Clean/comportable for the money The only Hotel that advertised that they had a spa, so I chose it.. Guess what was out of order... yup.. the spa... all 3 days
The staff was very welcoming, polite and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the maid service was great.
Comfortable bed, clean room Too far from my area of attention- Ft. Benning. When I come back in April I will select a hotel much closer.
The complementary chilli dogs chips and beer Wednesday night after an 11hour trip. My bill was $12 more than quoted on booking.con
Staff was helpful and courteous. Rooms are very lovely and moderate. Clean. Very comfortable. Nothing
Price, size of room The weather, lol
The beds were comfortable, which almost made up for everything else! The hotel is pet friendly, I get it; but the smell was awful in the lobby/hallway and there was urine/feces in the elevator!! When I alerted the housekeeper, she didn't think it was a big deal. Definitely not worth $80!!
The staff was incredible! The front desk person, Tuwana, did everything in her power to make our stay pleasant. When we called in advance to see if we could arrive and check in early, she was able to get that done. She also called me in the room just to make sure that everything was okay. The rooms were requested as nonsmoking but they definitely smelled like smoke. Additionally, the rooms had a musky odor that appeared to be coming from the carpet.
It was quite and peaceful!
Location and friendliness of the staff. The room seemed to be falling apart. Tub was more like a trampoline. Paint was peeling off of the walls, and the electrical had unsafe multi plugs.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room had an odor. Almost as if the room had prior smokers. Not fresh.
Staff was extremely friendly. Comfortable beds and air conditioner was great! Location good as well , right off the highway and close to shops and couple restaurants.
All staff were professional, friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping, front desk and maintenance all get a 10 from me. This hotel is very accommodating to military families and guests visiting for various graduations from Fort Benning. I have stayed here on at least 5 or 6 different occasions and always enjoyed my stay. Sadly this particular hotel, prior to being acquired by Windham, was not properly maintained. Have stayed here numerous times prior and was saddened to see how let go the overall property was. I am confident that Windham will make the necessary repairs/renovations to bring it back to its original quality or better.
Not much Noise, refrigerator didn't work , dirty and the pool was green slim...stayed there cause thought it be nice. Too expensive for what we got..
Staff very helpful and attentive, quiet location. Large laundry facility and great workout room. Close to main gate Ft. Benning and east gate if visiting Infantry Museum. Very limited housekeeping and room had an odor.
Nothing. The hotel was dirty. Mold on the vents. The hall carpets has huge stains. The elevator kept sounding like it was going to break. They even had a huge hole in the elevator floor and they tried to cover it up with a mat. There was never any breakfast. The room where breakfast was served only fits 10 people out of the whole hotel.
The day staff was very helpful and kind after a booking hiccup from booking.com In general, the entire hotel has the look of a frat house with stains on the carpets and smelled of stale beer and cigarettes. The room was clean, but pretty under stocked with bed pillows and extra toilet paper. The worst was the party environment that seemed to be permissible. We were forced to call law enforcement when the smell of marijuana filled the hall and made its way into our own room. This added to the generally uncomfortable stay. Other guests would walk up and down the halls blaring music from their phones, and a constant in and out of each other's rooms. Door slams, at all hours. I travel frequently and have liked other Wyndham hotels, but I shouldn't have to call the cops for a $85/night room.
Great overall. Smaller and right by plenty of stores and restaurants. They need a mirror outside of the one in the bathroom so more than one person can dress/put on make up/dry their hair.
indoor pool, hot breakfast, convenient location, friendly staff you can't enter the front entrance after midnight. you have to enter from the side of the building. i understand this is to keep outsiders out, but there should be a swipe access for guests.
Clean Facility and friendly staff Facility was dated and could use some upgrades
The sofa had stains all over it. The room smelled of sex. There was a dirty furnace filter on the floor. Staff came up to view the complaints, we asked for sheets to put on the sofa. Would have asked to move to another room but was late and wanted to rest. The last straw was on the head board was snot! If I had not paid for it through hotels.com, I would have asked for my money back and slept in the car.
The motel was fine but... I didn't like the fact that I was charged $191.46 from KAYAK on Oct 13, 2016 and when I checked out, I received a bill for only $149.77 from the motel. Why the discrepancy?
The hotel allowed pets and my daughter's sports team had booked rooms there so we chose to stay there as well. If the team had not been at this hotel, we would have checked out and found another hotel. The hotel is not in a good neighborhood - unsafe really with no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. Breakfast options were mediocre at best, the facilities were filthy, especially the rooms. The carpet had so many stains I put my shoes on before getting out of bed. The online info said pets were allowed, but when signing all the "disclaimers" at checkin, one stated having an unclaimed pet would result in a $100+ charge. So I said I had a very small dog so they then charged me $25 per day EXTRA on TOP of the $110+ room fee for the pet. This place is NOT worth $100 night! And if they charge $25 for the pet, what is the fee for?? They certainly are not using the fee to clean the carpets! The room rate was showing $84/night for Fri-Sat. When adding Thursday, the rate for ALL nights jumped to $110. Tried to book Thursday separately and miraculously there were no rooms avialable. But yet booking 3 full nights to include Thursday was possible if I paid the $110. As I said, had my daughter not been staying at this hotel and she lives 4 states away so I seldom see her, I would have changed hotels immediately. Pictures online are definitely deceiving. I didn't expect alot, but for that kind of room rate, they could at least not make you feel like you are not in a subrate facility. Don't bother - you can find better options!
They rooms were nice. Very big. Mold under the lower soap dish in tub, no microwave, housekeeping came by 3 hours before checkout to see if i was still checking out. Didn't get chocolate chip cookies.
Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Near plenty of restaurants. Small bathrooms.
