The Broadmoor is old world beautiful. The detail in design with comfort and beauty in mind is exquisite. The room we were given had a flight of stairs to climb and we were not told this ahead of time.
beautiful setting In this MASSIVE complex- in HIGH ALTITUDE there is NO water- anywhere!!! None set out at front desk- none in room...we were told "you can BUY some at the4 store down the hall" seriously?!
Finee, well run hotel Need to bring many $$$ for constant tips
The Broadmoor is a 5 star resort. It is a designation that is well earned. Everything was excellent.
The room and tv. The lack of customer service from driving in at 4 in the morning
Breakfast was awesome, the staff was efficient and friendly. Nothing.
Great breakfast that is included. Grill has good food also.
The atmosphere overall was wonderful. The admin and reception was the worst part a majority of the time in addition to the room service. The reception was lazy and not helpful at all when we needed assistance and the room service brought us cold food and wrong orders. Also you couldn't open any windows and had to keep the shade drawn so people couldn't see right into the room - so was very dark.
Breakfast was wonderful, lobby sitting area around fire place, close to highways and many local resturants and shops, bed was super comfy Didn't have an outside sitting area, didn't have a spa
The room was really nice as well as the bath room other people were friendly as well as the staff The bed in the room wasn't the best kept having to wake up because lower back started to hurt (king size)
Breakfast was amazing. The mattresses were extremely comfortable. The hot tub closed early, 10pm.
Comfy room, has fridge and microwave, great pool and hot tub, wonderful restaurant. Can't ask for more.
Breakfast included (buffet style). Location is north of the city but easy access to highways to get to sightseeing locations. Short wait for Uber/Taxis Not in a great walking area. No elevator to bring bags to 2nd floor.
Convenient to most attractions. Felt the price was too high. We were put off on the end far from most resort amenities. There were no King Beds available although the parking lot was relatively empty.
The grounds and outdoor seating areas were great and the view is beautiful!!! The few times I called the front desk, there was no answer. Seemed the front desk was very low on staff.
The bed was extremely comfy! The hotel and service was of high quality. There was construction work near my hotel building and the walls are definitely not sound-proof.
Our room, brunch, access, and swimming pool were great. The staff (primarily check in counter) was not friendly, and seemed like I was interrupting something important. Was in an elevator with other staff while they yelled into their phone about something with what they were doing. Really diminished the experience between these two things. The Broadmoor really makes you feel like a valued guest when you are there.
The room was cozy and comfortable. hotel staff service was very poor. Requested additional coffee, creamer and sugar and was brought one packet of cream. They said they were out. Alex for toothbrush and was told the shipment didn't come in. Asked front desk why they did not service done kind of complimentary breakfast and she told me if I could afford to stay there I should be able to afford to buy my own breakfast. Rude!!!
Atmosphere, friendly staff, clean rooms, private retreat feel.
Views Nothing was free at least Lil lower on food becasues we travel to chill abd still don't feel at home
Awesome location golf course with a backdrop of the Rocky Mountains! Being fall with the tree changing colors it was especially beautiful. Near everything ; Broadmoor Arena, Seven Falls, Cog train to Pikes Peak, the charming town of Manitu Springs, Garden of the Gods, hiking, golf, tennis, and Caverns. We were their for our anniversary and the staff surprised us with champagne and a fruit/cheese plate! It make quite an impression. Staff very friendly and thoughtful much better then Brown Palace. Everything was clean and cared for overall. Being a tub girl the bathroom was not an luxurious as I would have liked.
Service and food were good in the lounge (once the server finally showed up). My room key did not work when I tried to get in my room. Coffee was not in my room. THe ability to check out on the TV did not work.
Very nice rooms and the recreation area was wonderful too! Good place to take your family and friends. Loved the spa, lake, golf course and pool! The food was ok but quite high priced for salad bar. Would have been nice to have a place to get a hamburger. Would also have been nice to have a place to get a newspaper or magazine without having to go to the mall.
Clean, attractive Expensive with no real extras except WiFi. Parking was in a sketchy garage a block away for $1 or $18 valet. No coffee in the lobby and the coffee maker in our room was broken. No complimentary breakfast. For this price you can get a lot more elsewhere and in a safer location.
