Fordeler: After a long tiring train journey this hotel was an oasis of calm and comfort. It is beautifully appointed and immaculately clean throughout. The bedroom was spacious and well equipped with a very comfortable bed. The roof terrace is an absolute gem with stunning views over Turin and the hills beyond - a lovely spot to sit and relax over a drink. Staff couldn't have been more attentive or helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet

Fordeler: This is a high-end hotel right across from Torino Puerto Nuovo train station. We had a lovely little balcony with a small table and 2 chairs. It was nice to sit outside. The room had a huge closet and was spacious overall. Everything was comfortable and a bit luxurious. The sights most people will want to see are a 1-2 mile walk or a short tram ride, though the tram ride back is more convoluted. Definitely recommend Turin Palace Hotel.

Ulemper: No disappointments to list here.

Fordeler: Fine modern hotel next to the Porta Nuova railway station. Huge rooms. As big as any outside of Singapore. Windows you could open! And they had blankets on the bed!!!! This is now almost unheard of, hotels only providing duvets. In a properly heated and insulated room, these are too hot in winter. In summer, they are absurd. I have mentioned this many times before and now the Palace Hotel Turin has finally heard my cry. Hotel land, are any of you listening? Modern showers are now only at the whim of some fabulous designer and, therefore, not for the use of mere mortals like us. This was complicated, but once we had worked it out it worked fine. Recommendations of the Reception staff of restaurants were splendid. Thank you Loredana and Alessia. Alessia even asked us what we ate. How Italian! The hotel even provided us with a small box of macaroons the evening we arrived. The minibar, soft drinks only, was free. This is a terrific hotel. Ideal for a stopover on long train journeys.

Ulemper: Beautiful Italian design and engineering, but everything was a bit quirky. The light switches took five seconds to turn on and off; the room cards took five seconds to respond when inserted in the slot; the lifts took five seconds before they started moving; the air conditioning was a little temperamental, but there was nothing really wrong. The pillows and there were dozens of them of all shapes and sizes, were not comfortable.

Ulemper: A few minor issues such as the shower was both outdated and needed the grout recleaning as had gone yellow in places with A build up of cal. Unable to change the language of tv programmes back into English.

Fordeler: The staff were incredibly kind. After telling the staff we were expecting a baby this week, they surprised us with a beautiful gift in our room for our baby. A beautiful thought.

Fordeler: What s lovely hotel: in spite of size a welcoming ambiance; room clean and comfortable; breakfast good variety and relaxed; close to piazzas with cafes and restaurants; also hotel supports the archeological gardens opposite.

Ulemper: The interior is very stylish with wooden steps and landings/railings going up to 5th floor. Lifts were brilliant but impossible to avoid the view of the drop and for two old ladies with fear of heights was a little unnerving.

Fordeler: My favorite part was the spacious walk-in shower with two rain showers and a sprayer—and most importantly, a non-slip floor. Our room looked out on a large light well, not pretty, but very light, and extremely quiet.

Ulemper: The rack for the suitcase had a shelf above it that my husband banged his head on. The bed was a bit hard, but I realize that that is a matter of taste.

Fordeler: At the Center, very convenient.

Ulemper: Terrible breakfast, so bad that you just WANT to go to the next bar. Bad bread, bad eggs, bad bacon, bad croissant, bad Ham, etc. Event the Coffe is Not worth it. I travel a lot, I have Nevers Seen such a Lack of quality. Totally inacceptable for a four stars hôtel !

Fordeler: A nice continental breakfast with a couple of warm dishes. Room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Good shower and spacious bathroom. Staff were really helpful, spoke great English and helped us organize our day's outing.

Fordeler: Breakfast was good - cakes, croissants (filled, empty), scrambled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, cold meats & cheeses - but it didn't change much. Good light control, comfy bed. It was great to have a reception desk.

