This is the best possible Airport-Hotel. Great location, great service, beautiful rooms. Near magnificent shopping/restaurant center. And they even take you there for free if you have already returned your car. Nice complimentary breakfast.
Althought the hotel was close to airport, we never heard any planes. We also liked the rental car company and Cracker Barrell were walking distance from hotel. Staff were very friendly and always greeted you coming & going. Wished they had a full breakfast.
Front desk called me at 10:45 pm asking me to switch rooms because they were gonna change the carpet on my floor the next morning. Breakfast provided barely had options for what to eat.
friendlness of staff and the free shuttle bus to airport bus driver was very helpful indeed
Room and property were very nice The "grease spill" that occurred afternoon on 8/11/10 was so incredibly bad that the horrible.....horrible smell permeated the entire 1st floor. It was so bad that I could even smell it in my room. I began to get nausious after a while....and left to go buy air freshener. Something more should've been done as the common areas were uninhabitable for a while that night.
The room was large. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning, free airport shuttle, fitness center and pool!
Night attendant wasn't very friendly. Morning staff was pleasant to talk to,
The breakfast was so-so at best The shuttle didn't start running until 9:00 on Saturday. Had to take a $18 cab ride to the airport... So much for airport convenience.
Great location and better deal compared to more expensive motels at next exit. Maintained very well. Conveniently located without alot of traffic. Some Florida visitors may want an outside pool. This indoor pool was great though.
You have a wonderful staff and a very clean hotel I couldn't find anything I disliked.
Courteous staff, friendly shuttle driver, super-easy airport pickup, flexible check-in time, comfortable room, large TV, walking distance to restaurant (Cracker Barrel), immaculate bathroom Dirty/stained upholstery
excellant room, great beds and shower, good breakfast, would highly recommend
I liked everything except my room location. Room #205 shares a wall with the speaker system for the lobby area downstairs. Fortunately, the music was shut off at a decent hour. It is also, directly above the sliding doors to the breakfast nook. When those doors opened and closed (occasionally throughout the evening, again at 12:45 a.m. and again at 4:45 a.m.), it woke me up, sounding like someone dragging furniture on a hard floor in the next room. I suppose I should have mentioned something upon checkout, but I hate complaining in person, because I always get the impression the person to whom I'm complaining, really doesn't care. I actually planned on speaking to someone this time, I simply forgot. Oh... BTW, I do like the Hampton Inn very much, in general. I stayed at 3 different HI locations this summer. Coincidentally, he sink in each of those rooms drained very slowly (filling up as I used it).
It was clean and everyone was very friendly Same old breakfast,
Breakfast was delightful. Little difficult to get in and out if property initially. Once you know how it's fine.
Very nice and new hotel. Attentive and helpful staff. We had a large comfortable room. The breakfast very good and well organized. We would certainly stay again.
Large, clean room. Good value for money.
The hotel and facilities are absolutely nice, the room very spacious and clean. It is located within 15 minutes drive from the beaches, in a nice area surrounded by trees and there are several restaurants and gas stations close by. The breakfast is amazing, with a wide selection of food and deserts.
Nice location. Clean hotel and nice staff.
Easy access. Clean property. no
Clean,good price,confortable,nice indoor swimming pool
Close to the airport and places to meet up with family and friends.
I was very happy with my stay at LaQuinta Inn & Suite Fort Myers. Very clean, very nice, good breakfast and friendly employees.