We were given a corner room on the top floor. It had all the amenities you could ask for. Luxurious but reasonably priced and right in the heart of the city. Parking was a little odd. You had to park a block away and then when we went to leave, the $1 we were told we would pay was only good until 5:30 am..must've missed the fine print somewhere. So it cost a few more dollars to get out of the lot, mostly just inconvenient.
Best part were the comfort of the beds. Disappointed in the size of the room. For a room with a king size bed it was very small. View was of a brick wall.. Someone also needs to clean the kitchen. We went to the brunch on Mother's Day. I saw the kitchen as we passed to go to the back room where the food was located. If I saw the kitchen before we made plans, we would have never eaten there. Filthy, absolutely filthy. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day...
I loved the bathroom. Very clean place with friendly staff. The large lobby was a great place to hang out and enjoy a drink. Pillows were not very comfortable and the thermostat didn't cool the room down.
The bed was amazingly comfortable. There was no refrigerator in our room.
Everything was wonderful. The room was charming and so was the hotel itself in general.Folks in Colorado Springs have it good, the hotel has a beautiful views and really cozy beds, friendly staff and great food & drinks.Wonderful in every way. We fell in love with the giant windows too. Can't wait to go back. The parking situation is no big deal it's less than a block away and a dollar after 4pm then it's just a dollar or two extra if you leave after 9:00am.If you don't like that then you should pony up for valet it's very inexpensive if you campers it to places in the French Quarter or something like that.
The room and beds where very nice and it could not have been more convenient to restaurants and other necessities. The staff was great and I will stay there again. I did not find it sooner
Needs more luggage dollies. Needs some updates. Needs better breakfast with real eggs, biscuits and gravy and better saussge.
At check in the staff were very friendly and accommodated our early arrival. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel, our sheets were dirty and stained on both beds, when we requested extra linens they brought them to the door; did not offer to remake beds or apologize. The bathroom had mold growing in the shower and under the sink where we found roaches crawling around in the morning. Our toilet broke in the morning and the maintenance man told us not to use so much toilet paper, when it had not even been used yet. there was a bad smell that lingered in the room and the air conditioner was not consistent; blew hot air then freezing air then hot air again. The pool area was not well monitored and there were multiple people smoking and carrying on until late into the night when the pool was supposed to close at 10 pm. All in all we were very disappointed in what we paid and the quality of the hotel. I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.
Clean room. Clean towels. Quiet. Dated interior. Looks like hasn't been updated since the 90s
i had a great experience with This hotel. It wasn't 5 star, but the service was good and it was just enough :) I could hear a lot of screaming from the pool but that's just of where my room was
staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. It's not the Ritz of course, but for the money, it was an excellent value. The breakfast was basic, but good, the room was clean and spacious, location was perfect. I would definitely recommend it and will stay there again. They only had small travel size pillows on the bed, but to be fair, I didn't ask for another, maybe they have full size pillows on request.
I liked the workers - very polite and capable Building was old and it showed
The staff was friendly and hardworking. The free breakfast was pretty good relative to other similar hotels. The room was nasty. The toilet looked like it was about to fall through the floor, the shower was moldy, the room smelled like urine, and the elevators smelled like mothballs.
The room was dark barely any light at all I was locked out for almost 45 minutes because the person behind the counter wasn't at his desk like he was supposed to be. I called they never answered so I had to call a different quality Inn in Boulder in order to get a hold of somebody so that they could try to contact the front desk so that I was able to get into my room
The front desk staff was very nice and helpful. When our first room was unacceptable they moved us to another room that was clean enough to get through the night. When we checked into our first room it looked like it had not been cleaned well. We pulled out the sofa bed and there was trash all over and the sheets had not been changed. Breakfast is free but you had better use your discount and go to the Village Inn next door.
The breakfast..Was good. The hours not so good.
The process of checking in and out was very easy. The rooms were clean and orderly. The front desk staff members were fantastic! I couldn't find a laundry room, some of the staff workers in the restaurant were too vocal about their displeasure with what was going on while at work.
Location The cost. To much for to little.
Room wasn't ready, bathtub was chipped and peeling. Holes in wash rags and towels. You have to pay for parking.