Fordeler: The location was great, very close to all the major points of interest. It was pedestrian only zone so no traffic noise. The room was very quiet so conducive to sleeping and relaxing. The room was pretty big for European standards with a sitting area and separate area for sleeping, plenty of closet space and room for luggage. The bathroom was also very spacious with a large shower with 2 rain heads. The staff did a very good job cleaning it daily. The breakfast buffet was very nice with a good variety of food items, nice selection of cold cuts, cheeses, fresh mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, scrambled eggs, cereal, fresh and canned fruits, yogurts, rolls and variety of delicious croissants, jams, nuts and some tasty cakes not to forget small packs of various snacks and of course various juices and tea and coffee served by the staff. One lady at the reception desk was particularly nice and the servers in the breakfast room.

Ulemper: Since the hotel doesn’t have its own parking, it was very difficult to find the parking garage close by. Before our arrival I sent a message via booking.com asking for information regarding parking options in the vicinity but I didn’t receive any reply. After driving around for an hour and asking several people, by pure luck we came across Santo Stefano parking garage, which was not far away. We were lucky again running into a very nice couple who helped us with locating our hotel. However, it’s not easy for seniors to get the luggage to the hotel. My husband had to make few trips and no assistance was offered. Also the mattress was a bit too hard for me to sleep but that’s subjective and others may like it.

Fordeler: It has the best location in Turin, i had amazing time with friends I think it was the best experience for me in Italy.

Ulemper: I was surprised by the Italian law of iron, i was shocked when the receptionist told me that I can't have an iron because it was by the law plus I wasn't informed earlier about it.

Ulemper: We had two suites. Both showers were problematic. One had no cold water hence the water was super hot and the other didn’t drain well. You had a pool of water after 5 minutes.

Fordeler: Walking distance from Station. Recently renovated. I had a lovely view if the city. Room sizes are just great. Wi-fi worked perfectly. Taxi's are stationed right actross the road.

Fordeler: The staff were amazing especially the team at the front counter they were so helpful in helping us with a day trip it was outstanding. No question was to much trouble.

Fordeler: The fitness room offers all you need for a work-out on a business trip. The breakfast options are wide and the quality is acceptable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Ulemper: I expected a slightly bigger breakfast option (I was missing vegetables). The wifi on my phone didn't work. Also an alternative wifi offered did not work. (They would have found a solution for me, but by then I wasn't in the mood anymore to spend additional time on fixing that.)

Fordeler: Enrico Masiero at the front desk has the most excellent customer service skills I have ever had the pleasure to experience. He was genuinely welcoming and made sure everything about our stay was excellent. The rooms are beautiful and this hotel is better than many 5 star hotels.

Ulemper: The owner, Giuseppe Borio, sits in main reception and is unfriendly and glares in a hostile and rude manner at guests. He ruins the ambience at the hotel and anyone encountering him will get a bad impression of this lovely hotel and it's superb staff. He made us feel very unwelcome and I hope his hostility was not driven by religious or ethnic prejudice.

Fordeler: Very convenient location - across the road from porta nova and in the beautiful resturant district. 15 min walk to piazza vittorio. Also liked the nice art deco style of the place. Would definitel stay again.

Ulemper: A liitle dark - the beds are not perfect - but acceptable

Fordeler: I love the fried pancetta for breakfast! The brightly lite bathroom and show cubicle were a good size providing comfort when using the facilities and enough towel hanging places. The beddings were of good quality and the room decor gives a feel of space. The location is within walking distance to places of interest. Staff were helpful and polite.

Ulemper: Based on the 6 other hotels I have stayed whilst touring Italy, I have nothing to complain.

The whole place has a slightly old fashioned feel to it but in a good way. The breakfast buffet provided a reasonable variety of both sweet and savoury items and we enjoyed being able to eat out on the terrace. Staff were helpful and efficient.