price was fair considering the amenities of the hotel.. shuttle is important breakfast was great.. girl in front was sweet and professional Yes the windows do not even open slightly.. I need air and the ac is to strong
The staff was extremely helpful and cooperative. They went out of their way to assist us when necessary. NO
The staff were accomodating and attentive. The hotel was very clean. This hotel is about a little over 10 minutes from the airport. There is a Sam Sneads tavern & a Uno pizza across the street from the hotel. This hotel can meet most folks needs if they are traveling. It is not a destination hotel. It is tucked in along highway I-75. There wasn't a noise problem from the highway but I thought the roads were too busy to run along. I found a road side trail about a 1/2 mile on Daniels road toward Fort Myers. Ran into some wild pigs along the Cypress road section of the trail. The pigs were not phased me or the rush hour. I had a nonsmoking room which had a thick odor of cigarette smoke. It was suppose to be a single King but there werer 2 beds in the room. They looked to be 2 queens which was more then big enough for me. I was given a new room with 2 queens down the hall which fixed the problem. However, the TV did not work and the mirrored closet door was broken. I only stayed one night so I did not fuss over the TV. They had a morning breakfast with some hot items and basic fare. They ran out of many items ( like cold cereal, and eggs) by 7:30am & took some time to restock. I was pressed for time so I was fine with some oatmeal, bagel and juice.
nothing at all I would have been beter off in my car check in was ok then open the door to the room,it smelt like bad chemicles, the fridge was off and hot ,on the counter was one of those extension cords with a long bar and about 5 things pluged in ,hint fire hazard. the outlet on the wall was broke and hanging,i slept with the lights on in the chair cause I thought the cockroaches would come out ,I even put my shoes on the bed so they didn't get in them.so, when I left I was not nice at all and I will NEVER recommend that place to anyone.now I go there cause I had akidney transplant, for tests and I always stay at crestwood suites for over 9 years and they are so nice ,they treat me like family they even have a copy of my living will in their safe in case..and I would highly recommend them to any one..the reason I didn't stay there was because they didn't have a room. but please give them, cretwood suites an A plus and holiday inn below o thankyou ALLEN D. WOODS I WOULD STILL USE KAYAK BUT NOT HOLIDAY INN.
Room was clean. The maid was rude when 11 am check out came, my child (age 5)needed to go back in the room to use the bathroom quickly and she snapped at us that"check out is before 11..its 11:05!" I said sorry, she said hurry up
Close to restaurants and shops. A continental breakfast served as a starter. Would definitely stay again.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean With my work I need an active internet connection and the internet was spotty at best, dropping and re-connecting constantly. Also my tv had a black spot on the upper right corner.
rooms very clean The rooms looks very old
The price. I would have cheerfully paid more for a decent room! The room was dark and very tired. There were stains on the carpet and the walls had been repaired terribly. The sink area was stained and crowded. The curtains did not shut fully. The linen in one bed was stained and torn so I slept in the other.
Hotel is ok and location was great, but it is a 3 star hotel at best, versus the 4 star rating. Pillows were not comfortable.
Staff is super. My check in was a breeze and I recieved an upgrade. The bartender in club level was very friendly. Also, the aromatherapy packets in the bedroom were a nice touch. The food at the hotel restaurant was terrible and the hotel is in desperate need of a freshening up. You can really see its age
Time to renovate or take the Crown name down.
I loved the hotel staff and the room That my floor was suppose to be non smoking and it smelled like smoke but other than that everything else was great services room and staff and hotel
Reliable staff, especially from housekeeping. The food options have taken a drop in quality.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Room was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Large suite. Very good variety of breakfast items. We were not there for dinner. Staff in am was very friendly. We would book again without hesitation. Hall carpets need to be replaced.
Breakfast on Sundays need to start earlier than 7:00.
Cleanliness, staff, and amenities were all above expectations. Everything we could have hopes for. There wasn't a single thing I could complain about.
Location was nice, as it was close to lots.... Its a very basic room. Very small bathroom, shower etc. On the noisy side..both room to room, and in room (ie ac noises, plumbing noises etc). TV was by todays standards....poor. Small, 480 res. poor picture even at that. Odd white stain on carpet (your guess would probably be correct). Power plugs simply fall out of outlets.
The continental breakfast was nice. The rooms were clean but are in need of cosmetic updates
Could not sleep feeling safe in our first floor room after discovering, at midnight, that our window behind curtain was open....and there was NO LOCK ON OUR OPEN FIRST FLOOR WINDOW!
