Good location, about 30 minutes to the biggest mall by foot. Tv channels were ok. Fairly decent value for the money. Service was aweful. Staff did not speak good English. Other patrons were loud (playing music at 5am), and if that wasn't enough, there were chickens hollering around the clock. During my stay my room was cleaned only once. When I arrived I got no towels at all. There was free water in the room, but it was only lukewarm or burning hot as the cooler was broken. My door lock was constantly broken, and they said they would replace it(they didn't).
Accommodations are deluxe. Huge bathroom, kitchen, very comfortable bed, HBO, breakfast is huge and tasty. The pool is superb and there is even a tennis court although most of the time it is too hot to play. The place is laid out like a Balinese village with beautiful landscaping. Absolutely charming! Bumbu Bali, Bali's best restaurant is a five minute walk away. Sorry I could not take the cooking class (sold out)
This hotel was very affordable and close to a lot of restaurants and vendors and the beach but tucked away in an alley which made it relatively quiet (and HARD to find). The room is spacious and comes with a kitchenette (although the refrigerator was not plugged in so I don't know if it worked). was still nice to have the extra counter yet space. You even get a little drying room for your wet clothes! The staff are very flexible and seemingly warm (at least most of them) My tv was blurry, the toilet seat had a serious crack (forcing you to sit sideways), and the room did not come wth any soap. I don't need shampoo or any other toiletries... But at least provide little bar of soap for the bathroom sink. I arrived law and think I woke up a staff member who was sleeping behind the counter.... He looked dazed... Didn't say much to me at all. Just led me up to the room and left. Very minimal lodging but decent for the money and location. Would not stay there again.
