The food. The noise.
The draw card for me was that the hotel was across the street from the Shopping Mall.We could not get the rooms that we booked because the hotel was full so we were upgraded to the Executive Suite which was totally amazing. The rooms are big and comfortable, warm as it was cold. The reception staff was very helpful with making arrangements for tours, taxi's etc. I would totally recommend this hotel to my friends, our stay was really pleasant and the food was very good. The trasport that we booked from the airport to the hotel was not sufficient for four ladies with lots of luggage, so we had to take two taxi's and spend more. The hotel staff could learn to speak more English.
It was very good
Great breakfast, great staff, big and comfortable rooms, good location, walking distance to a lot of things if you like to stroll around, very clean. One of the biggest malls is just across the street. The price was unbelievably good! Really worth the money!
Spacious rooms. Good location, next to shopping centre and underground stop. Swimming pool was closed.
Free tango lasssons everynight and a fabulous breakfast buffet. Very clean , nice rooms and free internet. nice and helpful staff
It was listed as a 5-star hotel. Liked the online pictures. Not crazy about the location.
It was a great allround experience would go back without hesitation. Staff, food and location were impeccable. Exceptional value for money.
The Tango experience Staff should be able to communicate in English
great breakfast, location, room size, generaly very clean, jacuzzi. paying for internet, the dining room staff
the staff were so friendly, the rooms were clean, charming.
The rooms are very spacious and nice, well renovated and maintained. Staff was friendly. Good value for money, even if tango is not your thing. Belgrano is a busy street and there is streetnoise. The entrance of the hotel is not very clear / attractive.
Interior. Tango. A bit difficult to carry luggages to the room, but a bit of exercise.
The people at the hotel refused to let me go out for food, because they thought that It was too dangerous for me, but did not serve food themselves. Therefore, I lay awake with an empty stomach, waiting to leave.
There was Tango Show in the venue downstairs every evening. The room was quite noisy.
Friendly helpful staff Noise from other guests late at night
Fantastic value for money and excellent room cleanliness
It was an interesting experience but not one to repeat! The hotel describes itself as a "boutique hotel" this is not honest. It is a kind of cheap boarding house. The main activity seems to be selling vastly verpriced Tango shows to gullible Americans! We could see and hear the show from the passage outside our room. Our room was shabby and the bathroom in poor condition. Used coffee cups and plates were left for two days on the compuetr desk in the corridor.
The staff were fantastic! One of us (travelling in group of 4) was really unwell and the staff went out of their wayto help out. Nice clean rooms and great staff. Easy access to major sites.
nice because I could follow lessons here, otherwise I would not have booked it quite far from the center, show every night so quite a bit of noise, bathroom outside the room
The room was excellent with a great ensuite bathroom. The buffet breakfast had a big selection of a variety of food - all delicious. The staff were very helpful and gave good information on the city sights.
The breakfast was awesome, variety and fresh. There are computers for free acess and Wi-Fi in the whole hotel. The location is very convinient. Good value! the elevators were absolutely small and not comfortable, better if you take them with somebody you know, if not you will feel very close to the next person!
I didn't like the hotel, the cleanliness of my room was terrible.
Nothing Hotal plays as a 3/4 star but its actually 2. Lots of broken items in the room, including air conditioning. When confronted about it, hotel reception just shrugged and said all the rooms ACs are broken and that's just the way it is. Too many trashy guests. Location king of scuzzy.
I stayed at the Samiento Palace Hotel from 04/11/10 - 19/11/10. The hotel is very much a 3 star hotel. However its location is ideal for shopping and if like me you want to tango as it is walking distance to 5 - 7 milongas. The bedroom was very small and the bathroom was too small for an adult to use. I could not use the wash basin as it was too small. There was no fride or coffee facilities in the bedroom.
Free Wi-Fi Internet, Free breakfast
room service and staff rooms were not like the pictures
The hotel is situated in not such a good neighbourhood.ven though the room was clean its was small and extremely noisy. Furniture is old and the floors are covered with staiins. We cancelled the planned 2 nd stay in this hotel Noisy and bad neighbourhood
free wifi I didn't receive the room I reserved, but an older one without heating. Only after I complained I was moved to a better room. Checkout time was 10:30 which is outraes
The rooms were clean and modern, the staff was very friendly, The restaurant attached to the hotel offered good food for a fair price. The pictures on their website were more promising than the reality
The staff was very friendly and speak enough English. It was possible to choose between more rooms at the check-in. They had an own remise (private car) service for better price than Tienda Leon or city cab. The power of central aircondition was not possible to control. The rooms are either noisy or dark. Not too romantic place but ideal for sightseeing passengers.
the staff were very obliging. the restaurant food was of a satisfactory standard the hotel advertised english speaking staff, only a couple did. the rooms are not air-conditioned, and they smell of cigarette smoke. the hotel is situated too far away from the city centre, and it is not safe to walk around without a guide, although from the site you would think that you were close to everything.
