Very friendly staff, owners take personal interest in the hotel affairs including making sure that the guests try local delicacies. Staff was very friendly everywhere.....reception/bfast/dinner. One of the best places that we stayed in swiss. We also got free travel passes for the two night stay in St Moritz.
Friendly reception staff and wonderful breakfast lady.Reasonably sized room and nice view from room window. Lack of tea & coffee making facilities in the room.
The staff and location were great
The hotel room was sensational, great comfort beds, deep bath, nice restaurant and you could use all the areas for internet access as well as the room Nothing
Central location, drink voucher upon arrival, friendly staff Bed was a bit hard
the attention that i received from all the staff including mr and mrs hauser i like everything
Friendly staff and good location and nice breakfast.
Very good design and view
clean toilet and clean room smell of new wood furniture
Excellent staff and warm and genuine welcome. Arrive in St Moritz early and staff were kind enough to allocate a room immediately. Quality accommodation and breakfast was excellent. Enjoyable stay. Menu was limited and expensive but appreciate that this is St Moritz and things are expensive. Quality of food was good nevertheless.
Friendly and very helpful staff. Beautiful room. Restaurant on premises. Convenient to rail station. NO NOTHING
The hotel is ideally situated and comfortable and clean and the food in the bar was excellent with a very good atmosphere. The young girl behind the bar was so friendly and helpful and made our stay even nicer.
We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at the Station Hotel which is very new and modern--an excellent facility with a good restaurant serving delicious pizza and salad. Well equipped bathroom and reasonably sized. Friendly staff. Good base from which to tour St Moritz.Parking is convenient with elevator access direct to your floor. I thought a train was coming through the room when the fan came on in the bathroom. Room was a tiny bit tight for space, nothing serious.
Directly across from railway station; moderate uphill walk to town center front desk was not continually staffed; no lobby computer for guests' use
The breakfast included fried eggs that were extremely tasty. The location is superb as it is directly across from the train station. I felt the price of the hotel was a bit steep at $190 CHF
Very friendly staff. I had to leave the hotel very early morning and a staff (middle aged woman with black hair) kindly prepared a breakfast box for me the last night. Internet connection is perfect in the room.
Modern clean room. Adequate furniture and equipment(particularly an excellent shower facility). Restaurant could be improved in terms of quality/price.
Facilities in the room, especially the bathroom and shower. Furniture handmade in local style, using recycled timber. Location of the hotel was good, near the station, though about a ten minute walk uphill to the town centre of Pontrsina. Location excellent for walking, horse-drawn coach trips to the Morteratsch Glacier, and for access to the railway.
Main reason is close to train station and very helpfull staff (Ms. Mauch, black hair lady), cleanness & comfort, would stay again. Nothing dislike.
We enjoyed the location, our clean, comfortable, beautiful room, the design of the restaurant, the food was great! My daughter loved the bunny and rocking horse. Staff were very pleasant. No
The room was clean and the staff were excellent providing very good service which will be long remembered. Some clearer directions from the train station to the escalators to the town center would have saved us the steep long walk looking for the hotel.
Central location, cheap internet connection for a whole week. Faded room
The hotel staff is superb. The city is lovely.
The staff there were very friendly and considerate.
Very friendly staff. Lovely room and hotel, delicious breakfast, very cozy and well maintained, close to everything. It is an uphill climb from the train station. We had a good map, but it might be hard to find without it. I would encourage others to look for the bus to take you close to the hotel.
Nice breakfast with beautiful view.
We arrived earlier than check-in time, but staff welcome us and keep our luggage while we hiked mountain and put them in our room when we came back hotel. Hotel doesn't have a transfer service from to station, therefore it was a little hard for us to bring our luggage from station to hotel, because hotel location is upper side of station. But staff friendly call taxi for us when we check-out.
Warm welcome and ability to check in earlier than expected. Free parking available. No hairdryer in room.
The hotel is in the centre of St Moritz Dorf. Plenty of restaurants near by. Mountain railway leading up to Piz Nair was only 200 metres away. Room was comfortable and breakfast was fine. Coffee was excellent! Nothing really. It was what it said on the advert. There is no bar or restaurant in this hotel.
