The luxury of the rooms and the servise Nothing
outstanding room interior. you feel like in opera house. advance twin option is extremely amazing with two floors and stylization for the opera balcony. BRAVO. liked everything.
This hotel offers nicely decorated rooms which are large by Italian standards. Its location, virtually behind the Scala, is perfect. Fairlly bad smell near the elevators on the ground floor. Attentiveness of breakfast room staff could improve.
The location is excellent: we walked to all main attractions and to train to Malpensa airport. Personnel is extremely friendly. Breakfast buffet was good, with live music on Sunday. The room was a good size and calm, with a very modern bathroom. We would go back any time.
The staff was friendly, efficient and accommodating. Overall Avery good value. Boutique hotels in Italy usually don't have gyms. Hotel Milano Scala is an exception. Unfortunately, their small gym has lame cardio equipment. Bring your trainers, hope for clear skies and jog around Parco Sempione.
Interier, design Toiletry Set (shampoo, lotion ...)
I liked the desing of the hotel - its so modern, and the large room with opera wallpapers was amazing. The staff is extremely helpful! And also breakfast was really good. The bathroom was quite strange: too large but not convinient. U dont have even a glass to put ur toothbrush. Also hotel is too modern and sometimes i needed extra explanation how to use facilities in the room. Unfortunately there were no info list in the room.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING Mold in room, blood stain on bathroom floor, broken shower, dirty furniture, noisy room and ridiculous staff.
Breakfast and gym All was good
Great location, very nice neighborhood. Sometimes staff was especially nice and helpful (e.g. loaning me a personal charger, comping some internet charges). Room was not huge but comfortable and clean. Room rate was very reasonable for the location and hotel. Overall I would stay here again. Some odd policies. If someone from the hotel is reading this I would say - please stop trying to "nickel and dime" your customers. The internet was 10 euros/day - but you had to get new codes every day (super annoying) and they charged you by device. I am traveling for business and had 4 devices I needed codes for (phone, personal iPad, work iPad, work laptop). Paying by each is outrageous, especially when its standard for internet to work for at least 3 devices. This is not 2002 guys. Also had a strange incident trying to borrow a fork and knife. I had gone to the grocery to get some fruit because I was feeling a little gross due to overload of pasta and meat the last week. They tried to charge me to borrow a fork and knife. I couldn't believe it. I have done this dozens of times at other hotels.
Very helpful, friendly English-speaking staff. Clean rooms, modern finishes, easy walking distances to most everything. Quiet. If you're looking for a spot with a buzzing lobby and lots of folks coming and going, this is NOT your spot -- it's a very boutique hotel, with a very small lobby that's hidden away on a side street (but very, very close to one of the main avenues). As a product of the building's location, the room was rather dark, with a lighting system that took no less than 15 minutes to figure out, and all the windows faced into narrow courtyards, so it didn't feel as airy as in some of the photos. The shower was separated from the rest of the room, behind only a glass door, so keep in mind that if you are sharing the room, it should be with someone you're comfortable with!
Good location. Staff at the desk were rude and deliberately misled us by showing us two rooms to choose from (huge differences) and then we were asked to pay an additional 30 Euros. Breakfast was a waste of money.
Location was great and the staff were excellent. I thought breakfast would be included but I had to pay extra! No robes in room which I would have expected
the location is excellent We found it too expensive
Central. Walking distance to castelli Sforzesco and Duomo. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
It was very convenience for everything (shopping, restaurant, tour meeting place....). Hotel stuff was very friendly. Little bit close to the street (street noise)
Breakfast is not well prepared , bread is to hard to eat Wifi is not free City tax is more than its hotel value Single room is too small Some bathrooms also very small There is no twins rooms at all The location of the hotel is hard to find
Good service, reasonable price, close to the Duomo Center & quite a cosy room.
The hotel is close to a metro station and to the main atractions of the city center. The staff were very nice and helpfull. The room was comfortable. The TV was really small. Everytime someone flushed the toiled in the neighbor room we could hear the noise as it was inside our room. It was a little bit annoying.
central ,Duomo toilet
The web site said that there's a shuttle to the Malpensa airport, however, it was 90 euros and not for free as I expected,
The charming staff was very friendly and offered advice on what to see and where to eat. The beds are tolarable, not very comfortable.
hotel stuff was very respectful and helpfull..also the location was perfect for us. old design and need to repair the showers
Location, staff. Nothing, everything was ok.
it is close to the shopping ara and sightseen places smoky room, shabby, old, dirty
The situation of the hotel is very good, it was the main choise for me The hotel needs some rebuilds: new pipes in the bathroom( so the water can easily flow), soundproof windows( so guess wont be forced to hear the garbage truck during the night and cars passing), and also the walls should be less thick, so guests wont be forced to hear the couple next door.
Beliggenheten og personalet var topp. Nei.
Hotell med bra beliggenhet nær La Scala og shoppingdistriktet.
Vennlig og hjelpsom resepsjon.
Very nice and comfortable hotel, just a short walk from the train station. Convenient when you fly from Malpensa. Nice and quiet location in the old town. I liked the decoration with wild animals on the. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
Veldig sentralt.
the staff was very nice, the location is very central, the room was clean, there was air conditoner. the wi-fi is not free, breakfast cost extra 8 euro per person, the bathroom is very very very small.
Friendly staff, all the staff manning the reception spoke English & extremely clean. Location of hotel was excellent.
The location could not have been better.
The room was the smallest I have ever seen.
Very convenient, and friendly
Convenient location, close to transport, restaurants and sight seeing. Rooms were very basic and rather small, but entirely adequate
Location is excellent.very good stuff. cleaning and changing the linen is everyday, that is not typical for 2 stars. Very small room and very poor breakfast((((
Two blocks from the Duomo and Metro station. A fan was installed in the bathroom and kept cycling on and off every 15 minutes with no off switch. Had to use ear plugs in order to sleep. Bathroom miniscule and equipped with a bizarre toilet that flushed loudly and repeatedly for 5 minutes for every use. No room to turn around anywhere, let alone set-up a suitcase. Breakfast was not included in high price. Was not aware from description that hotel was in a pedestrian zone so we had to park the car several blocks away in a garage and walk with all our luggage.
The location was great and convenient to places we visited. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was not comfortable-too hard. The bathroom was very small(though still manageable), even compared to other similar European hotels we have stayed.
Central location was excellent The walls are paper thin so there is a lot of noise from the corridor and other rooms