No breakfast room small
Room was clean and comfortable Wall paper in bathroom was peeling off and there was what appeared to be mold growing along the bottom trim near the shower
The Double Tree was a great place to stay during my son's graduation from Ft. Benning. The restaurant was great and we enjoyed several meals there. Rooms were large, clean and modern. Had a little trouble figuring out the air cond in one of the rooms.
Staff Room was very dirty. Hotel was very old. The room and hallways smelled horrible. They downgraded my room to a handicapped room without informing me.
Gteat for the money spend
Very clean room, staff was very nice, verycourteous. AC Temperature. Set thermometer in room 5 degrees lower than what we had when we came in the room. AC ran for a few minutes and then came back on every 30 mins to an hour or so, never really got the room temperature down to what we were looking for.
Air conditioning worked great, bed was super comfy, coffee was good! Overall I would recommend! I think the breakfast attendant could be just a little more attentive to things running out. Coffee was out in both carafes and I couldn't wait around for more. Different choices for yogurt would be nice to include Greek yogurt.
stylish, very modern, plenty of seating in room (1) Check-out time of 11am was very disappointing, noon or 12pm should be the standard for all hotels. (2) TV had many channels not available, so you had to search through all the channels. (3) Lack of parking spots, very few in front of building.
Cleanliness, newness and location Wifi was poor and the breakfast was a disappointment
Convenient. Clean. Friendly staff.
It was a place to sleep. Disgusting breakfast. Food tasted two weeks old and hardly a selection of items offered. When I arrived around 2am, no one was around to let me into the lobby and check in. I waited a good 10-15 before someone ooened the door.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms was clean and comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean and comfortable. I was told the room was handicap accessible but the were no bars to hold ont getting in and out of the shower and no mat to put on the floor to keep from slipping.
Friendly staff Far from our destination
Nice and modern
Stayed in Columbus for my Son's graduation from the Army. The staff and the hotel were absolutely perfect!!

I liked Everything about your hotel , wish I could have stayed longer, keep up the good work There were a spray bottle leftover in the bathroom and a used coffee pod leftover by the Guest before
The hotel was very clean, the rooms were huge but most of all the staff was so so friendly! We especially loved the woman who worked at the restaurant that served us also the two girls at the front desk..sorry I forgot their names. After a long day with our son at Fort Benning it was great to come back to the bar where we had 2 great great bartenders. The first one was Amiena (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and P.J. This hotel was excellent with a top notch staff!
Lobby is beautiful and it's nice to have a Starbucks in the building. The staff was polite and professional. Room was smaller than I expected. While in the hall I could hear other guests talking in their room (not the level of privacy I expected). Train woke me up twice the first night and once the second. Really?
The room was as described. Clean and comfortable with a small refrigerator, nice tv and great place to sit and work. Customer service at the front desk was outstanding. I have no problems recommending for a place to stay.
Staff is friendly, helpful and responsive. Room was very clean. The bed's weren't as comfortable as Hampton Inn's, but Hampton beds are unusually new. These beds were fine -- no complaints for what I paid. Cab fare to airport was a mere $5 because it's so close.\n\nThe high speed internet is not wireless but less convenient cable that's too short. Instead of being able to use your laptop in bed or anywhere in the room, you'll be confined to the desk.
The food and the room
I loved the complimentary breakfast! The easy access to rooms! There is an over night front desk woman that was so sweet! Very helpful!! She definitely made my experience the best! Nothing!
Smoking rooms I had about 8 men come to my room and followed me around and steakd me out because of some couples Craigslist add for sex. Two of them actually came into my room without asking.
The cleanliness , staff, and view also close to the army base I liked everything
Our room was immaculate. Very comfortable beds. Very nice large flat screen TV. We requested a smoking room but there were no bad odors. It smelled clean. The staff was very friendly but professional and informed. Great value for the price. When next in Columbus we will go back to Days Inn. I would have preferred the old style mulit cup coffee maker instead of the one cup machine.
We liked the value for the price The pictures on the website don't do it justice Many updates were noticed and staff was very friendly and professional The room was clean and the beds were comfortable although I would have liked a few more pillows. We didn't like the loud neighboring guest that had no regard for our quiet time (midnight to 5am) he sat on the stairs outside of our room and had a 5 hour telephone conversation. We didn't notify the desk as to not cause problems.
No major problems. Room with old furnishings, but clean enough for me. Old, exterior corridor Hampton. I came to find out that this is a corporate store. If it had been a franchise, surely it'd have lost its Hampton "flag" years ago and would've made the transition to Super 8 or Motel 6. Hotel is fine, but not typical Hampton quality.
I liked the complimentary bottled water. I loved the "To Go" Bag." This really helped me for a meeting that day. Saturday's breakfast was wonderful. I really enjoyed the attendant on duty for the breakfast. Great selection and everything that I wanted was there. Thank you! I did feel that the beds were not up to Hampton's standard. The Comforter appeared a bit worn and the sheets were not there usual crispness or cleanly looking. The towels were also a little worn and the room's coffee maker did not work.
Location & breakfast !!! Not as clean as I would of liked & no fan working in the bathroom. Need better pillows !!!
I loved the staff and how helpful they were. One guy in particular. I was doing a surprise evening for my guy, and he helped me pull it off and made me aware of the minor upgrades I could get! It went as smooth as butter!
friendly staff hot breakfast different each day, the kids loved the cookies in the afternoon
Really enjoyed the staff. Will stay again
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had many options and was a nice addition. The rooms were a bit outdated, and the bathroom could've been cleaned a little more thoroughly
Staff was very friendly, advertised that the bed linens were freshly laundered for guests. Good variety for breakfast Omelet was terrible