Fordeler: The Hotel is beautiful, and my room was nice and very spacious. The bed was a bit too firm for me, but other than that, it was lovely. The bathroom was nice and well equipped, The breakfast spread was wonderful, a very large and varied selection, including scrambled eggs and warm ham, which I didn’t find anywhere else in the 7 places I stayed in France and Italy on this vacation. The staff was helpful when I asked directions to places, and they let me store my luggage after check out. Additionally, the location right next to the train station was very convenient, and the airport shuttle is right across the square. It’s in a nice area with upscale shops.

Ulemper: The croissants and the baked cakes were not so good, dry, and a bit tasteless, but the other breakfast choices were good.

Fordeler: It’s so quiet its hard to believe that the hotel is located in such a busy area. The whole ambiance is wonderfully relaxing.

Fordeler: The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and i was able to rest. The breakfast was delicious.

Ulemper: The room furniture and the AC were a bit old and I my opinion need to be replaced. I didn't like the bed too much, the AC was making a lot of noise and wasn't too effective at a lower temperature.

Ulemper: The fact that most facilities were closed during summer. The airconditioning was right next to the bed. The room did not match what booking.com showed us.

Fordeler: Good hotel, very nice staff which spoke good English. Room was good, everything worked, lots of outlets, a big desk, a good hot shower. You can open some windows but the AC also worked, wifi worked well, there is a safe and a small fridge. Beds were comfortable. You can park your car for 19 euro a day in a closed-off garage, we could leave the car till 15:00 on the check out day which was great, they even cleaned the window shields which was a very nice gesture. A big lobby with lots of nice seatings to relax. Did not take the breakfast as we had no time. It will take you 10 minutes to reach the city centre and train station by foot. Can absolutely recommend.

For a group of Friends as we was this hotel is a good option.

Fordeler: The hotel was decent all around. The staff were very nice and responded to all needs. Bus station very close and you could buy the tickets at the reception. I went for a conference for 4 days and this hotel was suitable for me to come back and rest. The price was some of the cheapest I could find for a 3-star hotel and I feel like I got the value for money. All in all this was a good choice for me.

Ulemper: The food at breakfast wasn't the best, but acceptable nonetheless. Not much of a view outside the room, but wasn't really an issue for me. The internet in the room was ok, although not very high speeds.

Area is a little down market, but hotel is great, and only a short walk to centre of town too. Good choice of food at breakfast.

Great location in a hip area of Turin - access to a lovely urban park, excellent restaurants, gelaterias, etc. Would have loved to stay longer and explore the area. Stayed in two different rooms on two different stays. Both were simple but nice - try to get one with a balcony overlooking the central courtyard. Travel guides for dozens and dozens of countries!

Ulemper: A bit warm during my visit and the room didn't have A/C. Had fan blasting most of night to make up for it. Communal kitchen is a nice touch but unfortunately it's in the basement so it's a bit dreary. More breakfast options at the cafe would be nice - right now it's mostly toast, muesli, coffee, and the like.

Fordeler: The staff was very kind! Loved it!

Fordeler: It's really lovely place for single tourist - staff is really king and welcoming, hostel is located in safe area close to the main railway station and main attractions. There are many good restaurants in the neighbourhood. My room was very quiet, with a small balcony. It was clean, it was obvious that it wasn't renovated for a while, but still ok! It was cleaned on daily basis- for such a price bargain! Breakfast is served in the bar (it's Italian breakfast), not included in hotel price, but of good value.

Fordeler: Staff was wonderful, location couldn't be beat. Value for money better than any of the other hotels in Turin no doubt.

Ulemper: It can get hot in Turin! Would be nice if the hotel provided or at least rented out fans for hot evenings.

Fordeler: The mattress was stiff enough and the bathroom clean. The personnel as good tips about the bars and restaurants around.

Fordeler: Nice little place, easily reached from Torino P. N. railway station. Great and friendly staff (the lady on duty both at 11pm and 8am was amazing!) and a comfortable area too. Would definitely recommend

Ulemper: The place had a slightly musty smell to it, and towels were not really very good at all. Also lighting was a bit feeble and the hallway noisy. These are only small issues though which we could accept for a night or two.