It's cheap. There's an airport shuttle (but it's not free). It's not right at the airport as one might assume based on the name of the place. Airport cabs are not cheap, and the shuttle is not free. Water pressure in the shower was very low, and that's a problem that shouldn't happen, regardless of price.
Great value for the money. Helpful staff. Clean and quiet. I've paid the same for much less desirable hotels.
The location was very convenient. We had an early flight, so we stayed at the Travelodge the night before. The room was clean, staff was friendly. Besides being 10 minutes from the airport, the hotel is 10 minutes from downtown Ft Myers and 10 minutes from Ft Myers Brewing. There is also a sports bar 2 minutes away and almost every fast food chain is right there to. Perfect place to stay for us.
They missed one day of room service
Everything was quite nice, quiet No microwave and frig
When we first got into the room there was a terrible odor. Carpet was crunchy, hairs all over the bed. We found some ants on the bed. The bathroom was really dirty. In the morning it was so noisy due to the garbage truck & neighboring business' trucks. The overall stay was horrible.
Very convenient location to beach and the highway. Breakfast was good every morning. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathub was a little grungy.
Our non smoking room reeked of smoking. We requested another room and was told none were available the time. We received a refund and had to find another place to stay on our vacation p
Nothing Place dirty, old, none friendly staff, breakfast awfull no selection and looks old food reheeated many times. Just add 20-40 dol and you can get better hotel, less stress. The hotel makes you anxious and makes u feel like crap! Location is 8 miles away fr airport. There are btter hotel 3 miles away like hilton, sheraton. We left and moved to another hotel.
Location Dirty,lack of maintenance
Nasty place only for prostitutes and thier pimps Nothing works staff speaks no english and tries to skip around cleaning your room paid $300.00 for 7 days and had to leave after 3 since I had children with me and got no kind of refund
Location Shower never got hot. Awakened at 1am by a knock on the door. Terrible TV reception. Refrigerator door didn't seal
Nothing. Not worth the price, roaches all over, dirty bed sheets, very outdated. Never stay here.
Staff was great it was comfortable and quiet
Good location Old styling, very outdated - smelled like mold & cigarettes
Good enough for the value. Sketchy looking group staying there, but no problems. Not luxury room but adequate for our needs. Old place and looks like it, but we had no problems. As an older woman who was not using the room other than sleeping, cleaning up/changing, reading, light breakfast, it was fine. A bit far from the beach, which was why we were there (Sannibel) but easy drive to get there. We stayed for 2 nights for less than what 1 would have cost on the island.
Did not have a printer for their only public computer.
I stayed for a week while I was in town for work. The location is great; plenty of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The room was clean and having a pool made all the difference! My only complaint was that there was only one washer and one dryer, so it took me quite a few tries until I was able to do laundry. But hey, if that's my only complaint, it was a great deal!
1. Clean and decently well maintained rooms. They should ensure that all the equipment like refrigerator and microwave are plugged in. 2. Friendly staff 1. Water dripping from the roof in the covered area. They need to have better maintenance 2. They charged me a different rate than what kayak had listed. Make sure you're careful in matching the rate. This isn't really a downside for me but just listing for benefit of other customers
Beautiful lobby, friendly, professional staff. Very clean throughout the facility. quiet, spacious rooms. Nothing
Reasonable cost, comfortable stay. location of the Hotel too far out if you have no transport and no or limited public transport on the weekend.
Walking distance from the beach. Nice swimmingpool and good breakfast. Located far from downtown.
Staff took care of my concerns. Had to move 3 rooms. 1st room the AC didn't work. 2nd room smelled like a gym bag, 3rd try was fine. Hotel was under renovations which wasn't mentioned at time of booking. Pool was closed as well.