Nothing The room we reserved and paid for was not ready when we got there and we didn't check in until about 4:30. Check in time was 3 pm, so they had plenty of time to get our room ready. They told us it would be another hour before the room would be ready. We had Valentines's dinner plans and needed to get ready so they offered us a different room and offered us a discount. The first room they put us in was literally right across from the elevator and was probably the smallest room I have ever seen. I went back down and they gave us a different room, further away from the elevator but not the corner room we paid for and front desk advised we would be compensated for the difference in rate. The next morning we went to go check out and asked for a receipt showing the difference in room rate and they had no knowledge of that happening and that they couldn't give us a receipt. They said because we booked through someone else instead of them, there was nothing they could do. They basically told us we were out of luck. I don't really care how I book the room, the service and expectation should be the same, especially from a four or five star hotel. We will never stay there again or recommend to anyone.
Staff at the front desk welcoming, easy access to the city, comfortable beds and clean rooms. Check in time was too late, asked for earlier checkin, moved to a room with city view instead of mountain view, still billed the same. Coffee maker could not be plugged in from where it was in our room, took some toying with it to figure it out, then it over flowed one of our two cups.
Good location, friendly staff. Lot of history. 17 bucks a day to park, and they don't comp.
Service from staff was great. Facility needs a light reno or at least a more dedicated manager. The paint was peeling in the bathroom, caulking around the tub was discolored, the closet doors where heavy (think bulletproof) steel (why?), the lamp shades next to the bed where stained with countless dirty fingers (also missing a screw so the shade would just fall off if rattled to much) and the floors need to be shampoo'd. Look I understand this hotel's style is antique, but maintenance on old time-y looks goes a long way and whoever manages it for this particular hotel is dropping the ball. Service was great, but the prices where not. With the cost of the night, valet and breakfast the total bill for a single night will run you $200. Just not worth it for the small unkept rooms and overpriced amenities that should, honestly today, be included. I travel the the springs often and as much as I enjoy the ambiance and location of this hotel, I wont be wasting money here again.
Facility needs to be updated.

Vey clean hotel. My kids absolutely loved the free popcorn!! If there is anything it would have been that the eggs weren't very good but that is just my own personal taste.

The free drinks, food, and popcorn There should be no food allowed in the pool area
Location was great. I liked the 3 free drinks per night with dinner meal. Breakfast was great took. It made a simple and convenient stay. It was a nice hotel but smaller gym then I would have expected.
It is outstanding.Love the Kickback hour. Loved it all.
Very good value for the quality.
Brand new and nice.
Very nice exercise room. Completely empty so I had it all to myself. I was given a handicap room, which I am not. The reservation said nothing about the room being handicap accessible. Called the hotel front desk and they did nothing to fix it.

Great staff. Very clean
Room was spacious and very clean. Bed was very comfortable and they offer free hot breakfast. Clean, Quiet, and Comfortable
The Full Kitchenette The fact that they did not clean everyday even though I checked on their check in sheet it should be cleaned everyday.
space, kitchen, location cramped brekfast area
An itinerant man was helping himself to the breakfast bar. The smell was awful, and he was coughing sputum on the guests and on the food at the breakfast bar. There was a massive stone tablet of the Ten Commandments at the front entrance. I don't mind a Gideon's bible in the desk drawer, but this was over the top.
Price and all required features
checking out the cleanliness, lack of maid service, no resturuants near by, the hooka bar next door, the toilet backing up, me plumbing it, drunk guests, loud maids cleaning other rooms at 7am, lack of parking for guests, and as expensive as the good Elegante hotel....need i say more?
It was reasonably priced and well positioned. Interior was dated. Desk staff was mediocre after hours. Other than that cost to value was good.
It was in close proximity to my work... everything else was lacking. Lacked parking, funny odors throughout, room was outdated, room had strange odor, breakfast was lacking, won't stay here again.
the Ten Commandments at front door was neat, did not offend me at all. It was a little loud. Kids running and no supervision of kids exercise room. The Mom was there just no supervision. Staff can't police poor parenting.
I did like the pool // hot tub Terrible customer service & they ripped me off. Not as nice pictures are old.vm
convenient location no coffee maker in the room. 1/2 mile from room to lobby. tiny/cramped bathroom.
Lots of things to do right on the property. Huge property, rooms are nice and the bar is good. Is awesome for family reunions or business conferences. The location is great for all the things to do in the springs. Bit of a creepy vibe with the 10 commandments on a huge obelisk at the front door.