Good, old fashioned. Good size bath & bedroom. Local travel card given was fantastic. Nothing
I would like tea/coffee facilities in the rooms.
Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast, though included was very basic.
Only the price> Extremely plain and simple. Out of way from anything>
cozy and very nice restaurant it does not has internet in the rooms
hotel had a reasonable restaurent appeared to be pricier
Excellent location , clean and modern rooms, and friendly staff.
very good pizzeria with excellent prices
Good location close to what we wanted to be near Staff was not particularly friendly; room was small and not great value for the price, considering the time of the year. The hotel was advertising cheaper rates than what we paid through this booking, which was not good
Good central location , good facilities for bikers
Awesome views. Good spa facilities. Beds a touch uncomfortable.
clean comfortable with great views there really isnt a swimming pool, a plunge pool at best
Front desk staff did not seem to like the English very much - the couple checking in before us (German) were given a description of all amenities, breakfast times etc etc and yet were were not told anything without asking specific questions - maybe I should learn German?
Hotel Randolins has beautiful scenery surrounding it. There are hiking trails a little further up the mountain that lead to some amazing views of the mountains and natural landscape. We were also very impressed with the breakfast buffet. The beds were a little uncomfortable. Also, in the wellness center the hot tub was not very hot.
Excellent hotel, fantastic view from the rooms. Great location , quiet lovely , cleanliness , facilities, great restaurants. None
the location near by the railway station was perfect for us and the view from our room-terrace to the lake & mountain was beautiful. My husband was impressed with the whisky selection
At breakfast, our table was asigned to the table that is located at teh worst position of dining room although we were the first guest. Our table was teh most far from window and near by staff door. I have no idea why we had to be treated like this. May be due to price from this web?
The managment and all the hotel staff have excelent quality Restaurant food is excelent no
This is probably the nicest *** hotel in Switzerland. The view of the lake is outstanding and the service was very, very good. The location is within easy walking distance of the rail station, but the hotel has shuttle service for guests. The restaurant is very good and has a terrific view of the lake.
Spacious room equipped with a good shower. Outstanding view from hotel room of lake and mountains. The bed had a heavy duvet which might not suit everyone as it was quite warm!
The view from our room was wonderful. The food and hotel pleasant but overpriced. Pillows were not comfortable
Restaurant food and staff were excellent. I booked the shuttle bus for 8:30am departure in order to catch 9am train but shuttle bus took other group instead! We almost missed our reserved train and were very annoyed that the young girl working at the reception did nothing to help without my prompting. Other than this, everything was excellent.
Very good location: one of the very few hotels on the lake, and just 15 minutes of walking distance from the town's center. Very nice view from the rooms (whose with view on the Lake, while the others have practically no view at all). VERY nice breakfast buffet, with fresh and tasty food. VERY nice bartender, with a great sense of humor and funny manners. GOOD prices for the drinks in the room's minibar (just CHF 2.50 for a soft drink). Absolutely NO WELCOME policy. At the reception we were treatet as we would bother the hotel's staff with our stay. Nobody showed us the room or took care of the luggage. A young girl at the reception desk said that since we booked by www.booking.com with very cheap prices we cannot expect a nice room. The room was terribly small, the bathroom was so uncomfortable that we couldn't even move in it. Be bed unconfortable and small. In fact, they gave us a single room with 2 beds. I asked to chance it, and when I saw the alternative (even worse) I decided to keep the previous one. At the check-out nobody asked us if we were satisfied. In fact the staff didn't absolutely care about us. I payed CHF 280.- for 1-night. Big mistake. Never again.
The view was absolutely amazing and the hotel was well located. The restaurant was extremely expensive.
Friendly staff and good breakfast. Roomy apartment.
Friendly staff, ask for room 44, which is a cute newly refurbished one bedroom appartment set 2 minutes from the main hotel building.
