The staff is great and very helpful. They provided us with very detailed info/map about what to visit and are very friendly.
Small family run hotel, close to the metro station (for those coming from the airport) in a 10-15 min distance to the city centre. Seemed to be a safe place, didn’t have any problems by coming home late at night. The room wasn’t that fancy, but clean and comfortable. Great price for value, excellent place to stay for those who are spending more time in the city, rather than in a hotel. Big thanks to the owners, their advices helped much more than any touristic book.
Welcoming and nice staff. Clean. Not so far from city center. It is okay for couple of days, if one doesn't look for luxury. Cold (no heating). No elevator.
The owners of the hotel were extremely helpful, giving us information about the cityand transportation. also, the hotel is in a great location, near a metro station
Very friendly and helpful staff - a lot of good advices and interesting information about Porto. Standard good for this price. We had room at the back, so it was quiet.
Great breakfast Was a bit out of town but still only 5eur to get anywhere
receptionist was nice to us Poor location as it was noisy at night. No lift, only stairs. Quite a walk to city centre
In a surprisingly good location. Pretty central to the main sites given the cheap price. Bathroom was very cramped. Directions were not clear.
Stuffs of this Hostel was so kind.It was nice place for sightseeing.
Location, it is in the perfect center for walking to the river. You can have a full meal in the neighborhood where the hotel is located for about 5Euros! The hotel itself was terrible. A foul odor in the room, you had to almost get in the bathtub to close the bathroom door, the seat on the toilet was hanging off, no shampoo, bad lighting. Definitely a 1 star hotel worth about 20E a night.
it was very cheap and the location was good the bed was uncomfortable, and they had lost my booking but they were very pleasant
the room was quite spacy for 3 people. Beds were comfortable, room was quiet and clean, bathroom clean. Possibility to use kitchen and small diner. Great location, 5min walking form cathedral and Luis I bridge. Parking available. Very nice staff, speaking english very well. No AC.
The location is very close to all main city attractions, and next door there are couple of stores and café-bars, the view from the terrace on my 4 floor was terrific. The stuff was very friendly, even if not of them spoke English, everyone wanted to help. it was an odd situation when after first night the room was supposed to be cleaned, but when i came back, not much was done, but i found a cigarette butt in the toilet. and mind that there is a school in front of the hotel, so the first school bell rings at 9.
the location they only spoke portugese. the window led to the kitchen, so you could not open it there was no airco or possibility to fresh air our room was in the middle of the kitchen/living room, so we woke all night due to doorbells, internet games, talks etc. however they were friendly and tried to help.
Good location. Not clean, very old and not confortable beds. Really there is no reall kitchen, only common fridge and microwave. Even hot water for the tea we had to make in the microwve...