The staff was very helpful. Trash in the room when we checked in. Poor internet connection. Noisy dog in the next room.
We had our family reunion at this hotel. The staff worked well with our family and provided us a room that could hold most of us. My husband and I upgraded our room to "premium" which allowed us to visit the hospitality suite for breakfast and during the evening for snacks. This was worth it to us and the staff hosts were wonderful. The small indoor playground helped our kiddos get the wiggles out, but we wished it was a bit bigger so that it could hold larger crowds. Our room was oddly shaped with a small doorway leading to the bathroom. The room was worn out and needed TLC. The electrical outlets were iffy at best. I plugged a hair dryer in one, and the lights went off. Another plug was so loose fitting that nothing could stay plugged in as it would fall out. You can easily get lost in this hotel. The layout is confusing, and there are no shortcuts. I tried! Just when you think you are going the right way, you instead discover that you need to backtrack and try again. The pools are heated, but cold! Brrrr! We turned into Popsicles after 30 minutes of swimming. (And their pool towels are teeny tiny.) it was great to see our family, but we all agreed that maybe this hotel wasn't the best fit for us.
No microwave or fridge. Hot tub was closed and didn't give notice
comfortable beds friendliness of shuttle driver and his pride in the facility
Rooms and dinning area House keepers not attentive and courteous.
I liked the location and friendly staff. Lots of amenities, but didn't use them. My room was spacious with fridge, microwave, coffee/tea maker, iron with board, & hairdrier. Room seemed clean, but very shabby. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, but get there early before it gets busy especially on weekends or you'll have a long wait for seconds. Sleep number bed difficult to use:(
Rooms were nice size, and had a good floor plan. Nice to have a full size refrigerator, and microwave in the room. Omelet bar was the best item at breakfast buffet. Pull out couch bed was very uncomfortable. Of the 5 nights we stayed in the hotel, housekeeping came by to clean our room only twice, and left the door to our room open all day/night during one of those times! Walls are thin, and easy to hear neighbors, babies crying, and people walking in room above.
Everyone was terrific. Second one I have stayed in. Very reasonable rates as well I might add!
Friendly staff, great breakfast, and super quiet. Pillows where very small and the thermostat was motion senor controlled so if you stepped out or went to bed it shut off.
The staff is fantastic and always friendly. The nicest chef even made me turkey sausage . I do not eat pork and was very grayeful There was some sort of gymnastics tournament some of the people were walking through kitchen area with no shoes I thought it was very unsanitary
Nice rooms, breakfast was good Picked this property in part because of the pool. My son was looking forward to it very much. Unfortunately, it was closed. I would like to see hotels have this information updated on their websites, at least. In this day and age, we shouldn't have to call a property to verify the things on its website.
Room was clean and pleasant. Staff friendly and couteous. Facilities undergoing remodel so not up to snuff but the room and premises were clean. Safe and convenient location. I would stay again.
clean comfortable accommodations and friendly, welcoming staff. free breakfast includes made-to-order omlets.
Great room, good price and delicious cookies at the desk.
The front desk was extremely friendly and very kind. Also our room and the service was wonderful. The fact that we were there for a helicopter ride and your website said the shuttle would take us to the airport and when we got there they said it was too far. Also the bar tender kept forgetting our drinks.
We enjoyed the happy hour and the pool while we were here and liked the size and layout of our room. Check-in was easy as well without issues. We experienced a very uncomfortable security issue because of other adult guests while at the pool. The hotel was slow to react to our concerns and did not offer us any compensation. The safety of my children is paramount, so we will never stay here again.
I liked the location and the hotel was very nice.I will stay there again if i go back. We were not able to get a king size bed. I guess there were not enough in the motel.
Great value. Nothing comes to mind.
Staff was nice and polite. They offered us water and I warm cookie which was very appreciated in the cold weather. My husband wanted a room that was very quiet. It was definitely quiet and comfortable. They called the room to make sure that we are happy with it after we checked in. We did not require room service, so they left us a note saying that they would be available if we did need them. It felt like they really cared about the customer and you don't see that much anymore. I will definitely stay at the Doubletree again in the future. Thank you.
