Clean modern hotel It's a ways from Waikiki beach
Great staff. Great location. Can't think of anything.
Very convenient to Ala Moana Shopping Center
Great location if you want to be walking distance from the Ala Moana Shopping Mall Woke up early to machinery noise, this may have be temporary
Convenience of shopping and dining. Staff was friendly. Semi walking distance to Ala Moana State Park. Single rooms in Kona tower where a bit small and a little outdated. Rooms could use a good deep cleaning. Couch in room had stains on both cushions. Carpets are in need of shampooing..
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Like that there was a Starbucks located inside the hotel. Had a disco there, which is fine for singles, but not too friendly with family with young children. The patrons were a little loud and there was a large crowd outside trying to get in.
Nothing at all The staff, the price also we waited in line to check in for over an hour.
Walk to Ala Moana Shopping Center, Waikiki, multiple beaches, on main bus line to other shopping areas Not luxury accommodations but convenient!
Tiny tiny tiny rooms. Not even a desk chair.
Very close to Ala Moana shopping center and very clean rooms Rooms were kind of small when you look at it. Its perfect for 1 person but probably not for 2 people
Convenient location. Good service. Reasonable price. Jean, Kate and Cathy are the wonderful people who work there and make my stay a very nice experience!
Adjacent to the Ala Moana Mall and dining places. Short walking distance to the Hawaii Convention Center. Starbucks and reasonably price convenient store in the facility. Micro wave and refrigerator availability in the unit. Noise from the heavy machinery at the construction site just outside the window/patio door is constant in the day time. Computer use and printing is too costly for guest.
The staff is simply AMAZING!! Facilities are a little dated, but this seems to be the theme of many hotels in this particular area. Not the biggest deal. Wouldn't deter me from coming back.
An ideal hotel for those who look for want to be near to a well-known shopping centre i.e Ala Moana Shopping Centre and also Waikiki. Just walking distance to both and can save on transportation. Near to a fast food outlet for those with children. Located by the main road, one feels safe walking even at night. I enjoyed walking to the main shopping area where boutiques are aligned. I could have taken the Waikiki Trolley but I chose to walk as it was a manageable walking distance where my children also did not complain of being tired after doing so.
The staff is wonderful. Hotel is very good to excellent. nothing
photos are very misleading. my a/c just stopped working at 1am. I called the front desk, they tried to turn it on but it never came back on. they said there were no other rooms available. apparently it has happened before because the attendant made the remark that he thought they had fixed this problem. he brought me an oscalating fan that just circulated hot air. very unsatisfied.
The location is nice - and the views are beautiful. The hotel needs cleaning - it has roaches
The room smelled and it was not clean enought. The picture shown on the website does not reflect reality.
price was right. none
Great location Very basic amenities and room could use some sprucing up. Had roaches.
Nice location and inexpensive. When we came down for breakfast, it was no food at all! The cleaning staff did not clean the bathroom. Towels were changed partially.
The facilities are quite attractive given the rate charged. This is a relatively small hotel located few 100 meters away from the beach; and at walking distance from Ala Moana Center. The room was clean and furnished as described. It had wired broadband Internet (but no wireless Internet), a TV, a phone (having a direct phone #), a mini-refrigerator, and a coffee-maker. The bathroom had a shower (no bathtub), a washbasin and a commode. The closet (which had a small safe inside) was also located inside the bathroom. Continental breakfast (included muffins, buns, fruits, coffee, milk, etc.) was made available around 8.00 AM each morning. The staff was quite friendly and helpful.
It was clean. The hotel did not have an elevator from the street level to the lobby. My wife has a difficult time climbing up and down stairs. She is handicapped. he room was small and there wasn't much room for suitcases.
Prices are fair as well as competitive, room was clean, and (this is a biggie) very close to everything including the marina, restaurants, shopping and more. This was all within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pool was small but still very nice and they carried the luggage to the bedroom without asking. I will be back! The room is a little small as is the hotel. There is a lack of amenities here but I suppose I'm ok with that as long as I don't have to pay a resort fee. Bathroom is a little tight and it is hard to lock the bathroom door. Also if you're not sleeping right by the AC then you will not feel it.
