it was just nice. Very expensive when there were lots of other good places nearby for less. the hotel charged for wi-fi, come on ! You could get it for free at coffee shops now. Cheap! Up graded to balcony room on river view side, you could only stand on balcony! No chair or table, no room for one! What was the point? Staff was friendly, everyone in Austin was friendly. room was clean, I expect that in a good hotel. Spa was okay, not very inviting, small bad view. I would not bother to stay here again. Not up to par with other Four Seasons I've been to, not worth the price.
The Four Seasons Austin is a magical place. The building and grounds are the best of the best. Austin is a beautiful city and the Four Seasons helped us to enjoy and experience this great city. We asked the Concierge what there was to do in Austin. He told us that he might be able to get us tickets to see Wicked. He did. The performance was sold out and was truely amazing. As great as the hotel was, the staff were even better. Why do we like the Four Seasons so much--because the staff provide a level of service that we experience no where else. My wife told me that they made her feel like the most important person in the world. We want to go back to Austin, to spend more time at the Four Seasons and to spend more time in this very special city.
I was expecting to be wowed at the four seasons, particularly given the price. I found the hotel to be nothing special. Everything was just ok. The staff was friendly, but then again, everyone in Austin is friendly. I could not believe they charged for wi-fi. That was really a cheap move. The spa was alright, small with not much atmosphere. The entire experience was just alright. I did feel a bit ripped off for the price. The are many hotels in the area for substantially less money with the same features. I would explore other options if I return.
Horrible stay overall given that this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel which it is NOT. It has one outdoor pool which is off the other side of the hotel and barely heated for our stay. Spa also terrible with no whirlpool, sauna. Only a small steam room in each locker room. Room and view were nice in downtown Austin, but that is about it. No tennis courts nor golf and only 3 or 4 spa treatment rooms. Gym area pointless with only a few treadmills and free weights. Will not stay again given price and lack of amenities. How is this 5 star??? not a typical four seasons for sure!!
Beautiful, chic, modern and clean hotel in fantastic location surrounded by bars and restaurants in downtown Austin. Half of the staff were extremely helpful and the other half were either no where to be found or extremely uninterested in assisting with anything you needed.
Beautiful room, view, facilities Construction pounding all morning, room never cleaned!
I liked how close it was to 6th street and the shuttle van that was able to take us for free. Also the drinks and snacks the hotel had for the guest. I didnt like that the courtyard wasnt open and under contstruction
My suite had a leak in the roof. I was moved into a small, dimly lit room for the same rate at 11 o'clock at night.
I was able to book the room right before KW Mega Camp at a great rate. It's right next to the Convention center and close enough to 6th Street. It could have come with a fridge instead of having to request it and bottled water.
Double charged me.
Location, location, location. Dirty Sixth was super accessible. The furniture was a bit dirty. The refrigerator, for example, was super filthy, like it hadn't been cleaned.
No phone in room. Smelly hotel throughout. Dirty elevators and one no in service. No dishes in room have to go to front to pick up. Location was great! Clubs are walking distance.