The king size bed was old and soft. You needed to insist to change your sheets everyday. The pool was cloudy and not usable. The dinng area was smalla nd cramped. The desk staff was very aloof and uncaring and unknowledgeable.
internet, pool not much
Breakfast was good. Multiple choices, waffles, cereal, fruit and bread. Room was ok. Room smelled like Mold/moisture. Staff was unhelpfull at check in. Walked in without reservation via booking.com. I new the price from booking.com but she did not want to match it, made me make a online reservation before i could get that price.
It was a great one night stay. Clean easy to get to and staff was kind they have room service and a bar I was in first floor and the church that congregates there woke me up I had just flown for 8 hours so I checked in around midnight and probably didn't get to bed until 1 and so all I heard all morning was the church microphone and I was a bit dissapointed that I didn't get to sleep in. Other than that everything was great.
Great buffet breakfast - more variety and fresh entrees than most other hotels. Room was not cleaned during our stay, and closet door squeaked loudly.
The staff is very kind, good atmosphere
We were disappointed by the lack of lounge chairs poolside to accommodate the guests.
Clean great beds nice lobby Great rate Nothing I would stay there again
It's a cute hotel with a nice lobby area, very small but cute. Beds were super comfortable. Our room was full of ants and after telling the front desk to look into it no one ever got back to me so I'm not sure they did. Then our window was pouring out water from the ceiling and at first they just offered us towels to put down, then moved us 3 doors down to a new room, but no one ever called to ask us how everything was or even go out of their way to make it up! I'm disappointed, won't stay there again or refer anyone there.
Price for breakfast in comparison to the offer was very good.
The price even for a mini suite was very good. The room was clean and modern with 2 flat-screen televisions in the mini suite. Linens were clean. Convenient location about 20 minutes from RSW and a quick drive to Cape Coral. The side entrance door was finicky and people left it open. It took a long time to get hot water for a bath or shower. Whenever towels were replaced, the number of fresh ones was always diminished. Had to go to the front desk and get more so both of us could have a towel after showering. Breakfast was pricey but you can always go to First Watch down the street and eat there. It's delicious.
The staff was especially kind and helpful. The pool was a little slimy feeling and the hot tub was out of order.
Really a very nice room for the price I paid. Hilton's bed's are almost always among the best, and this was no exception. The bartender, who also oversaw the restaurant, was extremely nice. The cookies at the desk were a nice touch. :) The airport shuttle was convenient. There's not much of interest within walking distance, but I kind of guessed that going in. A free continental breakfast would be nice, but hey...
Clean and comfortable. Helpful & courteous staff. Loved the keurig coffee pot. As a stranger to the city I must have driven past the hotel several times before I finally found it in the dark. All directions indicate University Drive but there was no evident signage. The hotel's sign was dimly lit and lost among others. My shower wasnt hot. A quick complimentary breakfast option would be great.
The staff brought up an extra matress for the pullout bed, which was a nice gesture. The mattress was comfortable. The breakfast was pretty bad. Everything was cold. Eggs were pretty horrible.
We loved the room layout of the king suite. Nice an open not boxed off like the other chain hotel we stayed in before. Had a full size fridge and small two burner stove and micro.even a dish washer too. The breakfast was great each day with plenty of cut fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, make your own waffles, toast ,pastries, plus fresh blueberries and blackberries for toppers. There was also a lite fare from 5-7pm Mon-Thursday. We stayed these 4 days and never had to go any where for meals except our lunches. The evening fare was enough for us each night. You have a soup and salad plus some nights rice and stir fry with chicken another was tacos and pulled pork. It's also all you care to eat so you won't starve.you know ahead I of time what's being served. You also have wine and beer for drinks. This is a great place to stay if you are on a budget. The entire staff at the hotel was great. The check in was quick and the servers at meal times always kept everything fresh and full. We really looked forward to not having to hunt for a place for our main meals everyday. The hotel was just the right size for us kind of cozy not a giant monstrosity with people always coming and going at all hours. They certainly had everything we needed fo our stay. We were very happy. Really no negatives to think of. But I'm sure people will complain about everything just to be whining. We are easy to please people. We just want nice clean facilities it doesn't have to be fancy and Homewood Suites was this and more.