Comfortable room, good beds, nice view. Bath sink didn't drain, called but no one showed up to fix . TV remote useless, had to "channel up/down" always. Couldn't just enter channel number. Maid service doesn't get to the room till 3:30/4:00 PM. No room service available. $4 to call from room to a cell with a different area code.
It was convenient. Easy to get into and out of. Parking was provided and adequate. The owners were helpful and kind. The elevator. It shook, rattled, and was slow. There are two elevators;one not working.A longtime resident told me it hadn't worked since he'd been there.Thee elevator broke down one evening forcing everyone to use the stairs. Imagine living on Floor 34
The studio is close to Waikiki beach and shopping mall. Very convenient. The room is clean. Need much time to wait for elevators.
front desk reception not available most of the time. please let customers know they can use next door hotel's reception.
Room had a great ocean view and very clean. Workers could be more friendly and new beds!
Was close to shopping food and beach. Full kitchenette with stove fridge sink dishes coffee maker and microwave Parking A rough driving valet only parking $25 a day Room Very morbid room that looks like you're in the early stages of the sims. Stove dials didn't have markings so you have to guess whether or not you turned it to hot or low. 2 twin beds, thin mattress hard springs, no comforter. Paint peeling from walls. If you are on a floor under floor 30 you have no view. Staff seems clueless. Cupboard door hinges aren't fitted correctly so some doors are stuck open. Very slow elevators. Took an average of 15 or more minutes to leave hotel. There are better places for the price.
I loved how close it was too the mall and other attractions of Waikiki. The large windows allowed a beautiful view. When we first got into our room it was supposed to be a queen bed but we got to very hard twin beds, the floors were still covered in sand, and one of the elevators was broken so it took a very long time for us to get to and from our room.
I enjoyed my view from the 40th floor, especially from the roof or 41st floor. Even the elevator, as treacherous as they seemed, had a wonderful view. No DVD player or ability to order films, the remote control was not programmed to the television. The toilet is installed in a ridiculous location. The general out lay of the room is that at one point there was one pent house on the top floor and rather than split it into two sweet rooms, they broke it into four strange and inconvenient rooms. Total fire hazard with the stairs.
The staff were ultimate professionals, the view was amazing, and you couldn't ask for a better location at the price.
only credits go to front desk staff who were polite and helpful.. I'll skip the minor problems and go directly into the big issues:- 1.The first room given to me has a ceiling with falling paint and in fact a big slice of the paint was lying on the desk 2.The toilet started overflowing upon the first flush (!!!!!!!) and was so serious that it started wetting the carpet of the room in less than a minute!!!! 3.After being transferred to the 2nd room, we requested for a roll-over bed. The front desk staff did mention that the room was a bit too small for the extra bed but still agreed to send me the bed. I am totally surprised when returning to the room finding the bed standing vertically in the middle of the room. classic.
Good views as we were on the 35th floor, plenty of storage, close to beach. i lift working so long waits, not sufficient kitchen equip, but supplied on request and AC sounded like an aircraft carrier so too noisy to use
realy nice view to ocean...good locaton to waikiki center and alamona shopping center.
The room had a good view of the ocean, and the sunrise was very pleasant. There was a small kitchenette, and although we didn't avail ourselves of it, I can see that it would come in handy for a longer stay. The location was great, right on the main artery of Waikiki. Shopping, dining, and beaches are all easily accessible by foot, or if you get tired, there are frequent busses along the route. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Fixtures and appliances were very old and worn, laminate was peeling off of the cabinetry. The shower was tiny. I wanted to make our first night in Hawaii a special one, which Is why I got the 'deluxe' room. Perhaps naively, I was expecting the room to be in better condition for the price. But to be honest, waking up to the ocean at sunrise on your first night in the tropics makes small annoyance about the room seem pretty insignificant