Hotel staff (in fact the same gentleman responsible for both - breakfast and reception) was very friendly and ready to help. In fact it is he who made our stay more or less remarkable. Free parking is also an advantage. Well... It is more a hostel than a hotel (communal areas, shared bathrooms etc.). There was no any soap or shampoo, shame on them! The furniture is outdated and in general the room was rather shabby. No elevator. The view from the windows was awful: two constraction sites nearby. It may be good for skiing (not very sure), but not to see the town... And the price was really expensive (however, one of the cheapest I had found in St-Moritz)! Little value for money.
The furnishing style that is very comfortable and lovely.. we feel like staying at home, also the staff of the hotel is very kind and helpful A little bit far from the bus stop, if walking without any luggages, it is ok but with luggages, it takes almost 15-20 minutes and very tired.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, cheap rate
Terrible, it's never worther the money. by the way, it's not a hotel, it's a hostal at most, however, it charges very much(for me 122 HFCs for 1 night), just 2 shabby beds + 1 small desk, strong smell of old furnitures and mold. the reception lady was very unfriendly Not at all
We were very pleased with the facilities in our studio room and the quality of the breakfast. None!
The hotel staff, which fortunetely the owner (I believe) was very good and very helpful, hotel has large free parking facility for guest. Room was in one building together with printing company which smells solvent vapor.
The concierge was helpful, friendly. Could use an elevator.
the brekafast could be better, more choice
The location was great. Number 1 bus takes you to the hotel. It took only 10 minutes. The staff were super nice. Breakfast was wonderful you can even have free coffee in the evening :-) Location was great. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were so nice.
To expensive in relation to the room
Very helpful and attentive staff. Bathrooms are in the 50s style (very old fashioned).
Great staff, close to everything
very nice position of the hotel, in Pontresina. Extremely nice staff.
Nicely located in the center of Pontresina. Good Breakfast Buffet. Excellent Restaurant. Use of the big indoor/outdoor swimming pool of Pontresina was included. Ideal to relax after a day of hiking in the mountains. Has a garage.
Cosy, beautiful view, nice rooms Toilet
The staff is efficient, friendly, and helpful. The dining is excellent. The room was large and clean, and my top floor room had a great view of the Alps. The hotel facilities Re nice including a large check-in area, comfortable lobby, and friendly bar. The overall feeling of the hotel is warm and inviting. My sons and I have come here twice to ski at St. Moritz, and will come again. I love the staff and hotel. +41818393434
Nice and practical location, you can leave the car and go walking or by cableways, buses, trains, everywhere, Simple yet confortable and complete hotel lorganization, Beautiful view of mountains and village. Furniture is 60's 70's style and old, but not worn out.. Optimistically it could become a kind of vintage.. The smell in the garage is not.. "reassuring".
Hotel Schweizerhof Pontresina was excellent. The staff were very very good and very professional. Everything in the hotel met our expectations , cleanliness, serice and food.. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would enjoy another visit.
Staff was very friendly! Excellent diner in the restaurant.
Hotel staff are helpful and efficient. Rooms are clean and well equipped for this class of hotel. Good information and advice on mountain walks available. Enjoyed the food - especially the game meat.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Food and SPA were wonderfull. Very quiet and perfect suittable for family stay.
Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast included, immaculately clean, use of spa nearby - exceptional. I will return!
The food and service. Definitely add the half-board option (35 CHF) if you stay here. Gay-friendly.
Very nice staff, very nice location /
Exceptional service. Very good breakfast buffet. Free Access to spa in adjoining hotel. I had a Clean Cheery (but small) single room with very nice LCD TV. Shared bath facilities are very clean and new/modern. I stayed there to rest from the Bernina express bus/train trip. Pontresina is a tiny town in the mountains and location is good for bikers, hikers, outdoor activities.. No free wifi internet in rooms. free access at single terminal near lobby. Not inexpensive, so no great bargain, -good/fair value. Perhaps excellent value if you use spa/pool next door.