Nice hotel, good for the money Por breakfast
Clean overall. No insects of any kind.
First of all, the Inn keeper was very gracious. We were so pleasantly surprised with the nice room we got with a nice price.
Goods price close to lots of good reaturants and stores. With no carpet in the room you can tell its at least clean. Room smelled, in between 2 smoking rooms, wanted non smoking. Small parking lot, no room for a trailer. Their website says they charge a small fee for wifi access while other sites say it's free. If you bought a bed within the last 4 years, you will not be satisfied with theirs! Will not stay here again!!
The staff was exceptional. I felt safe and comfortable! Nothing
It was a great get-away for my boyfriend and me who were in town visiting my sister. Great price for an included breakfast until 9:30 and coffee makers are provided in each room. Not luxury, but a great value! Construction was being done while we stayed.. Also, since we left the room at eleven AM one day we missed the maid services... We put the sign on the door asking for our room to be serviced but it never was.
Nothing The way the maneger talks to us,he also cancel my reservation. Horrible trate de todo us.
Nice and clean even smelled nice and nice hot water There was no plug in the tub for kids to take A bath and small kids don't like taking showers only complaint
The hotel looked new. and was very clean. The front desk lady was friendly and very helpful. She upgraded us at no charge. WiFi was free, and easy to use. Breakfast bar was good, coffee especially. AC worked well. Nice pool. A brown stain on the rug in our room (2nd flr) was unappetizing. Location was near the airport & freeway- good for an over niter, but not in walking distance to anything.
Location great, Cracker Barrel down the street Nice, clean room, full size refrigerator Thin towel ... No wash clothes... No wifi
Loved the pool! A minor thing, but we wish that they served real coffee at the breakfast. It was pretty much undrinkable -- tasted like instant (I think it was some sort of concentrate mixed with hot water).
the hotel is in a good location, the room is spacious and it has a big pool. the carpet was dirty.
The pool are was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room smelled like mold and could use a good scrub down in the bathroom. It is unlikely I will stay at this hotel chain again.
It was my goal to find affordable lodging near the beaches for a last minute get-a-way. The pool (heated, large) turned out to be a main attraction for my teens and they preferred to be at the hotel. Staff was friendly, helpful. Breakfast each morning was convenient and enough to satisfy the family. Rooms were quiet, dark and comfortable for sleeping. Bathroom was damp, musty. Maids neglected floors with daily service and missed our room completely one day.
The room smelled like mildew was growing in it.
Average low budget chain hotel except the nightstand had a big booger smeared on it and the carpet had a bunch of crumbs and toenail clippings on it. I asked the front desk if they could have someone vacuum the next time they cleaned the room but didn't notice a difference when I came back later.
I thought it was clean and comfortable. Great value I wish the pool towels were bigger
The pre-check in service allowed me to have in the room things, such as extra pillows and towels, that I would have otherwise needed to ask for after checking in. The hotel location was good and the outside was kept up well. The bathroom was roomy and had a lot of counter space and room for 2 people in it at once, if necessary. The room looked and felt old and needed some renovation. The mattresses were softer and a bit misshapen, indicating they were old. And the bathroom faucets, etc., had pitting and corrosion on the surface. It just seemed like it really needed some renovation considering the price we paid, which wasn't terribly expensive for a place so close to Sanibel, but we still expected an updated facility. The breakfast was OK, but they started putting things away at 9 AM, so you couldn't sleep in!
I liked the price The rooms did not feel clean and the free breakfast was horrible. No eggs, bacon, sausage or anything of substance.
Excellent location near Sanibel Beach Gateway, price great, comfortable and very clean, beautiful pool area, nice little breakfast bar, and most important: dog friendly.
We enjoyed our stay there very much. Would stay there again. If there was a negative to it, we had to travel a ways to get a selection of restaurants but only minor inconvenience..