Staff are excellent, room and rates very competitive.Highly recommended!
The hotel is very clean, very confortable. They have a very big room with lcd, mini-kitchen. The staff was very pleasent. The breakfast was amazing. Hotel is near metro, just a few walk. O hotel era muito bem limpo, muito confortável. Eles tinha um quarto muito grande com lcd, mini-cozinha. Os funcionários foram bem educados. O Café da Manhã estava ótima. O hotel é perto do metro. They charged all my stay on my credit card at the check-in. The air conditioner was a little noisy. Eles debitaram toda minha estadia no check-in. O ar condicionado era um pouco barulhento.
Front desk staff were excellent and helpful. They arranged for a taxi to the international airport immediately upon request. Taxi arrived one minute before the requested time. I was amazed at the size and facilities provided in my room - #807. For one person for one night it was extravagant!!! Distance from the airport. When transferring between flights the city centre is a long way to travel. I searched the internet for accommodation but the only hits were all located in the city centre, 25-29 kms from the airport.
The cleanliness. We were on a 3 weeks trip around ARG and stayed at 6 different hotels. The Apart Hotel was one of the worst experiences we had, all because of the frontdesk staff. They were extremely cold, military-like and not willing to make you feel welcome in any way. There was no conversation, zero eye contact during the whole stay (It was traumatising to walk in or out the hotel as they don't look at you) and we were very disappointed with the whole experience. It was also the only hotel out of the 6 where we had to pay at check-in. Expect lots of noise due to rooms rented to over-excited herds of pre-teenagers or families with children ! Expect unjustified increase of price if you decide to change your reservation!!
The staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is located very close (5 min walk) to the tourist hop-on-hop-off bus. It is about a 15 min walk to Florida Street.
Good position, room very nice, very good breakfast. None.
Nice design and good location. Room was overlooking the Tucuman street and it was noisy-specially at night.Traffic, people talking & dogs barking.
comfortable.. central location.. no.
The hotel is a boutique style with high ceilings and paintings on walls. I was given a room on the street side and my window did not close properly and there was a lot of noise outside during the early morning so I did not sleep well. I made a collect call to home but was charged a large amount for the local dial out and this was not clear in their information book. The hotel´s exchange rate from USD to Argentinian pesos was higher than it should have been.
The location was very central and close to a lot of points of interest in the city. Breakfast was not gourmet-style but nevertheless adequate. The elevator was so noisy that it appeared to be in the room. Very limited to no knowledge of English of the hotel staff. Extra 21% vat was charged if room was paid with credit card but it could be that this is standard to every hotel in buenos aires?
nothing, the room was dirty and old. The staff is not prepare to receive guest. It's very central but in a bad street. old and dirty
th hotel is in the center of Buenos Aires great for shopping and the staff is wonderfull.
Other than the reservation issue the staff was ok The hotel staff didn't accept my reservation, internet barely functioning, hot water stopped working for several hours, the rooms are too old and poorly maintained
I did like everything!
I like just the price! The hotel doesn't have no smoke rooms. The staffs don't speak in English. The Bed is really small and uncomfortable, the bathroom doesn't have Box, When you take shower all bathroom became totally wet. The breakfast is poor but the prices is good and you can access internet a good price too.
Location is ideal in terms of convenience to Metro & buses. A little disappointed that the check out time was 1000h and non negiotable. We had a mid night flight; any extension incur at least 1/2 payment.
Breakfast is included. The staff was nice. Location is close to Plaza Miserere. The Internet signal was too weak to work with my laptop in my hotel room. The rooms are fairly spartan. Beyond soap and shampoo, don't expect much.
The position was great , the staff wonderful, rooms very clarn and comfortable, the spa facilties excellent, would recommend this hotle to anyone !!!!!!!!!!!! great value would suggest music in the pool area
After three weeks cycling through South America, our final hotel was the Boutique Zen Suite Hotel. We stayed at the hotel for relaxing and visiting Buenos Aires. The staff was very helpfull. The bed was nice and the bathroom comfortable.
The staff was absolutely great. Very patient with our inablity to speak fluent spanish. Very helpful with our requests for places to visit & dinning. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The Bed was larger than King Size and the bath/jacuzzi was welcomed after walking the Beunos Aires streets. We felt more than a hotel guest we felt like we were treated like family. Thanks Boutique Zen Suite!
Hotel Staff / Comfort of Room Location
Nice location, nice and friendly staff. Swimming pool and jacuzzi have been not in use and rather dirty (no pump working and a water in the pool had a bad appearance like not filtered for long time). Sauna closed at 2100 (means not available after arrival in hotel in the evening). The price was higher than in some similar hotels without above facilities, but we accepted it and finaly have not used anyway.
clean rooms, friendly staff Very poor breakfast. Mostly sweets. Staff inexperienced.
