Good location, comfortable and clean.
It is very clean, comfortable, and the location is great. The only staff that speaks English is the front desk, so if you want room service, laundry, or anything fixed by maintenance, you have to call the front desk and hope they aren't busy.
The hotel decoration and main halls are excellent.I've stayed in the Intercontinental club floors (17th floor) and rooms are excellent.
They charged more than Booking.com had confirmed to me and I spent 45 min discussing. In the end they agree with me.
the staff were great(welcoming, discreet, efficient) everyone was helpful (tolerant ) of my spanglish and assisted where ever possible no
The staff were all very friendly and spoke English. A kettle and coffee in the room would have been nice.
The room was fantastic! We ended up with an incredibly spacious loft with a modern and tasteful design throughout. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the location is perfect. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it is an absolute gem inside and an incredible value. The continental breakfast leaves a bit to be desired. If the eggs were any more runny they'd be soup. But it's free and the toast, cheese, and ham can at least get your day started.
This is one of the largest hotel rooms--or room in general, for that matter--that I've ever slept in. It is an interesting space with a speakeasy vibe that would have been quite cool if there were not an ant infestation. I also have praise for the staff, who did their best to mitigate the ant problem after we complained, but we should never have been put into a room with so many ants in the first place. The room was crawling with ants, all the way from the door, down the long hall to the bed, and around the bed. We only stayed one night, but I probably killed about 40 in the few hours between when we checked in and when we went to bed. The ants were mostly on the ground, but their proximity to the bed unnerved my wife, who had trouble sleeping before a long trip home from Argentina to the U.S. When we complained, the staff brought us insecticide, which helped with the ants but still left my wife anxious (one might say, "antsy") all night. We should never have been put into the room in the first place, and the hotel should have offered a full refund for the night's stay.
The staff very help full The room are very small
The hotel is superbly located just steps from Plaza de Mayo and close to where the underground train lines converge. Hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. If you plan to have a place to leave your bags while visiting the city this would be the place for you but DON'T expect to get what you see online. Upon arriving to the lobby you feel the "boutique hotel" style, until you enter your room. The pictures you see online don't represent what you get. The room was VERY small, sound isolation from other rooms was non-existent, and everything seemed dated. Even the TV on the online pictures showed a flat screen TV although my room had a CRT. It's 2014, people these things belong in museums, not in hotel rooms. Not even iron and board were available at the room. Once again, the bathroom was completely different from what I expected: old fixtures, stained bathtub, old toilet that gave me a hard time to flush, etc. My room looked liked the hostel rooms (Not the very cheap ones, of course) you would see in big European cities. Definitely not what I expected from a 4 star or even a 3 star hotel as it is advertised.