The desk manager was very helpful regarding transportation schedules. The breakfast was excellent. The use of the spa next door was wonderful. Our room had low wooden beams that created some problem moving around.
very clean. nice reception staff
The hotel is quite cozy and comfortable and clean with an excellent restaurant. The breakfast buffets were plentiful and delicious and the one evening I had dinner there it was very good. I really enjoyed the spa facilities with the steam and sauna rooms and the pool after long days of hiking and the hotel is situated just steps away from the bus stops that bring you to the gondolas one needs to take to hike. The Engadin card that all the hotels in the area give to guests are a big moneysaver as they allow guests unlimited use of all the gondolas, buses and trains in the region at no cost. I believe this saved me almost $200 in just a few days. The shared bathroom was a long hallway away from my room which was a little inconveniently far after showering or first thing in the morning when in various states of undress. But, it was always spotless.
next to cable station n 3 min walk to lake
Nolda hotel was very homely and comfortable
This hotel was our favorite during our short stay in Switzerland recently. We liked the decor, the cleanliness, the Southern exposure of our room, the gurgling stream outside our window, the tinkling of cowbells in the night, the nice breakfast buffet in the beautifully-furnished dining area w, the overall rustic look and intimacy of a charming smaller hotel. Everything appeared to be brand new. When we needed a lift to the railroad station, we were immediately accommodated by a courteous staff member and were at the station in 5 minutes. Staff members were helpful and pleasant in providing info on how to get around. The price was the most we paid while in Switzerland, but the St. Moritz area seems to demand higher prices than elsewhere. It would have been nicer to be a little closer to downtown, but I understand the price would probably been higher if that were the case. It was about a twenty-minute walk to downtown; but, then, we wouldn't have heard cowbells if we had been in the downtown, would we? We enjoyed the walk back and forth. The cost of the hotel shuttle to the station was 5 Swiss francs each. The city bus charged 3 francs each, and the driver wasn't sure of the location, but he got us there, eventually. The hotel shuttle is a better option.
spacious room very comfortable with beautiful views of the mountains.
People ware friendly everithing OK
It's a very comfortable Hotel with a personal touch, so you feel very much at home.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is an excellent and welcoming atmosphere is the hotel. Makes it easy to relax and enjoy the mountains.
Great service. Real value for money. None
Beautiful location, simple but adequate dormitory style rooms, excellent breakfast with fresh, warm bread.
The rooms are not too bad The hotel is too far away from the city, It's located in the middle of nowhere, but a beautiful middle of nowhere though, If you stay there longer than a couple of days the lack of a place to cook is really annoying because you have to spend a lot of money in restaurants
comfort of the room the distance of the hotel from the city.
Great value, basic comfortable accomodation and a good breakfast
Clean, spacious room They promise to pick us at train station, but when we arrived, suddenly they said can only pick us before 8 pm!!
the value for money. If the purpouse is skiying with friends, it´s perfect.
friendly staffs and clean WC and showers. Nice sceneries around the hotel was nice as well. travel to the train station and city area is a headache
Breatfast was good, warm bread, nice meat and fruit. Seperate shower room is also good condition. Playground outside dorm is very nice. Glacier mountain is just in front of us, when open the window of our dorm. We booked this hostel knowing that they provide pick up from train station as thier location is far away from the train station. Also in their website it said they provide car pick up. but, maybe because we were late (our train arrived at 21:05pm), I was told by the hostel staff that the last pick up is at 20:30pm, and we have to take a taxi which should cost us around 20chf, but in fact, the taxi costed us 32chf. We should have booked hostel/hotel near train station. The face of one of the female middle-age staff was very cold, no smile at all. We have asked her for check out, but she still started to clean up the table, and let me wait for at least 3minutes. No sense of service. While the other female staff was quite supportive.
What a gem!! We arrived at the train station at 7pm (-10C) and called the hotel and a bus came to pick us up. A short 10 minute drive to Randolins and what a lovely surprise we had. The accommodation is lovely and very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was great and food was delicious as was breakfast which was included in the price. The staff were very warm and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay, just sorry it was only for 1 night. Heating was very good. Bus took us back to the train in the morning to catch the Glacier Express. Highly recommend this accommodation if you can't afford the pricey hotels in St Moritz.