Fordeler: The rooms are amazing. Spacious, super clean and the mattresses are soooo comfortable. A big locker is at your disposal and a cute bar with a good variety on drinks and fresh made food. If you're lucky the chef is there (sorry, I forgot your name) and you get to try some of his delicious meals.

Fordeler: The local restaurant. The receptionist was helpful.

Ulemper: The area

Fordeler: The best hostel that I experienced here in Italy by far. Everything is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is great and everything is at a walking distance. Can't recommend it enough.

Fordeler: Honest and ethical!

Fordeler: All the staff are nice and helpful. The hotel room is clean and well-appointed. Breakfast is so yummy and muti-choices there!

Fordeler: Location is fantastic

Ulemper: It’s “tired” - no apparent investment for a very long time, thin, old mattress & pillows, sheets likewise seen a few years. The cleaners came at an ungodly hour - what’s the point of a 12:00 checkout if you’re awake at 07:00?? Very irritating. No real apology. Doors and walls very thin/lack sound proofing could hear every move next door and in the corridor.

Fordeler: Not much

Ulemper: The TV did not work. No help with luggage. Front desk staff not very friendly. The showercteay is old. We would have expected more for that sort of money.

Fordeler: Comfort and quality. Excellent breakfast. Professional and courteous

Ulemper: Didn't like the coffee at breakfast, could be a little stronger.

Fordeler: Stayed here a number of times and always pleased with rooms, service and breakfast

Fordeler: The breakfast was fantastic.

Ulemper: The shower and bathroom were difficult to use as it was a small bathtub.

Fordeler: Beliggenhet er helt ypperlig. Nært til alle fasiliteter.

Ulemper: Bodde på 5 etasje, og det var alt for varmt. Frokost kunne vært bedre, når det var tungt for maten ble det ikke fult på, brukte fat og kopper ble stående på bordet.

Fordeler: The staff at the reception was really great. The hotel location is perfect. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb!!!

Ulemper: Skulle gjerne hatt noen bord og stoler uten for hovedinngangen, slik at en kunne sette seg ute. Savna terrasse på rommet.

Fordeler: Great location and wonderful value for a family making a one night stop! Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Fordeler: Everything was perfect. The parking was convenient. Lifts are available. The room was very spacious and had good air conditioning. Beds were comfortable. We were on the 6th floor and had a lovely view over the Turin roof tops. Coffee making facilities and toiletries were excellent. Towels changed every day. Finally the breakfast was incredible for the price we paid. Would stay there again.

Ulemper: To reach piazza reale it takes about 20 minutes walk

Ulemper: The water in the shower was not enough and not very warm

Fordeler: I liked the hotel, it's good location (at a walking distance) from the center. I liked the clean room, and we even had a balcony. I wanted to be above the 2nd floor, and we were given the 5th one. I and my family liked very much my stay in this hotel. I liked also that we had a convinient and safe car parking. The hotel was renewed and it looked really new and clean. With new furniture.

Ulemper: I don't have remarks, except that I think there should be more fresh fruits on the breakfast.

Fordeler: Comfortable and clean hotel with paid underground parking. Close to the main train station and a short walk to the main shopping streets, restaurant and attractions. Junior suite was modern and spacious and perfect for a family stay.

Ulemper: Convenient and good value for money

Fordeler: Very nice room, ( nice decor)with mood lighting. Comfortable bed

Ulemper: Room was not so quiet. Doors to room should be heavier and windows not sound proof.( can hear road noise)

Fordeler: location (close to train station), huge bed, huge balcony, nice shower, tea and coffee facilities in the room, complimentary bottles of water, strong wifi (i was able to have a 2 hour zoom meeting with no difficulty), good breakfast

Fordeler: Great location right next to the main railway station. Friendly staff. 3 € breakfast is incredible value. Nice modern-ish room with air conditioning.

Ulemper: City tax 2,80 €/person was not included in the room price which felt almost like cheating.
