Staff was great. Super comfortable bed and room. Parking on site is $25 charge per day, this was not included in the cost of the room. The bathroom is also an odd design, the shower does not have a door or curtain.
Great staff. Clean. Outdated heating system. Was stuck on all night in one of our rooms. No air conditioning. Old bed linens. Frayed sheets.
The hotel is in a great location and upon entering all you see is a grand lobby decorated completely for Christmas. The checkin/check out process was incredibly easy and the staff was friendly. Even got a free upgrade on the room since we were there for only a night which was a huge and wonderful surprise. The room itself was clean and modern and the bed made me want to stay forever. The hotel offered complementary drinks at night which was a nice surprise and the morning breakfast was such a great experience as compared to other hotel's "breakfasts". Overall I would come back to this hotel every time I come to Portland.
Clean good complimentary breakfast and drinks Had to pay $10 for wifi $30 a night parking cable in room kept cutting out for our 2 night stay
This hotel maintains it older charm and the rooms have a more modern vibe. The beds were super comfortable and I actually slept well. Lots of USB charging ports built in and plenty of electrical outlets. Is a good overall stay for a vacation weekend or business trip. I felt like the staff could have been a little more engaging.
Location in the heart of Portland. Great lobby. Staff unhelpful. Reservation was cancelled when it shouldn't have been. Small beds and rooms. Bathrooms just okay. expensive for what you get.
excellent customer service. very accommodating. Extremely loud - the room above us and the people next door were very loud.
Hotel is always wonderful. Due to snow and ice storm I had to cancel. The hotel was fine with it. It was within their 24 hours. Unfortunately, the company I used on kayak stated I would have needed to cancel on the same date that I reserved!!!!! Are you kidding me? Don't reserve through them. They do not care what terms the hotel has.
People at Kimpton hotels are amazing across the board but we found the team at The Vintage to be especially kind and caring. From the front desk staff to the bartenders we had great conversations with each person we met and that made it feel so welcoming. We'll definitely be going back.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and spacious. The staff was courteous and helpful. The fitness center was disappointing in size and equipment available. It reminded me of fitness centers in 2 & 3 star hotels. On line it said there was a coffee/shop and bakery at the hotel and there were none. Online it also implies there was a spa but there was not. The front desk clerk said they could call someone off site to come to our room. One tiny window in the room. Paid approx $350 a night. Way too expensive for what it was.
We were in the middle of everything. Our rooms felt very homey. Our room was triangle shaped and the staff was a little short when we spoke.
Great location. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Clean. Pretty shabby. Tiny tiny room. Weird space. Seems like a very old property that needs to be updated.
Very nice atmosphere and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. It seemed like everyone was in a great mood. The facilities were also very clean and luxurious.
not much to like about this place. The hotel is outdated and is in need of upgrade. Not the friendliest staff at front desk. talked like robots reading from a script. You dont get much for the amount you pay for nightly stay. The internet is not included and you have to pay extra to use in the room. The place is centrally located in downtown Portland, so if you're there for business in downtown area, I guess it would be okay, but for leisure, its not the best place to stay. It didnt seem very safe to be out after dark, and not too many places are open late. A lot of panhandlers roam the streets around the hotel.