Room was very nice and very clean... Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Not sure.
Very good location. Close to restaurants and I-25. Short drive to many local attractions. Very comfortable bed and sitting area. Staff friendly and helpful. Bathroom was rather small and our room had an unpleasant odor that Lysol spray could not eliminate.
Proximity to Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs excellent. Breakfast buffet very nice with lots of choices for everyone. Room very spacious and comfortable. Outdoor pool small but nice, clean. Extra large flat screen TV lovely BUT the cable stations came in so terribly that it was totally unwatchable. This was especially true with the childrens' channels which was one of our primary needs for a hotel space. Pay per view available but too expensive considering the premium price paid for the room.. Called the desk to see if there were solutions and were told it was often like that and nothing could be done. Extremely disappointing for the children and therefore uncomfortable for the adults. Meal options other than breakfast not great, bar very minimal.
Too loud - close to freeway
Modern decor and spacious.
I enjoyed the breakfasts in the morning. The hotel was very clean as well as the rooms. The beds were very comfortable, the best night sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Great indoor atrium with lots of plants, waterfalls, fish ponds, and lots of seating. Happy hour every day is awesome with free drinks and snacks. Made-to-order omelets for breakfast were delicious and really hit the spot. Kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Pool was a little on the cold side. Could hear loud guests in room next door through the walls. Outside of hotel looks a bit drab.
My daughters and I had a wonderful 5 night stay at your hotel. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the omelet chef was very pleasant every morning. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. It was perfect just the way it is.
Happy hour and the suites!
We really like the location and the facility. However, the main reason we stayed at this hotel was for the indoor pool and my youngest daughter got really sick from a bacteria in the pool. Took her to the ER and the doctorssaid it was caused from the pool. Very sick for 7 days.
The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was memorable. The rooms were awesome with beautiful views of the golf course and pikes peak. Close to tourist activities but felt like you were remote and private for relaxation. Nothing
Bellhops and Desk Clerks were very professional and provided great service. Nice view of the mountains. Bed was very uncomfortable. Large bathroom with a shower the size of a telephone booth. Showerhead was a joke, a slightly larger version of the kitchen sink sprayer. Poor television reception and on demand not available. Food was over priced and mediocre at best. I've had better stays at budget motels.
I always stay at Marriott. They are clean, friendly, welcoming, proactive, and just plain awesome. Nothing I didn't like.
Great service and location. Has a great view of the Pike's Peak.
I have stayed here for 5 nights. The staff at recieption were very useful. The room was clean. One day, the houskeeping girls has only cleaned the bath. The rest of my room has not been cleaned. When I lied on the bed, I found leftovers under the pillow. I could not belive that because I have not had food on the bed. It might be from the guest before me and the bed has not been changed. Or the housekeeping staff have their breakfast on my bed !!
Loved that the price was within our budget without skipping on quality, nice location, nice pool and friendly staff The only downfall was the messy breakfast area and the seating for breakfast was also dirty
Friendly staff. Nicely appointed rooms. The layout of the parking lot was a little bit confusing and tight to maneuver in.
Newly remodeled, excellent staff, nice linens and decor. Good breakfast. Rooms were a little small. Shower was loudest I've ever heard.
We loved the indoor pool and hot tub! Rooms very nice and comfy. Breakfast was great with eggs and bacon! Updated tv and decor. Best addition was a bench with cushion over air unit for extra seating and drawers. Wish for a pillow top mattress
Room was super clean and looked very nice. Bed was amazing. Check in and out process was super easy and fast. Staff members were great! I wouldn't have changed anything!
Everything, very clean, staff outstanding! Nothing to mention
We appreciated the kind stuff there there was more than willing to help with whatever we needed. Every night we came back to the hotel it was very clean and every morning The breakfast was delicious. A variety of breakfast items.overall it was a great experience The pool closed too early for the children. The snacks there was expensive
clean room. plenty of parking. good location. My refrigerator did not work...but I did not ask for it to be fixed so not the hotels fault
It was a good location. Walked to 3 different restaurants without crossing the street and still had two other options Room is MUCH SMALLER than it looks online. No hot water in the morning. Room sort of smelled. Breakfast area was way two small to accommodate. We were there for USAFA in processing so the hotel was full and the facility just couldn't accommodate that many people.
